Was awful, first the hostess treated me like I was lying about my daughter's she because she's big for her age, when she went to talk to the other guy that was going to be taking care of my cable I could tell that they were talking about me lying I understand their language just a little but enough to know then couldn't get a refill on my drink or anything I will never go back

Clean bathroom. Staff was accommodating, as we arrived there late, close to closing time, but they stood open and cooked what we needed. Kept the buffet open till we were finished eating. GREAT Restaurant!! Will eat there more often. My whole family enjoyed the service.

My favorite restaurant for takeout! The food is great, consistent and I have never been sick. I gave it 4 stars because I dont like eating inside, it really needs a facelift. It is clean but feels dirty, dark and not relaxing. Because of the food they could be 1st class but the decor makes them feel inferior.

The last time I visited here, around 2 years ago, I vowed to never go back. The food was cold/inedible and it made me and my party sick. This time, however, couldn't be more different. The food was all fresh. The flavors of the food were spot on, and last but not least I didn't get sick. 7/10 will return.

Their customer service is great! I walked in about 30 minutes before closing on Christmas to get take out. The food was still fresh but there was one thing they ran out of. I was looking around before I took a plate and they asked what I was looking for. I said I wanted the cream cheese wontons. They asked if I could wait for them, I said sure. 10 minutes later they came out of the kitchen fresh out the fryer. They didn't charge me extra, they made a few just for me. I filled up my other plate and it was only $10. I went again today and really stuffed my plate more than last time and it was $10 again. They use a scale to determine pricing. It's a great deal none the less. I got general tso chicken, chicken and broccoli, pepper steak, 8 pieces of sushi, 5 fried shrimp and 5 cream cheese wonton. Honestly, it can't get better than that. I really enjoy this place. I hope the pricing doesn't change!

Worst place ever!!! I went to this place thinking i was going to get some chinese food but instead got rude and bad service. The waitress didnt understand us at all not even a little of what we was saying. When she asked us for our drinks she double each flavor drink we said, when we didnt ask for 2 drinks per person? Then when we asked how many drinks have she took down so far she didnt understand at all she just kept telling us the total of the drinks and then got real rude with my grandmother when she asked to see the order pad for OUR ORDER.

Came and ate lunch with my family, when we received our check. I gave the server our money for our bill. I was going to leave a few dollars on the table but didn’t get the chance due to the server standing over me asking me to give him a few dollars for a tip. I found that extremely unprofessional and rude! I will NEVER come back to eat. Super disrespectful.

Just what you would expect for a good Chinese Buffett. Food was still hot and we saw them constantly refilling or changing the trays that were getting old. Clean tables, attentive staff, and average bathrooms. Only complaint is that I wish they would label the food! Didn’t try the hibachi this time but definitely will on our next visit. They were constantly making fresh sushi at the sushi bar which really helped with the atmosphere. I also enjoyed that they had ice cream from tubs to scoop yourself instead of a machine.

HORRIBLE!! The "waitress" slung silverware on the table. Then made mistakes with our drinks, cane to the table speaking in her native language, so I told her I couldn't understand her and she said she was just letting them know my SNL wasn't eating. A few minutes later she picked some thing up off the floor and placed it on another customer's table and walked away, even though he the lady told her she did not want it. After that, she was coming through the restaurant with a cart and just PUSHED my four year old grandson to the side and just kept walking! But his father saw it happen and let them know what she did. They apologized, but we paid (no tip) and got out of there. Never plan to return!! Neither does my family.

Eat at this place on a regular basis. Food is average for a buffet. Nothing outstanding. Tonite we went there for bite and something new, in the middle of the meal waitress brought the check and said, “you pay now?” I said, “no I’ll pay when we’re through eating.” 5 minutes later same waitress came back and said, “you pay now?” Had to ask the guy at the register (probably the owner) did he know that his waitresses were doing this. He just looked at me like suddenly didn’t understand english. Has anyone else had a similar experience at this place?

You occasionally hear the "roach rumor" about this place, and the seafood is sometimes hit or miss, but it genuinely doesn't matter to me for the most part; that coconut shrimp, man... Hook me up to an IV bag of that and pump it into my bloodstream. Too damn good.

Great service, excellent food some was cold even under the lamp that keeps them warm. Bathrooms were decent, in girls handicap bathroom doesn't flush all the way, there are no paper towels in or around the bathrooms. Waitresses will try to rush you out, a waitress came to the table twice asking if I was ready to leave in less than 5 minutes. Overall great place will be happy to come back!!!

This is by far my favorite Chinese food buffet in Hammond. It's my "dirty little secret" I always stock up on the chicken or beef because they cook it several ways. All of them tasting Great. I must confess that China Palace has "THE BEST Wong Tong Soup" ... Yes I'm aware I can go to several other more expensive places BUT ----- NONE TASTE as GOOD as this place.
