We came out to Paola with our folks and decided to give this Mom & Pop shop a whirl. The special was Chicken fried chicken homemade mashed potatoes and white gravy and green beans, $8.00 for the special. Pam waited on us and was very sweet. She told us that she & her husband started this business 6 1/2 years ago. The place is clean and unique. There are a variety of 'spud' items on the menu, we had the spiral cut spuds ( like homemade potatoes chips) it was all very good and reasonably priced.

Really good food at very reasonable prices. Our meal tonight was $21.83. We had the turkey dinner special, a fried chicken salad, 2 coffees and 2 desserts. Plenty to eat The owner usually serves and she is delightful.

Fresh French fries like I made when younger. Nothing taste as good as fresh. My spicy chicken sandwich was fantastic.

I am part of a group that holds weakly meeting here. They have a private room for groups to have dinner and meetings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a great menu with a fairly good selection of dishes including steak, chicken and burgers. It is not on the beaten path but not really hard to find. I found it to be a pleasant surprise.

Excellent food and service! Spudleys catered our church Christmas banquet the last two years. This year they catered 51 meals for us. Everything tasted great, the staff are super friendly, and the food is excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

Food was good. We were there with a small group to have a birthday dinner, was given the impression that we were an inconvenience to them. They tried to allow us to only order certain options to not "overwhelm" the kitchen. Only two other tables has customers in there. Our waitress lost my debit card. Argued with me, saying she knows for a fact she gave it back to me. I knew she hadn't. She went looking for it and told me she found it up front on the floor. No apologies were made. I'm not sure that I will go back.

Food prices has increased, 50 cent for additional gravy when gravy on plate didn't cover potatoes, and was very thin. Food was great when first opened. Need retraining of cook.

Cozy family dining or date night, it does not matter. This place has a great atmosphere that invites you in to sit & stay a while. The booths make for great privacy if you need some one on one time. If you bring your kids there are baskets of Mister Potato Heads to keep them busy or they can color if that is more their thing. Definitely a place to relax & enjoy your meal.
