Sweet potato fries were dry, over cooked, and unseasoned. “Beer battered cod” has bland breading, tasted totally unseasoned, rather than being crispy and flakey it was soft and mushy. I skipped Wendy’s thinking I’d treat myself to a quality meal. Wendy’s Basic cod sandwich would have been a major step up and for half the price. What a shame.

It is August 5th, 2018 at 1:18 pm and when i walked into this barleycorn’s, my day got immediately better. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is so nice and inviting. I do also have to say, the servers Sara, Courtney, and Destiny were the nicest girls i have ever had the pleasure of talking to. All the servers here on their top game and are doing a fantastic job. I will definitely be coming back here often.

Love this place. Our experiences have been with just family, family and friends, and just friends. The staff, from the person holding door welcoming you, to the hostess, to the servers, to the cooks, to the managers, whether by luck or skill, all good, all friendly. Every time we've been, the service is tops, the food delicious, the time fun with great memories.

Arrived at 5:50 pm. House was full and waited 15-20 minutes for a table. Ordered food immediately but waited approximately 35-45 minutes until served. Food was cold and server did not come back to check. Ate cold food and spoke to manager who gave us the food on the house. Room was also cold because they turned the heat off and fans on. Finally left at 7:55 pm.

The food was truly top notch, as was the service. Unfortunately, it was very loud and noisy and the seating was not very accomodating. It's not romantic or high clasd, so I wouldn't recommend it for date night unless you are both sports fans.

Your standard Americana. If you are reading a review, you aren't looking for info about the food most likely, you after looking for info about the service. Wait staff is friendly, hostess is great, and others check in on you frequently to make sure everything is good. None of it is phoned in or half-hearted, they seem to genuinely care. Food like this you can find anywhere - the service is a rare thing, especially in this type of establishment.

Went for burger week and everything was great. Service was all really friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and came out much faster than expected given how busy it was. The pretzels and queso were great, probably the best queso I've had at any restaurant.

I dont give 5 stars to many places, but they deserve it. Our waitress was very sweet and understanding while we had our 11 month old little girl with us. On Valentines day of all days. The food was perfect. Very clean place . Basketball court for the kids (or adults i guess) indoors and visible from many tables. Ski ball, a racing game, claw game and so on. This was our fist visit to this location but we will deffenitly be back. The grouper BLT is amazing.

Fish tacos were good . A little pricey. My pet peeve is that they charge for bar b que sauce. Not a good strategy. Catsup free. Extra napkins free. Free refills. Salad dressing free. Why pay for sauce? Not good customer service. Especially if they want you to try their sauce.

Walking in we were greeted in a very warm friendly manner. Server was super friendly and attentive. We had a large party. Everyone seemed please with food. Atmosphere is laid back, very kid friendly. Great place for families and friends to get together. Chips and queso is super yummy.

Beer was good, the lent menu needs some serious work though. $11 for what's barely an appetizer? At least use some caramelized onions or pair it with some kind of side. I don't care how expensive the sea bass is if you're just going to crumble it up like any old tuna.

We were promptly greated when we arrived and doors held open for us. We asked if we could sit outside and the hostess (who had an ankle brace and white chucks on) seated us promptly. The hostess was professional and courteous. We were then greated by our server Alexandra who smiled at both of us and made us feel welcomed right off the bat. We, told her it was or 1st time and she told us all about the place. We, never felt rushed or made to feel like we needed to leave. She was on top of her game and the food came out super fast and super hot. The smothered burger I got was Amazing and they come cooked to temp(bonus weigh me). I've been in the business for over 22yrs and can safly say the service we got was awesome. Thank you Alexandra and thank you Barleycorn's for a great visit. We, don't get it very often due to hectic schedule's but this was a nice treat . Thank you!!! Justin Dove

This place has under age girls serving alcohol/ bartending and I'm pretty sure the waitress was on drugs by the way she was acting. NEVER BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. or anyone for that matter. I will never be coming here again, and will definitely be spreading the word about this awful place.

We went in for burgers... 'cause they are awesome, but I ordered the Grouper instead. Wow, what a great sandwich! The place is always a bit on the busy side ,but with lots of staffing they don't let you feel ignored. The only downside was having to send waitress back to get the extra onions that kitchen did not give me the 1st time, and only 1 variety of hot sauce... please get Tabasco!

I Really want to like this place. The food is pretty good, the beer selection is pretty good. But the tables and booths are small, the service is pretty mediocre, and the prices are pretty high for what you get. Think bar with good bar food and you won't be disappointed most likely. Better pricing would add a star as would better service.

Went to a local distellery and stopped here for lunch. Had the fish. It was absolutely delicious,soft, moist and tasty. Nice atmosphere with full bar and lots of tvs. Service was decent and there are many food items to choose from.I will be back if we are ever in Kentucky,in that area again.

There was a 'manager' I guess u would call her, katie , who was very unprofessional. I ate at the bar and she bad mouthed staff the whole time I ate.(not a good look) I didn't hear one positive thing out of her mouth my whole visit. I will never go back. Is that ur idea of leader for ur staff? I came in ready to watch basketball and left out in the worst mood because of the negative energy. Very trashy and unprofessional.

It is our wedding anniversary and I called to see what specials they had on budlight and per Brittany you guys do not serve budlight anymore? After she says she does not know what the prices are, I asked if she could check for me as we were deciding between Barleycorn's and another place and she simply says, I checked and we do not serve budlight. After going back and forth with her for a few minutes I told her we were just going to the other place and that I was sure Barley corns had budlight. Looks like she needs better training,yall just lost 2 customers.
