Really tasty burgers and fries. If you like 5 Guys, you'll like Home Run. It would have been 5 stars, but deduct 1 because it is rather expensive for what you get. Granted the quality is excellent, but this isn't the place to go for under 10 dollars for lunch.

The burgers here were extremely greasy lack much of any Flavour. Got the blue cheese burger and the blue cheese had about as much flavor is feta cheese does. Was looking forward to good cajun fries and was not sure if they just dumped a whole bottle of seasoned salt on them. The people working there were very nice I just wish the quality of the food actually match the quality of the employees

The burger was great. A little pricier than I would have liked... Fries were real good too. The reason I only gave it a 4 star, and not 5... The girl working the cash register had a poor attitude. I asked a question about toppings, and she managed to roll her eyes at me. Other than that, my daughter and I enjoyed our meals.

It was an unexpected surprise. I really like it. The Fish was magnificent. This owner has at least 60 years in this type of business. He's the one that originally started Hungry Pelican. He goes all the way back to 1954 as far as cooking and being in the Restaurant business. So what you have here is quality and integrity. I saw such a variety of people and different age groups. An extra order of green chile (2 orders total) on a single American cheeseburger & a large order of 'regular' fries and you'll find yourself equidistant between San Antonio, NM's Owl Bar & heaven (possibly a little closer to the Owl!). Home Run have GREAT staff, freshly prepared grub in a clean diner setting. Reasonably priced QUICK carryout! We carryout often & have yet to be disappointed.

Home run burgers and fries has a favorite old fashioned cheeseburgers hamburgers fries drinks. Very clean very good customer services very good food. One thing I like the most are there fries I will come here just to eat fries they're delicious. They are bergenline up is doubles tripper All-Star lineup home run classic burger and my favorite Cajun fresh fries Mama t's favorites the Heater. Also they have fish sandwiches chicken sandwiches they have a little something for everyone here.

Very unprofessional person as a cashier and order taker. Walked up and she barked "eat here or carry out". No eye contact or greeting and appeared to be angry that i was even there. Gave my carry out order and when home found that the order was incorrect with the toppings that I had to repeat to her 3 times. Not a good representation of customer service.

Their handcut fries (which, BTW, 'ride' FAR better than *S'nS's) make up the difference! If you're heading to *S'nS, hang a right & give this locally owned/operated spot a shot. *Steak 'n Shake

Lets start with a good ole hot dog. How can you mess that up? They sure did! The bun was hard as a rock which means it's either seriously old or microwaved too long. The dog itself wasn't even hot! Neither were the fries. Yuck. How can you expect repeat business when serving such poor quality food? This was my first, and last, visit to Homerun.

It's very similar to a Five Guys. The burger I had was really good, especially the bun. The fries were also good; however, the milkshake was absolutely terrible. It might be a good place to bring a large group of kids. I'm glad I went once, but probably won't go again.

Must have gotten Best of Louisville on their fries, wasn't the burger or the bun. Brag the burger is "certified angus beef" not impressed! Go back to the one you had a year or two ago, or find out what WW Cousins uses. Going back to WWC.

Not a homerun. Place was clean, staff was pleasant but food was not good. I've had better food at burger king and white castle. The burger I received didn't look anything like the photo, it was a soggy mess. I mean with a bun that was falling apart it was so soggy. Also ordered cheese fries, which were also a soggy greasy mess. I dislike fries which are not crispy, so maybe that's my problem. These fries were not crispy at all, they were a complete ball of goo. Price was ok- but not great for food which would be served better at steak&shake. Decided to try it, ok done but will not be back. Worst upper class type burger place I've ever been, seriously. I know that sounds harsh, but it was a first visit and homerun served food which must have been run through a wet greasey dugout. Nothing special about these burgers unless you count extra soggy as a topping. Never had food this bad served at any other burger place. Took a chance, waste of $9 For the owner- location was shelbyville road shopping center- if that helps.

Being vegetarian, it's always appreciated having an option on the menu. Their veggie burgers are excellent, especially when compared to other restaurants. Lots of additional toppings and sauces at no extra cost is a bonus as well. Fries have always been fresh, and a large is big enough to share with another person. We've never had a bad experience at the Stonybrook location and would recommend to others.

OMG the food is bomb. My first time eating here and the saying you get what you pay for is especially true for this. Food made fresh, it's juicy, you get more than enough (I had to make myself eat all of it) I paid about $25 for 2 double cheese bacon combo meals and you build it as you want and customer service was great also. Will definitely be coming here again

I appreciated the manager at Home Run who helped me use an old Amazon Local voucher! The burgerz were absolutely delicious. Definitely want to mention the abundance of flavor in the jalepeno burger - outstanding. I mentioned on Yelp that the counter employee was, shall we say, a man of few words, which if used expeditiously is acceptable, but usually not in a customer service position. It may have been an "off" day. My only other caveat to HomeRun is your floor was really slippery. I wire athletic shoes and still was a bit tenuous. Needs a good degreasing so no one falls. Your food, though, makes up for anything else. Well done!

I was disappointed that a combo meal cost me 10$. The sandwich was good, but cost prohibitive for me on a budget. That said, the sandwiches are made fresh to order, very flavorful and have a choice of over 20 toppings for free. The casual atmosphere is relaxing and I felt in no hurry to eat and run. The name reflects the decor inside with a baseball themed menu board along with the requisite baseball posters. Good place to eat, just a bit high @21$ for lunch with the wife. If you desire a handmade patty of beef, cooked fresh, hit a home run here.

The head supervisor is very rude to her customers and some of her staff. There always seems to be difficult rude people here when I come who are harassing the cashier. The atmosphere feels unhappy and stressed. I feel bad for the people who work here and hope them the best.

First time in after searching for hot dogs around the area, and it was a great choice! The menu can seem like a lot but you're guaranteed to find something. For a hamburger and hot dog combo was $18 and that's a great price for the selection and walking away full.

This was my first visit! Food was good but a little pricey over $11 for a combo. Burger was messy but that is expected. Looked like it was the manager that took my order. He was pleasant to me but after transaction while I was standing there he started questioning one of the employees about why the register was $10 short! I consider that unprofessional to deal matters as such in front of customers. Staff appeared unhappy and had an attitude that portrayed they didn't care about their jobs! May go back again when I feel rich enough to splurge on high priced Burgers.Those are definitely "Ball Park" prices. Never saw anything there about all the free toppings offered. Oh well....I heard.....I saw....I tried! Good hangout I guess for all the children dropped off at Stony Brook Theaters. I prefer Culvers for the money!

First time there... clean, nice staff, *outstanding* fries, good burger. On the other hand, I found the rolled oyster repugnant and for me at least, inedible. It consisted of deep fried clod of batter with two basically raw oysters lost inside. Next time I'll stick with a burger!

I have been here twice, once on each of my trips to Louisville. Personally this blows Five Guys out of the water and you get much more than what they would provide. The choices are plentiful and the customization is bar none! Food was full of flavor and wasn't that greasy at all (it is a burger, expect a little grease). And I'm a sucker for Cajun fries. If and when I come back to Louisville, I will be making another stop here.

This is my husband's favorite restaurant. Instead of going somewhere fancy for his birthday he always chooses Home Run Burger and Fries. Every time I go I'm always amazed at the small amount of people in there. As good as this place is you would think it would stay busy all the time. I guess it's just a hidden little gem.
