After reading many reviews, me and my pal, Presley, made a 3 hour drive to “The Keg”. We were seated promptly and were immediately served drinks- tea was sweet, Pepsi was cold. We decided on fried pickles for our appetizer, breading was 10/10 on the pickles.(Servered on lettuce). After reading the review of the warning against the buffalo chicken sandwich, we decided on the French dip sandwich, Mac and cheese bites, loaded baked potatoes, a veggie burger, and friend green beans. The French dip sand which was devine. The Mac and cheese bites, God sent. The loaded baked potato, but they only offered them after 4, luckily it was 4:15, needed more butter and sour cream, but the waitress brought it to us immediately after we asked.The veggie burger was 4.3 stars. Presley had to rearrange the lettuce because it was improperly placed. The fried green beans were out of this world! Lots of condiment options presented on the table. Our waitress danced to the music playing in the restaurant the whole time, which was nice entertainment. My meal was $21 dollars and Presley’s meal was $19. Would be 5 stars but we were charged $0.50 for one slice of cheese.

Since Hoyt Moore bought this establishment, along wth his cousin, The Keg is better than most places to eat, have a good time with others or by yourself!! The original recipes, brought by Mr. Moore, are prepared and brought out to eat, are awesome!!! Love The Keg more than ever! You can dine in (great ambiance) with many or alone. He has an outdoor area to dine or have drinks and appetizers. LOVE This Place!!

We got there early for lunch and had great service, good food, generous portions. Garlic potatoes were real and excellent. Pulled pork was juicy. French fries were the thick kind but we're well cooked. We are from Nashville so the process seemed very inexpensive to us. The desserts on display looked fabulous but my wife vetoed my trying them.

Our hawaiian chicken, friend green beans and fried catfish were good. Maybe include bread with the meal. Mustard, BBQ sauce and ketchup red plastic containers need Simple Green and elbow grease. Prices ok. Will eat closer to front of restaurant next time.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Loaded Keg fries, my fave! Unfortunately, the service is not. My friend and I went at the beginning of March and we sat ourselves. We waited 15 minutes and No one ever waited on us. When we finally got the waitress' attention, she just looked our way and kept on walking. We got up and left after 20 minutes. Sad, we really wanted those Keg chips!

This is the best place to get a fairly priced meal as well as a large and the food is delicious.If you leave the Keg feeling that you did not get enough food it is your own fault. I have never visited the Keg and felt that I did not receive enough food. Large delicious meals at a fair price. The servers are polite and very helpful. Thank You Keg owners and staff.

The keg,well for my first visit, I thought we got treated like at the bottom. Our waitress throwed our menue on the table. She them said without a smile or eye contact, what you want to eat. We were to early for baked potatoes,so we waited for them because they dont serve them till after 4. Then when we ordered we had to wait for refills, steak sauce and after almost finished, we realized we had no bread, they told us they didn't serve rolls till 5 p.m..remind you we got there at 350. Waited on everything, but never was told about any of the delays on the food. So with all being said my flat iron steak was good.

Experience has taught me that when you walk into a dining room and over half the tables aren't cleared from the previous diners, it's not going to be a good experience. I didn't listen to my inner senses and it was not a good experience. The wait staff tried, but were overwhelmed by the crowd on hand. That is on the management for their poor planning. They busted their tails while a guy that appeared to be the manager sat at one of the tables chatting it up with somebody. With that said, there are two things that should happen for every diner: a greeting more than, "have you been waited on?" and "thank you" when leaving the check after charging the card. Not just zipping off after tossing it on the table. Also, it should be a sin for pit-grilled chicken to be dry. Add it all up, this is a place to avoid.

These guys are amazing! I live in Knoxville, TN and they were able to help me plan my mother's surprise 50th bday at their location in Fulton, Ky. We were not an easy bunch to deal with - lots of questions about the menu & pricing, changing the number of guests multiple times, I arrived early to set up, etc. but they were so nice and accomadating! Everyone (hostess, bartenders, cooks, server, etc) was helpful and kind! They truly helped make my mom's bday wonderful. Oh and the food was amazing and you can't beat the price!!!

This may be my last review because I could possibly die from overeating. The Keg has some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. We started off with the broccoli and cheese bites which were pretty much like corn fritters with a different stuffing. They tasted great dipped in ranch or just eaten alone. For my main dish I had the 8oz flatiron steak cooked medium. They nailed it! It was seasoned well and cooked just the way I like it. For sides I had sauted veggies and Mac and cheese bites. I ate every bite and now I'm on the verge of a food coma. I'll definitely be eating at The Keg again in the future.

I have eaten here many times. I'm always trying to get something different on the menu and ensuring I don't eat the same thing. And I have yet to find something sub par. The food is phenomenal the staff is polite, prompt, and more than willing to make you feel welcome. The food is what you would expect from a nice restaurant not just your average bar and grill.

We were informed upon entering, that it would be 15 minutes for a table of 6. We waited for an hour and 15 minutes while they seated a dozen four tops. When my mom started having symptoms of low blood sugar she asked about our table and got no real response to her problem. She asked to speak to the manager and was rudely told "We can't make the people get up!" They got her a coke and we continued to watch people being seated. I think they could have held a table several times to make us a table of six!!! This is the second time we have had a terrible experience at the Keg and we will not be back!!!

Ribs are killer..I took my time, had a cold beer and enjoyed the great food. I've been there twice, actually worked a business trip around this place so I could stop for ribs (they are actually cooked out back in a pit) or that 2" pork chop. ... If you want FAST service, I suggest you hit Denny's - if you want good food... My vote is the Keg.

Really like the place,but that Thursday evening it was really packed in the bar area and they only had one bartender/server so it was like 15/20 minutes before we were acknowledged but time and patient's prevailed...had a great time with my sister, my baby boy and his soon to be wife....
