A++ Our server recommended the Crawfish pot pie and man was it good. Great flavor and portion size, couldn't be better! Had the bread pudding after and that was as good or better, (too big for one, I'd say split it with two at least). All and all it was damn good and the staff was great.

Small bar/restaurant type...live music..area for groups..bar seating...simple place but don't let that keep you from going...stuffed crab plus seafood pasta dishes and Creole stuffed mushrooms...all extremely good...reasonably priced...casual atmosphere..we had a guy that was the waiter on tables in bar...he was outstanding.

I decided to try iron skillet tuna which I hadn't had in years , but I made a mistake and asked for it to be cooked medium. Flavor was good though. My brother enjoyed his plate of sausages except the Boudin was too hot for him. I ate it and thought it was mild not hot. Not the best Boudin in Lafayette, but good. The atmosphere is always nice there with the ceiling wood from an old barn. Service was fast even though they were very crowded.

The service was excellant with Josh. It's our first time here, via our travels to Florida. We were adventurous and tried the gator, frog legs and the full body shrimp. and topped it off with the loaded bread pudding. The sauces served with each was awesome. I think they had an off night. Service was sloppy and our server was overly loud. It made for an obnoxious dinner. The double cut pork chop was going to take 30 min to prepare. Others in our party would be finished by then. This fact should have been stated on the menu. When presented with the food the plates were not well presented. Moreover, they were kind of thrown at us. The grilled chicken salad I had was just okay. Was pretty disappointed as I had heard good things.

Small but tasty place. We got there early and missed the crowd that arrived later. A bit pricier, but a bit fancier and more high quality than the average fried seafood place. These were more gourmet-type dishes. Everyone at my table loved what they ordered, and the service was great, even though we had a large group.

My wife and I love Bon Temps. We have been coming for over 4 years and never once have we had bad service or bad food. It has always been exceptional, and the staff is awesome always. Love this place. The jambalaya is the bomb and always delicious. I always get extra on the shrimp and meats.

Great, authentic, Cajun food. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the service is good. I ordered blackened chicken pasta which was spicy, and the amount of food allowed me to take it home for left overs. If you're a foodie, this is the place to go.

The food was delicious, we didn't have room for dessert but if it was anything like the apps or main course it would have been worth every penny.

We stopped here for a beverage one afternoon and from the outside doesn't really look like you would think. Im like it just looks like some bbq joint. Staff was friendly and fairly quick. Bar service was average. it should have maybe been a little quicker as for a while we were the only folks in the restaurant. My partner and I ordered the swordfish special of the day, the crab cake appetizer (as an entree) and the Banana Foster bread pudding dessert and all were great. The crab cake was about the size of two donuts stacked then squashed and enough for a light meal.It was a busy place on Friday night with a 20-minute wait and just one parking space left in their small parking lot when we arrived around 6 pm but we got the last two seats at the bar and didn't have to wait.

We were visiting friends in Abbeville and wnet to Lafayette to go to Art Walk. We stumble acrss this restaurant and stopped to have lunch. The sausage board was the best part of the meal. three types of sausage from sweet to hot- chicken, pork and boudin. My fish was fine and a good value. The staff was attendant but not intrussive. Their food is really really good. Everything was tasty and wonderful to eat. Even their dessert was delicious. It's a little far to drive but it's worth it.

Second time here and was as great an experience as the first. Went for lunch with family and was treated like royalty. Attentive staff was quick to get us settled with drinks and bread. It was a bit of a wait for our food but it was also so worth it. Food is plentiful and oh so tasty. Seared Ahi tuna was cooked to perfection and was so fresh. Grilled gulf shrimp topper sent this dish into another world. Very very satisfied with this restaurant. Well worth the trek.

This place is awesome! Great service and a very diverse, unique menu. You can tell everything is homemade and made with love. We stopped in on our way home to Houston. It was a little out of the way and out on it's own but 100% worth it! Try the turtle soup, sausage appetizer, and the Brekky Fries!

GO THERE! I wish I knew a word that was beyond excellent, delicious.... fresh, wonderful food. My brother, from S Texas, had appetizer gumbo. It was second only to our mom's (maybe some emotions & loyalty in play). My sister and I split a crab cake, and it was the absolute best! Our dinners were the real deal. Crawfish pie, fish tacos (sweet Baby Jesus!), and blackened chicken pasta. I could go on and on. The atmosphere is great, the staff is like they've known you forever. I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. Our waitress, Cindy, was especially helpful, and happy to answer questions. I will be going back as often as possible, and so should you.

The food at Bon Temps Grill had great food and staff. The feeling the and atmosphere of the restaurant however was very mixed. It almost gives a texas roadhouse vibe but my food was plated in such a way that it felt like I was at a nicer uppity restaurant on a plate that seemed below the restaurants quality. If I am being frank none of that matters in the end and my food was great and it was great service. In most cases idc enough for something like that to affect the review but it just felt so conflicting that it was hard to get past. Their meatloaf is killer and enjoy your time there.

Small hidden gem! It was by far one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was just phenomenal from start to finish. The crabcake appetizer was amazing. I ordered the grilled meatloaf with corn. Absolutely the best I've ever eaten and it's my favorite dish. Even the corn was suprisingly delicious. The staff are super nice and the service was great! Casual dining. You can wear your jeans or business attire and feel comfortable. Would for sure go back again. First time going. Staff was very friendly and attentive. They all seemed to work well together. Went for dinner at 6pm and it wasn't overcrowded- no wait to be seated. The table area was clean. Items on menu were affordable and the portions were large. I ordered the crawfish pot pie and I had leftovers- my dish cost $14. My coworker had the shrimp and grits and he loved his dish as well- I think his was closer to $10. The place was kept clean. If I had to give a negative it would probably be the music being too loud- sometimes it was difficult hearing our conversation at a normal tone.

So we are from Idaho snow birding down this way. This is our first time in any southern state and our first real Cajon food. Everything was absolutely wonderful!! Great flavors, fresh, and service was excellent!! They ran out of the famous bread pudding, but they gave us a cinnamon roll to go for free. How nice!! It was delicious too! This place was suggested to us by the staff at Parish as we are from out of town and needed somewhere for dinner. It did NOT disappoint! The hubbs and I ordered the meat platter (not sure what its called) and absolutely nothing was left behind. We were so full but finished every bite. I cant wait to go back just to eat here! It has a very diner/mom and pop type feel, so if youre looking for fancy, though the food is fantastic quality, atmosphere is more laid back. The place was packed, we sat at the bar, had great service, the food came out quick and the drinks were always cold. Cant wait to return!

We loved the atmosphere and the side dishes were phenomenal! We also enjoyed the sausage board appetizer which was delicious! Service was good, we felt pressured to decide on drinks as soon as we sat down so perhaps give new customers a minute to familiarize themselves with the menu before you pounce! Only real negative was steaks were not cooked well. I ordered medium rare and it was so rare I couldn't eat it. We filled up on sides so it was OK but, a meat thermometer could fix this easy in the kitchen! We would try it again for sure!

What an amazing experience at this restaurant! From the door you know you are coming to a great place. My son even said it, “they are so nice that they even hold the door for us and greet us. This will be a nice experience”. We are from Colombia and love southern soul food The food was spectacular and very flavorful. Hands down for me, best crab cakes in town! Heaven on a plate!!! The rest of the food is spot on too!! I've never had a bad meal here, and once they even made me fresh potato chips that weren't even on the menu!We selected the Boucherie Board for Two because we thought it would give us a good taste of a variety of things. There wasn't as much food on the board as the pictures appear, but plenty for us to still have food left over.

Totally worth the trip from Phoenix to experience this amazingly authentic Louisiana restaurant! Demie was on point with her knowledge on every plate and drink in the place. The ambiance of the restaurant makes you feel at home. To top it off the manager (maybe owner?) came by to make sure everything was to perfection. We called ahead to be seated and was told by the staff it would put us before anyone else that walked in. Waited 45 minutes to be seated and when a table became available it was given to another group with the same amount of people who was further down the line then us.
