I have only been able to experience cafe Lynn through waitr food delivery service because I have some minor health issues but serious enough to get the fun drugs. Lol And I have excellent taste buds and I know good fresh food when I tast it. I called and spoke to Manager on duty Angie. She was very professional and I could hear the smile in her voice I had called to complement them on the excellent food that I have been eating I called back and spoke to the sous chef the next day and complimented him on whatever excellent job they are doing and the caliber chefs that are coming through Café Lynn are as good if not better as the chefs that have gone thru commander palace in New Orleans Well I Just the bio on the chef and wife miss Brandi before writing this. So I know my tastes buds were right. Bravo to Shoeffle and Miss Brandi I used to for a company maybe you hear of i Disney, in catering/banquet/convention services I know what it takes once food goes into a styrofoam tray or heating cart do you have the food present it to a customer just like it was table side and cooked al minute. If you are anywhere in the metro New Orleans area it is worth the drive to North Shore to make reservations to eat at Café Lynn Gail Leeper

Everything about our experience at Cafe Lynn was positive! From the moment we made a reservation for our large group, to the service, to the perfectly prepared and delivered hot entrees, it was wonderful. I would highly recommend Cafe Lynn!

The food here is fairly decent but my service at this restuarant was terrible. I ordered a large to go order for staff and when I went into Cafe Lynn to pick up my order I barely recieved any service. At the time I thought, they are busy, I understand. But when I got back to my destination with our food 3 items were missing. I spoke with the staff and because I was unable to go back I asked if there was anyway I could be comped for the items. She politely told me she would ask and call me back because aparently the rest of my order was in a brown community coffee box close to the 2 plastic bags my food was in. Just for a mental image the to go counter was cluttered with menus and various items the staff uses so a community coffe box would easily go unnoticed. If I had gotten the proper service any customer should get then I would have been told I had an additional "box" of food. I was barely told where my 2 bags of food were. After talking to the staff the owner then picked up the phone and was completely rude to the point that I counldn't talk to her anymore. She even went as far as to tell me that I should have opened each item of my food to make sure everything was there. Excuse me ISN'T THIS YOUR JOB? Point blank rude to the point that they have lost our business. All we wanted was to be able to get the food left out of our box the next time we returned but they would rather argue who is in the wrong than let us have the items we paid for the next time we return. Cafe Lynn-No Thanks.

Cafe Lynn is one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten at! From the outstanding food, to the top notch service, you can't go wrong. They are extremely accommodating to large parties and any food allergies one might have etc. They really make you feel like you're part of the family! We cannot wait to go back!

Very good food. Place is not fancy looking but the food is fresh and tasty. I went twice, first time with my family. Not exactly kid friendly but they accommodated us very well. Quail was great. Second time with friends, creme brûlée was great, espresso was good and the scallops were great. Oyster with pasta did not look great, I did not try them but did not look attractive, inviting. The gulf shrimp pasta was very good.

Always love this place. Food is nearly as good as the very best restaurants in the area but more consistent. It's fairly easy to walk in without a reservation because it's away from the main strand of retail. I usually get at least one thing from the specials. It's kid friendly, but thankfully it's not sticky and noisy like most of the restaurants that emphasize that fact. We sometimes bring ours but it's not a lot of fun for little ones. No view but good ambiance.

Had lunch there today with a friend. I had a friend crab cake with lots of crabmeat on it. It came with a crisp green salad, steamed fresh stringbeans and thinly sliced red potato pieces. Served with a warm small loaf of bread. My friend had a large shrimp remaloude salad. Looked delicious and she said it was! My first time there, will go back.

Everything tastes amazing. From the cocktails, to the the appetizers, to the soup and salad, to the main entree. I recommend the wedding cake martini, the crab claws, seafood gumbo, and the risotto that's on the summer special menu.

French onion soup is a great start! The seared duck in creole honey mustard sauce... just melts in your mouth. Great creme brulee. Beautiful meal, definitely reccomend.

I only stopped in to pick up 2 large Greek salads. They were quite tasty. The restaurant seems very clean and the lighting was low, which gave the place a romantic feel. The staff were quick and attentive, though one or two of them did eat in front of me. There was some complaining, but these negatives were not enough to give less than 5 stars.

Chef Joey is one of the best Chefs in St. Tammany. Cafe Lynn is a must. It can be very busy so call agead and make a reservation. It isnt required but it sure can't hurt.

Such a delightful experience! We came for lunch, so it wasn't too busy, and from the moment we walked in the door, the service was superb! We loved all the dishes, amd the servers were knowledgeable about their menu, which really helped us decide on what we wanted to eat. The whole plate of food was delicious, amd my wife could not stop eating the crab claws. Would definitely recommend for a nice day or night out.

I'm not sure if I would go back here. The ladies restroom was very accommodating. They thought of everything a girl might need. I had a ribeye in brandy and green peppercorn sauce. It was delicious but it was the fattiest ribeye I have ever had. The peppercorn sauce, potatoes and green beans were really delicious. The rabbit and sausage gumbo was under salted but good. The lemon vinaigrette on the Greek salad tasted very fresh and lemony vs. sour-tasting as most lemon vinaigrettes do. The texture of the chicken in the masala was unfortunately mushy instead of plump and tender. The creme brulee was delicious!

One of my favorite restaurants in the New Orleans area! The food here rivals Commander's Palace. My favorite dish is the redfish almandine with lump crabmeat. It is delicious! The staff is friendly and professional. Best restaurant on the Northshore!

It took long to be served my salad was mostly greens (I sent it back for more goat cheese and prosciutto. The seared fish was dry)) and it was freezing cold.. bring a jacket!

Fabulous meal!! The special summer menu includes entree, salad, and a glass of wine for just 19.99. The portions are very generous, more than enough for one person. The service was outstanding as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
