This Restaurant belongs to the category of Indian restaurant.
The Food Is On Point, very Flavorful and The Staff Kind.. I loved the Different Selections at the Buffet!
Happened across this place by pure chance. It's hidden behind three hotels, a shopping center, and a troll under the bridge. Service is pretty great, and it's been pretty empty every time I've been there since. Don't miss out on the curry!
Absolutely wonderful! Great service and even better food.
Always good stuff. Reasonable prices. Not too many other places to eat goat...
Very helpful staff. Great cuisine, very authentic. Excellent cook!
Food was taste
Delicious food. Will definently go again!
Delicious Indian cuisine! I look forward to going back soon!!
The crew is really friendly, so I feel bad about a two start rating, but it's not good Indian food, and I love Indian food.
It's pretty much meh.
Really a place you don’t want to eat at every week. No change in the menu
Great food, fair prices, easy parking
Exceptionally friendly. Very helpful to my family that weren't familiar with Indian food. I'm vegan and they were especially helpful to make sure they could provide food for me.
Really good authentic indian dishes good price only downside is it could be spicer love this place though
On a few occasions I have eaten at this restaurant at this new location off Ring Road and Dixie and at the old location off the I-65 at exit 94 (Executive Drive?). Every time I go I am floored at the staff and how wonderful they are. Always attentive, greeting patrons as they enter and watching to make sure they are filling empty glasses, taking care of your every need. Food is absolutely delicious. If you don't know what you want, they can help find something that will surely please your palate. A must stop when out for a drive or to feed that hunger. Vegan or not they can appease any appetite. Do try this establishment, again and again!
Love the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken
Great food but the service was a bit slow. The location wasn't overly crowded at the time but it took forever to get the attention of any staff whenever we needed something. *update* - It's been a long time since I'd written my previous review and decided to give Namaste another try. The service was absolutely incredible this time, friendly and attentive. The food was still great as it was last time. Because of these improvements I'm changing my rating to reflect the more recent experience.
Great personal service and food.
Lean wonderful great food great service. Higher on prices... but you get what you pay for. Loved it. Hat tomato soup.... omg.. insane. .. and lamb.
Great food with truly indian taste and great beer selection.
Food and service is great. Just a little overpriced.
My boyfriend and I LOVE this place. It's one of our "things" we get giddy about. He loooves the lamb from here, their lamb chops. He's had several different meat dishes, I've had some bites of his dishes and they're all amazing.. The lamb, goat etc. I LOVE their gobi lasooni (drool) - it's a MUST for everyone but especially vegans and vegetarians. Their kulcha is always yummy. Their crab cake dish is really delish too. Also their salmon dish. The briyani is always amazing as well. The staff is awesome too. And the Indian beer choices are super cool and tasty my bf loves the Taj Mahal, Flying Horse, and one other. If you're vegan or vegetarian this place is a must :) foodie heaven. Vegan choices out here are slim, this is one of my faves. Also, the vibration in the food is amazing and you can really feel the devotion in it.
The family ate here and it was pretty tasty. The food is HOT after a few mouthfuls if you aren't used to it.
Delicious food! Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Good prices and options. We are return customers!
Went here with my wife for date night and we both loved it! Have eaten here before but only the lunch buffet which we also enjoyed. Started off with the Naan bread, garlic flavor, which was excellent. Don't remember the names of our entrees but they were both fantastic as well. Small cozy and warm atmosphere which we liked and friendly wait staff. Can't wait to go back and try some other selections. Also, if you're feeling adventurous and want to take a stab at making your own Indian cuisine at home, they have a small corner with Indian groceries and spices for sale for what appears to be good prices compared to mainstream grocery stores. Give this place a try!
Excellent food and ambience. Waiters were very attentive.
Not fair enough and food is terrible, they are just mixing the rice with the item ordered, for example if we order chicken biryani he is mixing chicken pieces with the rice, and for mutton biryani he is mixing goat/lamb pieces with rice, for chicken curry/chettinad curry or other curry he is just mixing the same gravy/sauced curry and selling with different name which is not at all fair. Curry is of sugar/sweet taste to overcome spice which is added in, not at all fair. The guy name sam(alias) is rude at the counter for asking onions for curry/biryani and he is saying that an extra charge for onions,if so mention that charge in the Menu, and elucidate your explanation here for this, never ever go to this...........
Love the lunch buffet, excellent sweet tea, and the chicken tikka masala with naan bread is wonderful.
Our family enjoyed the delicious food
It's hard to find good food in general in this up and coming town. Namaste satisfies that genuine Indian cuisine hunger when it arrises.
I highly recommend the lunch for carryout. Great authentic tasting food at a great price.
OUTSTANDING Indian cuisine! This is some of the best Indian food I have enjoyed in a long time. Try the Kadai - I had it with chicken, but after tasting my wife's lamb pasanda, I wish I had it with lamb. Their lamb was so tender and delicious. A word of caution or celebration, depending on your perspective: most dishes have cilantro in them. I love it, my wife hates it. In spite of this, she found her cilantro-infused pasanda to be quite delicious.
The food was good but it is more of a family style set up. The buffet is decently priced at less than $10. The staff did not seem to know much English. I had a $100 bill and they were unable to break it.
Great place to eat highly recommend friendly staff amazing food with a vary reasonable priced buffet during the week
Tried it for the first time. Always heard good things about it. Got my food and to be honest I was scared to try it because it looked weird but I did it anyways and immediately fell in love!! For sure one of my favorite restaurants now! I recommend the namaste curry lamb or goat and the cheese bread!
Ate here for the first time today. Really enjoyed the food and the service. Excellent dining experience.
Food is delicious and staff is extremely helpful to navigate menu options
It was my first time ever experience with Indian food and oh my goodness they did not let me or my husband down! I recommend it to anybody who is willing to try something new! Great customer service as well!
I don't ever remember coming here
Certainly some of the best Indian I've had - everything was tasty. We had chicken tikki masala, palak paneer, and their namaste daal. So good!
The food eas EXCELLENT. The waitressrs were vere unprofessional and talked about all the dishes that they didn't like.
The food was awesome the waiter was an ass. I got there at 2:20 the buffet shuts down at 2:30...He askes if I wanted the buffet I said yes...after eating my first plate it was after 2:30 and 60% of the food was missing when I asked if more was coming out he said no its after 2:30...I said, so I'm being charged for a buffet that there is no food on...He repeated, its after 2:30 so no more food will be placed on the buffet. Before I could ask for a manager a female stepped in and asked what I wanted and brought it to the table....other than that the food was awesome.
Awesome food and quick service. I always enjoy my time here.
Good buffet. Went on a Saturday around 2pm. The food had been on there a while it seems but it was all very good.
Great food. First time trying goat (very good) and the naan was great!
While I was here I had the butter chicken. The place look up beat and the staff was very friendly not to mention the place is very clean
Great food and service!
In some ways, I am baffled by the fact that this exceptional Indian restaurant exists in Elizabethtown, KY. But in other ways, I don't care. I eat at Namaste every time duty brings me to Fort Knox; it is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. Both buffet and menu items are quality food, full of delicious flavor, and the staff is very courteous.
I visited for buffet . The taste is not so good . I can rate less than 1 , but I don't have the option to do so . I don't recommend anyone who is looking for taste Indian food.
Discovered mango mousse and now I have diabetes.
I love their curry.
They should close this place. Food is disgusting and stale. Stop screwing with people. Food poisoning is a possible risk if u eat here. THIS IS BAD.
Why dothey not offer payment plans? Good selection otherwise, friendly staff.
Very friendly staff, and the lunch buffet is very good and not at all pricey. It's a good place to go and try Indian food if you haven't yet. I enjoy it every time.
This place has great options at good prices. It also has a very attentive staff with a nice relaxing atmosphere. A great place to take your significant other.
I went here with my family today and it was pretty awesome. The service was good, and our food came out fast. We ordered the meat samosas for our appetizer- they came out hot and fresh and tasted great. Not super spicy, but super flavorful. For the main course, we got chicken tikka masala and chicken korma, both of which had very tender pieces of chicken and delicious sauces. We ordered the naan bread as well (you HAVE to get it!!) I liked the little self-serve bowls for the chicken tikka masala and korma, as it made it easier to share and try the foods. For dessert, I had the mango mousse, which was really nice and fluffy. Definitely would go back here to try all the different (and undoubtedly delicious) dishes!
Great food and service. Nice relaxing atmosphere.
Authentic Indian dishes, great service, reasonable prices.
The Tikki Masala was good, but my husband's curry was surprisingly bland (bland curry should not exist). It was also strangely quiet so we could hear the conversations happening at every other table - meaning they could also hear ours. Our waiter was friendly while we were ordering but we hardly saw him the rest of the time we were there, which felt like forever (even though they weren't even busy). Considering the atmosphere and the food, our meal was definitely overpriced.
Clean restaurant, awesome food, and friendly staff. Can't wait to come back.
An unexpected gem in E'town! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a recent visit. The food is simply heavenly! The service was attentive and pleasant. Vegan friendly - another plus.
Very polite employees and the food was great.
The food was always delicious and well-priced. The staff was extremely courteous and we received the better service here than anywhere else in Elizabethtown. Google says that it is permanently closed, but I hope that is not true as I would love to eat here again.
First time in this Indian restaurant, the food was tasty but unless you have had it before and know how to order and what is what, you have to be careful. They let us sample a few different items and all was very Indian and definitely had some heat. Recommend but make sure you know what you are ordering.
Great food, nice buffett
Went for lunch buffet. The Quality and flavor of the food is very very poor. Veg Pakoda- salty, oily, too crisp to eat Naan- ok but not good Mutter Panner- smells like a day before left over curry Methi Panner- No salt, seems to be Panner mixed with methi paste directly with out adding any Indian species Desserts Carrot Halwa: definitely not freshly made (may be 2 or more days). Served directly with out heating it. Rice Pudding: Never ate such a bad rice pudding. Rice is not cooked properly and no sufficent milk Mangoo Moose: Good because it might be canned. Definitely not visiting again.
Can't tell people what the actual location is like but I had food of your mood deliver it and the food tasted great.
First time eating Indian Food. It was good.
I go here often and I love their food. Authentic and very good staff
They were very nice the food was wonderful.
Although they offer a full menu, I almost always opt for their buffet. It's always well maintained and is a good value. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, Rice and Daal, and Garlic Nan...all on the same plate!!! Relaxing atmosphere as well.
We were surprised to find an Indian restaurant of this quality in such a small town. The food and service were excellent. This restaurant would prosper on the upper east side or on curry row in Manhattan.
The food here is delicious. The best deal is the buffet at lunch.
Food was excellent. Our server Nasir was polite and very personable. Very prompt and attentive to our visit. I will definitely return. This is one my new favorite places to dine.
If Perry Patel still owns this. You need to be very careful especially if some one tries to do business with this man. He used to have certain individuals work for him. Worked them 7 days a week, Chef and Minano aka Mini.who also were trying to buy the restaurant with me.I was screwed over bad by him. The Three if us were buying him out. But after 5 or 6 months of training and working for free. I went to the bank my self to see what the hold up was . Come to find out. The restaurant was attached to another property and he was told a year prior he can't sell that restaurant due to it being on another deed. I never got 1 penny back and was never paid as well as several others. Thanks for reading.
Great food! Always fresh and delicious! The service leaves a bit to be desired but isn't bad, just expect to ask for refills.
The buffet is delicious. Even my kids can find something on it. The only set back is location. Parking can be aweful sometimes with the eye center next door.
When it was open before, it was my favorite restaurant. The food was cooked, sauced, and seasoned to perfection. The staff was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to work around allergies. They remembered us the second time we went in and asked about someone who was in our party the first time, but wasn't able to make it the second. It was a fantastic place that I was sorely sorry to see close. It has recently re-opened, I can only presume under new management. The staff was stuck-up, rude, and when I mentioned my allergy they told me the only thing they could bring me to eat was plain vegetables with no sauce or anything. When I asked if there was any way for them to cook something without it, they said no "because it wouldn't taste right". I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather have food that didn't taste right than no food or food that tasted like death. The previous cook managed to make dishes without it and all of them tasted amazing. We were so upset by their treatment of us that we walked out. The one person who had got their drink paid for it, and we just went to 2B Thai down the road. Not worth going to. They didn't just lose one customer with an allergy, they lost at least three and likely a few more once our coworkers and friends hear. Never going back.
Love this place: Best Indian cuisine in Etown! Keep it (mild) when order is "mild".
Legit Indian food and as good as any you will find in any large city in the states. We were pleasantly surprised when we found this place while passing thru the area. The bad reviews seem to be from people who have no idea what Indian food is supposed to be like. The prices are slightly high for central Kentucky (about $15 a dish) but the portions are large and very shareable. Bonus: a couple racks of reasonably priced Indian spices and other products at the front of the store.
Good food good staff
If you like long hair in your food go ahead. Otherwise make your curry at home. Overpirced and not quality food.
Always great service and food. Order a plate of Gobi Manchurian to share -- it is amazing!
The food is great. I've had trouble getting the servers attention a few times that I have been there. But not often enough to write the place off. The Indian tv is entertaining (love the Bollywood musical numbers). Lamb Swag is my favorite and they will fine tune the spice level for you.
Fresh curry. GREAT NAN BREAD.
The food was excellent. The hostess was attentive. I had a lovely experience.
Good
Delicious chicken masala!!!!
The best restaurant in the Radcliff/Etown area, hands down!
Pretty good food, but service was poor - unresponsive and slow. The saagwala with lamb was good, but didn't have the body of flavor it has at other Indian restaurants. The mint naan was very good. The tandoori chicken did not seem to be tandoori roasted, it was a bit saucy and not charred. It makes me think they may not have a traditional tandoori oven but I didn't think to ask. The mango lassi was fantastic, but had a couple black dots in it that puzzled me because they didn't seem to fit the drink. I drank it anyway.
This place is absolutely amazing. I recommend you try the Gobi Lasooni with a Flying Horse beer. Both taste great separately and together. The curry and vindaloo are always delicious. The naan is always fresh baked. The have a large vegetarian menu and a few vegan options as well. I highly recommend it.
Love the lamb curry . If you enjoy Indian cuisines, look no further than Etown.
Great Buffet, low prices.
Buffet is neither worth the money for nor even a single try. They lack at the very basic maintenance which is to provide tasty food. Except for the ambience there is a lot of space for them to improve. I hope it’s not this way atleast on weekends.
Excellent place, this is one of few times I've been here and each time the service and food has been superb. I recommend people to come here and enjoy the culture and the people that work here. Keep up the great work and service.
loved the mango chicken, along with GREAT personalized service and recommendations as it was our first time there, but not our last!
Some of the best Indian food I've ever had! Very fast and helpful staff. Will come back as soon as I am in town again.
Service attentive and friendly, meals came out quick. They served us a complimentary dal and dessert. I had the eggplant, Mr had chicken curry, both Were great. Highly recommend!
We were recently driving through Tennessee and were happy to find this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. This was a great find in an otherwise boring bunch of chain restaurants in town.
Very good food, fair prices, very clean and friendly staff. I felt very comfortable there, and they also deliver and cater
My visit to Namaste has been long overdue! I fell in love with Indian cuisine last year but have only been to restaurants on Louisville. That changes today. I am going to need to make this a regular stop. I was surprised that a buffet was available. If you are unfamiliar with the different options, it's a great way to dip your toe in.
If you are ever in the area definitely come here! The service was the best, our server/host greeted us as soon as we came in and continued to exceed my expectations. He gave us recommendations as it was our first time trying Indian food and coming to the restaurant. And when then food arrived it was amazing! I am definitely in love! Haha. (They also had a bunch of both vegetarian and vegan options.) He makes sure our drinks stayed full but he wasn't like so attentive I felt like I'm being harassed LOL. I'm definitely coming back there again!
I will never not love this place. The food is incredible. The buffet is fresh and delightful. The service is friendly. A little bit more lighting would be great. Parking is very limited.. But it's amazing and worth it.
Really great food! The crab masala is a must try!
Love this place!
This restaurant is absolutely wonderful. I had the lamb curry and my husband had the goat curry. The the aroma of the curry made my mouth water and the flavor was amazing. On the advice of our server, we had the medium spiced which was just perfect. It was hot enough to really warm my mouth without being too hot. We travel through Elizabethtown two or three times a year and this will definitely be our go to restaurant.
Great food, service relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices
Great buffet. Good prices. Excellent menu. Good service.
The food is really good and they have a lunch buffet. However, the prices are really steep. Staff are friendly and owners will come out and talk with you.
They have great food. I like the lamb or goat.
This place rules. I loved it. The food was fantastic.
Excellent food, great service!!! Thank you Amber from Boundary Oak Distillery for the recommendation
I really enjoy this place. I've had Indian food in a lot of places, this is a surprising little gem in Etown.
The food is fabulous! I've had Indian food previously & was less than impressed - THIS PLACE ROCKS! If you've never had Indian food previously & want to try something new, this is the place to try!
Delicious food and friendly staff.
Delicious
Very surprising how great the lamb was, very quite place and excellent service
Great place for lunch time buffet, great choices
Good Indian food. Best so far near me. Miss my onion pakpras though
I'm not an Indian food expert. I did enjoy the many buffet offerings. Tandoori chicken and naan bread are so flavorful then using the bread to capture the many sauces makes the meal. Polite servers and you feel welcome. A good experience. Have been back already and wife is asking to go again.
Great food and atmosphere...plenty to eat
Ok need cleaning
Great Indian food at reasonable prices! Mild, medium, and hot are their spice levels. But keep in mind that their medium is really hot to most people not used to spicy food. Go there if you want something well seasoned out of the ordinary boring food!
Clean, warm inviting interior decor. Exotic dinnerware. The best cooked white rice, fragrant, steamy, with perfect texture! The best most complexly seasoned but refined tomato soup anywhere. Everything is yummy including red wine and iced tea. Very polite and hospitable staff.
Loved the food and customer service. We will definitely go back.
First Indian food. Great meal. Naan was excellent.
The waitress was awesome, the wait was about 30 min. the food was good and we loved the atmosphere, we are looking forward to going back valentine's day for their couple special. Gold experience overall!
Really good Baryani. It is totally different from other. I really love it
Stopped for the lunch buffet while driving through town on a road trip. While not a huge selection, the food was fantastic. It was hot, delicious and fresh. Many times buffets are disappointing, but not this one.
The bar food was dry. I did not enjoy the tea was too sweet. I was not impressed.
Never had indian food before. Stopped here while on vacation. The staff was not rude but we were some of the only people there and the service was terrible. The food was good but nothing special in my opinion. I was mad when we ordered dessert. It was an absolute rip off. I have never seen a smaller portion in my life. Im sure if you like indian food that it would be a good place to eat. But i wouls not recommend and i would not go back.
Love the food, employees are friendly.
Amazing vegetarian food!! The food tasted so delicious. My family and I enjoyed it. One of the best places to have authentic Indian food.
Best Indian in town (ok the only Indian but still quite good ). Friendly staff
This was so good. Had dinner last night, came back the next day to try the buffet both were delicious. The best Indian food I've had in years.
My mother and I went, and we were blown away by the politeness of all of the servers. I ordered the Patia and it was extremely good. Everything was very tasty right down to the naan. I highly recommend Namaste.
This is my favorite place in this area, and Indian food isn't even my favorite food.
All great dishes here. Naan is a littler bit thinner than I like, but the garlic makes it awesome. I'll be coming back for more the next time I'm in town.
while the food is excellent...well, amazing really, it is fairly overpriced. but I understand this is because the food is high quality and the service is highly commendable. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you can afford it.
The weekday buffet could really work on improving the quality.
Small and quite. Good food
Tasty but unremarkable pan-Indian food.
Great authentic Indian cuisine.
I'm in USA more than 20 years and I'm travelar I use to eat 100s of Indian restaurant but NAMASTE Indian restaurant is the best because this guy's are cook so delicious I will be back again and again when I pass in this area for sure
Delicious Indian food! Very friendly staff. Perfect place for vegetarians and carnivores. Lol
Out of the ordinary Indian food. Not your typica Indian menu—though they have many of the usuals. Very friendly service. Bhangra and Bollywood on the TVs. As good as the best Indian we’ve had in North America, and that’s saying something.
Awesome food. Great staff. Must recommend this place if you planning to eat Indian food in Etown
Good
Staff is friendly and answers any question. Make wonderful suggestions. She is easy to talk to. Good is a amazing.
My son (age 14) and I tried this place on 12/31/2014 on a whim. We both were delighted that we did. The food is excellent and the servers are very attentive. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try something new.
Great food but expensive
Authentic excellent Indian food. Well worth the wait.
Been to Indian food places all over and this was absolutely outstanding.
I took one bite and almost got sick. Way to much random seasonings. It's like dumping a jar of spices in your mouth and you can't taste food. Staff was friendly and the place was clean but the food was awful.
Wonderful service! Very Quiet and relaxed place the curry is exceptional, and I haven't tried anything I don't like yet
Went for dinner on Monday. Food was really good but the service was very slow!
Meh. Food was okay, service was... Weird. They had kids climbing on stuff and out of control.
My family went here and everyone loved it. We had the stuffed pepper appetizer and it was delicious. My niece is super picky but loved the patia with the mango sauce and she ate all of it. Overall would definitely recommend.
