We went to the Longhorn Steakhouse in Olathe for my wife birthday dinner they both had the prime rib and it was excellent as was the service this is one of our favorite restaurants and we will definitely be back

Good restaurant for the above average menu. Has good burgers and unique sandwiches but not too trendy. Has an expanded bar on one side, space for a gathering and mixture of booths/tables. Can be a little dark at night. The one in South OP is the best. Entree, desert, service and atmosphere are the finest. The owners picks are always great. Chicken Pot Pie is one to try. The ribs fall off the bone.

Terrible first impression. We visited this location for lunch while waiting to be seen at the urgent care clinic near by. The service was good but the food was inconsistent. My daughter's hamburger came out extremely pink, she ordered well done. The salmon burger was a soggy, sloppy inedible mess. I took one bite and almost got sick. It had been sitting in oil. The manager was very nice and eager to please, she offered to make me something else but I was so grossed out I couldn't eat. I may visit another location.

My husband and I ate here last night. We were disappointed. The food was just ok. The bar TV was way too loud, it was hard to have a conversation with my husband as we could not hear each other. Had we known, we would have asked to sit on the quieter side of your establishment. When we arrived, the girl at the counter did not seem to want to be there. I would think a Greeter/Hostess would be more approachable and at least smile at the patron when they enter an establishment. Doubtful we will ever return.

Love going for brunch! Waffles and wings at the same time! Last Sunday was perfect, got in at 11:30 with no wait. Just be prepared for a tight fit. Its popular for large groups and they really pile them in, making it difficult to get around to the food stations

Great food. The noise level is out of control. But if you don't mind not being able to hear or enjoy the people at your own table-- this place is for you. I am sure there are times when it is not so loud--but twice I have been here and twice it was super loud and crowded. The food is great. I will go here again when and if it is not so crowded. I eat out several times a week and this restaurant has the best food I have had in a very long time. I had the Chicken Chardonnay with gnocchi and my business partner had the chicken pot pie with parmesan mashed potato crust on the top. Let me tell you this place has it going. And this server at the bar was very very personable and helpful. The server kept our water glasses full and kept also supplied with everything we needed before we ever had to ask. That never happens when I eat right at the bar. This place is an A+ and I would give ten Stars if I could.

We stopped in here last minute to meet up with family for dinner. They had St. Patricks specials and we ordered the Fish & Chips - delicious! The fish had a light batter and was not greasy at all. It was served with homemade potato chips. Our waitress was very busy with another group, but was still very attentive and gave us good service. My son ordered the Thai Shrimp appetizer and it was amazing! We will definitely be stopping in here again to try the regular menu.

Our meal was excellent. We both had the grilled Bourbon glazed salmon. It comes with mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables or you can substitute other sides for a small upcharge. I've had their asparagus before and it was excellent. Today the seasonal vegetables were green and red peppers with onions, squash and zucchini, cooked to tender crisp. Very good. I'd highly recommend Nick and Jake's to anyone. Their food is consistently good and the price is comparable to others in the area. The lunch salmon is $14 while the same thing for dinner is $18. They also have excellent iced tea and dessert options which change often. I'd highly recommend the shrimp and grits,too. Tastebud worthy for sure.

I ordered the wj's pear pollo pecan salad. It was good enough, nothing special. I probably wouldn't order it again, because it was just average. I also tried a sweet potato fry- pretty good also. We had an interesting server who sat down at the table with us and was just a little too over the top. I might go back here to check out their Sunday brunch. Otherwise, there's much better places I would much rather go for the same price. It was packed for lunch on a Friday, so there was a good ambience. Service was also fast and efficient, so that was a positive.

The Overland Park location needs some work! There is always an extensive wait, no matter the time of day. Several open tables on our visit today but we still had a 25/30 minute wait. The hostess are rude! The food is fabulous but no point in waiting as long as you have to at this location. Our waiter, Jackson, was fantastic!!! He was the bright spot to our visit!!!

We loved the food here when we went, a favorite being the crispy chicken salad. Servers are on most occasions friendly and on top of getting orders and filling drinks. One thing that does bother me though and I would think it is an attention to detail most restaurants should try to be on top of is cleanliness of decor and light fixtures and trim. This may seem silly but if I can see cobwebs and dust layered on lights in the dining area it makes me wonder about the cleanliness of areas that are not typically seen by customers. Attention to detail on the small things is really important. Outside of that it is a lovely restaurant with great food.

Rikki is awesome and provides exceptional service. Bridgett is also an amazing bartender. The daily food specials are always awesome...especially the southwest chopped salad and country fried chicken. Plenty of TVs in the bar for enjoying sports. The patio is cute, not sure if it is dog friendly though. The dinning room to the right has a cool layout. Larger booths with comfy seats. There are also private areas for special occasions and parties. Late night food specials are great for those who can't make it in early enough for the full menu. The lobster mac is amazing and a great deal for the happy hour price. 4 stars only because the spin dip I ordered was just okay.

Literally one of the only places I've been to in Kansas City and never had a questionable meal. The staff is kind and generous, The food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is very inviting. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, but not that big of a deal if you don't mind walking. Great place to take kids as well. They always bring grapes and little cheddar crackers free child before their meal. If you don't like noise, I would recommend asking for a table that's not in one of their private party rooms. The first time we went there we were sat in a room with a table of 10 people and they were all intoxicated and extremely loud.

We have dinner here one or two times a month, frequently as a compromise when each of us initially suggests a different place. I think of it as a very good compromise that offers something to please everyone. I was last there with six family members ranging in age from 13 to 78. There was something on the menu to please everyone, from pot stickers to meat loaf to steaks. We were all pleased with the food and service.

Lots of food in the buffet, with a separate omelot/waffle/prime rib area. Very popular/crowded for brunch. Food was fair to good for a buffet with a few outstanding dishes, notably pot-stickers. My made-to-order ham, sausage, and cheese omelot was nothing to brag about. Service was prompt and efficient for our party of 8.

Very nice experience... like Cheers, the bartenders remembers your name and they are hard working and pleasant. I came in not very hungry with little expectation ... but left blown away by their ramen dish! Of all things to find on the menu. It was incredibly good. The pork quality was barbecued with crispness on the outside and tender and thick inside. There was nothing left to scoop up after the meal. Applause goes out to Brigitte the bartender for her great suggestion and service.

Business lunch with full table. Service was great, right on top of everything from drinks to being sure that we had the condiments we wanted. Refills and removal of plates was very efficient. Went here to watch the first half of a game. We were so content with the food and service that we stayed for the entire game. We’ve had many a chicken pot pie in our day and the one here deserves hall of fame status. A crust the doesn’t have a boggy bottom (as they say on the British Baking Show) and it is topped with mashed potatoes.

We got our food in probably 20 minutes. It was so quick, I was shocked. When it came out it was blazing hot and so tasty! I got the Pollo Magnifico and enjoyed it. I wish the veggie pieces in it were smaller because they seemed overbearing at points but, it was still enjoyable.

Great service and extensive menu. Great steaks and burgers. Bar is VERY popular with locals and they have great happy hour specials both after working hours and late night. They added a new outdoor open area with sports screens. Highly recommend for causal dining or drinks. Great atmosphere for a business lunch. Always consistently one of my favorite places to eat. Service is always top notch. There is a large bar with many screens, but there is also plenty of private dining space. Let me give you one hint if you decide to go; Get Grandma's Chicken! Another nice thing is that you can grab something quick if you like, but you can also have a relaxing multiple-course, two-hour meal.

My family and I really enjoy the food and atmosphere here. The grandma's chicken and oddly enough the meatloaf are particular favorite menu items. If the key lime pie is available order as soon as possible! Enjoy it as an appetizer before you miss out on the last piece!

First time at the OP location for Sunday brunch...N&J is amazing...so it was jam packed as usual. But I was able to find an open spot at the bar. Food was great...but the variety seems to be smaller than the KC location. While the main hot food was always hot and available the hot desserts were always gone :( (or maybe i was just late to the dessert party every time). Mimosas were amazing and so was the service. Will be back!

Pot stickers were good . Pecan chicken had good flavor, but a tad dry for me, but it was ordered without the honey on top. Was better to me with the honey on it. I will put it on the list to go back to when we are in Overland Park again

We went here as a family, we had wings, which were very good wings. One had the pot pie, this was not our favorite as it had more crust and potato topping then all the goodie inside. Some had the french dip, which had real roast beef on it and it was very very good. I had the Carbonara with a seasoned chicken breast on top and a ceasar salad...this too was very very good. We have been here twice, its consistent and very good. And the staff are all very nice. We will be back.
