Loved this! Arrived about 6:30 p.m. Has been open 3 months. Staff VERY friendly & efficient. We are traveling & this was such a great change from the tired fare of fast food, pizza, steak or breakfast food. My husband & I were so glad we stopped. The food was delicious & you can make it as spicy or mild as you want. My husband eats anything, I have a severe egg allergy. Their menu is very accommodating. Wish we could eat here every week!

Moved from Pittsburgh and thought we wouldn't find good Indian food....well, pleasantly surprised!!! The people are warm and the food is great. The lunch buffet is different everyday with an array of vegetarian and meat dishes. Will definitely be back even though we live an hour away.

The naan & rice are great and the service is very friendly and funny. I don't love the dinner as much as the lunch buffet though.

My friend and I went there for dinner last week, and we were both disappointed. The older server acts insulted when you ask for something. He spent most of the time just standing around when we needed refills and a to-go box. The food was good, but the service has pretty bad 3 of the last 4 times I've been there. We probably won't go back anymore since the server made us feel like he was annoyed to serve us. If you are going to serve food that is extremely spicy, you need to bring customers water!!!

My first experience with Indian food was at this restaurant and I have since become a big fan. The daily lunch buffet is a great way to introduce yourself to the all the flavors that India has to offer. It's never The same buffet twice so you always come away having tried something new. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The seating area is spacious and the atmosphere is laid back. My only criticism us that the restrooms lack a changing station. So if you are bringing young children, you might find yourself needing to change a diaper with no good place to do it.

We stopped by this restaurant when driving back home from trip and wanted to have some Indian cuisine. We selected this restaurant because of the ratings and I have to tell you they didn't disappoint us. The food we're good and nice. The timing we went we're little odd so we didn't have to wait for our turn but from the ambiance and atmosphere it looked to me it will be a crowded place on a typical crowded time of the day. Anyways it was worth the stop and will come back next time though...

I didn't even want to give this place one star in fact it needs negative Stars here.. If you have ever been in the kitchen there you would understand why ... for one the dude cooking is disgusting looking... he looks like he hasn't showered in at least 50 days... I have a witness that was with me the day that I had the cockroach in my spoon while eating the chicken marsala... I showed it to the server and he didn't seem surprised at all and it first asked if he could make me another dish and I said no thank you... At least they were nice enough to not charge me for the meal, but I will most certainly never come back to that place

My wife and I didn't eat here for a while because of some negative reviews, and are now regretting the decision to wait. The food was rich and savory, as is expected in an Indian restaurant. They vary the heat to the local flavor though, as most Americans tend to avoid food that leaves chemical burns. My wife has a lower tolerance for spicy food than I do and she got along just fine here. I ordered spicy food, and was not disappointed, although I don't expect atomic heat in any restaurant stateside. Note all the negative reviews are from Indians. If you want truly authentic food, go back to Mumbai or Calcutta. These guys do the best possible with what is available to them. Service was timely, wait staff was polite, prices weren't what I'd call cheap but for a nice sit-down, they were reasonable. The facilities were clean, and the atmosphere was laid back. I would recommend this place any given day.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Eastern Kentucky. The staff are always friendly and the food is pretry authentic with beautiful bold flavors. If you want to try new Indian dishes, but are afraid of getting a large dinner, they have an affordable lunch Buffet where they have a variety of option to try. They also post their lunch menu on Facebook daily.

I come here every time I’m in town on the weekends for the Sunday buffet. I frequently go to different Indian restaurants so I can say with confidence that Masala has the largest amount of choices on their buffet than any other Indian place I’ve been to. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive. I’ve never had a bad experience here.

I ADORE this place! Beautiful restaurant, the BEST employees and the food is so amazing even my 2 year old gets excited to eat here. Highly recommend the garlic naan. The onion chutney is the extra touch on any dish that just makes it over the top good. The buffet is always clean and well stocked. I'm always happy when I get to choose dinner, because I usually choose Masala! Their dinner for 2 has enough food to feed our family of 4 and there's enough variety that everyone gets something to love.

I have never had a better food experience than Masala. The employees are super-friendly and their service is superb. I have been to Masala for dozen times and I am still not done! The lunch is a buffet, which might be a better choice for many people as you could try all the food available on the menu. Although there is no buffet during the dinner, it is enough to bring back food for one more meal. The atmosphere at Masala is fabulous with unique taste of music. Chicken-Makhni is my favorite and I get it every time I go for dinner. Just try this place, you will fall in love. Great place to satisfy your desire for the best food, authentic Indian food at low price compared to other places I have been to (about $9 for the lunch).

This is a good restaurant and a reasonable price. It's a buffet style (with a menu also), so PLENTY of tasty items and variety. The staff seems very dedicated to keeping their customers happy. As an added bonus, they can provide gluten free food and seem happy to assist those affected by that.

I have no idea why people don't eat here more. It's hardly ever crowded. There is a buffet (which I highly recommend) everyday day until 2:30, and 3 on the weekends, which has common everyday foods and always new things so you can try new Indian foods without buying it and not sure it you like it. There are not a lot of spicy things on the bar so you don't have to worry about 'curry being too hot' the chicken marsala is fabulous. Amazing. Delicious. Nan bread is the literal best. Eat it plain or dip it in everything, it's good all around. Honestly, everyone should give this place a try, just once. Also the customer service here is the BEST I've ever experienced ever. They are all so friendly and nice. Love this place, love the food.

My Husband and I recently moved to the area and this has quickly become our favorite dining spot. The service is AMAZING, the food is INCREDIBLE and the atmosphere so soft and beautiful. The only negative I see is they need a few upgrades but other than that it's top notch and that's coming from someone who completes business inspections on a daily basis since 1998. I am impressed.

I love this place. This is the best restaurant I've found in Madison County. The buffet is fresh, tasty, affordable, and a little different each time. They always have a few Indian restaurant staples like chicken tikka masala, naan, basmati rice, and chutneys. Their vegetarian options are great. The staff has been friendly and helpful each of the dozen or so times I've eaten there or done takeout. It's also one of the rare places that satisfies adults but is kid-friendly. My four-year old loves their pappadum and the assortment of fresh fruit.

Very nice decorum and atmosphere. We arrived 1 hour before closing and were the last 2 patrons and there was no rush or problem and the food was top quality even right at closing. Generous rice serving and the goat, lamb, and chicken were lean and generous portions served as well. The lamb naan will have you wishing you bought extra to go. Wife ordered her curry goat mild, and it was mild. My Tandoori mixed grill I ordered Indian style hot, and it was hot enough but not punishing hot. We will try to make it for the lunch buffet. Must try many other menu items too.
