REVIEWS OF Le Moo IN Kentucky

Katie Osburn

The waitress was extremely knowledgeable with the menu and also the town. I'm from out of town and she told me all the hot spots to go before I left. The salad was amazing was perfectly crisp salmon and I loved all of the rustic features and they serve your check in a book. Who can beat $3 mimosas???

Brittany Albers

Great dinner. We went for a family birthday dinner. Steak, sides, and wine were all excellent.

Erin Fetz

Fun!! Went with girlfriends for their drag brunch and had a blast! Brunch buffet was good. The hot brown casserole was amazing!!

Roxanna Farris

Excellent brunch, great service and affordable.

This was our first trip here and we went to celebrate our anniversary. We were seated in the back corner at a table for 2 right next to another couple and the tables were really close. There was plenty of other tables around that would have given us a little more privacy especially since they knew we were celebrating our anniversary. I didn’t feel like we could talk without the other couple hearing what we were talking about. Our table was really wobbly so I can’t say that I felt like I was eating $100 worth of steak with the table going side to side. The waiter was great although a little slow to refill the water and the food was really good. There was a larger party that was really loud. At the time of our visit it wasn’t the best choice for an anniversary dinner but again, the food was really good. My review is based on the total experience.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LeMoo! This is our favorite go to for brunch, whether we are drag showing it or just going for brunch. The food is so creative and over the top good! Never disappointed. The service is the best. I think that is one of the things that makes LeMoo the best....nationally recognized as the best even. The servers truly go out of their way to treat you like you are their only customer. Sometimes there is a wait, but I think that speaks to how great the restaurant is. Trust me, it's worth the wait!

Ryan Thomas

Made a reservation, yet waited over 50 minutes for a table. The manager only offered shoulder shrugs for the inconvenience. Our waitress Leah was friendly.

Jacqueline Wilson

The food is very good, menu has excellent choices and nice twist on classics. The appetizers were very good, mussels were excellent and the queso is awesome! Queso was different being that you use pork rins to dip! Always love their steak, first time trying beef stroganoff and it was good.

Tonya Higdon

The steaks, wine and service were fabulous. The sauce that went with the calamari, however, was cold and bland. Would go back again. The improvements to what appeared to be an older building gave it a more urban - modernized look with chandeliers and thick drop curtains proving an added luxurious feel.

Angell Crawford

It was oh so fabulous! Service was spot on,, waitress and hostess were accommodating and asked was I comfortable; and seeing as I'm accessessability challenged that is always a quality I appreciate

Kim C

Great ambiance! Interior design includes all mediums of wood, metal, fur, fabric. Trendy. Great burgers. Generous food portions. You may want to split a lunch with a friend.

Elaine Johnson

Food was great, large portions! Parking not so great, very crowded

Phillip Luallen

Great place of interesting paintings and great food. Service is quick and efficient, and the food is great! Brunch and dollar mimosa's are always a great time. Brunch is affordable, and dinner is worth the money.

scott sager

Nice wine list. Good food and good service

Shakera Moore

The food and service was impeccable. I cant wait to go back

Lachanta Jackson

We love Brunch at LeMoo! Great atmosphere & customer service. My husband always get their chicken and waffles with Red hot Syrup.

David Hutchinson

Twenty something-low attention-waiter took our drink orders and 15 minutes later asked him where they were? After this service was better but still felt as if we were a second thought. Food was excellent. But overall experience was a TWO.

Brandie Brown

Food was delicious. Nice bar selection. Decor is fun. Service is outstanding. Will be going back

Mausam Mathur

Great service and people. Very good food. Kevin does know how to put a good product experience into the market.

I had heard really great things about Le Moo, but I was let down. I have been twice and I got brunch both times as I had heard their brunch was great. The first time I had the Closet Smoker (bagel with cream cheese, salmon, and capers) and the tater tot casserole. The Closet Smoker was okay. I didn’t find it to be anything that wowed me. The tater tot casserole was hard and inedible. The service was excellent though. They did remove the casserole from the bill and offer to replace it. The second time I got the blueberry waffle, a few eggs over easy, and some bacon a la cart. Yet again it was all okay but nothing unique or special. They had dollar mimosas which were good and a great deal. If the price matched the quality it’s somewhere I would consider going again. I feel it’s a little too expensive for the quality of the food. I would check out their dinner, but the scallops are what looked like what I would want and if I were to pay 42 dollars for Le Moo’s scallops I would want them to be at least decent and I wouldn’t expect that after my brunch experiences. I feel they have potential and I do love that they serve brunch every day but that may be why the quality was lower. I went on weekdays for brunch as it is very crowded on the weekends. I will consider trying it again in a weekend when I’m feeling up for waiting but as of now I’m not impressed and am very surprised they won best brunch in Louisville.

Drag me to Brunch was amazing! The food was wonderful, the show was amazing, the service was fantastic! I took off a star because every time we come here something is wrong with the bathroom... 2 of three stalls for the women weren't usable...

Bud Ware

Service was good. Kitchen messed up 2 orders at our table multiple times. And worst of all, there were women of very questionable taste going throughout the restaurant taking pictures of themselves. One woman was wearing a white sports bra as her "top". When I asked the manager, his response was "the owner knows about this type of stuff. He advertises Le Moo as eclectic. There are no dress codes here. The owner won't care at all if I pass this along". Poor taste from a very high end restaurant.

Mark Levdahl

This is definitely the place to go for special occasions, there were 9 birthday parties in the restaurant at once. Very expensive (roughly $100/person) but pretty much worth it. Exceptional service, very nice atmosphere, fairly extensive wine list and almost all the food was fabulous. For starters we tried the breads and sauces and their take on a caprese salad (they added greens and watermelon), both were delicious and we could have made a meal of just those. Our steaks were very flavorful and properly cooked but my was a bit tough for $50+. Each of the side dishes were excellent, especially the grit cakes. For dessert we tried the turtle cheesecake and creme brulee. The cheesecake was exceptional and the creme brulee was very good. About the only misses were my tough steak and the wines by the glass were just okay.

Lewis Washington

Great Decor!! Service was EXCELLENT!! Mimosas are just...delicious!!

Juston Schmidtke

Wonderful and inviting atmosphere that is excellent for entertaining small or large groups. Steak is obviously great but the other entrees are also super tasty. Cool looks for intimate settings as well as neat outdoor seating that is great for those awesome warm summer night meals with a bunch of friends. Bottom line, if you haven't been, you should. You are not likely to regret the visit.

Review Master

Then Paul is very engaging with me and the very positive photos though she actually cared very interesting place never been so was impressed you as a great your photos then test it really really enjoyed it would be risen again next time I probably my mom out there for lunch or something that way she can give a review and see how she likes it maybe should give a 5 star other not that you guys did great keep up to your word really enjoyed the food also

Autumn Lewis

Looked at the website to make sure I would have options since I am vegan when going to eat here. The website says they have options but there was only one option besides bread that I was made aware of. The atmosphere was nice and I liked the décor except for the animal heads. But the bar was very energetic and that is where my family was seated. That one vegan option was not great, it was a cassoulet and was served in a small cast iron pan so it stayed too hot to eat or share with my toddler. It was nothing exciting and I would definitely not order it again, especially for how much it was. Not special at all. This is definitely a meat place so it wasn't for me, but I expect places to actually have options when they advertise it. One plate is not options...when the marketing manager contacted me I explained these things in detail and basically her response was we're sorry we hope you'll try us again...thanks, I'll pass and spend my money where I actually have options of tasty foods.

Christian Smith

Go there on your birthday, the price will be discounted by your birthday age. Quality food and only place I've been to that serves wagu beef or a tomahawk chop.

Mark Hayden

If you want a brunch that's worth calling in sick to skip work for, then this is it. French Press coffee with cream, chocolate chips and a jumbo mimosa...um, yes please. Food is good, menu is pretty deep for brunch, and service made the whole family comfortable. Definitely going to visit the other 2 restaurants the owner has. Can't wait to visit this place again.

Amber Lowe

This place was great! Our server; Justin, had only worked there since December & he knew the menu like the back of his hand. Our 16oz dry aged bone-in ribeyes were cooked to perfection & the truffle wagyu butter was SO good! Also, HIGHLY recommend the creme brulee!

david blackard

Great food and service.

Alex Hammack

Good food great atmosphere

Jon Korn

Food is fantastic and priced appropriately. It is on the expensive side though, but you get what you pay for. Service was decent and atmosphere is nice. I knocked off a start because they don't have a dress code. If you buy steak at over $200 a plate you probably don't want to eat it beside a table of 8 guys in shorts and t-shirts. That is what was at the table beside us and numerous others in shorts and t-shirts.

Keith S

One of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Really cool place. Great service.

Gloria Smith

Great place and an amazing meal. The Manager gave us a tour and explained the history of the restaurant. We are from out of town but this will be on our list of places to stop every time we come back to visit our daughter. Natasha was very attentive and made us feel at home. Recommend the chicken and the redfish dinners.

Sean Napier

Never a bad experience here. It's our go to place for date night. Get the stroganoff and ask for bread and butter to accompany it. You wont be disappointed. The burger and drunk fries are phenomenal as well as any steak that we have ever had.

Nick M

Beautiful place with excellent food. We celebrated my birthday here tonight and itll forever be a great memory. They really know how to take care of their guests who are there celebrating. We were given a free dessert as well as 2 glasses of champagne. Our table had 2 balloons and a card as well. The price of the food is well worth it to be treated so kindly and for them to go the extra mile. Our waiter even shook my hand when he introduced himself and wished me a happy birthday.

Tyler Joyner

I got the lunch burger. I really liked it

james stocker

Food was very good. They seared my filet too long so the center was perfect but a half inch on all sides was over cooked. With reservations it was a 45 min wait. only saw server 3 times in 2 hours. I took a group of employees there and paid. As the youngest person I was pretty much ignored. Never asked if I wanted a alcohol refill and went the last 45 min without water. I ended up drinking one of the waiting room bottles of water at the table. Last 30 min we were the only people in the room they had sat us in. Wanted dessert but after 20 min went by after the whole table was done we were not going to order more. The check was handed to the oldest person. I said.. no I'm paying then she dropped the check back to the one gentleman. Actual rating 2.5. regardless of the food unless someone else wants to go I won't return. I prefer places the recognize and like that I chose to spend hundreds at their restaurant.

J. Michelle Humphrey

We had a party if 12, for a birthday dinner. Of course, with that many people, the check would be split and everyone or every couple were paying separately. At the end of dinner, our waitress came and asked how we were paying and we told her how the checks should be separated. 30 or so minutes later, she brought one check and said that the system was unable to separate the checks. Because it was 12 people, the bill was $700+ dollars. One of our guests questioned what we were supposed to do since no one had $700+ dollars to pay and she stated that we could pay back whoever pays. she had yet to say she would break the bill down. It wasn't until one of our guests insisted that she break it down, that she came back after 20 more minutes, sat at our table with a receipt book and manually separated the bills. That took another 20 minutes. The manager came over briefly, not to apologize but to just say thats all they could do. There was no verbal apology or was there anything taken off the bill...the sodas or something...as a form of compensating for our inconvenience. In fact, they made sure to add the gratuity on at the end. I'm not attempting to get something for free. If I wasn't prepared to pay for it, I would not have asked 10 our friends to come. But the way it was handled was bad. It was as if both the server and the manager had a "this is what it is. deal with it" attitude. I won't be back

Julian Hofmann

I love this place. Natasha was great. Fantastic server! 10/10 recommend!

Katlyn E McGraw

Delicious chicken and waffles and a 3$ jumbo mimosa. Cow themed, not french.

Michele Inghram

I had the blueberry waffle and my daughter the plain waffle, both of which were excellent! Tater tots casserole was great too. Enough for two to share. My sister split a burger with her partner and they loved it. That's how big the burgers are. We had leftovers to take home. It's a fun, casual atmosphere. Servers were friendly and helpful.

Doug Collins

Great food. Better service and atmosphere.

Kali Holmes

My new favorite place! The best steak options, great atmosphere, and a hilariously fun way to deliver the check (inside a harlequin romance novel). I splurged for the bone marrow with a red wine reduction sauce and omg! Melts in your mouth! If you haven't been here, you MUST try it!

Shelley Frank

* Warning for business diners * Food was delicious. There were eight of us there for a business dinner and I felt like we were taken advantage of due to that. The server, Jamie, asked if we wanted to chef to put together a variety of their appetizers for our table. Sounded good, so we said yes. We ended up with seven appetizers for eight people including a seafood tower for $218....all in all we were charged $336 in appetizers....very uncalled for! Will not be back.

jason frisz

Wonderful food. Very friendly staff. We just went to celebrate my wife and I Birthday. The manager came and sat with us and listened to our story of how we share a birthday. He was very nice. We had a wonderful visit as always. We will definitely go again.

Eric Williams

Very interesting place. Food was very good. Tried the breakfast burger and a couple different steaks. All do e as expected and were very good.

Randa Masri Perkins

Excellent experience here! We made a reservation for our anniversary, and our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable and really made our night special!

Taylor Heise

I love the atmosphere and vibe! The food is just as delicious as the coffee and we had no wait time on a Sunday at 10:30a.

megan fell

The food and the Mimosas were good BUT there are certain things that rubbed me the wrong way when dining here, which is why I'm reviewing with 1 star. The first time i visited Le Moo (after waiting for 45 min to be sat which is typically normal for a Sunday morning) we sat for 45 minutes without being greeted then once I complained to the host stand, we were not greeted for another 30 minutes before I had to complain AGAIN. We finally had our orders taken but were not addressed by management or any superior about the prior issues. Also, I feel the need to mention we are not needy customers. Each one of us work within the food industry and are very tolerant because we know how it is - this was just downright unprofessional in the way things were handled. My girlfriend and I revisited months later and this issue really put the cherry on top for us. We heard about the drag brunch and asked the bartender who was taking care of us more information about it. He gave us more information etc. then said "What, you wouldn't pay $30 to watch a bunch of dudes dress up like women??" Now, disclosure, i am a part of the LGBTQ community. HOWEVER, this is insulting on so many levels, and can be insulting to anyone. Altogether, I thought it was disgusting and demeaning towards the Drag culture and people within it. Not to mention the way he treated my girlfriend and I in comparison to other guests - it was very clear he was judgmental, and probably homophobic. Le Moo, this should not be tolerated.

Callie

Lots of great options here. They have very upscale food but they also have stuff for people that don't prefer those options. I got a burger and it was delicious. I wanted to try the Wagyu steak but I'll save that for another day!

maddi1962

Pecan pie cheesecake is a game changer. I'm not a huge fan of pecan pie, but this dessert is ALL that!!

Elisio Sapata

Father’s Day Drag Queen Brunch is a must go to event. Don’t stop, don’t think about it or ponder. Just do it! No regrets just do! Lots of fun and the brunch isn’t bad. Have a blast and enjoy the talent. Bring your family bring your friends and enjoy the mimosas. Le Moo’s regular menu is pretty good.

Jay Rivera

I'll say this: Le Moo was, by far, my favorite experience during the entire month I spent in Kentucky. I believe the Manager's name is Nick… knowing how much we wanted to see the show, even though I didn't make the right reservations, this man went above and beyond to get my friend and I in there… the bartender in the photo is the charm of that bar… BEST STAFF EVER… I've never left a venue feeling as good as I did here… I will absolutely be visiting again soon… this place is a must-have for anyone in the area… it was an EXPERIENCE! Jenna Jive, I love you!

Justin Jewell

Sam did an amazing job taking care of us for our anniversary! Absolutely love this place!

Matt Coddington

Outstanding meal. Superb service, terrific dishes. Mussels appetizer was incredible. Ribeyes were cooked to perfection. Lima beans side was the best version of lima beans we've ever tasted! Grits cakes side was tasty was well - crunchy on the outside, creamy inside. We've been here numerous times when it was the old KT's. Brought back memories, as much of the building is the same. Very cozy feel. Highly HIGHLY recommended!

Jason Caple

I had a good time, however my food was plated wrong and not caught until I brought it up.

Tom Shannon

Steak was tough and service was bad. Will not return.

Pamela Michelle

Service was slow. Waited almost 30 mins before someone took our order. When food arrived, lamb ribs were cold. Server brought us another supposedly straight from grill but they were cold as well. Asparagus was really good along with salmon. I gave a 3 because it was Mother's Day weekend and wait time was understandable.

Brenda Sams

the brunch is delicious. I wish there was an option without the drag show.

Melissa Rayl

Stopped here on a trip thru back to Missouri. Steaks were amazing and rated top 31 in the country! The service was professional and sincerely kind. The atmosphere lower lighting and romantic. P.S. order the creme brulee

Ashlyn Dillman

We had a lovely time for dinner here

Teresa InLouisville

Our group went to the Mariah drag brunch and had so much fun. Buffet Food was quite good and servers very pleasant and helpful. The large mimosas definitely contributed to our festive mood. The performers were fabulously decked out and fun to watch. The show itself was less performance and more strutting around the room collecting $1 tips but it was entertaining and I would go back.

Miguel Medina

Excellent steaks but not sure the $60 to $90 price per person is worth it. Good to go once. Outstandkng service.

Nicole Teague

Great newer nice restaurant. Was certainly pleased with everything our very large diverse food palate ordered, and wine selection.

Anyra Worthy

I've never been to the Le Moo before. Me and four other members of my family came here for brunch after church. I was surprised by the size/amount of food you get! The waitress was nice & prompt. This was a nice experience.

Joan Bauman

Wonderful menu. Private party areas available. Helpful staff all make this a great place to relax and enjoy a meal

Ray Harrison

My fourth visit, and it was just as perfect as my first. You will not be disappointed. Service was impeccable and there are no bad choices on the menu.

Luke Misgen

One of the best surprises. Food was amazing. Atmosphere is fun and quirky. Overall one of the best steakhouses I have eaten.

Cindy Velten

My husband and I dined last night at Le Moo for our anniversary. We were so excited about going but when we got in our car to leave we both looked at each other and said what a huge disappointment! We had a prime filet and prime ribeye. I had the ribeye and couldn’t even cut it with the French knife it was so tough and not cooked medium rare. We also had the Maine lobster tail which we thought was over cooked as well. Our drinks to start off were just ok and my crab and corn chowder came out cold. My husbands wedge was very good though. He said his filet was average nothing special. Have had way better steaks elsewhere. Andrea made the event bearable because she was so knowledgeable and most helpful. When you spend $220. + $40. tip, you expect the steak to melt in your mouth. We definitely will choose Jeff Ruby’s or Ruth Chris next time. We both feel like Le Moo is over rated! We were crushed! So sorry!!! Maybe just an off night on a Thursday evening!

Bilal Jalil

Probably the best steak house in town. They are also on of the only places certified to stuck wagyu beef. Wouldn't recommend going here more than once, there's many other great steak houses in Louisville

Renee West

LeMoo was such a great experience for me. The manager even stepped outside with me to take my picture and invited me to future events. I am pleased with the food, service and overall atmosphere. The Shrimp and Grits will give you life.....and a full tummy!!

Dumb idiot

We had Seth! He was so friendly, and just all around awesome! He was very knowledgeable on all the food!

Kathryn Sharpe

The food and atmosphere were both exceptional. Friendly staff too

Julie Garrison

Fabulous brunch!! I had "I'm that guy" complete with a Budweiser. The Mimosa was excellent too. Love the atmosphere!

Terence Marfleet

Fantastic food and fantastic service, busy but cozy. Great wine list and beer. A real birthday treat. Thanks to the Le Moo team you run a great restaurant. I’m now a fan!!

Kimberly Nelson

The atmosphere...the food...the General Manager Marty is very accommodating ...

Jessica Weil

Drag brunch is fabulous and always a great time. The service is amazing and always in top of things. The food is delicious as well!

Simon Li

Excellent service and exceptional food. Really great atmosphere and just all around great restaurant. Had the NY strip medium rare and it was great. Cooked the right amount, very tender, juices still inside, and delicious to eat. The loaded potato was my side and that was good too. Seemed like everyone was enjoying their food (Oscar style, a prime ribeye, and a pork chop). Would definitely recommend their birthday special as well - which is a reduction in price based on your age.

James Hasty

I've always wanted to go to Le Moo and finally did for my mother's birthday party. It was during the Sunday Brunch so the menu was very limited. Specialty drinks pricey but very good. I had shrimp and grits and was very good. Took home some desserts also very good. There were 15 of us so I think our waitress could have used a little help. She did try very hard to accommodate us all. It was a very good meal and overall pleasant experience. They have top shelf wagu beef here which I hope to return and try. I would have given 5 stars but I feel it is just over priced.

Andrea Cotton

I've attended the drag brunch twice now and had a blast both times! The ladies do a FANTASTIC job - changing outfits frequently, playing fun current and throwback songs, and engaging with each and every table...and, the food is OUTSTANDING!!! I'd HIGHLY recommend everyone to attend a show!

Jeff Ruth

One of the most fun and delicious places I've ate at in Louisville.

GJ Boblitt

Great food and atmosphere!!

Matt Solon

We ate here for brunch and it was soooooo good. The “Not Just for Crazy People” burger was one of the “Best burgers you’d ever try in life.”

Ryan Elowski

The service here was too notch! We had a very large party and when we got our meal, we did have a few steaks come out a bit over done. The staff did not blink an eye, and replaced the steaks immediately. It's nice to have that level of attention.

Kathy Boggs

The Drag brunch is the BEST time! Such great food and entertainment!

Mike Spurlock

Service was excellent. Cool atmosphere. Interesting menu. Great craft beer selection. Steaks are good but on the pricey side.

Britaniya Stuart

Visiting from NYC. Food was mostly good. We were very happy with the bacon, biscuits and the cheese dip. I wouldnt describe the bacon as thick cut. It looks like regular bacon, but it tastes very good. Not too salty. Waffle was delicious. Portions are very large so come super hungry. You probably won't have to eat again for the rest of the day. Server was very friendly. Overall, enjoyed the restaurant and would come back if I were ever in town again.

Elizabeth Smith

Food and service was absolutely perfect.

Daniel Cupkovic

Date night central! Trendy spot with excellent steaks and service. I heard the Sunday Brunch is excellent too (from my wife).

Jennifer Jones

Le AMAZING! Yes it’s pricey but your paying for so much more than an average steak. Our waiter Seth is fantastic. He explained everything and made sure we had whatever we needed ASAP. He knew so much about the cuts and texture I was shocked. Our meals were perfect and was an adventure for my tastebuds. The atmosphere is very eclectic and enjoyable with dimmed lighting and comfortable chairs. We enjoyed our dinner and hope to go back soon.

Stacy Sowell

The buffet for the drag show-we were the last table to go to the buffet. Had to ask staff to replenish the food on the buffet and the salad table. A staff person should have been assigned to check the buffet after a couple tables had gone. Asked about alternatives to the pork items but none was available. So I paid $35 for a buffet that I didn't get to enjoy due to pork based or items that were cooked with pork. Also, they advertise $1 mimosa's with a sign out front but we were charged $5 a mimosa..So I spent $60 in total for a brunch that I didn't get to enjoy

Fee Mac

A LOOOT of food for the price!! It is a steak joint...Cool atmosphere very sexy lol!! Had a girl's wkend and saw their sign for $1 mimosas!!! Very good and the jumbo mimosa was only $3!! It was a blast!

Hmm Momma

Drag brunch was amazing. I'll be back again!

josh sooter

Fabulous! My Wife and I went here on our anniversary. The food was beyond amazing and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Make sure to go in on your birthday. They have a special treat for you. The atmosphere is unlike any other place. Elegant yet freaky.

Jane Pfeiffer

Great decor. Impressive lunch menu. I would like a few lighter options.

Joe Cline

Food is really good, service is outstanding, this place is full of happy people who bend over backwards for you. Highly recommend.

Tamara Ellzey

The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because it took a little longer then I would have liked to get my food. Love the $1 mimosa's and the omelets...mmm mmm good.

Rick Hein

Great food. Only problem was it was COLD in the restaurant. Steaks were amazing. Service was good

erica davis

Beautiful ambience and cheerful staff. $1 mimosas during brunch!

Mike L

Beef Short Rib with Fried Eggs and a $5 Mimosa.....5 Stars....Boom.

Richard May

Dined recently with a party of 8. Drinks at the bar while waiting for reservation. Good atmosphere and good to see ole friends. Food was just okay. I had strip steak medium rare. Food was little longer coming out than we were expecting. Plates were delivered by runner. As soon as I cut into the steak I knew it was not medium rare but medium well. Kept waiting for our waitress to check back but everyone was nearly finished when the first check back come. I asked her if this was the way Le Moo grilled medium rare and she said it was more like well. She would have the manager take care of it. Dessert was awesome! When the bill came it was full price with a card for my information assuming the manager would reach out. 3 weeks later no contact. Asked others from party and there were several negative comments as well. Gotta say with so many great places to eat out in Louisville not sure it's where I will suggest next time.

Christian Peterson

Had the steak and egg hollandaise. By far the best steak I've ever eaten. Very tender and juicy, perfect just as served.

Tonjia Linderoth

Great service, cool atmosphere and really good food. Really what to try Drag Brunch next time we are in town.

Reed Lorch

Quickly becoming a Louisville classic in its first few years. The brunch service was wonderful. Amazing hash and eggs. Don't sleep on the mimosa specials either!

Michael Morris

First of all let me compliment our server. Seth's performance was extraordinary. Not only did we enjoy a great brunch, Seth added to great experience. What a warm and friendly chap. The food was excellent. I didn't order from the menu for diet restrictions. No problem... Seth put something together that fit my restrictions. 2 eggs poached with a side of bacon and sausage. My bride had the chicken and waffles. She loved it.

Keith Miller

Comfy, chill, good service and people....funny drag show as well. Brunch was nice...more of a laid back Ky place

Pam Van

Great Food, Terrific Service and a Fun atmosphere!!!!

Aimee Holtsclaw

The brunch was excellent. Portions were large. The spicy Bloody Mary was yummy. Our waitress was amazing.

joe gossman

Mixed emotions about this place. Great bar and food is usually really good, however last time we visited I thought I would have been just as well off going to Texas Roadhouse and would have saved money too! i was probably a little put off by the fact our entrees arrived immediatly after they sat our salads on the table! They took them back, and said they would recook. My steak was over done, which says to me it sat, and wasnt recooked.

Derrick Spratt

Great place for BRUNCH

Allie Ireland

Really tasty food. Wasn't a big fan of the tiger lily drink, but to each their own. I had a delicious tomahawk steak. I liked my boyfriend's sirloin better but that's okay.

Michael R

Great experience! The food was top of the line and the service was prompt and courteous. Delicious Bloody Mary. Highly recommend breakfast or lunch here if in town.

SCATMAN1066

Great brunch and mimosa special. The decor is real nice dress code is causal. Staff very pleasent. Very enjoyable place. Will return again. Tater tot egg thing is awesome

Katie Robinson

Great food, great service, wonderful date night. Natasha was our server and she was perfect. Worth every penny!

Christopher White

The atmosphere was nice and you can't beat their $1 mimosas! In addition, the breakfast burger was out of this world!

Kathryn Knight

This place was amazing. The steak and scallops were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is very modern but has a home style comfort. Service was on point. Seth was great. Can’t wait to come back. Recommend the tomahawk steak! It was perfect size to share for two people.

Kaelly Sidebottom

Went for my birthday, and they made it so special. Their waiter is very nice, even shakes your hand and introduces theirselves. Awesome atmosphere and cool decor. But most of all there food was amazing! Will definitely come again.

Perfect steak house. Great attentive staff. Tenderloin flight was a very unique and frankly educational experience. Food was perfect. A touch pricey, but worth it.

Chris McGuire

I can't say anything bad about it. Only that for the premium prices I expected a lot more. The only standout for me was the creme brulee...I know everybody has it, but this one was truly great. Everything else was good to very good. Overall a good meal, but not really with the price.

Chris Foster

Good service, all the workers were friendly. Food tasted fantastic and plate presentation was great. Just be prepared to pay a very pretty dime.

janeane louden

Sunday Brunch was great. Service exceptional. Food was good.

Chandra Brown

Absolutely wonderful, my daughter had the best time of her life @ dragandbrunch!

Pam Ruckriegel

Great place for a birthday celebration...great food, ambiance, not too noisy so you can chat without yelling across the table. Do ask prices of the specials so you are not caught off guard! Every recommendation from our waiter was on point although I think everything on the menu is fabulous!

Carol Ballerstedt

Great service and food. Every aspect of fine dining service in tandem with genuine southern hospitality (read: non pretentious) made dinner here one to remember. Chips and queso were incredible - I can see why they’re known for it. Courses were expertly timed. Didn’t feel rushed even through dessert and coffee service. Our server (can’t remember her name!! It began with an A) was attentive but by no means overbearing. Decor is very unique. I would call it Steakhouse glam - Luxurious and tasteful with lots of cow motifs.

This is a very high end restaurant with fabulous service. However the food was just okay. For $150 for the two of us, I expect more. This was with only one drink and s shared dessert. My fillet was the best thing we ordered but my partner's ribeye was very gristly.

Karen Anderson

Menu served a variety of tastes. Great food! Good atmosphere

Kelly Fingland

Food was good, but more frustrated with the service. Did not know that you had to book drag brunch separate. We tried calling on our way to the brunch to tell them our Uber got lost and we'd be late and no answer. When we got there they said oh, we don't answer the phone Sundays. Okay... Then the toilets weren't flushing, same answer. Oh, it does that sometimes.. interesting.

Shonnese Reed

Absolutley delish and well worth the wait. Prices are great!

Jason Saunders

This is by far, the best place the eat a steak, or food, or edible stuff of any nature. The bone marrow was awesome, and the dry aged steak was could only be improved by the truffle butter they put on top. They don't have wine pairings on the menu, but the waitress made it happen for us any way. It was superb, and I'll definitely go back. If you haven't been there, go there.

Tanya Mccain

Great experience!!! Beautiful environment, great service, and the food prepared was definitely on point. The fillet was so tender and juicy and cooked just the way I like it. The drunk cut fries are delicious, baked potato and Cherry Balsamic chicken very tender. My partner and I enjoyed all of this in the comfort of the Beautiful Versace booth. We will be back soon.

Azzad Ruiz

Delicious food and wonderful ambience! I went with my mom and she loved her Balsamic Cherry Chicken so much she said it was one of her favorite dishes ever, and she can be a picky eater. The Pecan Caramel Cheesecake was so scrumptious it left us stunned. Also our server Jaime was a delight and left us with a great impression of the place. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who asked!!

This was my second time. Once again nothing but amazing. Some of the best food ever, great atmosphere, drinks all around great. Heads up get a reservation or you will wait. Parking can be tricky but the valet if very reasonable. I hope le Moo becomes a Louisville icon.

Lisa Brandt

Amazing food! Went to the drag brunch and that was so much fun! Great service and amazing place

Wife and I had a wonderful Saturday brunch recently. Our first time to visit and it will not be the last. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant to talk with (we even got a tour of the place). We split the $40 steak and eggs Benedict and a side of fried potatoes and toast--delicious. All in, with a $1 mimosa and French press coffee, and tip, was about $80. More than we typically want to spend for brunch (and there are less expensive options). Prices are fairly steep but I'd like to return to see if their other beef cuts are worth the expense.

Bailey Nguyen

The tomahawk was delicious, drinks were a little pricey, nice ambiance.

Raymond Fulton

The breakfast burger was delish. I would say ask for fresh fries bc mine were luke warm which if you know me I love fries. The ketchup has a kick so be prepared for that. I love my mimosa.

Josh Payton

We were given the VIP blue velvet booth. So much fun and comfortable to boot! Plus, 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesday and the Valentine's Day specials were amazing! Le Moo is always a first class experience and the food is phenomenal!

Bad first impression unfortunately due to the girls at the front entrance. My husband and I went to Le Moo for the first time this past Saturday for his birthday. Prior to our visit I made a 9:00pm reservation Friday morning (day before). When we got there on Saturday, 10 minutes prior to 9:00pm, I went up to the three girls (No names unfortunately) on the front desk to let them know I am there for a reservation. They found my information, verified my name, and told me that we will be seated closer to 9:00pm. As we waited, the lobby was full and people were being seated. I saw three different couples come in without reservations as we waited. They maybe waited 5 minutes and then were escorted to their table. As the minutes went by no one else was left in the lobby but my husband and I. I looked at the time and saw it was about 9:15- 9:20pm. I went up to the girls and asked them what was going on. After giving them my information a second time, I was told that we never checked in. I was furious at the fact that not only we did check in immediately after walking in, but that they saw that we were there waiting for about 30mins and didn't even bother to check on the status of our table. If we hadn't spoken up we probably would have not even been helped. Considering the recommendations and ratings on this place I would have expected a way better service at the door. Luckily, our waitress was phenomenal and redeemed for what the three girls at the front could not handle. We did not escalate our experience to management to avoid any more tension but hopefully this review helps so that people can learn to pay attention during their job. Overall food was great.

Priscilla Bullard

The food was fabulous. Very warm atmosphere

Mike ODell

10-oz. Grade-8 American Wagyu and skillet fried mashed potatoes.... Wow, impressed. Service top notch. Not a bad thing to say about this place. Highly recommend.

Kyle Hoylman

Always good, but a little pricey. Good place to watch people. Not Your Father's Oldsmobile for the breakfast win.

Guy Saults

Great steaks, great service, great atmosphere, and it's NOT in the overcrowded downtown!

Jessica Watson

OMG so delicious. Everything was amazing. The chorizo white bean soup was amazing, 14oz ny strip was called perfectly and that Carmel pecan cheesecake was like a little bit of heaven!

Andrew Conlisk

Had a great brunch, with friendly service.

Elliott Lasher

Both our waiter and food were divine, though I wish I had tried the desserts.

Shari Williams

Food is still very good and delicious. Next time I go we’re going to try and go to the show.

I had lamb ribs, sides, & dessert...5 mushroom medley, collard greens, & espresso choc cake.. This was lunch on a Mon & our 1st time at Le Moo. The menu looked delicious but SADLY my lunch & the other 3 lunches were just ordinary. I barely had 1/8 > 1/4 c of lamb...the rest was fat. The mushrooms & greens werent any better than a run of the mill restaurant. The cake did have a few espresso beans on it but that was the extent of espresso. The cake could have been Betty Crocker tho the icing was ok. I really was disappointed especially after the reviews from friends. Lastly what topped it off....there were probably 6 tables at that time with guests. Our waitress was quite personable BUUUUT her service was slow & inattentive. Just 1 example...I asked for a to go box for my cake...it took her 10m to get. She was taking menus back to the front, fixing tape in the register, & clearing dishes while we waited. $89 dollars is a bit expensive for lunch but I wouldn't have minded paying it & actually went there expecting to pay that much....if the food had been outstanding & the service impeccable. The food/service at the Village Anchor is 10x's better. Maybe lunch isn't Le Moo's thing or maybe this was just an off day. I'd go back a 2nd time but not sure I could get the hubby to give them a 2nd chance.

The Vintage plug

I took my girlfriend here tonight and ordered the oork chop, it took 45 mins to come out and although my server was nice he didnt ask to cut to check temp and my pork chop was all the way translucent rare on the inside. After sending it back for another 10 mins and eating part of my girlfriends steak, i finally got the pork chop ......her meal was already done.... spent $110 for this service.

Marion Whitehouse

Pricey, but awesome to have been there

Alexander Peak

their burgers give me tears of joy so much so that I feel like I culd pass out about it

Dale K Higgins

Great place for steaks and drinks.

Stephanie Waterhouse

This is our favorite steakhouse in Louisville. The filet is amazing and I love their crab corn chowder. The wine and bourbon selection is great as well. Service has always been impeccable! If you're looking for great food, head to Le Moo. It is a little pricey but so, so worth it.

Yohimar Sivira

Perfect Brunch and drag show! Mimosas were great and the show so entertaining. Perfect plan for birthdays.

Tommy Gun

Had a difficult visit during a busy holiday rush. The staff responded immediately and invited us back. They proved an outstanding dining experience. We came with a group of six and everyone left more than satisfied. Steaks, seafood and drinks were perfect. Our server, Steve, was friendly and on-point. Thank you!!! Highly recommend.

Lisa Pham

We had a reservation. We went in and informed our server we were still waiting for more people to come. The issue was that she never came back to check in on us— even when someone new arrived. She never asked for their drink order. We had to ask a host to grab our server because it had been a long time since she checked on our table. Everything went downhill after that. She came back with a really bad attitude and blamed us on her own confusion. After that, she avoided checking up on us by avoiding eye contact. It took about 30 minutes for us to get our to-go box and checks (which she messed up a couple of times.)

teresa lunders

The food was fantastic. Our drinks were perfect also.
