Horrible place eat at or bring your family!! I use to eat here a lot, but Yesterday when I came in which is June 4, and order my food and my drink which was water there was a bug inside my ice frozen and one at the bottom of my cup I didn’t realize it was there until i finish the whole thing, and when I finished it I open the lid and two my surprise there they was and when I calming told the employees that my food and drink was tainted they acted like they didn’t care at all nothing was said not even sorry the manager was not there so the next day I came up to the store to talk to the manger just to let them know that there stuff had bugs in it and that I’m worry about the safety and health status of the people that’s constantly coming in and eating, he was a smart ass from the start of the conversation I asked him can I be compensated for my food ,I didn’t want the money back just my meal And to see him actually be worried about bugs being in there drinks and food. I know I’m ranting but I’m just very displeased with this establishment

Best fried chicken in Louisville (my opinion) and a bunch of locations. Delicious, southern soul food type eats. Chicken comes either regular or spicy, which has just the right amount of zing. Potato wedges are spicy and thick. Greens, mac and cheese, and sweet potatoes amount other sides along with rib tips and different fried fish selections.

The chicken is decent, if order a 4 piece meal and and extra side, which is a more than $10 total, I should be able to get a little hot sauce without being made to pay a significant amount extra. This is ridiculous, and I probably won't be returning. Congratulations Restuarant Manager, you are both penny foolish and pound foolish, A $0.37 hot sauce cost you a $10+ ticket return customer.

This place gets 5 stars for its food, but 3 for service. I saw on Google that this place was supposed to open at 10 on Sundays, so I scheduled just enough time to stop in and grab some food on the way through errands. It did not open at 10, and by 10:15 I gave up and left. So did several other customers. Unprofessional!

My daughter and I went to Indi on 3rd Street, and our order was placed at 6:33 P.M. We were having meal for 10 people so we ordered a lot of food. We had been there before., however, this time our order took 45 minutes because everyone who came in after us got their chicken, etc., first. We ordered two sides of macaroni and cheese as two of our sides. After we waited 45 minutes, when we got home we realized we had one side of macaroni and cheese and one order if greens, which we didn't request. Or course, that was $80.00 later. I asked the lady behind the counter how it was coming several times and she said "It's cooking honey", I can't serve the chicken off the line. What the hell does that mean. Why couldn't the other people wait a few minutes, instead of us having to wait 45 minutes? This was after at least 30 minutes after the order that I asked.. Again, EVERYONE behind us was getting served almost immediately. Also, we requested 11 paper plates and never got one. I guarantee you, the next time I come into town, Indi will not even be considered for our meal. Nor, ever again. The only reason I gave them one star is that the post wouldn't allow 0.

The 3rd Street Indi's is the best fried chicken in Louisville. Yes, it's hit and miss as far as employee attitudes; however, I have never had an experience with outright rudeness or horrible professionalism at this location. So far as price goes, it's a lower price than other chicken places in town and the food is better quality. Unfortunately, it's also the only Indi's from which I will purchase food. The Dixie Highway location does not rotate the food and customer service is horrible. The Fern Valley Road location also has horrible customer service and every single time I have been in there or someone from work has brought food back from that location, the chicken has been undercooked.

Food as normal was excellent!! I always stop at Indi's on the way through Louisville. The service here was nice and rude. The black woman ringing everyone up was awesome, fast, and thankful for the business. The white woman with reddish brown hair putting my order together was very very rude. She was very put out that I asked for butter and plates. She said I had to pay for it. I have to pay for plates when I just spent 27.83 OMG!! No silverware either. OMG!!

Indi's used to have flavor spices in their coating for wedges and chicken. But now all they do is make it hot without using flavor spices. Indi's is supposed to be flavored like the West Indies food, and includes flavorful spices as well as hot spices. Too bad they changed the recipe.
