The hostess was amazing! Very sweet young lady! When we first got there the bar looked like it had not been refreshed in a bit. However before I had finished my salad, the pizzas were rolling out. The slices I had were good. The dining room was clean. The bar area was clean. I have only two issues one the sweet balls need a dipping sauce. Also u saw a girl go up to the pasta bar to get it. She looked on her plate and found something on her pasta and threw it back into the water. I was going to say something to the hostess but her mom came and fixed another plate. So she got whatever it was in the pasta. We will definitely go back!

A neighborhood gem. I don't know how I missed this place for three years. Very friendly people, super tasty pizza. I tried a little of everything, and it was all good. Ten bucks including tax. It even smells like the neighborhood pizza joint. I'll definitely be back.

Came here on 3/9/19 while in the area on a load with my job. For the price you can't beat it $10 for pizza buffet and drink. Pizza was great and so was the taco soup. Never once while I was there did I see a pizza pan with only 1or 2 slices left on it, unlike some pizza buffet places I have been to our even empty spots for that matter. The Veggie pizza was awesome with the Oregano on it. Cheesy/Bacon potatoes could have had more cheese on them. Staff is very friendly and place was clean even with it pouring outside on day I was there. I would recommend this place to people most definitely. Keep up the great work Fat Jimmy's, I will be back when ever I am in area and want pizza that's for sure. First time vistor..Affordable and reasonable price. The selection of pizza and sides are a little short on variety thats why the 3 stars but , you get what you pay for..They served chilli which i thought was a unique touch considering its a pizza buffet. Customer service was friendly everyone greeted and smiled decent place for a bite to eat and the atmosphere is inviting for family and friends..!oh and the chocolate chip cookies are very good!!

Went for the buffet. The staff was very friendly & asked if I had any requests for a specific pizza. When I finished my salad, my pizza was ready. The salad bar is small & they only have a couple of pasta options. Anyway, it's really about the pizza, which is quite good. They kept at least 8 hot & fresh pizzas out. The butter garlic balls, hot bread with icing, & cookies were all tasty, too. The dining area is tables & chairs with a few booths. Nothing fancy, but it looked very clean & they kept the used dishes picked up.

Our favorite pizzeria. We have a family tradition to go there every father's day. It has become the place to meet when the extended family gets together. Great buffet with lots of choices. Great price too. You will never leave there hungry.

Nice laid back family atmosphere. Just the place for hungry kids and stressed parents. We didn’t get any side eye looks or judged for being a little over messy and loud with a party of 8, 5 of which were crazy kids. I was impressed at the variety of options on the buffet, quality of food, and astonishing price. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Def would come back again.

Absolutely the best pizza buffet I have ever been to. I'm from South Carolina so I am by no means a local, but my family and I really liked the food here and were very happy with this place. Pizza is fresh with a nice thin crust. Ingredient quality is superb. And they have Coke Zero! The guy working there greeted us with a smile. I wish I could move this place to SC!

An amazing pizza spot. They have a buffet or a take out option. Fat Jimmy is always on site, working in the kitchen to make sure his name and brand are kept up to par. Coloring sheets for the kids and also a chalk board wall for you and your kids to doodle on! TV's always have recent sports playing and make sure you try their Fat Rolls.

Stopped in this afternoon for my nephews birthday. Everything was absolutely delicious, service was excellent! Food was fresh and hot. Price is very very reasonable and I honestly don’t think I could find a better deal in town. I will definitely be back again and again! A++++++

Best pizza buffet ever! The staff are so friendly and helpful! You have the classics but also plenty of different flavors like bbq chicken (which is my favorite). You can even request they cook a pizza, and they will gladly do it. You also have pasta and salad to choose from as well as garlic knots, cinnamon knots, and cookies.

My friends eat at Fat Jimmy's often, but I personally dislike the pizza more than any other pizza I've eaten. It's too thin, not enough toppings, and bland, not even a bargain at $10.00. But, then again, you might be more like my friends. Try it, and decide for yourself.

My husband took me here for the first time tonight and oh.my.gosh am I in love. First of all, the super casual interior is fun, cozy and welcoming...there's a chalk wall for kids, and a table with coloring sheets and crayons to take to their table... The pizza was seriously some of the BEST I have had on Louisville, and I've lived here for almost 11 years now. The Tito's pizza was my jam. But, beyond the food, the affordable prices, the awesome selection, the atmosphere and the fun family friendly environment, was the AMAZING customer service. The manager and the owners son were the two working tonight and they were so sweet and kept checking on everyone in the dining area making sure there weren't any types of pizzas they needed or wanted, asking if everything was good, they even sent us home with some pizza since they were about to close. The kindness and charm and attention to customers was by far the most wonderful thing about Fat Jimmy's. We will definitely be back!

They keep their selection fresh and rotated. Clean restaurant including the restrooms. Come here if you want good pizza, because you will be sure to leave full. Good value for the money.

My first time here. We arrived around 4:30, only one other customer there who was finishing up. Salad and soup were fine. Pasta looked dried out, so didn't try. Root beer syrup/CO2 mix wasn't quite right; sweet tea was fine. Cookies were good. At least 7 pizzas on the buffet, all full or nearly full, plus cheese bread (a lot for few to no customers). How many hours old were they? 1, 2, since lunch? I don't know, but they certainly looked and tasted dried out and old. I should have asked for fresh pizza, but for my first time here, I wasn't certain what the standard was. As we were finishing, more people came in and fresh pizzas showed up. I tried a slice. Much improved and more cheese than the pizzas they replaced, which gave the appearance they cater to meal time crowds and slight those in-between. How much contempt do you have to have for your customers to let them pay for and eat horrible pizza. My advice: Instead of making 7 or 8 pizzas for the dead time between lunch/dinner, make 2, quartered with the toppings of the 8 pizzas, or halved with the toppings of 4 pizzas. And throw them away every hour and make new ones. Ask the few customers you get between meal times what they like in order to augment the few pizzas on the bar with specific half & half pizzas. Or don't offer buffet pizza outside of mealtimes. And though I admit now that I should have asked for fresh pizza, (Fat Jimmy's) please don't tell me that that's what I should have done (as you've done in other reviews). It's not just the customers responsibility to ensure they get quality food, it's primarily yours. And you didn't.

I gave Fat Jimmy's 3 stars because of the friendly staff and the chocolate chip cookies, but I could never be a repeat customer. The place has a clean, cozy family atmosphere. Caters to school kids into sports. Can get crowded accordingly. Overall is a nice hangout with a friend or two. Mostly 70-80s rock music playing not too loud. Now the food and prices. We go there at least once a week. Buffet and 2 drinks from the fountain $20. Salad is fresh as if you would make it at home. They have soup of the day and pasta too. Pizzas of different types, plain, pepperoni, beef, vegetable, pineapple, etc. Not the greatest but good. Dessert choices are cinnamon bread sticks, choc chip cookies and choc pudding. Haven't had any other food as buffet alone is very good overall. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great place.

Surprisingly really good. $10 gets you a buffet that includes the normal pizza staples, as well as soup and salad options and a drink. Even at 2pm the pizza was fresh, which is a nice change from other pizza buffets I've been to in the past. Really friendly staff, clean environment. Wow, just wow! Right here posting this review and the pizza is just awesome! I love the all meat pizza, the sausage, and the pepperoni pizzas. I like the cheese as well. My only problems with the place is… NONE! The service was just nice, nice, and all nice. I like the Pibb they have at the drink fountain. Right up there with Papa John’s. Wish they could do delivery pizza too. The cookies taste good. 10 out of 5!
