Kinsey was Amazing had my drink refilled before I ever even knew it was getting low... The pancakes are HUGE and actually taste REALLY good even without syrup and butter... The grits are REAL grits and you get a pretty large portion! It was all and all Amazing I will be back again and again! Thanks y'all!

This place is great! Our burgers were cooked to perfection, dressed how we liked and super tasty. Buns were toatsted! I am very picky about my burgers but this place was definitely a 5 star feed. Veronica was our waitress and I recommend sitting in her section. She was quick to the table with drinks and food order was taken correctly the first time. The Diner was very busy but we were tended to promptly. Clean and friendly environment. We recommend this Diner and approve the friend green tomatoes and burgers!! Thank you Veronica!

Really cute. I've heard from many people that their food was great so I decided to go in and try it with my husband and mom. I ordered a seafood basket and cod, fried clams, and shrimp with onion rings and Mac and cheese. IT WAS AMAZING. Hands down the best Mac and cheese around. The portions are huge too. Definitely good pricing for the amount of food you get. Totally recommend!

Good food, comfortable atmosphere, quiet surroundings. Service was excellent and the food preparation was quick. Well worth the stop. My wife enjoyed her meal (steak w/brown gravy, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob - I just had a double cheeseburger with bacon). Enjoyed the meal with one exception and it was a minor one: the portion of fries was a tad on the small side.

Bean soup and cornbread was pretty good. Collard greens chopped like kale. Ahem. Small portion at that. Fried potatoes was fried chopped day-old baked potatoes. Yuck. $9.29 total.

It's comfort food. 95 percent of the time It's good and every once in a while it's not. Like today my grilled tenderloin was tough other times its been great. I would recommend this place. They have good desserts too.

Been here twice now. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The service was good and the food was okay. There is always a wait at the door yet nothing I have ordered really stood out as really good. The side salad was plain, everything I've had has been plain. Its not like the food was bad, it wasn't. It just didn't stand out either.

Server was very rude. Kept making comments on my ears and tattoos. I'm not a snowflake but I don't really feel like being harrassed when I go somewhere and pay to eat. I don't care that you'd rip your son's ear off if his was like mine. Lol. Food was great and everyone else was very friendly. That chicken fried chicken was great!

Friendly service, the breakfast was excellent. Steak and eggs cooked to perfection, biscuits with gravy. The gravy was the correct consistency. Cheesy buttery grits and wake me up coffee, delicious. So if your tired of chain restaurants, give this diner a try you won't be disappointed.

This place is amazing! Great food and hospitality! Our waitress was so kind and thoughtful. She kept checking on us often and kept our drinks full. Our order was even kind of complicated but she didn't miss a beat! We even had a table of 8...Her name was kenzie... Stop by and be sure to ask for her if you want great and quick service with a little southern hospitality!! I LOVE this place!

I just moved to the Hillview area and saw this place. I have to tell you the menu isn't big but it doesn't have to. I had the biscuit and gravy with coffee and it was awesome. The waitress was very nice and friendly and the place was very cozy. I will be back to try some of their other tantalizing menu items.

1st time here. Service was rude and slow. I couldn't get a refill of water without flagging down two people. I know businesses get busy and people have bad days, however when more than one person is rude and dismissive it's hard to enjoy your experience. The reason this is not a one star review is because there was one employee that was working very hard and picking up the slack for the others, and the food was okay. I didn't get to experience her service, but it was obvious she was trying and I appreciate that. I don't think I will ever go back.

You go there and find your own seat 95% of the time which is good so you kind of can pick. Got a little bit of everything one of the few places that still have liver and onions. I would recommend the fried pork chops because they're pork chops and they're fried and they're good. Some days it's really packed but even when it's packed it's still isn't a long wait.

This is normally a very nice place to get breakfast, but I went for lunch today and was not impressed. The cod tasted very plain. The fries were not heated to temperature. After my waitress brought my food I did not see her again until I was finished eating. No drink refill, no asking if everything was ok, etc. The waitress serving the other tables was great. I'm not sure I will be back for lunch again.
