We were there for a corporate event and it was perfect. Private room was very nice, our server was great, and they even accommodated my vegetarian meal request due to the truncated menu we had (and everyone ooohed and aaaahed over my roasted cauliflower and wished they had gotten it for themselves). Everyone said their dinners were amazing. Highly recommend.

A long wait in line to get "just okay" signature cocktails. The staff only let so many guests in at a time though. Good reason for this though. There's only minimal seating and it takes forever to get served. Although it's a unique concept for Christmas in KC, and we're glad to have tried it, there's way better signature cocktails at the half dozen other "speakeasy" style establishments that have popped up around the Crossroads, West Bottoms, and Downtown Districts. Friendly staff and fun people watching here though for sure!

The food is always great and I typically meet people there for business lunches because they have a parking lot across the street so finding parking downtown isn't an issue. Well, they recently lost their parking lot until 5pm each day to a new company that moved in. So, still a great lunch spot but less convenient from a parking perspective. I got the Rockhill Salad and my colleague ordered the Grilled Cheese and Tomato Basil Soup. Both were terrific!

Love the Food and the Location. This is my favorite restaurant in KC. I absolutely love everything on the menu. The Rockhille Salad is amazing. And the Pig Wings are incredible and you have to try the Tator Tots.

This is a really classy joint slinging tasty drinks which also serves quality food (from what I hear; no first-hand experience on the food). I love their attention to detail, and this place gives off a quality upscale vibe and has phenomenal views of the city skyline. They also have an upstairs that doubles as an event space.

Our family, w 2 tweens, came to Crown Center for holiday fun and wanted somewhere to eat was different than our typical haunts. I was tentative because the options at Crown Center are mostly chain options. We pulled up to a stoplight, saw Rockhill and I was all in. The atmosphere was bright and lively, the dishes were excellent with above average portions and very reasonable pricing. I would definitely recommend them for these reasons and because the staff was great compliment to the fare.

Had a great night at Rockhill Grille with friends. Tall beautiful ceilings, open space and not crowded. The bartenders we're awesome! We were with friends but it seems that if you don't have a reservation, you have to sit at the bar even when there are open tables. Hmmm. Nice bathroom but the sewer smell not good in the women's bathroom. Food was very good although the steak had a bit too much marinate for a rib eye. Would eat there again.

Best tater tots in the city! Great cocktails, friendly and prompt service. On nice days, they open the garage doors to let the breeze in. Downstairs is great for distraction free eating. Upstairs offers a more exciting atmosphere with a great view of downtown.

Very good lunch spot in KC. One of those which makes for good "working lunches". Service very good - not overbearing. Servers always know just the right time to be there. Good salads and great cocktails. Decor reminiscent of places in NYC.

The portions are twice the size one would expect from a more trendy place like this. The food is piping hot! The atmosphere is cozy, the servers are incredibly friendly. I would love to come back when the windows are open. Definately worth the visit! The cajun trout and hand rolled tater tots are amazing! Maria is the best server!

Really great service and wonderful atmosphere. I ate there for the first time tonight and ordered the pork chop, which was listed at $26 on the menu. Y'all, this is a big pork chop. Double bone in cut, done perfectly. This is an incredible place to bring clients for business, or a wonderful date night restaurant. I will certainly be going again.

Upscale Americana fare is served here, and the atmosphere is en pointe! I really like how a lot of V newer places in town are going for a retro feel, but they're not doing it in the kitchen way. There is brass along with wood, and plush fabric with sleek lines. You can really feel like you're in an episode of Mad Men here.

Very nice and elegant inside! There used to be another restaurant in that place called The Cashew, I believe, which looked pretty junkie. They did a great job at renovating into an upscale place. The food was delicious! I had the duck confit that melts in your mouth!

A couple of us went for dinner. Not a quick in and out place to dine before a work shift. A friend of mine Waited 20 minutes just for wine. We had the chicken and caprisi salad. You can get juicier chicken at the Chick filet. 3 starts for the architecture.

Stellar service. Absolutely delicious food. If you are wanting to indulge your sweet tooth, absolutely go for their ice cream sandwich. It's vanilla ice cream between a chocolate chip cookie and a brownie topped with caramel and whipped cream. So. Good. Can't go wrong with ordering a steak here. They're juicy and tender, and well seasoned with just the right amount of char. Their sides are just as good. Veggies are cooked just right and are also seasoned well. Not too mushy and not too raw. Great treat-yourself spot by yourself or with loved ones!

We came here for the Miracle Pop up bar on the second floor. It was delicious and very interesting. They offer some food, cocktails priced around 12-14 dollars and wine and beer. If you’re coming here for the pop up I recommend you come very early (before opening) because you will be waiting in line for a while. I did enjoy the cocktails, food and the atmosphere. If you want to go to the actual grille afterward, I highly recommend you make reservations ahead of time.

I have only been to Rockhill for lunch and I have gotten the Brussles Sprouts Salad both times. It is delicious! I have had impeccable service both times I've gone. I was disappointed the last time - their parking lot was taken over by a healthcare company and so parking is really a bear. We had a lunch meeting and both of us were 15 minutes late in the end. Valet parking is only $3 but I just don't agree with paying for parking if I can find alternatives.

It was our date night and we had been really trying to get there a few times but they were always booked up. Glad it finally worked out! The ribeye was beyond tender and juicy and the scallops were not only the largest I’ve ever had but the most amazing texture. Cooked to perfection! Our server, Heather, did a wonderful, efficient and helpful job in pointing us in the right direction. She was very attentive and made our experience even better. We will definitely be back. (Only one complaint. Our seat had a really cold draft being by the windows but other than that it was perfect!) Also went up to miracle which was not that impressive. The bartender was nice, the crowd was a leakover of the 20 somethings on the plaza. The bouncer, Angelo, was the best part of that experience. Miracle is lucky to have him as the first point of contact. He needs a heater. Poor guy!

I ordered the Brussel sprout salad. Johnny (not sure if he's cook, hist or waiter. I think he's just Johnny) walked by and saw I was scraping off the goat cheese (hate that stuff) and he swiped it away and said in his heavy accent "I'll bring you another one". I sat and waited with my empty fork still in the salad poking position and it was back in no time. This was even though I protested saying it's fine, I can pick it out. Then Johnny and I had the greatest conversation. Not that my waitress wasn't friendly but there should be more people like Johnny around. I would go back just to see and talk to him. Oh, the salad was good. The strawberry shortcake, while it looked better than it tasted, wasn't bad. And the tater tots are "different" in a good way.

We went here for lunch and the ambiance was really nice. The food, however was a bit overpriced and bland. The tots that they are known for were really kind of flavorless and just potato like blobs in your mouth. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and again, it was flavorless. Really tender and lean but no seasoning or flavor whatsoever. I really liked the location and ambiance though.

We sat upstairs, which was so beautiful. Overlooking the area with a perfect night sky rolling in. Then came out big problem, service speed. After waiting forever for the waitress who kept looking over at us, we flagged the manager who switched us to someone else, that helped a lot as the new server was very attentive. I enjoyed the Cajun fish, which was a welcome change from the bbq in the area! It was very good, yet unmemorable. The food in general was good, the prices felt a bit high for something not terribly special. I might go back again if I was hankering from a change, but there is better food in the area.

Popular. Nice spot in the Crown area. Surprising and varied menu choices with something for everyone. Service was six stars (out of 5)- prompt, professional, pretty, polite and perfect. Our drinks were very good (Rockhill 75s) and a nice twist on a classic cocktail. The place was buzzing when we were there so plan ahead.

Had dinner at the bar here while in town for work. Bartender recommended the pork chop. It did not disappoint! Nice and thick, cooked perfectly and the glaze is delicious. Had a cup of the tomato bisque to start as well and that was great too. Really nice spot here. Was also told there's a Christmas bar on the 2md floor that's worth checking out this time of year. Maybe next time. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good meal though. Seems like it's really consistent too.

Stopped here for the Christmas pop up bar Miracle @ Rockhill Grille on the second floor. They had some really fun drinks, typically around 12 bucks a pop. The best part was definitely the decorations that adorned the bar. Fun place to check out during the holidays.

My friend and I had lunch, she the burger and fries, me the Caesar salad with chicken. My salad was fresh, well dressed and the chicken warm and juicy but my friend's fries made me wish I had ordered a big batch of them, they were crispy on the outside and had just the right softness on the inside. We split a strawberry shortcake for dessert. Dessert was excellent. Out server was super friendly but not hovering and she offered me a stain remover when I got some strawberry juice on my shirt. I would definitely go back again but try the prime rib sandwich.

Came here before a work event with 8 other people. I feel like we overwhelmed the waitress a bit, but it wasn't busy at the restaurant. Maybe she was just appalled by the amount of drinks we were having. Jamie had a double Tito's and water and said she couldn't taste the vodka. The next drink she got, she could definitely taste the vodka. She'll be asleep early tonight. I had the chicken sandwich and it was wonderful. It was the right thickness and had the right amount of crunch. I was totally looking forward to the jalapeno cheese filled tots, but was a bit let down. It just needed more crunch and more flavor. Overall, the food was fantastic. I just wish I felt a little more welcome.

I have been driving by this location for years now, wanting to stop in, but never quite finding the time or the umph. The restaurant kept changing, also, which didn't appeal. But my BFF and I were going to a concert, and this new restaurant popped up on my downtown Kansas City search for food, and the menu appealed to me. I didn't realize that the Rockhill Grille was that place I wanted to try until we pulled up and parked. The service was amazing. Our waitress was knowledgeable and genuinely took interest in our food choices. The house made tater tots were excellent, and my caprese salad, other than the beets, was exactly what I wanted. We had fun talking, even though the music was a bit loud, and then we were off to our concert. I highly recommend this place.

I had a surprise birthday dinner for my husband. There were eight of us so we had to put round tables together upstairs. No big deal tho. This was my second time going there. I liked it so much we had to go back again. My husband ordered the ribeye steak again which so tender and so full of flavor! I ordered the crab cake. The service said it is 95% crab meat and it definitely is! It was delicious. We also ordered some appetizers which were very tasty as well. We really like Rock Hill grille!

Dropped in last night (Tuesday). Quite a busy place. The Scottish salmon was excellent as was the beer. There is some bar space but most of the custom was table bound. Seems very a very whisky centric place - lots of choice above the bar. Worth a visit.
