I’ve lived in Lexington for about 3 weeks now as I have visited before. This is the best food I’ve had! We ordered an appetizer that was queso chicken with tortilla chips which was amazing! Then I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with tator tots as my girlfriend had a fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes & green beans. She said that was the best home cooked like meals she’s had!

Great food. Good atmosphere. Buffalo chicken dip is so good it should be illegal! Giving a low rating because the server. Was very rude and never came back with my change. Kept it as her tip I suppose.

Spent St. Patrick's day here. Corned beef was very good. Potatoe salad was the best I ever had. Girl going around with a bucket of jello shots was nice touch for a party atmosphere. Watch her though. She Short changed us. Lets just say acting is clearly not in her future.

Shamrocks is a great place for multiple occasions. The staff is always incredible and accommodating. They have live music from time to time on the weekends which is really enjoyable. Their draught list is great to choose from and their shareables are to die for. Definitely recommend this place for a get together, date, or family event.

Good selection of beer on tap, but was completely overshadowed by the dismal bone-in wings. Wings were dry (almost like jerky), crispy to the point of hardness, chewy, and the flavored (as opposed to dry rub) wings were simply slathered in sauce after being overcooked. Service was good on a slow Tuesday evening.

Been going here for 30 years and never disappointed. Great food, great service, great beer selection...adversarial new management. ADDENDUM: In response to my initial 5-star review, management took the time to dispute my 30-years of support claim stating that they had not been there that long. I stand by my claim as I patronized the Lynaugh's campus location in the early 80's while attending college as well as the Z-Sub Pub that occupied the Lynaugh's Irish Shamrock Patchen Drive location before. So be it the restaurant or the location, its 30 years plus either way.

This place has incredible food!! The burgers are AWESOME and the sides are killer!!! Our waitress Toni was superb she made sure we didn't want or wait for nothing!!! Highly recommend this place for the food; no one in my family drinks so we can advise on the beverage selection.

It's definitely a great place to go. If you want to just go to eat their great food, be prepared to wait a bit if it's crowded. If you want to go drink, it's a great place to go regardless. They have trivia and it is always packed on those nights. I personally love their food and go for that. It looks unwelcoming from the outside but it is a great bar.

If you have not experienced the brunch menu at Shamrock, you are missing out. So many great items to mention. My go to is either the Traditional or the French Toast! Available Saturday and Sunday only until about 2ish. So good!

My husband and I live close by and we always walk or drive the short distance to Shamrocks for a drink and some pub grub. We also frequently watch UK games here. We've come to know some of the staff, and everyone is always friendly and willing to help their customers. After 8pm, the atmosphere does switch from a family atmosphere to just a bar. I wouldn't recommend bringing your children here for a late dinner, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. Overall, this is one of the nicer pubs I've visited and I really enjoy being on a first name basis with some of the staff.

Got the roast beef and an order of wings this time and really just dropped my appreciation for the place. Wings came out as boneless instead of traditional. Roast beef was bland, tasted like it was taken out of a freezer and microwaved. Bread had no consistency against the "dip". And the dip was watered down, really had no flavor to it at all and added nothing to the sandwich. Not at all what I expected. Might want to stick to the burger and wings at this place.

The food was amazing! Can't go wrong with any choice. We were on a road trip and found it randomly on the way home and was not disappointed. Staff was very nice and accommodating for large groups. The beer cheese and pub sticks and the fried mushrooms were killer appetizers.

This place is amazing! I have lived her for a few years and then happened to find this place listed. I thought it would be ok at best but I was surprised by the food quality and flavor. The place looks like a little hole in the wall but they wow you with food quality. The burgers have actual flavor and you can see the slices on the patty. Their Guinness beer cheese is amazing and one of my favorites. Their fish is also great with excellent flavor for being so far from the coast. We have tried several items from them and so far have not been disappointed at all. They also have live music and a nice little patio to sit outside if you choose. Very highly recommend!

Great local place to watch the game - great value both on food and booze. On big days though, make sure you arrive early so that you aren't left without a seat once they all fill up!

Omg, they served me what was quite possibly THE BEST burger I've had in my life. Everything about it was absolutely perfect. It was pretty big and I got full before I could finish it but I didn't want to stop eating it, but I HAD to because my stomach was starting to hurt! I even had to call the restaurant afterward and tell them how awesome it was.

Shamrocks is the bomb. Killer beer choices, and their burgers are legit. Not too expensive either. Parking can be an issue, you have to park on the street.

Good lil pub nestled into the middle of patchen village. Recent price hikes have put this once loved burger joint on the poor value list for any future visits. Today I paid $17.95 for a club sandwich with fries (+$2) and an iced tea, including a 20% tip (bc I'm not an a-hole). That's robbery folks. For that money, I can eat ANYWHERE else in town (including Harry's) and in the future our office will exercise that option!

Between myself , my family - lots of teenagers etc , and my office we order food delivery a lot . I don’t write a lot of reviews but I just received a large order from Shamrocks... lot of variety and lot of little sauces etc .... long story short ... was the absolute BEST experience I ever had . No joke . Every thing was 1. Incredibly awesome and tasty but it was 2. Delivered timely 3. Every last item was included in the order 4. Every box was marked w exactly what it was , what the sauces were for etc . 5. There were plenty of napkins 6. I called to talk to manager (Dave I think) ... and unlike a lot of places he came to the phone in like 10 secs to see what I needed and was super friendly . Maybe I seem a little too excited about a Togo order but those of you who know how many places neglect the quality or leave things out or just generally don’t care ..... I was just blown away and felt the need to share . Shamrocks literally is the best in my opinion !

This was my second time having dinner at Shamrock when visiting Lexington. The first time, I ordered them with UberEats. When my co-worker and I had to meet here and get a late dinner, I suggested this since I loved the potato skins and pretzels. We got the potato skin appetizer. I am trying to figure out how they were prepared as the skin part was the perfect consistency of crispy while the skin was soft. I also loved the thick-cuts of bacon on this skin. For the dinner, I had a BLT-A with onion rings. While the sandwich was phenomenal, I couldn't finish it as the portion was large and the onion rings had a delicious batter on them. I forgot what my co-worker ordered but when she called to make sure I got home safe, she told me that she couldn't wait to go back to Shamrock again! It was overall delicious!
