Very lively and hip scene and great place to go if you're looking for a crowd. I got shoved in the restroom by a gal and her friends while in the line to use the restroom for no apparent reason but that doesn't reflect on my opinion of the bar but rather the immaturity levels of some of those that attend.

A definite hot spot for me. I can't get enough of the crafted cocktails made by Zaddy Zack and the food is amazing. You have Cheniqua to thank . I love this place and wil forever remain loyal

The mushroom burger was good as well as the fries. I think it’s a bit overpriced but the burgers are a decent size.

Very bad. We waited over 1.5 hours and never got our food. The server/manager cancelled our order and brought our bills for our drinks. We we're shocked that we were still expected to pay for our pops and few beers after being strung along for so long, being told.our food was on its way. Do not go here if you are hungry and want to eat.

This was absoulety the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. When we arrived we were the only people there. It was the middle of the week and kinda late so we thought it would be fairly quick. I should have taken it as a sign on how bad it was. We ordered the loaded tater tots appetizer, which was okay. The server could not answer our questions about the menu nor did she bother to check on us while we waited over 40 mins for out entrees to be brought to us. We watched her stand inside at the bar. Our entrees finally came out, and we could tell they had been sitting in a heat window. The buns were hard, the fried chicken and fried fish were both soggy, as were the fries. I had requested the sauce for my sandwich to be on the side but it was left out completely. I asked the server to bring it and refill our waters. She responded with a "yeah sure" then proceeded to go back inside to stand at the bar and converse with co-workers. After sitting for another five minutes while we watched three employees stand at the bar and chat, we decided it was our time to leave. We went inside, where we waited another few minutes before being attended to. We paid for our appetizer and left. Sorely disappointed.

The food was undercooked and David the owner I guess was very rude about it all. He blamed it on management changes if that's even a thing and charged us full price for food we didn't eat. I'd stay away from this place! Very unsatisfying and uncomfortable. They think because they're a hipster place in the highlands their food is worth the rediculous price. Maybe cook it!

Nice place, more of a hipster type establishment, which really isn't my thing. Food was good, but overpriced. Nothing really special.

Extremely over priced food, drinks are watered down. snobby atmosphere. Hipster place, too many other good options to deal with this kind of attitude. Manager was rude, and could care less

Amazing! I had the steak and my wife had the buttermilk chicken, I couldn't decide which one I liked better. We also had the apple cobbler for dessert, seriously so good.

I've only been for brunch, but it has been good. Be careful for changing menu, though; croissants now seem over-priced (and singular), w/o maple butter. $2 mimosas on Sundays. Can reserve tables on opentable, but they have their own app, too.

I remember eating here when this place first opened and the food was phenomenal! I was really impressed and so were my friends. I don’t know what happened but since then the food quality has really gone downhill. Everything tastes and looks like it’s just frozen food that’s being reheated. It’s a far cry from what this place was when it first opened. Everything about this place just feels like no one cares about it. There’s no love in the food, none of the employees seem happy to be there. Don’t waste your time or money here. You can get frozen food at Kroger and make it at home and avoid paying outrageous prices. When this place was new I really thought it was going to be a stand out Louisville restaurant, boy was I wrong.

Went here for some drinks, bartenders were very rude and bogus.

The customer is always right, correct? Well clearly thats not the case here. My friends and i ordered a pitcher of Mimosa and noticed all the orange juice settled to the bottom. So we asked the MANAGER if we could have something to stir it or atleast could he just pour it in a diffefent pitcher so it could mix a little. Well he argued with us that Mimosas are not supposed to be mixed. He then took the pitcher and shook it and returned it with less liquor in it. We had half a pitcher upon his return. His tone of voice was highly inappropriate and disrespectful. Will not be returning anytime soon if he is still in management.

Had dinner there the other night and i have to say by far best food I've had off Bardstown rd. The cocktail i had was called their will be blood was perfect my appetizer was fried green tomatoes so delicious and my entree was buttermilk chicken with garlic smashed potatoes and green was so good I almost licked my plate. Then the owner sent me a complimentary desert of berry cobbler with chocolate ice cream....just perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I understand that a seemingly empty restaurant can be full for later reservations, but seriously not accommodating customers and acting as if a Monday at 2pm is a ridiculous time without a reservation is just rude. Rude staff. Sat at a cramped bar to order food. Bartender wasn't interested in refilling a glass of water since it wasn't worth his time. Overpriced so-so food. When our group left the restaurant was still completely empty. Hey Dave's, work on your staffs attitude. Will not return.
