Get the mango chicken burrito and a prickly pear margarita. The service is always super friendly and the food is killer. They definitely pass the chips and salsa test. It hits all the marks for a Mexican restaurant. Definitely worth at least a couple visits in the four years a kid typically spends in Stillwater.

My issue is with Palominos making a mistake and not making it right, My daughter called and reserved the group room on April 6th for a graduation reception this Sat. at 1:00 PM. When she called back to double check last week they had reserved it to another party. Not sure how that can happen when you have a confirmed reservation. My issue is instead of seeing that one if their employees had made a mistake and knowing that we had already reserved it for that date, they said their was nothing they could do. As a result of their mistake we will have 30 family members from 4 states without a place to go. Its unacceptable. For their lack of interest in owning up to their mistake they get a 0 rating from me. And have 30 less customers for life.

The food was ok. They didn't get our stuff on the side. Drinks were made wrong the first time and had to be remade. Also the waitress was super friendly but the management was unbearably rude. I hope the waitress knows she lost out on a great tip because of how incompetent the management was. I always tip when I go out but not today, I would have been ashamed to work there. On top of that, "authentic Mexican food" is honestly a stretch. I grew up on authentic and honestly this is no better than mexico joes. I'll cook at home next time.

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine! Met the owner when we ate lunch, and he and his wait staff were very welcoming! Exceptionally clean and attractive decor, and the food was excellent, too! Definitely will dine here again while we are in Stillwater! Highly recommend Palomino's!

The worst service I have ever had in all the Mexican restaurants I dined! The only service that the waitress offered was taking my order. She did not serve my meal, add drink or ask if we need anything. At the end of our meal, she blatantly asked for a minimal of 15% tip. Also the food is so salty and I had to drink three full glasses of water after the meal.

While the food I had was acceptable, Palomino's is in no way a 4 1/2 star restaurant. For looks, yes, for food, no. I have had food from here twice at this point and they cannot seem to make decent chicken. There is no flavor and may as well just be boiled, unseasoned chicken. If you want the best Mexican food in town, I'd go to El Vaquero. The ambiance isn't as nice, but the food is superior.

They were super busy and our waitress kind of forgot about us and they sat us right by the tortilla making place where they were ringing people up. They were nice people and the beans and rice were authentic but I found the rest of the food pretty salty.

Great place to eat but DO NOT GET A JOB HERE. They are very unprofessional and will not have the hours correct on your check. I was told im making 9 dollars an hour and was lied to. They will give you the run around for your check. Seems to me they lack business skills with their employees. Still waiting on my check and was told it be fixed by monday the 6th. Here it is the 9th. Loved the food. I got the, # 21 and my girlfriend got the shrimp cocktail . The waiter was very attentive, the food was to us in less the 15 minutes. We took home food, huge portions. Definitely will be our go to dinner place. Forgot our debit card, called them and they were so great about holding it for us to pick up later. Going to spread the word about how amazing you all were. Wish I could remember our waiters name, tall African American,. We will be back.

Service not good at all. Ordered, she came back multiple times to clarify. Ordered relish, finally got it after asking multiple times. Order finally comes for every except me. My family sits there waiting for mine so the could eat only to find out mine had never been put in. They all get done eating and mine finally shows up and is wrong. At that point, I say something but don’t want to wait more for the correct order so I eat it. Food was extremely salty. After all the mess ups she takes off the cheese dip and acts like she did us a favor. Really?!

The waiter spilled the salsa all over the table and left it for us to clean up. When taking our order he wrote nothing down and my order was wrong. The chicken quesadilla had no cheese in it and it wasn't cut into separate pieces. The beef chimichanga was so horrible tasting my husband who eats everything took one bit and that was it! It was a flour tortilla and bad tasting meat.... that's it! The rice was very dry! We won't be back!!

Absolutely love this place! Really good lunch specials... I haven't seen my favorite thing at this location ... Coctel.... Maybe I overlooked it but I can get it at their other locations. But I have not had anything here I did not like... The building is beautiful, great atmosphere! The staff are always friendly and helpful if needed. Even when we have been seated in a more secluded area they still managed to keep up with the drinks and check on us enough that we did not feel like we had been abandoned. The margaritas are really good! ... I can't even pick just one thing to mention here as a favorite... I have seriously tried just about everything and have not been disappointed yet. A must try for anyone looking for a pleasant evening out with friends or family.

First time in this town, the restaurant was reccomend to us by a local. After getting seated chips and sauce were out quickly, they came back fast to take our orders. The menu was large but about 15 minutes later I had decided what to order. It didn't take long for the food to come out of the kitchen, there were 3 of us with 3 totally different taste in food. One of us ordered steak, chicken and shrimp fajita, one ordered 5 cheese chicken burrito, and the last order was for rib eye steak. Every one was well pleased with the food will be eating there are next time in town.

Fantastic Mexican dining. My top choice out of the several options in Stillwater. Even when I've been during peak hours the service has always been stellar, and I've never been disappointed with the food. Definitely try the shark tacos if you're feeling a bit adventurous! Palomino's has a very authentic feel and the staff is extremely nice and welcoming! I will say that my expectations were set high and our food did not quite meet that expectation. Our meals were good but our queso left more to be desired. Very watery and lacking taste. However, for Stillwater this place is about as good as it gets. Give it a try.
