For my money it's the best Chinese food in town. The staff is friendly. The food is incredible. And if your getting it to go don't worry it will still be hot not warm hot by the time you get home. I have no idea how they keep their food that warm but somehow they do. I'll be back many times.

I hadn't been to Dragon Inn for many years but always had good memories with great food. Very little has changed. The food was good. Service was great as was the amount of food we got for so little $$. We were in the area and stopped in for lunch. We were so surprised there was not a bigger crowd, particularly on a Friday. The food was hot and fresh except for the egg rolls. We will look for an opportunity to go back to try more menu items.

'Crispy duck' was ridiculously dry and overcooked bits of deep fried duck on the bone that tasted like nothing but grease. The soft spring rolls had very little flavor as they are about 95% filled with lettuce with a tiny portion of shrimp. The service was fine but I would not recommend anyone to eat these dishes.

Horrible experience. Exited to try new place ordered take out for family in town!! All 7 of us ended up with food poisoning!! Called manager and they were extremely rude and unhelpful! He stated I was threatening him by calling and stating all of us got sick. Horrible place and staff!! Called health department for sure!! I have never been so sick!!

This is one of my favorite local spots! My daughter and I have been regulars at Dragon Inn since she was TWO (she is now 7). SUPERB customer service, we have always enjoyed our experience here and adore Ms. Emily who takes care of us! My girl loves the steamed dumplings (they are made fresh) and egg drop soup. I can not convince her to eat eggs any other way!

I loved this place...it has been there for 44 yrs...under same ownership...they have a great following and the service was excellent...the food was delicious and was deliver fast.. I ordered the Chicken Lettuce Wraps as an appetizer and the Crispy Spring Rolls... Delicious. As my main course I had Moo Shi Chicken which tasted so wonderful.. For desert we had the Honey Sesame Pineapple...which was enuff for 2 people to eat.. I was so stuff... I had to have a cup of coffee...it was awesome...

It's fun going to the kind of Chinese restaurant that you remember growing up - lots of red, lanterns and curved doorways. The food is hot, served quickly and tastes good. However, other than the crab rangoon, there's nothing really memorable about the food, and it's not inexpensive. With so many good options for Asian cuisine, Dragon Inn is little more than a novelty.

Our server was unfriendly and inattentive. Our food was way over priced for what we got. We ordered the lunch combo sweet and sour and the general tso. Our crab Rangoon’s and egg rolls tasted liked they had been refried to warm them back up, slight burnt oil taste to make things even better. The rest of the meal lacked flavor and was generally just gross. Worst Chinese I’ve ever had.

Have been coming here for many years. Was excited to take my grandkids here and they loved it. Was here today with my neighbor who has an issue with her knee leaving. The lady from the register came out with a chair and helped us get my friend in the car. It was at least a 30 minute deal and she stayed with us til I got my friend in the car! Literally the best Chinese food in the city. Me and the boyfriend go here whenever we want to have a nice quiet dinner together. The restaurant is small but very homey and the staff is always friendly and provides exceptional service. The inside is beautiful and very warm and has a great ambiance to it. Their fried rice is literally the best ive ever had and they give very generous portion sizes for the price. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was good. It is a little pricier than Chinese fast-food takeout. I could overlook that because the cleanliness of the restaurant was comforting and the service was excellent. From where I was sitting, I could see into the kitchen each time our waitress would enter or exit and it was very clean. Also, the restroom was very clean. So you pay a little more but it is worth it. If you like shrimp, I recommend the empress shrimp.

The dragon in is a lovely place to have a good quality Chinese meal I've been there several times the food is always spectacular. It's traditional and the service is always impeccable I've enjoyed every visit I've had there and I always have some food to take home with me. The crab rangoon is delicious the egg drop soup is great. General Tso's chicken was fantastic the ambience and atmosphere are top-notch. It's not overly expensive nor is a cheap I guess it's fast and lands love that place. It's been there a really long time but it looks clean looks new it's in a fun part of the old Downtown Overland Park area right on the corner.

I spent $90 dollars on carry out celebrating my son's birthday and nothing was considered delicious. The food even smelled funny. I am so disgusted seeing I was excited to try this place and ended up throwing more money than i can afford away. Even the egg rolls were disgusting. I so wanted my money back. Never again.

Fairly good food and decent prices in quaint downtown OP. Food always seems to come out fairly quickly. I think they're due for some remodeling or updating to the inside as I don't think anything has been changed since at least the 90's. Would recommend if you're in the area.

I don't know how they do it, but they're so fast! Crab rangoon is delivered within just a couple minutes of ordering - EVERY time! The staff is friendly and the place is cleaner than any other long-running Chinese place I've visited before. I've been coming here for over 20 years and it's just as good now as it was back in highschool.

Dragon Inn has the best Chinese food in O.P. The Crab Rangoon is so hot, creamy and delicious without the sweet taste you find in some fillings. The hot and sour soup is always fresh with just the right amount of spiciness. I dont think we have ever had a dish there we didnt enjoy. I love the General Taos Chicken but I wish it was a little spicier. They have different levels of spicy you can order but it never seems spicy enough. The staff is always super friendly too. I would recommend them for anyone wanting great food.

Me and my bf showed up an hour before they closed and they greeted us with a smile . when our waitress came to take our orders ahe waa very friendly and even joked around with us. Typically when you show up that close to closing time you dont get as good as service and they try to rush everything so it was a good change! They're food is delicious and better than most places i have been! Will be going here more often for sure.
