I had a chicken dish in tasty red sauce that included some green beans and a delicious carrot, with rice and a nice-sized helping of avocado slices and lettuce. It was a lot of food (two thighs and a leg) so leftovers for dinner was an added bonus.My friend had beef soup and loved it. I tried a piece of yucca from that and it was superb-really nuanced flavor

Food was good, service was good, came from out of town and I tried this location. Was a nice surprise at quality and quantity was a good size dish. I would definitely recommend any traveling to or through the area to stop and try it.

Everytime i go in there is less on this dish yucca con chicharon siempre que voy dan menos. But u paid the same price and the server never be around or put attention to u order pero siempre el mismo precio las meseras son super despistadas

I do not think I have ever experienced Mexican food that was this good. As a heads up the menu is mostly in Spanish, the people working speak minimal English, and the other customers are also speaking Spanish. Whatever place you thought was good for Mexican food, just stop, come here. Get ya face stuffed. Tacos here are ones that cannot be limited to just one day a week. The pupusas are delicious savoury Mexican pancakes, that is just the best way to describe them. Prices and portion sizes are all in the good direction.

This place was awesome. They were very busy but they were cleaning tables as soon as customers left to get more customers seated. The food was out in a very timely matter. The only thing I seen wrong was, since I hadn't been there before I asked the waitress what something was and she couldn't explain it. But really that was just being picky. I can't wait to go back!!!

Today I had the breakfast special with steak. It was wonderful!!! I have had several items from the menu , and they are all great but I keep going back to the breakfast !!! The servers and the owner are always very welcoming when I come !!! I will be a regular !!!

They have good food and i used to frequent this place for lunch (carryout). I feel they stopped appreciating my money. I would wait 20-30 mins for a few tacos, even when the place was almost empty. I complained about it one time and they didn't have the decency to apologize.

The food here is some of the best I've had in Kansas City. Their tacos / burritos del pastor are fantastic, with ample serving sizes and plenty of flavor, and the menu offers many other dishes just as tasty. Staff is friendly, though the wait for my check both times I've been here has been a bit long for the lack of other visitors, which is the only reason I'm giving four stars. Hope to update with five stars soon!

I’m a regular here, I’ve never had a bad experience until my last two times coming here. I’m pregnant so I crave the tacos, they been messing up the orders recently and don’t take in consideration of people’s feelings. Alfonso the guy who works up front now is very rude. I told him my order twice just to make sure everything was right and it was still wrong. When I told him the order was wrong he got upset extremely fast, took it to the back and told me to put the stuff on there myself and also told me to take my a** to 7th street. I’ve told many people about this restaurant and how it’s my favorite. Today was the last time for me and they will absolutely get blasted on all of my social media’s. If i could rate 0 for service I absolutely would.

Great pupusas! I love going to Las Palmas for the pupusas, chips and salsa, Micheladas, and overall relaxed feel. Parking is never an issue, staff is always friendly, and the prices make it reasonable to come back all the time. If you are lucky there will be some Mariachis that are super fun!
