Love that there’s ample parking. Our sever Kyle was engaging and attentive. Our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and came with a choice of sides. Nice bonus of having fresh pineapple as an alternative to fries! We will be back.

The service here can be a little slow, but I'm more than willing to overlook it considering they have the best lunch special ever ($12 for any burger, side, and pint). The burgers themselves are fantastic and the daily special burgers can get elaborate.

We love to just walk in and try new places. We went inside and stood at the sign that said, "Wait to be Seated" We kept standing there until it got awkward. My husband and I were whispering to each other like, ,"Maybe we don't have to wait? Idk, the sign clearly says wait." The place is pretty small, especially the entrance, there's no way that the bartender didn't see us standing there. As soon as this white couple walks in he says, "Hi guys!" And starts asking them where they prefer to sit. The kind couple says, "They were here first" ... but he was still only eager to seat them. So we left. No thank you, we get the point--We didn't need any spit in our food. Went and tried HopCat up the street and had a really good time and a damn good burger.

The burger itself wasn't anything too impressive, but the topping combinations and the fresh cut fries steal the show!! app's are good as well, all of our food came out hot! beer selection is great, games to play while you wait, would be good for a couples night or a casual during the week meal. incredibly friendly staff, restrooms need some work

Being from out of town, you know you hit the jackpot when you find the "place to be" for the locals! Highly recommend!! Amazing staff, if you're not sure what to order leave it to them! Side note- if you're there on a Friday or Saturday, I strongly recommend seeing KC Improve/Kick Off Comedy (connected)!

The food is priced Right, and not bad at all. The problem is the service is terrible. If you sit at one of the tables in the back side of the restaurant it's hard to get them to help you. Tonight was the second time I went and the second time I've had the same problem. Maybe they just need more wait staff.

Absolutely awesome food, great atmosphere, wonderful people, and trivia nights are some really good times. The food is very very good and the prices are very fair. On top of that the people were very nice. Just makes for a great night out or a nice meal out. Will be frequenting this spot regularly. The drink prices were fair as well. 5 stars for sure!!

Decent almost dive-bar vibe to the place, but not raunchy. Clean and neat - not a plastic feel. Service is not franchise-like but can vary depending on who is working. Great food prices. Need to go back several more times to consume different beers. Basic food menu - extensive beer menu.

Extremely apathetic waitresses, long wait for food and incredibley rude lady who runs the trivia night. The jukebox has no warning that you can't use it during trivia and we had no way of knowing that it would interfere with the trivia because there was background music playing so we assumed it would change that song(plus we we're in between rounds so she wasn't even talking yet). When my friend did the lady came over and yelled at him and then proceeded to be extremely rude. Acting like we had just set fire to her precious little trivia night. Very lame and very uncool.

I have been coming to Green Room once a week for the last year. This place is not your typical bar. Green Room has interactive fun staff, jenga and board games for your entertainment while you wait for your food, and always has some kind of weird show/movie playing quietly in the background. It is the perfect hole-in-the-wall. They have a fantastic beer selection (a special of which is brewed in-house). The food is absolutely delicious. I always order the Alice burger with cooked mushrooms-this is the best burger I've ever had, the fries are also mouth-watering. They have very good prices for what you get-about $9 for a burger. If I had one critique it would be that I wish they hadn't changed their ranch (it is a little oily and greenish now). I love the environment, and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive.

Took my daughter here after we read the reviews and were looking for good craft burger place. Reviews were correct! I had the Forty-Ten and she had the Cheesy Brownfield, and both were awesome! Even better was the service and the young Man who waited on us from behind the bar. What an awesome experience and place. Not busy and very comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely visit again next time in KC. Craft beer was good as well!

The servers are great, friendly and helpful. The food was bar food, the dinner fries were ice cold. Not worth $8.00. Nothing impressive food wise. Good for burgers and beer but don't try anything else. Wine is cheap, to bad. A good chef could make this cozy spot really memorable. Add some quality, fresh food, better than $6.00 bottle wine and something other than burgers and it could be more than generic bar offerings.

This place is great 99% of the time The burgers and sandwiches here are pretty great in general. We go here a few times per month and the food has been good at least most of the time. They have the best tater tots I have ever had in my life and they have great prices on local and regional beers. My favorite thing about this place is the service. The wait staff here has an odd manner about them sometimes, and not odd as in unappealing, but odd for what is typically considered to be the "proper" way.

Place used to be good. Came here for lunch today and ordered a quarter pound burger and it was the smallest burger I've ever seen. On top of that, they charged extra for a side of ranch. The ranch was runny and the food was subpar at best. I don't know what happened to this place but I will not be coming back.

Worst service I've had in a long time. Came just after happy hour when there was less that 6 people in the bar and table area. Waited 45 minutes for a burger and tots. Waitress didn't come check on us or update us on the food since we sat down. Had to walk up to the bar to ask for our food and then again to ask for the check to pay. The burger was good, but not worth a 45 minute wait and no service.

Ive been going here since i was about 12 a main staple the orion or the dublin is my favorite, i had just walked in with my fiancee on a date and fully expected to pay 30-40$ we ordered 2 burgers and they had a buy 1 get one free on burgers and then the awesome cheap in house beer was only 3$ a pop we walked out with a bill for 20$ and full stomachs

I just like it here!!! The vibe, the food, the service, the beer....its great. The 3 of us had burgers...the brownfield with goat cheese and fried egg...the original Tom and the forty-ten. We all lived them!!!! The green room Scottish Ale at room temp was amazing!! You must go there....you won't regret it. Oh, by the way...Kyle made a great malt... we lived it!!!!

It is called "The Green Room" because there used to be a concert venue where Char-Bar is now. Nowadays it just has the best burgers in Westport and a decent Homebrew beer. There are board games to chill with and it is very much a pub atmosphere: no dressing up required.

A wonderful casual and honest bar and grill with a consistently rotating in-house beer selection mixed with a well spoken for menu that includes a seasonal menu. The bartenders and servers are professionally personanable and alleviate all tensions every visit. The drink specials alone are more than enough to return time and time again. If you are a frugal go-getter then Green Room is an easy choice. Not to say they are purely a cheap date, but mixed with the casual atmosphere, it makes it a restaurant you may visit comfortably multiple times a week. Many more things to be said, but one must go there themselves!

I had the Forty-Ten burger with Fiddler fries and an Oreo Shake. The wheat bun was really good, the patties were phenomenal and the bacon was crunchy. It was a really good burger, they are doing them right at this place. The fries were smothered in bacon, cheese, and peppers. They have plenty of beers on tap, I had an oatmeal stout from Minnesota that was really good. It's a pretty nice bar too, definitely worth checking out.

I was there for trivia as friends wanted to play...the Cuban was great, would return for that. The server was rude. I use to be a server so I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but she really pissed me off. I get you have people who may come in and camp out to reserve tables for trivia, but the rest of my party was literally in the parking lot, and also I wanted to order food. Be reasonable, you are a dive bar at best not some in-demand, Micheline Star restaurant.

I love this place! Two words, Fiddler Fries! The food is fantastic, the beer is amazing, the staff always brings their A game, and it's got trivia night! I have had every single item on the menu as well as a few creations not listed and every. single. one. has been delicious! Their beer selection is wide and they even offer their own brews! I have never once had any issue with a member of the staff. I have taken every single guest that has visited our great city here and never once have they let me down. This is THE place for burgers and beers in KC!

My wife and I stopped in for a burger and fries. Since she is gluten sensitive, she got a burger without a bun and a gluten free beer. The bartender was good about this and even mentioned a keto friendly dish since someone related to the owner also has sensitivities. My wife enjoyed everything, but didn't get very many fries. I tried the Breakfast Burger which was very tasty. I had a normal portion of fries that I shared. I tried a flight of their beers they make themselves. I really enjoyed 3 of the 4 and could see myself having a full glass of the three. They have a large beer selection. I wouldn't call this a romantic place and since it doesn't have any windows, you could almost call it a dive, but a fun dive with great burgers is what I would say. Parking is great considering this is in Westport.

Whom ever said "basic bar food" ha! The burgers are spectacular, but throw in the topping selection and the fries topping selection you can easily eat here a month before you are through half the combos. In addition to the beer menu, they have usually 50+ options all my local favorites, if this isn't enough to convince you I say "boardgames" child hood beauty, and geeks who drink trivia. It's worth the visit. I've made it my buyer beer go to.

Excellent unique burgers and always a great beer selection, especially if you like fresh crafted and local. Every burger I have tried here is great, but my two favorite are the Dubbel Dubliner and the Breakfast Burger. Last time I opted for the Breakfast Burger with a double dose of Dubliner cheese because I couldn't quite decide between the two. Note, this place is a bit of a dive, which we like, but don't come here expecting fancy, and it can get crowded and slow down service at times. Just order one of their great drinks and relax a bit. Also, the specials here are unbeatable!

The only edible thing we received was a grilled cheese...the onion rings were way over cooked, the nachos were terribly over cooked, the tacos were ice cold and looked like a chopped up hamburger patty had been used for meat, the house burger was terribly dry...they had two bud lights in the restaurant and told us they were out of cold Bud Light when they were really totally out of it...the server was the best part of the experience. The owner came out to defend the mess we were experiencing and defended it as of to tell us what we were experiencing was really not what our experience was. Won’t be back, hope the server finds a new establishment, he was a great guy!

Nice locally owned and operated restaurant specializing in, you guessed it, burgers and beer. I've enjoyed many meals and beverages here since they opened. The food is good, the beer selection is large, and they brew their own line of beers in-house as well. My only complaint with this place is the inattentive service staff. If the front of house would just get organized, they could kill it. Also, when they offer specials, they don't allow any substitutions or removals. I personally can't stand the taste of ketchup. It doesn't cost them anything to not put an ingredient on, and they're rarely busy enough to warrant refusing to do so.
