Been there a couple of years ago and the food and service was ok at best. Stopped by this morning and didn't get acknowledged for about 15 minutes. 2 other tables who came in after us was waited on before we were. Food was still ok. I guess you have to be part of the regular crowd.

I have dined at Traditions Family Restaurant several times and I've always had a delicious meal. However, I was there for dinner a couple of weeks ago and after noticing a dinner served at another table I decided that I would order the same. 'The open-faced roast beef with mashed potatoes'. Well, it was out of this world good! The beef was fork-tender and smothered with a savory gravy and the mashed potatoes smooth and seasoned just right. I opted for a side of garden salad which complemented the meal. And best of all I had the homemade peanut butter pie for dessert. So good! After inquiring about the pie recipe I was told it was "easy to make". Well, for the simple ingredients recited, it sure tasted like a gourmet dessert to me. I think I surprised my dinner partner that I ate every bit of dinner and could only eat a few bites of pie. (saved the rest for later;) The staff is friendly and the restaurant spacious and very comfortable. Trust me when I say, when you want a great home-cooked meal head straight to Traditions Family Restaurant in Alexandria, Ky. You won't be disappointed! Call ahead for opened hours of hospitality.

Great small diner. If your looking for some home cooked style food then I definitely recommend. Across the street from AJ Jolly Park. Check the times of when they are open for business, I think on some days they close at 2 PM.

Omgoodness my 1st time there & its amazing.. I had the crispy chicken wrap it was huge & omg the best wrap I've ever had.... My husband is such a picky eater & he got the chicken club.. He loved it, he ate every bit & that never ever happens but it did there.... We absolutely will b back prob will b a routine for us from now on its so good.. & i saw some1 say the kitchen was dirty.. BS i saw it & it was very clean & all the staff was washin hands constantly.... We loved it & will come back often

Fabulous breakfast and lunch dining. Delicious home cooked meals. I go for breakfast and get a breakfast skillet. Either option is big. I get a large and take part home for breakfast the next day. Fabulous reheated! I highly recommend you try this little home in the wall.

My family absolutely loves this restaurant and they have the best peanut butter pie in town! The food is Hometown cooking and it's always delicious you will not regret trying this restaurant. Also the staff is always extremely nice and courteous. On Fridays they are open for dinner and they have awesome meals for great prices.

This place is great for a quick home-cooked meal at a good price. Very family friendly. Seating for 2 to 10. Only opens around 6:30AM and closes at 2 PM (except for Fridays open until 8 or 9 PM. Great for breakfast and hearty lunches. Great burgers and patty melts. There are always home-cooked specials for lunch and dinner on Fridays. They are usually open on holidays and Sundays.

A great small restaurant to visit for breakfast when you're in the area and feeling something different than Frisch's. Independently owned, Traditions has fantastic breakfast foods that won't disappoint. They offer bacon, sausage patties, links, as well as goetta or ham for an extra charge. Their breakfast bowls are definitely recommended as well - like most things here, the breakfast bowls give huge portions! I've never had anything from their non-breakfast menu, its really hard to order a burger with such good breakfast foods. Staff is always very friendly. I would rate 5 stars, but there are just a couple issues I have with Traditions. First, they tend to be fairly packed and busy whenever I go. It may take 10+ minutes to receive food. Second, seating in Traditions is very limited (also why they are also pretty much full every time I go). There also really isn't seating for parties larger than 5 people, so if coming with a large group be prepared to sit separately or wait until they can piece together 2 open tables...which might take a while. If you like fresh-made breakfast and aren't feeling a run to Frisch's, Traditions is a great place to check out. Highly recommended

They are open 7 days a week 7AM, (or is it 6:30?) till 2PM, even some holidays like Memorial Day. They are open one evening a week on Friday and have dinner specials. I almost always have the skillet bowl breakfast, but friends have other things and everyone I take there thinks the food is fabulous... My wife likes the patty melt for lunch. My favorite local place in southern Campbell county.

We're regulars there. Foods delicious and the service is usually very quick despite their breakfast and lunch rush. Great prices and a decent selection. They always have a new homemade desert daily, wow. UPDATED March 2018 One worker there can be rude, at the times lacks customer service skills. Saying things like “what else ya want” and “is that it?”. She’s short with customers every now and then. Always yelling a lot. I have had no problems otherwise with there business. You should still frequent this mom and pop spot.
