Neighborhood favorite. Home cooking in a relaxed setting. There is often a wait but it goes fast. Great service. Specials go fast, I missed out on the tilapia last night but the salmon made for it. Kid friendly.

Normally we have excellent service. Today as my husband and I are lunch out waitress was quite mouthy. He asked the lady that wouldseated us for beer in a bottle. She said our waitress will bring it out to us. The waitress brought it but it was in a glass she seemed to be a bit in a hurry so he said ho hang on unwanted it in the bottle. She mouthed back and said well I didnt take your order so with that quick jab of response I think there was some conflict. Fact all he did was simply say that's not what I the ordered. There was no need for her response like that. You are a server. The correct response would have been oh I'm sorry sir let me fix that for you. What did you ordered. Problem solved. People today just think they got to respond to everything in such an ugly way. Needless to say she didn't get a very good tip. And it seemed she was in such a rush to go sit down with the group of men friends at a table. Im,sure her tip was better.,

Great American food and atmosphere. Much like Ramsey's, but was not as crowded and I think the food was better. I had the hot brown, which was very saucy but delicious. My wife had a grilled chicken, which she said was fine. We had the peppers for appetizer - those were amazing! Good staff - we'll go again for sure.

I love my experience every time I go to Suggins! My go-to orders are the Open-Faced Roast Beef (pictured), the Chubby Cheese Fries, Pasta Salad, or whatever is on the specials board. Great food! Friendly staff! Local spot!

This was the first time my party and I had eaten here. We had heard it was good, but had to try it for ourselves. It blew away all my expectations. We loved everything we got. I got the queso blanco appetizer and blackened pork chops with sides and it was spectacularly delicious. So much so, that I can say that it's my new favorite blackened meat. The spice that was on the pork for amazing, it wasn't too overpowering, but was seasoned just enough to ensure you got just the right amount every bite. I completely finished my meal it was so good, which rarely happens due to how picky I can be. I will be back here in the future for sure.

I've yet to have anything there that I consider exceptional. My girlfriend and her parents enjoy it though. Also, how hard is it to bring a potato to the table that can melt butter? Baked does not mean room temperature.

NOTHING SPECIAL HERE. The staff for the most part is helpful and nice. The food is average. The coleslaw is not homemade, the grilled salmon was a little dry, my wife's baked potato was under cooked. My daughter's cheese burger was grilled and tasted good, the bun was cheap and the fries were cold and greasy. The place needs to updated. It is dark and depressing. The black ceiling needs to be painted, there are water stains on the ceiling, the carpet is filthy. The bartender needs some social skills help.

The waitress we've had each time doesn't even need to write down our order and it always comes out exactly how we asked for it. You want crispy fries? She'll have them double fry them. They have a lot of items on the menu and have daily specials. I haven't had a bad meal yet.

I grew up going here, too bad that it's gone so far downhill these days. We order takeuot here a lot but lately it's been a hassle. Tonight was no different and now we will not go back. I waited 50 minutes for chicken pasta salad and fried chicken salad. The short trip to get food turned into me waiting at the bar with no offered drink service for a good 25 minutes. The bartenders were having a nice lively conversation at the end of the bar though. When someone finally went to the kitchen to check on my order, she returned minutes later with no appologies. My husband's chicken pasta salad was merely cold wet plain pasta noodles with the cheap kind of parmesan cheese sprinked all over it. His chicken breast was so tough and chewy that he had to throw it away and go out again to get something else to eat. Too bad, because their pasta salad used to be great. Suggins was a nice neighborhood place for decades but now it's feeling more like a crappy chain restaurant with no hospitality.
