Excellent food for a lunch buffet mid week. We ate a lot of food and even though it wasn't packed, they kept bringing out hot and fresh dishes. You will definitely get your money's worth; very reasonably priced. Add the snow crab to your meal, you won't regret it.

Save your money guys, me and the wife are pretty open and understanding about food flavors and freshness but the food here was dry, Ill flavored and the sushi was "crab based only to save money" per the person preparing the sushi. We tried 3 different types of noodles and their deserts, general tso chicken, rangoons, dim sum, etc. All were pretty terrible.

Fantastic selection and great price! I am rather particularly and prefer food without a lot of breading. Bamboo offers a wide selection of items that are not breaded and fried. The dishes are all distinctly different (and delicious!) in taste. Bamboo is my Chinese food restaurant of choice, and has redefined what I should expect from a great Chinese restaurant.

This place is decent for lunch. It does have a wide variety of dishes to include a salad bar, lots of fruit options, the dessert bar has small cakes, cookies, ice cream and etc. There is a raw bar I'm not sure what's on it. There's some American stuff to include pizza, mac and cheese, french fries, chicken nuggets, roast beef and carrots. There are lots of other options. I usually eat only the chicken on a stick which is delicious and I have some fruit. The strawberry stuff is so yummy. Lots of tables and it isn't usually crowded. We will eat here again.

Terrible. We were there at 5pm when dinner should start. The person greeted us very rudely. The food was disgusting. All of it had obviously been sitting since lunch ended. The "sushi" had been sitting there so long the avocado in it was brown and the rice dried into sandpaper. there was flies landing all over the food. Definitely would not recommend. Save your families lives and go somewhere else.

We were super disappointed! There was plenty of food but it was hard and cold. We ate at dinner time but nothing was cooked fresh! They only have sweet tea and you have to get your drinks yourself. They didn’t have any ice cream cones which definitely disappointed the kids!Lots of sushi selection but it was warm.... I wouldn’t recommend this place especially for the price!!!

The food was really good, but the service (if you can call ot that) is horrible. The person "greeting" is not friendly at all, takes your money and says nothing; leaving you to ask about seating. We got water, then self seved ourself. You can get what ever you want, there is no service. Food was good, the selection is top notch and there is food for kids and adults.

Food was warm (not hot), a lot of the food was over cooked or disgusting to taste (to more then just me) and the back room we sat in had a horrible smell- almost like moth balls. Also, a roach ran across the floor when we were headed to get a drink. Will not be returning, EVER! Was not worth the $50 we spent.

Overpriced and they very infrequently refill the food trays. I’ve sat there on multiple occasions for well over an hour waiting for them to refill a dish I came in looking for, to no avail. They let dirty plates sit out on the tables equally as long. Barely any seafood. Want a better deal? Go to Golden Wok on Seth Child and Anderson. Fresher food, cheaper, better customer service.

Came in around 8 pm. They close at 930. We were the only ones inside for quite some time. Food was sub par tasting and had clearly been under the heat lamps for some time. Salad bar had everything including all of 7 pieces of lettuce. Had pretty bad diarrhea afterwards and won't be going back for both this reason and the fact that it costs $30 for two people to eat dinner here!!!

Will not be coming back. Fried rice was dry, krabrangoonz had no cream filling, sweet and sour chicken was very over cooked. Both drink fountains produced flat carbonated old pop out of every dispenser. Price was $14.25 for an adult dinner buffet, which I felt was way over priced from when I first walked in the door before I even got my first plate.

Lots of options for Chinese dishes as well as Amercian dishes (pizza, French fries, corn nuggets, potatoes). Also have a salad bar and dessert bar with soft serve ice cream dispenser. Only compliant was that no rice options were on the buffet, only noddles. You pay up front and help yourself, including drinks.

Possibly the worst chinese buffet I've ever been too. The cashier was so pleased to be at work and very rude to my sister and I, the food clearly was old and had been sitting in the hot wells for a while, had zero taste or was over seasoned. I would not recommend this place. Waste of money.

The best part was the soft serve ice cream. Wasn't really greeted when we walked in. Paid & then the lady left like we were to know what to do or where to go. Fried food was hard & Pad Thai was squishy & bland. The crab rangoon had been cooked so long that the cream cheese had evaporated. It does make me appreciate the great Chinese buffet in my home town.

Whenever I travel I always look for a Chinese buffet. This was better than average. Always judge a buffet by how many Seafood items they offer and how fresh at the seafood is that they offer. The Bamboo Buffet had plenty of options and the food was well prepared. Next time I'm I am in the area I will visit this restaurant again.

I only found that I like four things. Ice cream teriyaki chicken, pork rib and water. The rest of the food was either hard or bland or even both. I was recommend here but I will no longer take there advice. Also the avacodo in the sushi was bad. I felt like I got robbed from my money

We used to love this place, but now it's just bad. Last time we went, there was so many empty spots on the buffet & old dry food, but not a single thing was refilled for the entire time we were there. The workers were sitting around watching tv. There was no ice. The kitchen was empty and they didn't say anything about that when we paid. We actually sat there for 2 hours, waiting for them to bring out food, but never happened. There was about 12 or 13 customers at the time, not a lot I know, but that's no excuse-I paid for dinner and didn't get any!

I would give lower if possible. The only decent thing here is the egg drop soup. The majority of the food looks really old and tastes exactly how would expect. The cashier was rude and seemed like she absolutely hates working here and I dont blame her. Do not come here, it was a waste of $30 dollars. EDIT: Also, all the soda dispensers were out of syrup besides like mountain dew and diet Pepsi.

I've been here a handful of times. The food is good and plenty of room to sit. They have a wide variety of dishes, too even include daily specials. It does have food for children of they don't want the Chinese food. Yes this place does have a limited sushi selection, but is still great.

This place needs to be updated. The cashier wasn't very friendly at all, and there's no wonder why you pay before you can even see the buffet. The sushi has probably been sitting out for quite awhile; the avocado in it has turned dark green. I never saw anyone behind that counter. The food wasn't very good (I ate three items; noodles, seasoned green beans, and lo mein). Needless to say, we will not be back.

To those of you who have given a good review... you might check and make sure this was the right place. Worst Chinese or what ever you want to call it! Arrived to a line of people waiting and someone had to find someone just to get them to come to the register. I am pretty sure that they have you pay first because they know they are just as bad. Food was either undercooked, overcooked, coated in oil and seasoning, tasted old or ...... yeah 5 minutes after eating here and I have thrown up. Look I leave reviews as I call them. PS: I dont know how your restaurant is still open but apparently you're doing something right or you still wouldn't be open. Good luck to you.

We arrived at 5:00pm for an early dinner. There was plenty of variety but unfortunately most of the food was room temperature. The egg rolls and egg drop soup were delicious but the majority of the rest of the food tasted mediocre at best. The service was terrible, we had to fill our own glasses and our dirty plates were still sitting on the table until we left. We are not locals and chose this restaurant because of the walking distance from our hotel. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone.

We love this place especially for our k-state students. Bamboo Buffet offer 10% off for us and military too! It is great to eat here! They have a lot of changes. New couches. Some new foods. New salad cooked shrimp with sweet spicy sauce. Yum. Thursday has craw fish and Dim Sum is my favorite. On weekends they have Pepper Shrimp and squid and frog leg and cocktails shrimp. Once you try it out. You would definitely love it.

I may be biases because I dislike buffet style restaurants but I didn't like this one. The cashier was not friendly at all, like she didn't wanna be there. The sesame chicken was hard like it had been reheated. Some of the meat looked dry ... just not a very good place to eat in my opinion. I saw one staff cleaning and eating off the plates of what appeared to be his family. No problem just weird.... all in all will not recommend. I enjoy places friendly welcoming staff. It was a bit depressing, nobody cleaned up our plates and we left. Will never be returning.
