It was super good!!!! I got the omo-rice and I couldn’t have asked for it to taste any better. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and great staff it was a great way to spend my 16th birthday!!!! They honestly should get more customers it’s delicious!!

Talk about a turnaround. Last time I was here (I believe it was December 2016) the wait time was over 2 hours for food, the service was poor, and the food was cold (the wings were still delicious, however). Well, that was then... I gave them a second chance tonight and they delivered. The service was excellent, quick (on a Saturday night!) and the food was outstanding...and yes, warm (and generous portion wise for the price). The Texas Fireman sushi is the best roll I've had in my life, it was the star of the meal. I will definitely be back again for sure. Kudos to an establishment that never stopped working to get better, the effort shows.

My husband and I really enjoy this place! We were so excited to find a Korean place in Owensboro. Flavors are great and I feel that the portions are pretty big. Prices are comparable with other places based on the meat you order. Staff are super friendly, and always make us feel so welcome, even when we bring our 9 month old with us (which can turn into a circus). Family friendly but a nice little spot for date night too. I'd be okay if they turned down the music videos in the background though. Or during specific hours play more chill music without the videos on the screen.

This rating has fallen twice, i am REALLY disappointed. Ok lets break down why. So i come in, not really sure what to expect. I am not new to korean food, i had 2 roommates from college that were korean. I was give a menue with names of food, they meant nothing to me. However i ordered a dish, the only one, from the Tradional section of the the menue. I gambled, i knew that, and was ok with it. My order in, I wait half reading a book and texting a friend. I get the shop provided appetizer, kimchi. I honestly expected bad kimchi because of my love North Korean style kimchi (his family had fled south during the war). However it was okish. My dish was also ok, not bad, not great my any streach. There was a small mixup as to what i order, want to stress small. My criticism is rather the time over food. After i ate my meal, a thin small egg like pizza with 5 or 6 shrimp and veggies on it, it tasted fine though. I placed a order of rice still being hungry. That took about 20-25 mins. Oh i had two waitresses by the way, one took the rice order, the other clearly wondered why i was still there. she said she would check on it when she ask me if i need my check yet, 10 mins went by. I drank my tea and felt like a man on display. Others came order, got food, the rice comes and the waitress, my first oneI eat it, its ok. Then i wait for my check, and wait.... Finally it comes. One of the waitresses says i will be right back, you pay me, or something along those lines. I though oh ok great i can leave soon... Nope 5-7 real minutes till she comes, l accually held my card and check in both hands hoping someone would notice the poor slob needing to leave. I met eyes with the hostess, why they need one that time of day I am unsure. however she was no hope either.

Tried giving this restaurant a 2nd chance. Visited the Evansville restaurant on Main Street and the food was sub-par. (there is currently not a listing for this restaurant in Evansville so leaving my review here) I would have much rather went to Zuki or Jaya's, which are located nearby. I tried giving this place a 2nd chance and went there for drinks with a few friends. There were not very many people there and I waited ~5-10 minutes at the bar for drinks. Never was acknowledged, so our group just went next door to Backstage and had a good time. Waiting for this place to close their doors so something better can take its place.

Love it! The food is good, though the chicken fried rice was a little boring (my fault for that). The atmosphere is very interesting, and I love it! Service was not the best I've ever had, but she was pretty busy, and they're trying to get more server staff.

Kind of feels more like a club then a resteraunt. A little more cost than Wasabi but it's acceptable for something nobody else offers. I've eaten only a sample and i have to say, i hope gangnam stays around awhile so i can come back in the future.

Food was very good. Service was friendly, but lacking. I received and consumed my entire meal before my wife received her appetizer! She even brought the wrong appetizer to our table and left it. We knew it was not ours and a few minutes later she realized her mistake, came back and picked it up off our table and took it to the correct table. If it been ours I would have refused it. Sorry, just being truthful

This authentic and experimental Korean restaurant is the first true Korean dining experience in the area ever and it doesn't disappoint. Having been to many Korean restaurants and received the benefit of actual Korean home cooking, this experience and food ranks among the best of them. Their sushi, Bibimbap, BBQ, unlimited Poncha's (taster sides), and everything else was beyond what I had expected. I will definitely be making this a regular spot to visit when I want a phenomenal dining expereince!!!

Great prices, atmosphere, and service. The sushi is competitively priced with other "sushi" restaurants in town, with traditional flavors. Very refreshing to dine at an authentic, non-americanized, restaurant. I definitely suggest the Ramyun soup, it is amazing.

Definitely very much worth checking out, either at their Evansville location or the one in Owensboro (which is where these pictures are from). So we found this Gym in Owensboro, and I must say probably one of the best ones here. The service was great, the food was even better, and I just hope people come here. My only real complaint was they had CNN on in the bar area, YUCK! Aside from that, it was very delicious food, and service was good too. Their food's taste is very flavorful and robust, and they play k-pop music videos making the overall atmosphere unique, enjoyable, and fun. I had the Ramyun, I was expecting the noodles may have been higher quality, but seems they were some 39 cent instant ramen noodles, the broth and accommodating egg/meat more than made up for the noodles. Loved the dumplings and kimchi bibimbap. Will come again for sure, next time I'll ask for them to turn off CNN lol.

This was a nicel and unique restaurant. They have some good Korean EDM music playing in the background and the owner is nice and very passionate about the food they serve. At first we didn't know what to order and he recommended we did dinner for 2, which came with an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Those chicken wings... WOW!! Best chicken wings ever, may I say. Very gracious on the sauce and well seasoned. The kimchi bowl is Awesome. Pictures are below! Will visit again when I can.

The free appetizers were mediocre. I'm not a fan of seeing food being heated up in the microwave at a restaurant. They could have used another chef in the kitchen, as ours had to make the sushi and entree. Luckily there were only 3 other people eating there, otherwise I'm not sure how long it would have taken to get our food. The food was delicious though. The sushi was fresh, and the bulgogi was fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly as well. No complaints about the cleanliness of the restaurant either. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

The staff here are very friendly and VERY accommodating. I had some off the menu requests and they seemed more than happy to make them for me. I ordered김밥, 순두부찌개, and 떡볶이. It was all amazing. Warning: They didn't make traditional 떡볶이. They made 짜장떡볶이. It was SIMPLY amazing! I WILL be going back when I visit Owensboro again!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch today. Since he travels for work we find ourselves eating at a lot of new places. I have to say this place was amazing! First of all don't leave without trying the Korean style wings. They are they best wings I have had in a very long time. They also brought out several small dish appetizers for us to try and I also ordered a ginger salad. For our main course my husband had the pork Japchae and I had the beef. Both were great with good flavor and the meat was tender. Our server Julian was friendly and helped us go over the menu choices. We will without a doubt be back the next time we are in town. A must try for anyone bored with the everyday restaurants.

I absolutely love it at Gangnam. The food is 5 stars. The sushi is always fresh and the deep fried rolls come out hot, not lukewarm like other places in Owensboro. I get the beef bibimbap every time along with a sushi roll. You can't go wrong with it I promise you!
