This is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall restaurant that hasn’t changed in 20+ years. Owners are friendly, and I wanted to make a trip down memory lane. I remember when this was the only Korean restaurant in town. Good food plus excellent service makes this a place to try. I had the Squid Stir-fry, and the flavor profiles were great.

After living in Korea for a year, my wife and I have found that this is the best Korean food in Wichita. While the Gal Bi is not served in the traditional Korean style, it is still very good. The BiBimBap is my favorite. We haven't had a bad dish yet, and don't forget to finish up your meal with a can of Shik hye (sweet rice drink).

I found this place about a year ago and go to it when I come into town. Great Korean food, don't let the little size fool you. The owners are great and friendly. The food tastes just like the food I got as a child (my dad served 3 tours there). The pics on the wall are a testament of their quality. If you've never eaten Korean try the Bulgogi, you won't be disappointed. This is the place, I used to get authentic Korea food when I lived in Wichita. Now I live in the city where I can easily get Korean food in many places, but I still miss their food. From the outside of the restaurant (specially a night and even winter time), it looks a bit scary due to the location of the restaurant. However, once you step inside of the restaurant, you will immediately feel welcome.

I did not love everything I had, although you have to get the pork fried rice. The pork in that stuff was outrageous. I could eat that rice everyday, delicious. I know it is crazy to go crazy for rice, but it is GOOD!

Really really great place. Food was amazing! Service was very homey and welcoming! 100% reccomend! I got the rice bowl filled with beef, rice and vegetables along with an egg on top! Both our meals came with a side--I chose the salad that was also really grand! REFILLED MY GLASS IMMEDIATELY! This place was Very easy on my wallet, I spent $11 bucks (not including the tip) and even had leftovers to take home!

I got the seafood soup to go. Quite a generous portion. Soup was in a large sized cup with plenty of protein and veggies in it. Definitely not one of those stingy soups. Soup was light, not greasy at all, and still flavorful. Very filling from the portion, plus more veggies(side of kimchi) Over all very satisfied.

Unfortunately the chicken pho wasnt that good. The broth had a smokey, cigarette flavor to it. It was so odd. My guest got pork fried rice, it was pretty dry. Not an extensive menu. Egg rolls were very good. Ordered as an appetizer but came well into the meal.

The bulgogi was awful boiled beef strips in sugar water syrup sauce. I am embelleshing, but for an "authentic" Korean place (the owners seem great btw), the bulgogi I was served was an embarrassment. Yes, I have eaten lots of bulgogi, and yes, I did it in Korea. If you are in uniform, spend the extra five minutes and head to Grace market for a much better bulgogi experience. If you want to be reminded of Korea and enjoy some kimchi, then this place will do.

A total hole in the wall restaurant with AMAZING Korean food. The bibimbab in the stone bowl is so good! The kimchi is excellent! Only about 10 tables, but worth the wait if necessary. Decor is interesting - pictures of customers line the walls. Lots of books to peruse, many on religion as the couple who own/operate are devout Christians.

I've ate at a lot of Asian food places, but this. WOW WHY DIDN'T ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS PLACE. Seriously guys, this is the hole in the wall, divey-est dive that has existed. This place seats THIRTY SIX PEOPLE. There's family photos and Polaroids all over the place, but it's so quiet. The staff is a typical Asian American family and they're throwing down BANGERS. I had the Beef Bul Go Kee with kimchi (pictured) and the steamed mandu (not pictured). If ypurey looking for baller food for GREAT prices, this place is for you. 10/10 would fantasize about this meal again. P.S. KIMCHI IS NESSISARY FOR SURVIVAL AND YOU SHOULD ORDER IT WITH YOUR FOOD.

Fantastic food! Tiny mom and pop place that exists to cook great food and serve it with a smile. The walls are covered with tiny prints of past patrons. So many that they have run out of space and resorted to a monitor running a slideshow. I endeavor to try something new every visit. The kimchi is Devine. Pork bulbogi is to die for. Atmosphere is very nice, I almost felt like I was in a building from shenmue (asian 80s feel). The food was likely a mixture of fresh and frozen food, although the fact that some items were frozen didn't distract from the overall taste. The staff was kind and the food came out quickly. I have great memories of this place-- when I was young and my family decided to go out to eat, I'd always ask to go here. We haven't gone for a long time because my mother was served very expired beef once, but before that I only have good memories. It's a nice and cozy place that feels very real and personal. Food is ok but what type of food? Korean or Asian?? I really wanted to taste Korean food but all other Asian menus tagged along including Japanese.. Just you are going into a French rest. and American, Italian and other European food all mixed together... Confused! I just wanted Korean cuisine. Also, the place needs to be renovated. This is such an bad rest. image to Korean rest style. You see all world leading K-pop, K-beauty leading the world and here I am in Wichita and the Korean rest. the imagae of ghettos of poor neighbor... Come on.. Korea is not and should not be regarded as any other Asian run down rest. here in Wichita.

Adorable little place. Found the Kimchi ban chan to extremely good along with the bulgolgi and bi bim bap. The owners were nice and spent a decent amount of time chatting with both of them. The only complaint is that think the mandu is so-so at best. I'm only in Wichita to visit my grandmother on occasion but I think I'll be hitting up this restaurant when I'm in town

It isn't a fancy restaurant, the proprietors just make good food, and are really nice. Try the Bulgogi with noodles. Delicious! Don't be afraid to try it hot. It is not really hot but has a ton of flavor.

Tiny space. Delicious flavors. Wonderful people. Some of the best food in town and one of the few authentic Korean restaurants. Seats about 25 people, so prepare to get cozy. Known for their Bul Go Gi, but everything on the menu is delicious. Bi Bim rice in the hot stone bowl is my personal favorite.
