Beautiful views of the lake. Food was great. Be prepared to wait on a Saturday evening. We waited 30 mins to be seated. Buffet style. Would recommend.

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience for dinner here. After placing our order we went to get our salads off the salad bar, which had no lettuce. It took 15 minutes for them to bring out the lettuce & they did not fill the salad dressing. We waited over an hour for our appetizer to come out when there were only 3-4 other tables in the whole restaurant. It took an additional 20 minutes for our dinner & by then our server left for the night. When our food came out my father & daughter had ordered the grilled chicken for $10.50 which was about 3 ounces. My catfish was completely raw in the middle. The instant potatoes were cold as well. It was a disaster. The only reason I gave it two stars was because they comped our meal, which given the circumstances should have happened.

Weekend buffet is delicious. Food choices are slightly limited but all great American choices. Gotta eat the deserts too. Blackberry cobbler was as good as can be. Sorry no photos.

We love to try new places to eat. So when heard about Harbor light we decided to celebrate our Anniversary there. I cannot really describe how horrible the meal was. I could not eat any meat for the way they were cooked, fish was hard from overcooking, chicken had no batter on it no flavor whatsoever, grilled pork was dry and tasteless. I did love the grilled veggies but that was all I ate. I decided since I was paying 15.00 I would have a salad, lettuce was near empty and limp. I told my husband we have had some bad experiences but this had to be the worse place we had ever been too. Also I cannot tell you how many tables were piled with dirty dishes. I sure wish I had gone with my gut feeling and left. But decided to give it a chance. Never again and I will make sure no one else wastes their money there either.

Excellent service! We ate dinner here and the food was good and the view was awesome. Great place to take the family or just enjoy a dinner for 2. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience tonight. Just a side note, the guest check-in staff for the lodge was also very friendly and accommodating. Thank you all for a great weekend.

They have the rudest waitresses and hostess on morning shift that I have ever in my life encountered. I will never return because of them. I've advised all of my friends and family to avoid this restaurant because of them. The food was great but the ladies that serve you will ruin anyone's appetite.

We had a good Birthday party for my wife's brother. We had the food bar which had a lot of choices. There was catfish, cajun catfish and frog legs just to name a few items. Prices are reasonable and staff was friendly.

Stopped there for a late lunch. We were the only customers in the place. The service was good. We ordered a draft beer which was a local brew advertised as a special. When the waitress brought the beers we we're dissiapointed. They were flat, no carbination at all. I called her back over to tell her about the beer. She had to take them to a supervisor to see if she would be allowed to replace them. In the course of the conversation she says that the beer was left over from a party. That lead me to believe the leftover beer had sat there too long and should have been disposed of. She was given the go ahead to replace our drinks with bottled beer. We both ordered a KY Hot Brown Sandwich, which I had always wanted to try. I thought it was OK, but my husband thought it was a little dry. The restaurant was clean and has a beautiful view. Maybe we we're just there on an off day. Probably won't go back.

It had been a couple years since our last visit, and we were pleasantly surprised by the increased selections available on the buffet. There were five meats available. The deep fried pigs in a blanket very good. The fresh fruit really good as well. It was a really good breakfast buffet. All items were well stocked throughout our meal. We made a good choice today.

We have stopped here occasionally over the past few years and always found it to be a pleasant experience. The setting is beautiful, and it seems we have always managed to arrive when they are not too crowded, so we could get a seat by the big windows that look out over the lake and the marina. There are bird feeders in the lawn there and it's entertaining to watch the birds as they come and go, too. All of our visits have been at lunch time, so we have mostly had sandwiches and that sort of thing. Today I had bacon, cheese, and tomato sandwich on toasted bread that was simply outstanding, with three types of cheeses. Their home-made potato chips are excellent. Those and a nice, big slice of dill pickle as accompaniment to a sandwich make for a great lunch. The staff is courteous and attentive. Today they made a small error in our bill (mistakes happen, everyone does it) and it was quickly and courteously corrected. We had asked for a "to go" box to take a bit of our leftover sandwiches with us, then managed to walk off without it. We remembered when we got upstairs and my wife went back down to the restaurant, and they had taken it up to the front desk of the restaurant where it was waiting for us. Just a nice little touch of thoughtfulness. A great place to stop for a meal while exploring this beautiful area.

Very good lakeview restaurant that offers a small menu of home food staples such as hot brown open face or ham and cheese sandwiches. The soup and salad bar was to everyone's liking. Loved the buffalo chili while the rest of my party raved over broccoli cheese soup. The salad bar is extensive and the items are fresh. The menu includes higher end entrees for heartier appetites with a decent selection of alcoholic beverages. The signs directing people to the restaurant need to be more prominent on the way to the business through the lodge. Crowds are rare I believe even locals are not cognizant of the business, its menu, and its hours of operation.

It's a hidden gem in the Kentucky Lake and LBL area. The best views of the lake and almost empty in the off season. The quality of food and tranquility of the lake views are unmatched.

This place has the most wonderful best best breakfast and let me be clear breakfast buffet!!!! when you see how much stuff is made literally the pile of bacon probably cost $300 and I keep everything fully stocked and fresh, this place doesn't really advertise a lotbut I wouldn't consider this I hole-in-the-wall place it's very very beautifuland you have a view of Kentucky lake when you are eating they also have outdoor dining areas as well not to mention the gift shop if the kids are wanting something lol!!! This is a MUST for family breakfast!!!!!!

We went on a weeknight. The place was dead. The views are nice, but the service was a bit sketchy. The lady that seated us didnt even give us the right menu. Our actual server tried his best. The food was okay. The buns seemed a little stale. The computers were also down; so, I had to go get my check book to pay. They seemed VERY disorganized. I wont make a 2nd trip.

Harbor lights is overpriced for the subpar food and it's difficult ( near impossible)finding a server to get you a drink refill or anything for that matter. It took her almost 25 minutes to bring our soda's when we first arrived. We waited over an hour for our meal which was ccold and not even right. We waited up by the hostess stand for at least 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to show up so we could try and pay because our server never returned after bringing our food (an entire hour). We were also concerned with the high school age girls or they were at least under 20 and a day who were serving alcohol and behind the bar making drinks. I was under the impression that was illegal. Overall, the experience was just awful. It's a shame too, because it once was the best place to eat and was completely full every night and now under the new management, the place has became a ghost town. I hope they can turn things around!!

I would have to say the exact same thing as the previous person. A horrible dinner experience. The manager Kristen took our order and she was very rude and said I was too difficult... Terrible for customer service... if you have chicken cordon bleu on the menu you should be able to produce that when it’s ordered. Kristen the manager said that it’s supposed to be off the menu, we just have old menus. Ok that would be understandable if you didn’t serve grilled chicken for a meal, and the hot brown has ham and white cheese... all things you have prepared and ready, why making a chicken cordon bleu would be so difficult is beyond me. So I ordered the grilled chicken added ham, added white cheese basically got what I wanted but paid $18 for what you have on your menu as a chicken cordon bleu for $13. I don’t care about paying more but I don’t like to be talked to so disrespectfully. Terrible customer service.

Two times there. First time it took forever to get waited on after being seated. A very unfriendly hostess. Second time, the same unfriendly hostess, plus a live band that was so loud it made it impossible to communicate with one another while dining. Bottom line... Never again!

I dined at the Harbor Lights Restaurant several times during my stay at Kentucky Dam Village Resort. Many of the dinners, luncheons were held there. Sometimes we would go there for lunch as a group. I attended a ladies tea that was catered by Harbor Lights. They served finger sandwiches made with chicken salad and home made pimento cheese, a cheese platter with assorted crackers, mini lemon, raspberry and chocolate cheesecakes, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies and chocolate covered strawberries. They also have a decent salad bar with bison chili, chicken fajita soup and chicken Florentine soup. It’s really an alright place to eat that’s not to expensive and you don’t have to drive very far to get there.

Hidden downstairs of the Lodge allows you to enjoy your meal with a beautiful view overlooking the lake. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner so it's convenient to have a nice meal regardless of the time of day. They also offer a full bar with great drinks! We really enjoyed our two trips to this place while on vacation. The staff was very hospitable and made us feel at home. The buffet was great. Only once did a couple of the items run down, and were replaced immediately. And the view- very nice! Watched as two cranes walked nearby. Took a digestive walk down by the lakes after dinner, very enjoyable
