Very friendly service, and the food was excellent, the salsa very fresh and flavorful, and the tacos and spicy shrimp were wonderful. I'm from New Mexico, so I've had my share of great Mexican food, but Tacos Jalisco's is definitely worth a trip, both for the food and the atmosphere. You won't feel like you're in Kansas!!

Worse customer sevice ever! And i saw the hot sauce with no cap! Also saw a roach climbing on the wall too. Order fajitas and got literally more onions and jalepeños than meat the tortiallas were all stuck together and falling to pieces and it took like 45min to get our food!

If I get sick I’ll change it to one star. When you first walk in you get hit with the smell of cleaning fluid. Not so friendly staff but efficient. Steak has been abused and cooked too long. Rice tasted like dirty feet smell. I would not go back.

Saved the day - Hard old chips - No hostess No means no... - Good help is hard to find here - Repeat your request if prefer a dish without something - No isn't universal here. ( Also means insert excessive unevenly cooked oinions ) - Won't return.

It was ok food. We had a little translation problem going on but finally got the order. There is not much in the way of other choices in Dodge City (especially off season). The place was clean and very cute inside. See pics.

I give the Salsa an A++. Beer is cold, food is good. Staff is polite. Prices are reasonable but I have a boyfriend who orders wayyyyy too much food so I got to try little bits of lots of things. What can I say he loves tacos and he says this place is A ok!

Authentic Mexican restaurant here! Very good food and great staff! The girls were very helpful and friendly. They are open until 1:00 am, which was really nice since we got into town around 9:00 when everything else was getting ready to close. The menu was all in Spanish and I'm not the least bit fluent in Spanish, but no worries as the girls were very helpful in explaining everything to us. The atmosphere was good and the place was actually quite empty as it was Tuesday night. The handcarved and painted chairs and benches were amazing craftsmanship. From our experience, we'd highly recommend.

Tacos Jalisco is a favorite of many locals because of traditional Mexican food served there. The only thing I don't care for is the meals are all served on styrofoam plates and plastic ware.

Wow! In one word to explain so much about one place so simply does not explain the depth of pleasure it was eating here. From the outside it has a simple look with a rather plain looking exterior. Parking was easy with plenty of available space. Once you step inside the word wow comes to the front of your mind fast. The beautifully unique seating with each table or booth having it's own painted surfaces from mariachi bands serenading the people to a family happy at home. The wonderful staff was very helpful and thoughtful of the customers. For instance I ordered the torta ahogada which had spicy labeled next to it. Me loving spice was ready for whatever came my way but what I took as a surprise was when she asked if i wanted the sauce separate because if its spice level. I respectfully declined the separation with a smile on my face. The food size for the price was well worth it to me. We soon sat down and I allowed the ambience fill my senses. The sounds of the music, the families enjoying each others company, even the radiant colors that scatter throughout the building. Soon enough the food arrived and with the shrimp cocktail size I was at first surprised and again the word wow was the first thing to be said. Shortly my meal came out and I saw something on it's own level. A beautifully fluffy bread with a crisp shell covered in a rich red colored sauce all topped with a decent portion of sliced onion. The image was a sight to behold and to be cherished. The time was here for the first bite into what I hoped was a spicy meaty torta and I wasn't let down. My mouth soon became overwhelmed with the spice as it felt like small embers being heated with every breath. The bread was soft and light with plenty of give to enjoy it without having to chew too much. If anything were to be changed only the amount of meat given. But I just love extra protein to my foods. About halfway through the spice had risen to a point where sweat had formed on my brow and every breath had a quiver to it almost like a sense of euphoria and expectation of the next bite. Shortly after the burned calmed to a light warmth as my breath grew steadier and the thrill was slowly fading. It was wonderful, exciting, and fun almost like a food rollercoatser. For those seeking flavor and excitement this place will surely have it.

Although a little sketchy looking on the outside, the inside was very colorful and friendly. All the chairs have a different Mexican picture on them painted with lots of color. Our food was made in front of us, and was delicious! I had a burrito, and instead of the regular beef you get, they served the authentic Mexican beef. We also purchased a pineapple juice, which was very refreshing! The kids got to practice their Spanish on our waitress, but she also spoke fluent English. For the prices we payed there was definitely leftovers. Overall our visit was amazing, and would definitely recommend!
