First salad came out had a big hair on the side of the bowl. Second salad came out bowl was filthy looked like it had not been washed and had food stuck to the bottom. Will not eat here again! Beware!!! And manager didn’t seem to care! I wish they had a negative star rating I would give them that!

Great atmosphere. Went in to watch the Wilder vs Fury fight. Good food, drinks and cant say enough about the atmosphere. They had the high school state championship game on, Big 10 and ACC championship games on and the boxing undercard. My new spot.

We went on a Friday around dinner and the place was pretty much empty. They sat us in a corner and it was freezing the entire time, the people next to us were even making comments. We ordered Spinach dip as soon as we sat down. It took almost 30 minutes to arrive and it was cold when it did with stale chips. We sent the app back and decided to just wait for our entrees. While we were (still) waiting, we watched management and staff stand around laughing and talking outside on the patio. One manager was even eating food from the neighboring restaurant right in front of the front door. Our food finally came after 40 minutes. I had gotten wings, they were decent but I could not tell a difference between the Bleu Cheese and the Ranch. My boyfriend got the beer cheese burger and it was not spectacular. Luckily, we had a coupom for a free entree so we only had to pay for the one. If we had had to pay full price we would have been very disappointed. We won't be going back.

Food was very good. A little over priced for what you get. The atmosphere is amazing. Flat out the best around if you like UK sports. The paper straws were terrible, especially if you consider the owner hates paper straws and then distributes them at his own bar. Needs a larger restroom facility. The place is constantly packed and holds nearly 300 people, yet has a restroom smaller than a fast food restaurant. Overall it was very good, just a couple of small things that needs addressed.

Very disappointed. There were four of us for dinner and all four of us walked away less than happy. We ordered pickel chips to start and have with drinks. Normally a salty item, these were so salty they could not be eaten. Two of us ordered the Shrimp and Grits (one of my favorite dishes) and these were totally tasteless. One person ordered the Half Rack of Ribs which were over cooked and no amount of sauce helped. On top of the the poor quality food, the noise level was so loud you could hardly hear the people across the table. We all eat out a lot and often go to sports bars but won't return here

Would have given five stars on my first visit because the burger was absolutely perfect and tasted great and one of the best in town. The only complaints I have is the menu is very small with not a lot of choices as well as when I saw Missy's pies as one of their desserts I asked for a piece of key lime pie. Hopefully this was a mistake on their part because this $6 piece of pie was as small as mrs. Smith pies that you get two in a box for $3 at the store. Definitely not the Missy's pies that I remember from Ramsey's.

There might not be a better place to watch UK athletics. Food and drinks are a little pricey and the quality isn't earth-shattering, but their gameday specials are often great and the atmosphere during the games makes it worth it.

Went on a rather busy evening so I'm sure this isn't a typical experience, but if you show up and it's packed you should know what to expect... First, it was a shortened menu. Second, the bartender was very adamant that the kitchen was very backed up anyway... despite having a shortened menu. Third, on receiving the shortened menus, the bartender told us they're not serving burgers (maybe take them off the shortened menu, give guests a *shorter* menu?). Fourth, it took 10 minutes to get the bartender's attention again (mind you, the bar wasn't nearly as busy as the rest of the establishment). Fifth, when I did get her attention, I asked for chicken wings. Guess what else they weren't serving from the "shortened menu"... I was like reeeeally? A sports bar with no burgers or wings, despite them both being on the shortened menu that the kitchen *still can't keep up with*?? That's the crux of my grievances. They were out of our first beer selections but that's understandable, the ones we settled on were fine and you can tell they probably earn their 98 health rating (sad to say you can't see that in most establishments in this town). It is clear as day that they haven't quite gotten a handle on having a full house to serve.

Came in late on a Monday at 1010 pm to grab some food with my beautiful woman after a long day of working until 930 (both of us) and was greeted after 5 minutes by a woman who proceeded to tell me that they had last call in 7 minutes (1022pm). I work in the industry and went to the neighboring bar named Tilted Kilt instead to respect her demands, and was greeted with open arms. My issue is that you can't advertise that you're open until 11 and close 40 minutes early, that's not ok and makes you liar. But it is ok though, because we learned the KILT is where it's really at and we vowed that we will definitely not return to KSBar ever again.

In from Myrtle Beach, SC visiting family for Thanksgiving and had to get out and come to restaurant. It did not disappoint. Service was fantastic and the food was amazing. It tasted great and didn't take to long to get to our table. Loved the atmosphere and had a great time. Wished we lived here...wood definitely be regulars. ;)

Second visit here and love the food and love the atmosphere! The Katfish tonight was some of the best I've had in a long time! Fried pickles had a nice little kick to them! Hope this place lasts in Lexington (I'm pretty confident it will) because I plan to come back many more time and sample the rest the menu.

We came tonight after going to the UK vs Louisville game. Go Cats! First visit and very disappointed. Good beer selection, expensive. We sat at the bar and the bar tenders were great and attentive. Got an order of fried pickles which cost $9 and asked is that it? The basket wasn’t even half full. Are you kidding me for 9 Bucks! This is ridiculous and we won’t be returning.

Our waitress MJ was so great! They were very busy since it was a game day, but she kept up and so did the kitchen-they were smart to narrow down the menu for game day to make it easier on staff. The loaded chips were really good and it wasn't just a bunch of chips like most places-would recommend this place for good bar food and atmosphere.

If you Love UK sports, this is the place to go on gameday. Lots of Big Screen TVs, friendly, welcoming staff, and decked out front to bavk with the Blue and White! I had the BBQ burger and homemade chips. Comes on a beer bun which added to the dinning experience. Very tasty. Also bought a cup of chilli( go ahead and get the bowl, you're gonna want more). Wish they had a place closer to me, I be a regular weekly.

Monday Night Football specials were a great value, especially the wrapped jalapeno poppers. The staff was INCREDIBLE. Usually I feel like new bars/restaurants suffer from understaffing but our two waiters at KSBar were friendly, knew all about the menus, and were constantly checking on us while at the same time not being intrusive. I am excited to visit again in the near future and to recommend this place to anyone.

Great atmosphere and location. I had the You're A Great American Burger with fries. The burger was fine. Fries were good, but luke warm. They don't offer pepper jack cheese, but hopefully will in time. Menu is limited but they just opened. I hope nachos and potato skins are added eventually. It'll be THE PLACE to be on game day. I'll be back.

Went there on a friday nite with party of 15 people...1st we ordered the pulled barq and was told yhey were out...so then ordered the ribs to be told 15 mins later that they were out of that too...this was after BBM...finally ordered the chicken platter but they forgot to bring my sides...by the time they brought them everyone was done eating so i had to get my sides to go....the chicken was really good....but they never even offered to do anything about it...felt like they should have atlease done something....we spent alot of money and didn't even get an im sorry...but we love ksr....and all the guys so im sure we will try it again sometime...

I was not impressed at all. First of all it's way over priced. We had two cheese burgers, pretzel bites and one tap beer and our bill was $45.00. The burger patties were the size of a piece of sausage from McDonald's. We didn't get asked how we wanted our burgers cooked, so they came out like leather. The fries where chewy and gross. My girlfriend went to the restroom and she said it was nasty. It was 8:20 on a Friday night. I saw plenty of people standing around that should have made sure that the restrooms were clean. As we were eating our pretzel bites we noticed that some of the many TVs were playing some local makeshift boxing event held at Whitaker Bank ball park. It was stupid but the music was playing and there were plenty of other TVs to watch. There were some women parading across stage occasionally that caused a mom in the place to repeatedly cover her child's eyes. Then after a few minutes they turned the music off and had this boxing show full blast. Next thing we know two women were on screen from the audience in a fist fight and pulling their clothes off. At this point the mom had to cover her son's eyes and leave!! We were disgusted and couldn't wait to leave even though we hadn't even eaten our dinner. Seems to me that the bar tender didn't care that we were unhappy. All she did was laugh when i told her my concerns. She should have gotten the manager. To bad this happened, because we were excited to have another place to hang out close to our house.

Pretty dirty, floors and tables, especially considering how new the place is. Servers and staff definitley know the regulars and don’t seem to care much about new customers. And the wings I got, 2 were raw in the middle with blood in them . I’ll spend my money at Banners or Roosters going forward. Cool concept here, just not well executed.

Best place to watch any game! Huge group of TVs that form one giant screen (or can be split into 9 different screens). Very cool atmosphere!! Lots of UK memorabilia on the walls! And let's not forget 30 beers on tap (most are local) and great food!

My burger and onion rings were very good. Hubby's chicken wings were not. He ordered hot and bone in and got boneless and mild. It wasn't busy but the service was slacking. Loaded house chips are great.

So, I work locally and have ate here about six times for lunch. Greeters are kids, kinda rude if you come during a game. As for food, the wings were over cooked and slopped with sauce on one visit. Had the chicken salad, great two times I had it, this last time it was pitiful. Had wilted, slimy lettuce in it. I have had the fried chicken sandwich and it was great. Overall, never go after 6pm with family. You will never get in and all the seats are taken until the game is over. If you want good service and good food for the family I would skip this place. Go up the road and eat at Malone’s, you will spend about the same for bar food and be less likely to be disappointed.

Decided to make my 4th trip to KS Bar for lunch. Greeting was amazing! Service was amazing! Seeing ryan in jail .... sad but amazing ‼️ However as far as the food goes not so much. Cheese logs (cold in middle), Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers (bacon was kinda on the raw side) beer cheese burger was amazing however the fries/onion rings (cold and clearly had been sitting) ..... we had a table of 7 and the opinion ate echoed above... clearly whoever is at the quality control section of the food is asleep at the wheel. I will say that the previous experiences was very pleasant.

We only support local restaurants, but with that said, here is a summary of our dinner-Service was efficient, meaning our server came several times to take our order and when we finally ordered, food was delivered within 5 minutes. The All American Burger is actually 2 thin burgers cooked well done, there is no way they are being cooked with each order. Fries were cold. With so few items on the menu, it would behoove them to focus on quality. If you’re just looking for mediocre bar food, great venue.

This stop was decent but not the greatest. The chips and beer cheese appetizer we got was good! The waitress was friendly. The ambience was great out side but with the big roof covering. That was nice. But then it took so long to get our food on a primarily slow time of the day. She never said sorry let me go check or anything we didn't see her at all. Then when we got the food....I got the pulled chicken bbq sandwich. It was next to cold. It sat there so long my bun had sweated and was almost soggy. And it wasn't pulled chicken....was like those little cheap tenders you buy with the grisly fat thing on the end. Yuck. Hubby seemed to like his food, just a cheese burger n homemade chips. Then he was sick all evening after that. Not sure if the burger wasn't good or if it was from the greasy fried chips. We won't be back.

We stopped in for my husband's birthday dinner and it was very busy. Ended up with a booth in the very back right next to the kitchen entrance. We started out with two different kinds of beer, one was on the warm side but delivered quickly to the table. The appetizer of mozzarella logs are the stuff cheese dreams are made of! One is almost to make a meal out of they are so big. The breading was delicious and perfectly cooked. The Brisket is positively devine and quite possibly The Best brisket we've ever had. The taste was delectable and it literally melted in your mouth. The other dish was a burger and tasted exactly like you would expect a home cooked burger to taste. So I'll start with the positive, the atmosphere is top notch for watching a big game. There is also a decent selection of bourbons and beers. Now the bad, the food has substantial room to improve and the quality is not justified by the price. Additionally, the pour of bourbon I received was undersized. It's a good concept, but the radio show's popularity is what seems to be drawing people, and that seems to have made them complacent in other areas.

Nice restaurant and friendly staff, but we had to leave without eating. We decided to leave because we had been seated for a hour and our food had still not arrived. After a hour, our waitress was still not confident that our food would be out soon because the kitchen had gotten "backed up". KSBar is a great place to watch a game with friends. The environment is great! But the environment is the only reason I would go back. The staff was also great - friendly and accommodating. However, the food is over priced for the quality of food. My pulled pork sandwich was cold when it came out and the bun wasn’t toasted or anything. The pretzel bites were hard little nobs and the beer cheese didn’t taste like beer cheese. It tasted like tostitos cheese dip. I hate giving this place a poor rating, but the food simply doesn’t meet the rest of the restaurants standards.

This was our second visit. Our initial visit was very underwhelming with the food taste and quality but decided to give them a pass since they were newly opened. First, love KSR radio show but the restaurant not so much. Visited on 3/10/19 at 6:30. Restaurant was not busy. Waitress was attentive. Ordered two soft drinks and the cheese logs. Food arrived hot and tasty. Then we ordered the bbq chicken salad. Portion was small and the bbq and ranch simply didn’t taste good. The onion rings on top arrived cold and found a leaf stem in the salad. For $13 I would recommend you stay away from this selection. After paying a $30+ bill (including tip) my wife and decided we will not come back. There better choices to watch sports with much better food, Bar Louis’ or Double Dogs, IMO.

We LOVE KSBar!! It is our favorite place to go for casual date night, and we live in NKY! My favorite is the fried banana peppers app (and I hate regular banana peppers lol), the cheese logs app, the cornbread with honey butter (you HAVE to make sure to get it with the honey butter), and the pulled pork! Their wings are awesome, too! Always a great time!

My friend had the sirloin and he said it was the worst steak he ever had .. A1 sauce came in packs wasn't even sure they made it in packs... The ONLY bright spot was the super nice blonde bartender if not for her I rank this place as the worst bar I have ever been in...

Awesome atmosphere, soooo many TVs. Will be the PLACE to watch everything sports in Lexington! The Great American Burger was great, tasted just like a traditional hamburger should, and the beef was cooked perfectly. C-A-T-S!!!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Everything tasted great and the service was so good. Only thing I wish they had was a kids menu and along with that crayons to keep the kids entertained. Also, I’m not sure if they have changing tables in the restrooms for kids. I could be wrong about that though because we were in a hurry when looking and just changed them out in the car. Anyways, my wife and I can’t wait to go back and we will probably just come without the kids next time. You win Matt Jones ;)

OK, I guess, if your expectations arent high going in. I heard the guys on Kentucky Sports Radio talking about this place and, being nearby, decided to give it a try for lunch. Service was quick, but the food wasn't a lot to write home about. I tried the wings, and asked for hot. What I got was a lot of smoke and zero heat. When the bartender asked how it was, I responded "are you sure these are my wings?" She said "oh, the 'hot' wings aren't hot." OK...? I suppose I can say I have been there now; I can't say I am itching to return.

Sports bar with above average food. We've been here a few times and even during the busiest game times the service is solid and the burgers good with really good house made potato chips on the side. If you are trying to eat healthier you can substitute the chips for raw veggies and the serving is generous with a good variety (not just celery sticks). They have a great selection of beers and a full bar with a nice selection of specialty drinks. I tried the shrimp and grits tonight and the dish was surprisingly good. They even have Missy's pies on the menu and that's always a plus. It's a fun place to gather to watch the game or just meet for drinks and a casual meal. Be warned though, it is noisy ( as most bars are) but if you're meeting old friends to catch up it's not the best place for conversation.

Best place to watch any game! Huge group of TVs that form one giant screen (or can be split into 9 different screens). Very cool atmosphere!! Lots of UK memorabilia on the walls! And let's not forget 30 beers on tap (most are local) and great food!

We went last night. We got there early but it got crowded very fast. Our ticket time was ridiculous. Took about 40 minutes for three meals and the other three didn't come out until 10 minutes later. Also my mom ordered a veggie burger to go and got home with a beef hamburger. Food was overpriced in my opinion. My friend chicken fried salad was $14. I could get one for $5 cheaper that is way better. I was very disappointed in our visit food wise. We did have a great waitress!

Went on Saturday night. Out of their signature appetizer, ordered something else, out of it too because they were taking it off the menu, yet received the menu with item listed. Waitress suggested the BBQ combo plate. Got it. Worst I’ve eaten. Brisket tough, ribs burned, pulled pork way over cooked. My wife got a salad that was warm and was told it was sitting under the heat lamp. Love it the first time, this time not so much. Probably won’t go back. Don’t if the cook was mad at the owner or what but the food needs big time help.

I’ve been to this place twice. The first time I got a salad missing crucial ingredients. When I ask why, they said they didn’t have the ingredient in stock. The second time I went, I ordered a dark beer. The waitress brought me an IPA. When I ask why, the bartender said she gave me what she thought I wanted because they didn’t have the beer I ordered. So I guess if you like people given you what they think you want, it’s solid. Otherwise. Hard pass.

Came in after a UK basketball game and during the State High school football games, so the place was packed, with several tables being already reserved. We were still seated quickly. It took a while for our server to get to us, but it was very crowded. Once we got waited on everything from the service to the food was great. Will try again when we are back in town.

Atmosphere is really good! The appetizers are fantastic! However the main dishes I’ve had both times I’ve been have been average. Had a BBQ burger and it was a pretty well done and not much flavor. Then I had a half rack of ribs, where the meat was pretty tough, the meat didn’t fall off the bone and was average flavor.

It was Great!!!! Love the radio show, and the restaurant was a blast, also. We all got different items, and everyone enjoyed their tasty meals. Staff kept drinks full, and bought extra sauces when needed. Even put the tv on "Hey, Kentucky" for us to watch about Jared Lorenzen's passing. We are in town from Raleigh, NC for July 4th, and I have been waiting to visit since the restaurant opened. I am so happy we stopped in tonight!!!!!

I love KSR and listen to it every day. I must say for $83 for 2 people , 1 appetizer (cheese logs) 2 entrees and 6 beers. The table having food on it and trash when we get seated. College girl servers with bad attitudes not smiling or looking engaged as we walked right by the host stand looking for someone to help us. Ill pass and just enjoy from the radio.

Service was good for a while. Food was typical of the sports bar. But somehow after getting the checks and our group started disbanding, my girlfriend and I were forgotten. Almost an hour after the checks were brought to the table, I was able to get the server to fix a mistake on it. Then more waiting. I finally got a different server to get the manager. I told her how long I'd been waiting. And. . . . Nothing. That's right. All the manager did was get the server to finally ring me up. No apology, nada.

Great atmosphere and great food. Definately THE place to go for cheering on the CATS. Taylor J with the bow(her explanation of herself not mine) was an amazing, AMAZING waitress. We had a blast watching the Cats kill the Gamecocks tonight. 5-0 baby! Eat the loaded chips with pork they are the best!
