The food here is always good. So is the service. They make you feel like a regular customer even when you are not. Many times the place is full. You may sometimes have a few minutes wait especially on the weekends. Definitely worth it,!

I had breakfast and it was good. But there was a wild kid running all over the place and being very loud. I think he was the waitresses kid. I don't want to pay to watch a kid being bad. I will not be back.

This place is amazing! Not only did I have a incredible cheeseburger at their restaurant, they managed to do some last minute catering for our wedding. Shelia and her crew were amazing and made our big day the same. The roast beef was incredible. I recieved so many compliments on the food! The DJ even stated it was one of the best meals he'd eaten and he did over 100 weddings last year. I can't thank nor recommend family's enough. You guys are incredible!

We had been riding all day and we're tired and hungry so we decided to go through Walton to go to Family's Main Street Cafe. They were having an annual car show so they were closed for business. However they had provided hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw and drinks for the people attending the car show. Wouldn you believe they offered us to eat as well! They make the best hamburgers in Northern, KY, and that's exactly why we were going there! Everyone was welcoming and friendly even though we looked like roadkill after a long day of riding motorcycles!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!! We will be back as customers soon!

Looking for something besides what you see on billboards traveling down the interstate. This place may take you a little off of your path but in my opinion is worth it. Country cooking - meal vs price, this place by far the best I have come across. Friendly clean and next to it if you want can buy meats to load up your freezer.

I really enjoy the food at Family's Main Street Cafe. The home cooking is great. We really enjoy their Glier's Goetta, home fried potatoes, and biscuits and gravy. The only two reasons I couldn't bring myself to give them a full 5 stars is: 1) They don't accept credit or debit cards; cash only. I'm sure they do this to keep the prices low, and it must work, as they are considerably less expensive than most places. 2) It is one of the few establishments left that allow smoking indoors, and while this is probably a positive for some, it's a negative for me personally. If they are going to continue to allow smoking inside, they should upgrade the ventilation system considerably, as you often times leave there smelling like cigarette smoke after enjoying an otherwise great meal.

Local hometown place. The atmosphere was very comfortable and all of the old photos of people and places from Walton were very interesting. The service was welcoming and friendly but also fast and accurate. Our server was constantly checking on us and refilling coffee and drinks. The food was extremely well prepared and very delicious like home made. I can't wait to eat here again.

We found this restaurant on google maps after a day of traveling. It was a good decision. The staff was friendly and treated us like family. Our food was good and I would recommend that you stop by and try them out.

This place renews my belief that it is possible to get a heaping plate of southern hospitality. They pound their pork tenderloin by hand and bread fry it, then put some gravy on top with two fried eggs and fresh sliced home fries. Then they give you two biscuits the size of your fist to round off the meal. If that doesn't satisfy your first stomach, try their home made cherry apple pie... Nuff said.

I really love family run diners and this is a great one! They have all of your favorites here! Whether you are in the mood for pan fried chicken or the terrific catfish dinner with fries and cole slaw or any number of other comfort food items, this is your place. The have a great breakfast and pies that defy the imagination! This place is always busy and happy with the bustle of hungry folks and first rate service! The place is spotlessly clean and the staff always friendly! As Always, Enjoy!

We had a wonderful waitress named Heidi. I had the biscuit & gravy. I was disappointed as it was flat tasting. The sausage in the gravy didn't have much flavor & there were areas of the biscuit that was hard. However, the coffee was good. My granddaughter tried their blueberry pancake & it was superb!! She'll definitely get it again! I don't eat pancakes, but I had a bite of hers & I might order it the next time. Light & fluffy & a lot of blueberries. 1 thing everyone should know before stopping is they only take cash or checks. NO DEBIT OR CHARGE CARDS!!! They have daily lunch/dinner specials, but you need to call to find out as it changes. I would recommend going & enjoying 1 of their meals. Oh, I believe they allow smoking in the restaurant. You can smell the smoke & I saw an ashtray on a table. Not positive about the last statement, but with the smell & the ashtray, I would bet I'm right about it.

Very nice place. Family owned and operated with their children working there too. The food was good except for the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were very dry and the gravy Tasted like it was out of a package and cold. Homemade sausage gravy would have been better.
