We ordered several menu items, the chili was excellent. Sides and soup were good. Service was good. The only disappointment was the hamburger. Not sure it was fresh instead of frozen and it had no seasoning. Very bland and average.

We never miss a chance to eat at Mall Deli. Awesome food and service. Have been eating there since my wife and I went to college there from 1992 - 95. And now our daughter attend s there and as I said we're still going! They're awesome! Don't miss it!

Eaten here several times and just was never impressed with the food. It's not bad but there certainly never seems to be anything extraordinary about it either. Prices seem a little steep for a cold sandwich and a bag of chips. Portion sizes on whatever anyone in my group has ever ordered seems small. The place is clean and always packed, so other people in the area might see something that we don't. Because it's always been packed we usually wait longer than it seems we should have to despite the fact that everyone who works there seems to stay busy. Wait staff are friendly but seem too busy to give you much attention. I still always leave good tips, but it's because the server's are working so hard and not because I loved the food and the service was so great.

Always one of the first places I visit during my vacations in Pittsburg. I usually visit it several more times. Excellent food, friendly staff, and low prices through the years. The atmosphere reminds me of a small-town version of the Cheers television show. Everyone knows everyone! Don't forget the famous creamy Italian dressing.

They have an updated menu at Mall Deli I ordered a dinner salad and tuna salad portion with no bread. I was disappointed with the small amount of tuna salad, but their prices are still not bad. I will learn what to order. I do like that they now offer a half sandwich and small sandwich or cup of soup. They continue to serve good food and all their signature sandwiches.

A trip back home to SEKS is not complete with a stop at the mall for this staple! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The chef salad is a favorite it’s a BIG SALAD, a meal, and a excellent price! The sub sandwich is great, get it hot...I could give a list of favorite items, but I’ll end with the creamy Italian dressing on club crackers or chips ...don’t knock it! Coffee cup was very small probably 5 ounces & said no water & was charged .85 for the water. Food was ok but the hostess was not acceptable. The worst lazy staff ever. Busy place but having 20 waitress staff had to keep asking for coffee refills.

This place is very very good. The sandwiches are awesome there. They give you some kind of sauce in a bottle for the sandwiches. I don't know what it is but it's pretty good too. Don't worry about getting a side because after eating a sandwich you're full. The staff is friendly in the place is very clean.

I had the grilled chicken sandwich. While I did enjoy it, my mother had a turkey sandwich. Her bread was soggy. Her baked beans were dry, our drinks were only refilled once, we barely had any service. When we checked out we told the manager about our experience she hardly had anything to say. This used to be one of our favorite places to eat, it will be awhile before we go back.

Been going here with family and friends since it was in the old location inside the Meadowbrook Mall. (Old age) Even got some bottles of Creamy Italian to go. Our bill was super cheap and I am still smiling about the visit. FYI - Molly our server was super awesome! Great prices along with great food and super service....hard combination to beat. Wasnt sure what to expect when told that I just HAD to try out this place, but I was not disappointed! The food is delicous and a good price. They also have crackers with homemade dressing (dont knock it till you try it) and pickles served with every meal. The wait staff are always super sweet and Great at what they do. Even when the line was out the door they did a good job at getting people through without making anyone feel rushed. Definitely a town classic!
