Service was excellent. Food was delicious. Went for bbq and instead got there fish special. Was very happy with the choice. I had two sides, slaw and potato salad both were very good. Wife had the corn on the cob which she said was sweet delicious. To top a wonderful meal off, finished with some yummy coconut pie. Very busy. Smaller place so have to be patient but worth it.

The mutton was good and the sides were fresh other than the side salad. Had one of the most amusing encounters with the wait staff when she noted "I'm not very good at this job". The pecan pie was tasty but other members of my group said the pulled pork was run of the mill.

The tables were so tight that everyone had to get up and move their chair to get my mother's wheelchair through. It took them 15 minutes to clean off our table after seating us and the service was shoddy at best. I understand it was really busy that day but they did not plan for an appropriately. The people see immediately after us got their food before our table was cleaned. They stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. We asked him to clean off her table twice and they kept forgetting us. The food was horrible. I kept choking are my chicken because it was so dry. The mashed potatoes are obviously out of box. The coleslaw wasn't great and the cream corn was inedible. The white beans were Bland as well. Definitely wasn't worth the wait. If you're looking for BBQ keep driving.

We waited 15 minutes for someone to wait on us, someone finally took our drink order and then we were never waited on again. We left after another 15 minutes of not being waited on. Left the money on the table for our drinks and that was that.

I got the mutton lunch plate with white beans, baked beans, and French friesb which also came with 2 cornbread muffins and it was all delicious! The sauce for the messy was a slightly spicy sauce similar to sweet and sour sauce.

I personally enjoyed my experience. The pulled pork mmm mmm I recommend you order that, but if you don't like meat, then get out... just kidding they have lots of other choices that would suit you. I could tell you all of them, but I don't have the time, and you have to see for yourself.

This was recommended by my husbands coworkers. I ordered ribs with mashed potatoes and green beans. The potatoes were instant and the greenbeans were fine. The ribs were tender and prepared with a dry rub. Nothing to get overly excited about. My husband's Salisbury steak was eerily just like swansons according to him. We ordered pecan pie which was ok. It was made with a premade crust. Overall a decent place to get a quick bite but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

Amazing people and even better food. Love the BBQ sauce and the greens were seasoned perfectly. The fresh tomatoes were the icing on the cake! My only problem is that it took a long time to decide which type of pie I wanted. Prices are amazing especially for the amount of food you get. Will be back!

The food there is delicious and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I was there on the day of the Great American Solar Eclipse and they were extremely busy but they still took the time to describe menu items and still checked back on us. The prices are good and the lunch specials are awesome.

I'm not into Dry-rub BBQ, plus the meat was dry (ribs & chicken). The BBQ sauce is an afterthought and watery. The sides were just okay at best. Too bad, the price and service was great. I did like the French fries.

Ribye sandwich was good, banana pudding was about a day or two past its expected life and service was a little slow , waitress was to busy with her phone. Last time we were here it was great. Will be back again everyone has a off day.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Placed our order, after waiting 45 minutes we still had not received our meal. The waitress never came over to apologize for the wait . After talking to the manager which didnt really care that we had not been served we left. Will not be returning to this restaurant. They really do not even deserve one star. Don't waste your time.

Out in these parts, it's slim pickings when it comes to decent food. I was very happy with the barbecue that we got at the Woodshed. I'm from BBQ capital so I'm pretty picky and it was pretty good. Being there has a very small town / Hometown feel, and everyone seemed to know everybody. The mutton was excellent and the prices were extremely Fair. I didn't get to sample of a pie but what they had on display looked mouth watering.

I have been a customer of Wood Shed since the 80's. When family or friends came to Kentucky for a visit we always took them to Wood Shed. I have taken food to friends in Arizona and Tennessee. Since the "changing of the guards" things have changed. The next generation is not friendly and the food is not as good as it was. Saturday evenings I order food to go, anywhere from $50 to $65. The Pork Plates had a lot of fat and the Burgoo was terrible. Next Saturday I will go back to ordering Baby Back Ribs and hope for the best on the sides. MISS THE GOOD OLE DAYS !!!!! My rating reflects the overall service and food.

Bar b q is very good. This is a very busy place, so expect it to be a bit crowded. Enjoyed the food and the waitress was pleasant but very busy. Only 4 stars because on checking out I learned that this place offers no senior or military discounts. Being close to the army base this is a very bad decision. Not sure if I will dine here again in the near future.

Not sure why it has barbeque in the name. The barbeque sauce is vinegar with a few spices. The ribs were not barbeque style ribs but more like a roast. Was disappointed because we went there for barbeque. On the plus side service was good.
