Stone beebimbop is my favorite dish. It's true: they have outdated decor and some people would consider it to be one step up from being a hole in the wall but I care more about how my food tastes instead of how plush the booths are. You definitely should try it if you want tasty, authentic Korean food.

I was travelling though and ate at this restaurant on my own. The location is unusual for a restaurant but don't judge the book by the cover. The food was excellent and very authentic Korean cuisine and the selection of Korean vegetables they bought with my entree was delicious. The only thing missing was my wife to share the experience with. Very clean, great food, good service. We'll done. I will come again when next in Louisville.

A coworker who is part Korean suggested this restaurant and I've really wanted to try Korean cuisine for a while... the location is a little odd but the food is good, the only drawback is that they no longer have the small tabletop grills that seem to be common to these types of restaurants.

This place is so good! I have eaten there both times and had the Bool-go-gi both times, it is so yummy and I am already craving more! Kim-chi is good, I especially enjoyed the tofu and cucumber. Very polite and attentive staff - very pleasant experience both dining in and carrying out! This place is right across the street from my work so I will be coming here often. The food is a little pricey (for me, for lunch at least) but they give you SO MUCH, so much rice, multiple sides, etc. so you definitely will not leave hungry and you might even have a second meal leftover.

The food was good, service was great. We thought the beef bulgogi was kind of dry. My bibimbap, the egg was well over cooked. The “crispy” pancake wasn’t crispy at all, but rather doughy. Don’t get me wrong everything tasted pretty good, but next time I’d probably chose to go back to Sarang. Maybe we’ll come back to try some other menu items when we’re craving Korean.

I went there and probably one of the best restaurant experiences I had! I am currently learning Korean and while speaking to them they encouraged me and even showed me a Korean language learning school in town I never even knew about! The food was a good price for the portions and was delicious. The waitresses were very sweet and willing to ask any questions you answered. They also had authentic Korean side dishes and delicious desserts! Apart from being in an office building, the interior was very nice and looked just like any normal restaurant. There was even the top ten major cities in South Korea with pictures and information on the walls! A must go place if you are studying the language or culture!!

This place offers authentic Korean dishes at a reasonable price. Don’t let its unassuming location keep you from paying a visit. I recommend one of the hearty soups on a cold day. A recent review stating "spall portions, high process and lacking traditional Korean dishes" is about as worthless as it can get. I suspect the contribute has a habit of being bitter at the world. This place is fantastic. Go here and eat food, a lot.

The location is kinda weird, so don't be alarmed if maps leads you what look like several large office buildings. The entrance to the restaurant is on the front of the building. Atmosphere is very nice and cozy. Offset from the front door, the dining area feels private and secluded but has little daylight. I've only visited once so far, but the goat soup was delicious. Prices are slightly high. You get what you pay for, though. Portions are well-sized. Recommended.

So we went for the lunch special, only to find it unusually unspecial. The place was mildly crowded but we were quickly seated. The host was helpful but unseen after our food was served. No refills until it was time for the check. The banchan was limited to 4 dishes (no kimchi?!?!) and had a strange sour taste.Very few people want or ask for the cold potato bamchan, but tada, we got it. The meal was equally matched to the sourness. Bulgogi should be sweet and salty, not mildly sour. No one asked us how everything was or if we needed anything. Our experience differed from other customers (many of whom were Korean) as the waitstaff fawned over them while ignoring my table. I could excuse the staff due to being busy, but it is hard to ignore the flavor of the food. Go to Koreana or Aririrang (if they are ever open) for a better dining experience. Still, I would recommend Lee's to those who want to try Korean food and don't yet know what good Korean tastes like.
