Here you will see the opinions of people like you who know the products of Panda Cuisine (Restaurant) around Kentucky area.
To this day the firm gets a rating of 4.3 out of 5 and this score is based on 275 reviews.
As you can see its rating is quite positive, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can conclude that the score is very credible. If people have bothered to leave their opinion when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Asian restaurant.
The bar is VERY LIMITED and offered no fried rice. The soup from the bar wasn’t good according to my wife. After viewing the bar decided to order off the menu. Ordered sesame chicken and it was so hard that I could not eat it. They reduced my bill of the sesame chicken by 50% but I will still have to go to another restaurant to eat as I still haven’t been able to find anything eatable. However the sweet tea was good but this restaurant is marked off to ever return. A bad experience.
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Lexington. This is the one that the Chinese people go to, with an upscale space and an uncompromisingly fantastic menu. There is a range of flavors from the unquestionably familiar to everyone who has had American Chinese food, to the traditional Chinese flavors less familiar to westerners, but all outstandingly delicious.
This is the best place to get actual Chinese food in the Lexington area and I would argue in all of Kentucky. They have a delicious lunch buffet and so many of the dishes off the menu are absolutely amazing! Overall, I would definitely recommend coming in for lunch or dinner!
Came here on the way to the Lexington Airport and we were pleasantly surprised! It was a buffet on Sunday morning and I'm always weary of Chinese buffets. But boy did they surprised me! Fantastic food. Garlic Eggplant and their Pork BBQ buns are two of our favorites from the buffet. I appreciate the authenticity of the food versus just having orange chicken and bad lo mein that many buffets have. Would definitely come back here when in Lexington again!
This is real Chinese food. Not a 'Wok n Go, or All You can Eat' but New York City China Town or Shanghai. The menu has items that you won't find anywhere else in the Lexington area and some dishes that are prepared American style and Chinese style. There is a difference so ask if you aren't sure.. Don't be surprised if the majority of the people you see there are Chinese.
This is the best Asian place in Lexington for sure. The buffet on sundays is out of this world!
Most authentic Chinese food I have had so far in Lexington.
Most of our group lunch or dinner is at Panda cuisine. I like the soup and seafood dishes they offer. Their service is good but during busy hours it takes time to get things. I recommend this place if you like Chinese food. We always place the order in advance to save time.
Sunday buffet is NOT recommended. They charge ~$16 for the buffet and give you little options to eat. I am from Arizona, and with the same amount of money the Chinese restaurants in Phoenix provide a lot more items than this place. Buffet items here are not tasty. Not only that, the waitresses are not professional. They will push you for giving more tips. Cheap mentality, but pricey restaurant. Doesn't worth.
Great food if you order off the menu! Recommend the panda chicken. The regular buffet spread is uninspired and the weekend dim sum buffet is lacking. If you're really craving dim sum the shumai and steamed pork buns are okay. Other dishes on the Sunday buffet were unique.
I got my food quick & it was hot & delicious! I will definitely be ordering from them again
Wonderful service and unbelievable Chinese food. I recommend lo mein and kung pao tofu and especially the steamed pork dumplings
i really love this restaurant and it taste great. But almost everytime i go in there they always include a 15-18% tip in my check! Some of their waiters are terrible, and they then expect me to give them another tip. What is this?!
These new comings are so good!
Excellent authentic Chinese food. I expected this to be like Panda Express but it's DIFFERENT! Very high quality food, flavorful meat and fresh vegetables. The buffet is pretty good, but I recommend the pork hot pot! Very delicious and filling. I'll be going back!
Very good restaurant with authentic Chinese food. They give discounts to Chinese people. Not sure what to think about that?
This place is great. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I'm not a big buffet fan and found theirs decent. Everything I've had on the menu is incredible. I normally would never post a review anywhere, but it is good enough for me to feel compelled to give them credit. Delicious.
I'm from Cincinnati and I've been all over the country and tried Chinese cuisine in Chinatown all over. This place is absolute best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to.
Very good food. Very traditional. A lot of different types of seafood....beef tongue was good but some dishes we're culturally strange but all was good.
Just wow. The food is so good. So authentic.
Good food. Service was fast. Just to clarify one thing that isn't obvious looking up other reviews and basic info, the buffet is only on weekends until 3pm.
I definitely approve
found the Sichuan cuisine to be very delicious. it's refreshing to find a Chinese restaurant that hasn't "Americanized" it's food. the most authentic Chinese restaurant I've been to outside the borders of PRC.
There no food and really high price I payed 20$ for one person and I feel really sick after IM NEVER COMING BACK THERE it's NASTY. Online it said there will be sushi and other Sea foods. And the dishes are not sanitized and forks are not washed good
Everything was wonderful! Our new favorite place!
Comeback 18 years later, still very good food and service!
Authentic Chinese food. The roasted rib with Taro is good.
Good cuisine.
Whoever it was that waited on us(actually who DIDN'T wait on us) seemed offended that we ordered so little she had to ask while making a face.. After that never coming back to our table to give us refills.. The food was definitely different than other Chinese places maybe more authentic? But it was very salty but seemed to be good quality food if you like salty.. And if you like rude waiters it's $15 per buffet or $12.95 for fried rice.. At least be friendly for that price..
Great szechuan Chinese food. They have great on and off menu items if you ask. If you have a big group you can eat here "family style" with large portions to share.
This place has authentic food and I love it ^_^
Authentic Chinese food. Great buffet on Saturday at good prices!
Being a vegetarian, I ordered a noodle dish with vegetable, they brought me a noodle dish with pork. I asked them to take it back and bring me the correct one. Sure enough, they came back with a vegetable one, but when I started eating, I noticed little pieces of meat in it. When confronted, they admitted that they had taken the meat out of the one they served me first and added vegetables to it!! I could not believe it! That's it for me. Even though I was a good customer, i would never go back there.
Delicious food! Prices a bit higher than I'd prefer but definitely worth it!
The food comes out excellent but the service could be better. If you go, I recommend the general tso chicken, walnut shrimp, and garlic green beans for some veggies.
Decent options for vegetarians. Sichuan flavor is unique and tastes great but very greasy. At over $12 a person for the buffet, it is not worth the price unless you eat meat and seafood.
My absolute favorite chinese cuisine in Lex
Panda Cuisine is not Panda Express.
As always, Panda Garden is the go to Asian restaurant of my family's chioce.. decent food and friendly service.. The only grap we have is that they started charging you $1 for table cloth, and we thought this is something that the restaurant provide as part of amenities like chair, silverware and condiments...
Best spot in town for Chinese food, dine-in or take-out. They specialize in Sichuan dishes, and Panda's Fish Delight (my personal favorite) will light you up--so spicy!--so delicious!
Consistently top quality. Wish they had buffet every day.
The food is good so is the service. Good for large groups.
One of the best Chinese place in Lexington. Food is really good. They have a great lunch buffet. They also deliver. It's you are there you should try there duck roast.
Best Chinese restaurant in Lexington even in Kentucky!!!!!
Food was decent. The portions were large.
Delicious! Great buffet with several authentic choices.
This place is great. Evening is fresh and very tasty. I enjoyed the whole experience.
Some of the most authentic Szechuan in Lexington. Very good if you like your Chinese food on the spicer side. Great service and friendly atmosphere.
My wifes fav place to get some amazing vegan sweet and sour tofu. We love it
Very good
This is the only Chinese restaurant I now use; and refer my patients to for herbal meals. The Mongolian Beef is literally the best Chinese dish I have ever had and I've been to 5 Chinatowns and all throughout Southern California. The prices are - trust me - fantastic for being authentic cuisine. Plus they have KY Ale Bourbon Barrel! On Sunday is Dim Sum. And you can order a family dinner for under $20, I mean it's unreal. Do not go to Panda Express that is a travesty. I study Chinese culture, medicine, marital arts, and language and you can take my word for it. If there is any language barrier issues, ask for Grace and tell them the acupuncturist sent you. Peace.
The best time to go here is Sunday around noon, that’s when they have the lunch buffet. Much cheaper and more choices.
very good.
If been eating here since they were on the north side of town and went by the name Panda Garden. Some of the employees are the same. Very nice people and the food is always the best!
Unique menu and delicious flavorful food. Tasted delicious and everything was seasoned perfectly! Will definitely be back!
Mongolian beef is good, but salty. Chestnut chicken is very salty. Also, order chicken with bones, because alternative without bones has a lot of small sharp bones. Salty.
It’s a real deal authentic Chinese food place (really hard to find). They have a “normal lame American” menu - but ask for or use the “specials” menu and you get the real thing.
Very authentic good Chinese food!
Great food, great atmosphere.
One of my favorite places to eat when I visit Lexington.
They have authentic Chinese menu. This was pleasant fine.
Authentic Chinese. Delicious! And nice and spicy.
Best authentic Chinese in Kentucky
Yummy Chinese food. Wish it were spicier.
1st they have American Chinese buffet food which is not real Chinese food. Sushi is from Japan y'all two different countries who very much have two different cultures. The so called Chinese food which is really American Chinese food on the Buffet is best I've had in Lexington. They also have very real Chinese dishes that you can order to eat real Chinese food for yourself or with your Chinese friends. They have always been very nice to myself, wife and our friends. I have been to China myself and ate real Chinese food. Also my wife is from China, so when she says it's good Chinese food then it's good Chinese food. :)
The service is really bad. Went in for a buffet lunch recently. Every time i had to call the waitress in order to have the empty plate removed. Waitress came over with disgruntled look. Come on, you get paid for your service. It is your job, not something you do a favor for me for free.
This food is a absolutely amazing. I was invited by Chinese friends, along with friends who have traveled to China. If you have been eating "Americanized" Chinese food your whole life, then you are missing out. I've been twice: once for the afternoon buffet and one for sit-down dining. Both experiences were excellent. The food is full of flavor and it even is good to look at. Don't be hesitant about trying something new. You will be amazed at what you've been missing and you won't be "hungry an hour later." I'm less hesitant to make a trip overseas now if this style of cooking is waiting for me over there.
Great Chinese restaurant and food. The service is amazing and they have different foods on the menu you will not find at your fast food Chinese restaurants. We love this place.
This has some of the best Szechwan food I have ever had. The food is authentic- the right spices and flavors - and always delicious. Service is quick and it’s great value for money. It doesn’t have great decor but I go only for the food. One of Lexington’s hidden gems
Great Chinese food
Great Chinese Restaurant offering Sichuan cruises.
The best Chinese restaurant in town, and one of the best I have eaten at in the US! The food is always delicious, fresh to order, and you have many authentic options, as well as some Americanized options like General Tsos chicken. The portions are much better than PF changs, and you never have to wait around an hour to get seated. Love this place.
Genuine food. Very delicious and legitimate. If you want some real Chinese food. Come here
Good food when you want Chinese
I don't always post reviews or anything simply because I hardly see the point, but it's impossible not to. The food was amazing and authentic, the people were remarkable and kind. Absolutely an amazing experience!
If you want spicy, Chinese food . They have tripe , trotters , tendons and chicken feet .
Authentic Chinese food, great selection, fast efficient service.
Local chinese people eat here. Its the best !
very good and very natural Chinese food!
I go here regularly. There's a lot of options. I enjoy the veggie dishes a lot. You will likely never have better Chinese food.
The service is terrible! You have to wait for a long time to get your drink refill. Food is mediocre. No atmosphere at all. They also "Force you" to pay the amount of tips by choosing the percentage for you and including the tips in your bill.
Food was okay but poor service and the didn't refill the food even at buffet time totally unhappy
Hands down the best, most authentic Chinese food I've had (outside of my trip to China). Very extensive menu. So extensive it is almost overwhelming. The picture menu helps. The menu descriptions are somewhat hard to follow (broken English). But that's part of what makes this restaurant so great! Try the fire pots! This place will satisfy the most adventurous eater. Some items on the menu may scare away American diners, but everything I've dared to try is delicious! This is gourmet, Iron Chef-type Chinese food. Very large portions made for sharing. This is an elegant restaurant, not to be confused with the similarly named fast food chain "Panda Express" which ironically is located across the street from Panda Cuisine. Luckily, the amazing food makes up for the spotty service. For spice lovers this place can bring the heat! Try chicken with hot peppers, five flavor fish, fish hot pot, beef hot pot with cabbage. Inside this restaurant, Americans may feel like they are dining in a foreign country, which is a compliment! This place is the real deal. Absolutely authentic. A must try!
Good food and service
Our favorite authentic Chinese restaurant in Lexington. We order an average 5 - 7 dishes for a party of four, and the experience is always fantastic. The special buffet spread/selection during holidays are a must!
Wow, Just Wow! I spent two months in China in 2000, and have traveled the world extensively. If I stay anyplace for longer than a couple of days, I will eventually get around to trying their local Chinese restaurants. Yes, its my favorite food! To get to the point, I have been to many Chinatown's throughout the world: London, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and Mexico City. My point in providing the history is to emphasize that I have eaten alot of Chinese food from practically everywhere! I am simply blown away how great Panda Cuisines food is! Better food than alot the places I mentioned. Wow, I can't believe that I can eat these authentic Chinese dishes here in Central Kentucky! Honestly, I had never even heard of Panda Cuisine until a few days ago, and I am so glad to have found this place, I plan to be a regular customer from now on. Go here and enjoy their amazing food.
Excellently prepared Chinese cuisine with a great variety of choices. Very good service as well.
They have great service and have delicious food and have a great buffet on Sundays
Typical Chinese diner in a nondescript mall. Very good Sichuan food, and prompt service. Only negative was dirty bowls and dishes, old rice stuck to them. Not a health hazard, but they need to pay more attention to this. Don't let this put you off however as it is very authentic. Definitely go with the specials.
Awesome buffet! I'm looking forward to ordering off the menu next visit.
Quite literally the best Chinese food in Lexington. The food is unbelievably inexpensive. The staff is friendly, and the food is beyond expectation. We go here for our anniversary every year, and we will definitely be back again. If you want an authentic Chinese sit down dinner, this is the place. You will be happy you stopped by. Try the Kung Pao Tofu. It's perfect.
Somewhat erratic but still very friendly service. Really fantastic food.
Excellent, authentic, worth it! Plenty of vegetarian options. I recommend the kung pao tofu.
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Ky. Large selection to chose from, but a little pricey. Authentic dishes, bar service, weekend buffets
These place I'd so so good loved it
$91 for unstocked, old, dry food on the buffet. Would not recommend.
II've been to a tonne of Chinese restaurants in my life and Panda is hands down the best I've ever been to. Quality ingredients, cooked with great skill, served warm, not too greasy. Service was fast and friendly during weekday lunch. Also great vegan/vegetarian options
Their hours online state that they are open until 11pm when apparently they are not because I stopped by 10:15pm & an employee informed me that they closed at 9:30pm. Disappointed.
I would give them -5 if that’s an option! I was in the middle of eating and this woman who’s either the manager or owner came and told us that we should leave if we are done! My friend was still eating! WORST service ever! Who the hell does this to their customers! WORST experience WORST Money spent!!!
probably the most authentic Sichuan cooking you'll find in lexington. not a big fan of the buffet, but ordering from the menu has always been good. favorites include the spicy lamb or beef, ma po tofu, spicy cold sichaun noodles, fried bean curd and pork, the hot pot. tons to choose from. i suggest going with a big group and getting lots of items to share.
The best Sichuan, and general Chinese, food in the city.
The staff here are all great people!! Very sweat and caring. The service is superb.
Rude staff, food was awful! Never again will we go to this establishment! I’m sorry to even give it ONE star!!!
We are disappointed. We are regulars with them because we like their food. This time we went with more people, a group of 6. Their 6 seater was small and so we requested to sit on an 8 seater table. They said it was reserved for dinner menu and not lunch menu. We switched our preferences to dinner menu and then they added that we will have to pay around 18% of our bill to compensate for the empty chairs. I have never heard anything like this before. They have atleast 5 big tables vacant..no customers and yet they are willing to loose business because we refuse to pay for the extra chairs?? Also, what does it say about the customer service who first gave only half of the information that we just need to choose from dinner menu and then later added more charges to it. Appalling customer service and no business sense. Very disappointed
We went here today and I was just not impressed. It does have both authentic and Americanized chinese food in the buffet. But there were bones in the nonbreaded meats, the breaded and fried meats were way overcooked, and vegetables were overcooked to the point of mushy. The only redeeming things were the egg rolls, dumplings, and tofu in brown sauce. Everything else was underwhelming.
No service at all. Food was cold. I went on Saturday, which is traditional food day. I get that Chinese food is traditionally very separate from western food, but it should still taste good. The sea food smelled awful! I was afraid to eat it. Even the fried rice was hard and bland. And to top it all off, one meal is $15. Just aweful
Very reliable and a favorite place for dinner when looking for Chinese.
I have several Chinese friends through school--many of them have remarked how this is the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Lexington.
I have never been disappointed by anything on the menu here. Best Chinese food in Lexington!
The people are super friendly and the foods are amazing!! If you like Chinese foods then you have to try this place!! Best Chinese beside what my dad cooks at home.
I figured since it’s a small place in a small shopping center it would be just another Chinese place but I was very wrong. It looks very fancy/upscale. Pricing is reasonable. I get chicken and broccoli every Chinese place I go but I decided to try something different. I am very picky (I think I made them sad by not eating the egg roll) but I decided to try the sesame chicken and it was so good. Beautiful food and beautiful restaurant. Good service, they were there when I need them without being annoying. If you’ve passed by but never went in, I highly recommend it!!
Our Chinese restaurant of choice in Lexington. We especially like the weekend buffets which contain a larger variety than usual. Even more, we love the Sunday buffet which adds a row of dim sum items. I haven't enjoyed dim sum so much since I lived in Los Angeles.
Food is great here, staff isnt always friendly
If you've never had great Asian food, you'd probably find the food here pretty good. There's nothing wrong with it as far as Asian fast food goes.
Excellent food and the staff was great. Food was ready fast.
This is a great place to get authentic Chinese food, it isn't too expensive and the staff is prompt and attentive. Food quality is top notch and consistent. And the restaurant has a nice, relaxed, atmosphere.
I made my own menu
We went here because they advertise as all you can eat buffet, however when we got there they said their buffets were broken. Not sure if that’s something recent or an ongoing issue.
Good food, good service.
A super great place very clean the food is superb and plenty of it..I rate this place A top A Plus
Its a good place to stop for a quick bite, fair pricing.
Their General Tso's chicken is horrible! It has red and green peppers and an odd texture to the breading. The only part I could eat was the white rice......
Not your average Chinese restaurant! Much more authentic and adventurous-- you can get the General Tso's you're used to, but you can also get pig ears and chicken feet and all kinds of fun stuff you haven't tried before. Some of the most genuinely friendly servers I've met. Even after just a couple of visits, you'll feel like family. The Sunday lunch buffet is probably the most adventurous buffet that most Kentuckians will ever experience. You have to try this place!
It is the only authentic Chinese food on Lexington, come Saturday for a spicy buffet and Sunday for Dim Sum both are fantastic. Try a little of everything and you find you love pig tongue.
Best Chinese in Lexington
Always awesome to eat here. Service is friendly and fast. The food is delicious and hot.
Most authentic Chinese in Lexington, always excellent food and service.
