We spotted it, when we were going to the dollar general store next door.so that night we ( my husband & I ) went to give it a try!! It was very good.they didn't have a # dish that had what my husband wanted.so when the waitress took our order, my husband just told her what he wanted to eat..& she told him that's fine..the chips we're hot,& the sauce was fresh & good.so was our dinner.

I normalky come here on Sundays after church. The food is great and not at all the issue. The issue is however the customer service. I have never been to a place where the owner has so little regard for her customers. She is rude and doesn't care wether or not you are happy. They have added a policy to their menu and if you do not order a "meal" then they will charge each person who doesnt 3.95 for chips and salsa wether they eat them or not. To me that seems ridiculous. If you order something al a carte then you shouldnt be forced to pay for chips and salsa especially since I didnt eat them. I could see if a person came in and just ordered drinks and ate chips and salsa' then fine charge them. If a person is ordering food (maybe not a meal listed but other things) then you should not have to pay for chips and salsa that free to those who purchase a full meal. It is unfortunate that they believe that they can do this and keep customers. I also asked for tortillas and never recieved them. I doubt I will be back to Chavos in Plain Dealing again. I will also be discouraging any of my friends or family from coming here again. The owner needs a refresher course in customer service.

It would be nice for them to update their website and Google info so people won't drive 30-45 minutes just to meet their and they're closed when they say they're open.. they post the r open now on Sunday till 9 pm when actually they closed at 3.. wasted gas and wasted time.. we don't live close to plain dealing but we drove just to eat there so thanks for nothing Chavos..
