This place is always busy you might wait a bit and you also might wait a bit for your food, I’ve personally never waited long but I see some posts about this issue, this is what happens when your food is by far out of this world! We are grateful to have such an amazing place to eat. You go to this place when you can enjoy your time and taste every bite. Get one of their burgers. Very juicy, filled with flavor, and piled high. Plus it's huge. The fries are excellent as well, but I was so full from the burger I couldn't enjoy them to the fullest! Fast, fun, and very friendly staff as well - Superchefs came recommended to me and I will pass on that recommendation as well.

This was our first experience with Super Chef. From the moment we walked in the experience was amazing. The hostess asked what we needed, took a look at the toddler and young child and found the perfect spot. Day came to our table immediately. She just chatted with us a minute while getting our drink order. When she brought our drinks, we still had no idea what we wanted. This smart gal suggested we get food for the kids. My husband was going to eat something boring and Day suggested the banana bread French toast saying, “It will change your life.” Oh my gosh, so delicious and he said she was right! So many more details I could share. The food is unique and delicious. I don’t know how they did it but the entire staff is friendly and professional. The assistant manager explained something on the menu then stopped back by to make sure we enjoyed it. As we left, there was at least 5-6 people who stopped by to say goodbye and wish us a good day. Definitely coming back.

The ambiance is nice but the food not so good. First I ordered a pooboy shrimp sandwich. It was a poor boy sandwich. There was exactly FOUR shrimp total on the sandwich. The bread was over cooked. The sandwich did not taste well. The special egg roll did not have any taste either. The portions did not match the price. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. :(

Where do I begin? This place is amazing! From the atmosphere to the decor and the food was delicious. We visited the Louisville location, the wait was 30-40 mins but it was definitely worth the wait. We are from Pittsburgh and often come to visit family there but had never been. I’m sure this will be our new brunch spot each time we come in town. 10 stars!

This place is great! The seafood biscuits and gravy is one of the best things I've ever eaten. The staff are the sweetest too. One of the staff said after they'd had the seafood pizza, they started working there, so I got one to go! If you haven't tried it, get there!

Way overrated. Our server was rude and terrible. I asked getting an omelette with bacon AND sausage. Which isn't on the menu for some reason. There was one that had tons of other stuff on it, so I asked which would be cheaper, to add bacon to my sausage omelette or get the one with everything just minus the stuff I don't want and she didn't know and wasn't willing to find out. My father in law (who is a diabetic) asked for normal bacon not candied bacon... He got candied bacon. Our food took over 30 minutes to come out when there was only 2 other tables there. If it wasn't for the guy cleaning tables, we would have never gotten refills due to our server never checking on us, and us having to ask him. Total was almost $50 for 3 people to eat breakfast, something I could have and should have made at home for under $10.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and family friendly. The decor is appropriate and appealing. The values and mission of the owner are refreshing and admirable. I loved watching the big screen where they show the cooking shows he was on. We will definitely return to try new meals! Highly recommend.

We loved Superchefs! The food is stellar, even the side of the potatoes were done perfectly - crispy on the outside but moist on the inside. I had the omelette with the candied bacon, the eggs were still soft and not overdone. Really high quality. Where even the good restaurants leave a lasting great impression but we don't return, the whole menu is so unique and the presentation - when we are back in town again from Indianapolis we will be back to visit to try the waffles or superpancakes!!! One note - use the bathroom at home! There are a set of shared bathrooms for a couple of storefronts and they are quite unsanitary, the foul aroma is wafting out in the hallway before you even get to the stalls.

We had a delicious brunch at this unique cafe. Octavia, our sever,was a delightful and accommodating. The GF Waffles were crispy, and nutty with several delicious way to top them. The breakfast nachos were flavorful and a fun way to start the meal. The Banana French Toast were also delicious. We will be back!

The food was original and fantastic. As the father of two boys, you can imagine how much we enjoyed it. The only recommendation I would make is to play superhero movie soundtracks instead of exclusively r&b/hip hop. I love Jodeci and The Fugees as much as anyone, but the movie soundtracks would create a vibe that matches the theme.

What a GEM! Nested in the Hylands in Louisville, KY. A chopped winner on Food Network. I had a Ali burger. Delicious with candy bacon and cheese. The fries were equally as delicious and an odd shape with light crunch. The servers were very good and helpful.

I have been here a couple of times and found it did not live up to expectations either time. Service was good plus Chef came by table and was very charming, which is the reason for the 3 stars. However, the food was very bland. The waffle was too “chewy”. The tables are crammed in way too tight. My wife and I were bumped into several times while trying to eat. I can honestly say I will probably not return.

Excellent service, excellent food. We had a 15 minute wait on a pre-Derby Saturday. Well worth the wait! Vegetarian omelet was substantial and tasty. Housemate sausage was excellent. I could swim around in their house made hash browns which are really more like country fried potatos. Go. You'll thank me!

My experience at super chefs last couple time were amazing until my last visit was not very happy the steak was supposed to certain cut it was not if your going have me pay for certain cut bring the steak whole don't cut it ill do that. What got me the most are server hand her hands all over her face and then comes with are plates did you wash your hands? Very disappointed here is your last inspection Superchefs, 1702 Bardstown Road Grade: C/80 • PHF held at 46.7 F (cooling from previous day). Voluntary disposal. • Improper storage of personal drinks. The food was great however there's not very much room to move around as the tables are too close together. After trying to call to make reservations for a party of 15 nobody would answer the phones and it took 45 minutes for them to get our seating available.

We got there and had a short wait, and once seated, waited about 10 minutes to order drinks. By this time, we were ready to order our meal as well, which we did, along with an appetizer. The waffle bites were very good, and came out relatively quickly. After about 20 minutes, we noticed that a few tables that were seated after us began receiving their food. After about 40 minutes, we asked the waiter to check on our order. He said they were plating it at that point. Then we finally received our order about 15 minutes after that. By that point, our child was not willing to sit any longer, so we got boxes and left. We were there about an hour and a half, including waiting to be seated, and didn't even eat our food there. We will not be dining here again due to the extremely slow service, regardless of how good the food is.

So......the first time I went here to eat, I was so blown away that I didn't know what to say. After my second visit I can tell you that the food is awesome. But equally important is the service, and the atmosphere. The service is second to none. Very attentive and not overbearing. The restaurant itself has a very lively and relaxed vibe. Finally, seeing the diverse population enjoying the human experience of great food is priceless. You absolutely must treat yourself to this restaurant.

A good restaurant with a great story told on their Marvel comic book-like menu. I took my grandchildren there for breakfast before the Super Regionals game and I think several folks there had the same idea. Most people there had not been served, so I was a little leary of how long the food would take! Once seated our pleasant waitress took our drink order and returned promptly to get our food order. Shortly after, everyone's food began to come out table by table, I don't remember the waitress name but she was the only one working the whole restaurant! The kids ordered from the children's selection bacon eggs and pancake or the specialty waffle. Both ordered a specialty waffle, which adds an upcharge, to go with their meal. I had a croissant with Candied bacon (their specialty), eggs and cheese. The wait wasn't too long for our food and let me tell you!!! Delicious! You never know what you get with eggs but these eggs were on par! My 9 yr old granddaughter ate all of hers along with her triple strawberry waffle and said that it was very good! My grandson is more picky so he picked, but i tasted his cinnamon waffle...yummy...if you love cinnamon! My croissant melted in my mouth with flavor...a little crisp..butter..honey...perfect! Oh and the hash-browned potatoes! Crisp and warm right from the skillet! Definitely a return visit for lunch and dinner!

Many flavorful dishes to choose from. Love the superhero theme and decor. Although the food is palatable and service friendly, be prepared to wait. Our waitress was terrific, an obvious professional. However, the hostess seemed easily confused when we needed a table for 6. She also arranged our table too close to the tables against the wall for serving staff to pass by easily.

Octavia our waitress/server was the best I’ve experienced in service in years. Her smile is a reflection of just how beautiful her soul is. The food atmosphere and kindness of everyone there felt as if I were at a family reunion. I had the Seafood and biscuits and gravy, wife had the amazing French toast and the bacon. I have heard a lot about Superchefs before actually visiting but I was surprised that it was better than I was told. I had the Bron Bron burger and my wife had the shrimp grits. The burger was HUGE but very good. Have never really been a fan of grits before but must admit that the shrimp grits were wonderful, tried to eat my wife's whole bowl. Will be back. Keep up the good work!

We went there for a Sunday brunch. Waited 2 hours to be seated and another hour for someone to take our order. When we finally got our food (another hour) most of it was cold, under cooked, or over cooked and we didn’t receive the food we had ordered. If I could give it a zero I would. I highly do not recommend eating there ever.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food! This super hero-themed restaurant was one of my favorite dining experiences. Open for breakfast and lunch, you’ll find beautiful creations that present well and are very filling. In the mood for a variety, our family ordered an appetizer and the Wakanda platter shown in the photos with sides of candied bacon and potatoes as well as chicken & waffles and were not disappointed. Being a foodie, it was fun watching the reactions of other patrons taste their meals and comment how good their food was as well. Way to go Chef Ferguson!

Visited this place while in town for work. Ordered the Candy’d Bacon Croissant w/ Turkey Bacon. A little bummed we weren’t advised of them being out of pretzel croissants before submitting our order because if so, I would’ve tried the Shrimp and Roasted Pepper Grits. BUT the food was still AMAZING! The atmosphere, music, and customer service made the experience even better! MUST TRY!

I ordered food to-go. They have to take your credit card only payment over the phone. I arrived to the restaurant, waited a few minutes for a waiter to talk to me so I could get my receipt. After getting the receipt, other servers were clocking out and leaving. I then waited 10 minutes for someone to take my money. So my food got cold, everything was tough. The waffles and pancakes were really tough and dry, and the wings, candied bacon, and sausage patty were a bit oily. So I'm guessing none of it was cooked fresh and it was all just under a warmer bc it was not good. I unfortunately spent $40 on nasty carry-out, and We won't come back.

Superchefs fell below my expectations...The food was great but the service was WAY off. Crazy wait times... couldn't get refills for our drinks etc...The last straw was when our lacking server brought my friend the wrong order. He ordered a chicken sandwich but was served chicken and waffles. I ordered the Superchefs Omlette... It was delicious. Just not a memorable or great experience. It will be a minute before I return.

This is the ONLY place to eat breakfast. The food is amazing, fresh and so original. We love the waffle donuts, eggs Benedict, the candied bacon, and the Bloody Mary's. The staff is so friendly and makes it a even better experience. GO!

The food and the service was amazing. Really nice staff. The only reason why I gave four stars was the floor. It looked as though they had taken the grease from the kitchen and mopped it all over the floor. Me and a server almost fell on it. The trash up front was bad, too. Other than that, amazing.

The staff was really nice and helpful. I got the original french toast with fresh fruit and eggs on the side it was excellent! I will return to try some of the other dishes. Great atmosphere too.

It was ok. We ordered the sliders and opted not to get the salad that came with it. The burger itself had a really good taste to it and I heard the candied bacon was good (cant say on that dont eat bacon) prices were resonable and the staff was friendly and helpful. If I do go back I will try some of the breakfast menu. But wasnt that impressed with the sliders served on thick slices of fried potato

My family and I stopped in for a quick bite after a morning outing and we absolutely loved it! The three things that stood out the most for us were: 1. Superhero themed decor and employee shirts (heck I want one for myself). 2. The absolutely delicious food (try the Lobster BLT , you won't regret it). 3. Superchef menu featuring not only the tasty food selections but detailing the owner's testimony and journey he has been through to get to where he is today. My family will definitely be back in the near future to experience more of delectable selections showcased by a great chef with a bright future.

I would highly recommend this place! Food was fantastic but there was quite a wait for it, so I wouldn't recommend stopping in for a quick bite but for a sit down it was fantastic! I had the Spider-Man Superdilla which was huge! Made of Pulled Pork, Webbed Carmilized Onions, Melted Cheese, and this fantastic barbeque sauce!

Breakfast will put you in a sugar coma after 2 bites. The menu options are incredible and make it hard to choose, even with the combination platter options. The cinnamon toast crunch waffles and scorpion super scriddle definitely live up to their descriptions. I will definitely be returning to try out more options in the future.

I cannot get over how awesome this food was! I had The Juggernaut, which is marked for Weight Gain. Not as large as I would’ve imagined, but I still couldn’t finish it all! The fried chicken would have been good by itself, but paired with the egg, bacon, and waffle it was unstoppable. Truly an amazing meal. Some places have a cool theme and atmosphere. Other places have a good food. This place has both! A must stop if you’re a local or passing through.

It might be a good place to eat but wouldn't know. Waited in line for an hour and never got sat. I know it was a Sunday afternoon but this place needs to figure out how to seat their guest, get them fed, and get them out as quickly as possible and tell the campers there's a lounge bar down the road if they want to hangout and talk. Just saying.

The food is so good!!! We were seated in the lounge after a not too long wait and we were pretty quickly served drinks. The service was great. They did everything they could to give us a good experience and were checking in with us frequently. The food was on point. We both got the candied bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and it is by far the most substantial bacon based sandwich with the candied bacon adding just the right amount of sweetness. They even opened the front wall and it was a great experience overall. Thank you Superchef's!!

Best breakfast in the area hands down. Actually, be warned: eating here is gonna make every other breakfast you have pale in comparison. Service is off the charts with accommodating,friendly, and swift attention. Menu is too notch with quality, variety, creativity, portions.

Their Vegan burger is the bomb, I tried the salad and fries both are great. Their waffles are delicious, and the seafood pizza is worth the try.
