The waiter has a photographic memory. He can remember what you had last time, even if it was a couple of years ago, and will ask if you want the same thing...and will get every detail, right down to what you had to drink correct. It's amazing. My mom and I are regulars and always get the same thing. We came in the other day after a year or so and he had our drinks at the table even before we sat down, and he brought out our usual.....garlic shrimp and crab rangoons for mom - egg rolls, hot and sour soup, and szechuan beef with an extra bowl of hot chili sauce for me....

We went here to eat often when we lived in Zachary. Now when we return to visit family we try to eat here. It is still as good as I recall the first time we went so many years ago. The flaming pu pu plater is our all time favorite starter. I had the orange chicken special last time, but also like the garlic shrimp. Atmosphere and service are top notch.

It sickens me that I drive past them often and frequently see their parking lot so empty. The food has always been so fresh and hot I have to let it cool before eating. And even if I was starving, I couldn't ever eat it quickly because I have to cherish every delicious bite. So, yeah. This place has great food and their service is AMAZING when I never see more than 2, rarely 3, family members working at a time.

The service is always quick and friendly at Asian Pearl. However, I went for lunch recently and had the pork lo mein. The pork tasted so badly freezer burned that it wasn't edible. The noodles were fine though. I probably won't be going back as a result of this experience.

It was ok, but I wouldn't go back. The soup was good, but the Hunan beef was basic and not spicy. The white rice was not an Asian type of rice so it didn't have the right texture. Service was quick. Prices are reasonable. Parking is difficult.

I have to admit...I’ve lived here for 12 years and have never eaten here before. Now I regret it. It might be the best Chinese I have eaten. Steamed Dumplings, Spicy Pork Lo Mien, and General Tso Chicken...ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! Highly Recommend!!!

This is my family's first visit. My wife and kids offered General Tso Chicken with Chicken Lo Mein Noodles. I ordered Chicken w/ Mushrooms extra spicy. My dish looked like the same dish I've had elsewhere. Taste was comparable to others', as well. The selection my wife and kids ordered far exceeded our expectation! I've never seen my kids as much ,,, and these are picky eaters. While I do like General Tso's Chicken, to me, the experience is, "meh". Asian Pearl has a version that puts others to shame! The sight of the chicken was questionable so my expectations weren't high ,,, but when I took a bite of the chicken? "MAN, that is deLICIOUs!" This experience -- meal and dining -- was so much better than a local restuarant we visited then night before. I love a shrimp poor boy but I'll never go back to Jar ... Wait, wrong review

I have been here several times and the food has always been good and plentiful. If you are not going to lunch, it can be a little pricy. I've yet to find something on the menu that hasn't been good. The decor could use some work as it's starting to show it's age.

This place is amazing! The food is always extemely delicious and the customer service is absolutely amazing. I have eaten here for about 5 years now and haven't once been disappointed. They have a lot of different options to choose from, and I recommend the Pao Pao platter for an appetizer. It is extremely appeasing to look at, but I will let it be a surprise as to why once it gets to the table:)

Great food, terrific service, friendly staff, love this place! Since moving to Zachary over 8 years ago I have dined in & ordered take out from Asian Pearl on a regular basis. I have NEVER had a bad experience with them. Sesame chicken is my favorite. My son & fiancé & I LOVE the donuts for dessert. You can't go wrong whether you dine in or carry out. Food is always ready within 20 minutes.

Always the best ! Echo is the host most times and he is wonderful. Highly recommend the crab rangoons. Like no other. Their soups are all outstanding and are my go to when I feel a cold coming on. Like an instant cure. Hands down best Asian food in Baton Rouge!

Other people find it ok, but I don't not find anything on the menu appetizing. The fried rice and subgum always has a weird greasy flavor, that I don't like, the chicken is always old, or chewy, so I have to ask for my fried rice without chicken. We tried some meat stick and it also tasted old and burnt, did not like it. Employees are really nice and friendly but I personally do not like the food. I know other people who enjoy the food and the price.

I remember the first time I went to Asian pearl. The outside looked horrid, no real decoration as if I was walking into a shack. I then remember walking in and being surprised at how nice the interior looked. Quite the little gem hidden away. The food is a touch on the expensive side being around 8 to 10 dollars per entree but the food is delectable and the place is truly worthy of being called a restaurant. This place includes a bar and has a nice sized menu for those eating in, ranging from Mei fun to different chicken or beef entrees to lo mein of different kinds and more. Often times the place is not very crowded allowing for people to eat in peace without fear for screaming children and obnoxious and over zealous adults. Most importantly the waiters are extremely nice people who serves with a smile. Take out is available for those who does not wish to eat in the store allowing you to enjoy quality Chinese food on the go versus panda express or similar places with poor quality. Overall it's a place everyone should give a try

I would give this place 5 stars, because the food is really very good, but they don't offer delivery. Take-out and dine-in only. I would eat there much more often if that option were available. On the plus side, I've never had anything I didn't like there. I highly recommend the General Tso's chicken and the crab rangoon. Best I've had!
