PF Changs is one of those interesting and fun places to eat. They have a huge variety of Chinese / Cantonese dishes with some variations to throw you back in your seat. They also have a large selection of wines and drinks. My wife and I started out with a couple appetizers. We tried Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wraps and the Salt and Pepper Calamari. The Lettuce Wraps were a tasty and refreshing. We agreed that we would get that again. We moved right to the main dishes. I tried the Wok seared Lamb. This was tender and full of sesame flavor. My wife elected to go with the Moo Moo Gai Pan. We enjoyed that as well. This was a mixture of shrimp and chicken in a clear sauce. Service was pretty good and they were relatively busy for a 7:30pm Dinner. I would recommend calling ahead and making a reservation- especially on a Friday and Saturday night. It definitely ranks high in my book for service and taste.

I got food poisoning from this place. Other PF Changs that I have been to in other states are very good, but this location is n unfortunate exception. The fruit in the cheesecake was moldy, their shrimp was completely dry and tasted funky, even their rice was hard and stale. What the heck is wrong with this location? Completely unacceptable and I will never go here again.

Food was mediocre but absolutely not worth the price and service was not good. We went at 6 Friday. The check process was horrendous. We waited 10 minutes to get the checks. Another 10 for the server to pick them up and another 15 minutes to get them back to sign. That process was longer than we took to order and eat. The problem o have is that we were not updated on the process. IF the server was having difficulties he did not acknowledge it. And the manager did not stop by our table once. Isn’t that supposed to happen at every restaurant? Will not be returning and this is a reminder as to why I do not come here often.

Very much enjoyed the food and had a good waiter encounter. Seating area is one large open area with kind of an odd feel where the booths look out over the table area. Not much for sound dampening. If there is a crying baby nearby you will know it (as was my experience) I like the food but doubt I will be back anytime soon because of the atmosphere.

Having issues tonight. Lettuce wraps never came. The other order never got rice, water never got refilled and the people next to us had big issues with manager coming out. Plates breaking in the back. Probably done at this location.

The rolls are amazing. Ordered wanton soup but it had no wantons in it but they were happy to replace the order. I liked that the menu had a wide variety to choose from and the atmosphere was relaxing, perfect fo date night.

It is interesting to read the reviews because they confirm my experiences at the Jordan Creek restaurant. It is hit or miss. There is no consistency. One time I ordered the sea bass ($26) and it was phenomenal and I couldnt wait to order it again and the 2nd time it was okay but after that experience I will never order it again. Management needs to step up their game because in Arizona I never had a bad experience. There are two standbys that I order, lettuce wraps and the eggplant dish listed under the vegetarian section but even that can be over or undercooked at times. Recently they added three salads to their menu. I ordered the Vietnamese Noodle salad. Oh my God. It looked nothing like the photo and it was horable. I don't know how they can serve it. I brought the waiters attention to the photo of the salad loaded with tomatoes and the salad I was served with no tomatoes. I also told him the dressing was so spicey I couldn't eat it. He said, "Oh, you are right" and walked away. You are taking your chances when you eat at P.F. Chang's in West Des Moines. It is often very disappointing.

The food gave everyone diarrhea. the waiters kept getting everything wrong, I never got my food and when I did my whole family was already done, I asked for soup twice and never got any, it was horrible and I do not recommend this restaurant, the waiters are terrible, please get better waiters and maybe I will recommend this.

I ordered chicken fried rice. Cost me about $10, which is quite a bit more than I pay for chicken fried rice, but I figured it would be awesome since it cost so much. It's not like any chicken fried rice I've gotten anywhere else. I don't know what pfchang was trying to make, but it is lacking flavor. The chicken is breaded and dry. There was a bunch of veggies and no egg. I drove out of my way for some awesome Chinese food. I was very disappointed.

Picked up a huge carryout order for my husband's 50th birthday, the girl who gave us our order wouldn't print out a receipt, we got home and had someone else's order. Called back, explained what had happened, went back, the person whose order we got was waiting, said she had been waiting for 45 minutes, no one told her that her order had gone to someone else.

Review due to service. And consider that I sat at the bar. Lst time I was at this location was at least six months ago and I vowed never to return die to their poor service. Intook a chance on them again today and they did it again. Appetizers simultaneously with entrees and even poorly cooked (burned). I swear I will never return to this location. I do hope they have the chocolate wall cake thing because last time they had ran out believe it or not

I ordered fried rice. The waiter served it to the guy sitting two seats away at the bar. After he got done picking around in it he decided it was not his. What does the waiter do? He picks it up then sits it in front of me. Yeah, like I'm now going to eat it. Overpriced. Microwaved. Guys who can't speak a lick of English cooking fast food. Forget it. Go to Kum and Go and buy yourself one of those microwave burgers. Better tasting, less expensive.

We went about 2pm on a Friday afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and the appetizers were pretty fast. The new orange chicken recipe is a bit spicier than my kids remember it to be last visit. Kind of wish I had a heads up the recipe changed. Especially when I said my kids were splitting. But, they toughed it out. It was the girl who had the most unhappiness on the change.

Freshest, crunchier bean sprouts I've ever had. Fresh veggies and nice portions. Nice atmosphere and just right lighting. Prices on par with other places. Went there for lunch and ordered off that menu. Took a bit longer than I'd hoped to get food out , for a lunch stop that should be quick IMHO, but table service was excellent! If lunch menu gets out to table faster....5 stars.

We ordered delivery, the food was beyond bland. NO taste!!! I felt so bad for my daughter, I put the food back in a skillet and added soy sauce , garlic powder and teriyaki just to give it taste. The sad thing is was expensive!! We have never dined in so I don't know if this is what they serve in the restaurant. If their food tastes better in the restaurant then this means that they have no integrity when they send out such horrible food out for delivery. Never again!!

I've been to this place twice now and loved both experiences. The view from the balcony in the summer is very peaceful. Strongly recommend for dates. They're surprisingly good with my kids too, who are two and four, but I recommend leaving the little ones at home for this restaurant if they are anywhere near as rambunctious as mine (they're like a 7.5 on the Richter scale). I think we annoyed one of the other tables near us that time, but they were super kind about it. Shout out to the staff that brought my boys rice out early!

Very slow service with uneven and poorly cooked food. I took my son to P.F. Chang's this evening. While it was not crowded service was very slow. The wrong meal came to our table and then later my meal came but not my son's meal. 10 minutes later we still did not have his food and I had to find the waitress and ask. While the idea of the jicama tacos is lovely mine were unevenly cooked , with gristle and some rare chicken. It was soggy and sloppy. The chicken in my son's noodles was very tough. When I tried to talk to the waitress about my rare food issue she took the tacos away (uneaten) but did not ask if I would like anything else or offer to address the issue. This is the second time we have eaten there with similar results. From now on we will stick to Cool Basil and Wasabi Chi- both of which have better service and food.

I have been here a few times as this is the go to place for our team to go out. I feel most dishes (vegetarian) are under cooked. I ordered Thai garden fresh curry and the vegetables are chunky and way under cooked. I could actually say they are very raw. There ambience is very good and place is very clean.

I ordered Veg Fried Rice- with no Egg, Mushroom and Broccoli.. the order was made with Broccoli in it.. when I asked to replace to they removed the Broccoli from the existing order they made it.. instead of making it new and they handed to me and when I reached home, it had Broccoli pieces in it, i could see it.. it’s disgusting we are paying money for what we want, try to be good with customers don’t cheat people we trust in you guys.. will not visit again, highly not recommend at all..

This place is consistently good, so you're unlikely to go wrong here. Food, service, drinks - I've yet to have a bad experience! Their street noodles in particular are excellent, and their red rice ale is a unique offering.

I was very disappointed with my service. I had to ask for a straw even though the person I was with got one for her drink. I didn't really feel welcomed into the restaurant by my waiter. I had to ask for to go boxes at least twice. The food was lackluster. When I asked to substitute my rice for noodles, my waiter said "The noodles aren't even that good." And on top of everything, my gift card didn't even work so that just added insult to injury. I will not be going back. The only reason that it's more than one star is because I enjoyed the aesthetic of the restaurant itself.

We came on a busy Friday night for supper (waited 30min). Our server-Aaron, was super nice and courteous! Awesome service and delicious food! The only reason I gave four stars is because the bathroom floor had tons of napkins. Wished it was a little cleaner. Overall, I still recommend coming to this restaurant for Asian cuisine!

The Mongolian beef was delicious, so so good. I tried three other chicken dishes and they did not compare to the beef dish. Prices are a bit steep but again the Mongolian beef was fantastic. Great service. Clean restaurant and bathroom.

Been here a few times but tonight was one of the worst times. First the server Brendan was very rude he clearly did not want to serve us. Then our food comes out, we ordered the Crispy Honey Chicken (our normal) clearly something wasn’t right with the food. It was very spicy. We couldn’t find Brendan to tell him about it so we ended up telling the host which was super nice and agreed that the food didn’t look right. She was super welcoming and made the experience less annoying. I really hope others don’t have to experience the rudeness of Brendan.

Party of 2, on a very slow mid-afternoon and we sat for 10 minutes without being waited on. We flagged down the hostess, asking to get some service, but she blew us off, and we waited another 5 minutes without service. 2 other couples, who were seated AFTER US, were waited on and already served drinks by then. Today was my first visit to PF Chang's. Our favorite server, Jeremy (Chubbs) came here from Red Robin, so we decided to come here for Father's Day. As it so happened, it was a good choice! Also of note, they have a good gluten-free menu here, which we used. I had the hokkien street noodles, with the wife having chicken fried rice. Both of us had the egg drop soup. The hokkien street noodles were very tasty. Each flavor was distinct, yet not one ingredient overpowered the other. With having changed to gluten-free, it was nice to be able to have Asian food again. The egg drop soup was well-seasoned, while not being spicy at all. When I need some comfort food or when I (or the wife) are sick, we will have to order delivery via GrubHub. Because we know Jeremy from before, we knew that he would treat us right, and today was exceptional, par for the course. I think my wife and I have found a new favorite spot. Of note, PF Chang's is a couple notches above Red Robin, which I greatly enjoy. Makes the atmosphere much more enjoyable.

It's to bad I have to give them a star. My girlfriend and I sat down and waited for 17 minutes before we had a waiter even come over to ask of what we wanted to drink. Not a good start in my book. I ordered the lemon chicken the old style and the guy came back telling me the no longer serve this item, I've got it several times and then one day they just cut it. I ended up not getting anything else because the rest of their food sucks. Our waiter came back only 2 more times to check on us the rest of the night. It was a real shame. I will not be going back again.

I had lunch for the first time at a P.F. Chang's. Nice peaceful atmosphere. The lunch menu prices were reasonable. The food was good. I had the Mongolian Beef Bowl with fried rice. The bill was $12.95. Linda, my server was very nice, and actually recommend the Crispy Honey Chicken Bowl.

I've eaten here a couple of times & haven't been impressed by the food or service. The last time I was there the food was so spicy I couldn't eat it and it wasn't supposed to be a spicy dish. My boyfriend ordered his meal & 10 mins later they told him they didn't make that dish anymore. It took 20 minutes from when we sat down to get service and we only got 1 refill for water in the 1 hr & 20 minutes we were there.

July 2nd, 2019 - It was a lonely Friday night and then it hit me.. BAM I needed some chinese food in my life! Heard great things about PF Changs so figured I'd give them a try. I'm usually an orange chicken type of guy but when I saw the spicy chicken I couldn't resist. Fast forward to 10 minutes after drooling over the menu it was time to call and place my order. I was feeling good so I ordered the spicy chicken and 4 extra crab rangoons. Didn't eat anything since breakfast so it's safe to say I was HANGRY. Sped my little car up to PF Changs just to be told that my order never came in.. I had to show them my phone call history just for them to believe I actually called in to place an order. I was told by the manager that they have a "call center" who takes orders for them and most of the time they won't send the order to them. So I asked if they could make my order since I was super hungry and I was denied 40 minutes before they closed since they were "cleaning up for the night". Such a shame I was so excited to try this place out but it's safe to safe this was my first and last trip to PF Changs until they go to PF CHANGES. Ended up having a Mcdonalds burger with extra cheese and it sucked. Thanks PF Changs

Service was slow. I understand today was mother's day and they were busy. However, it took 30 minutes to get seated, 30 minutes to get our appetizers and another 30 minutes for our food. I dont expect to be at a restaurant for a total of 2 hours. The waitress didnt communicate very well and she only came to our table 3 times. We were not asked how our food was. When your paying hundreds for food and 22w× you should feel satisfied with your service when your only expectation is good food in a decent amount of time with polite and helpful staff. This resteraunt has good food and they are usually polite. Most of my experiences at P.F. Changs have been 5 stars, but today was not one of those times. I would have to say I would have been satisfied had my bill been half of what we paid. Which leads me to my last point. I noticed the price of some of the menu items has also increased since my last visit granted that was in December of 2018.

Ask for Chubbs for your waiter. We have followed him from restaurant to restaurant, and he's the reason we tried PF Chang's after a 17-year hiatus. He gives the best service of nearly any waiter ever. Things have definitely changed for the better since I first ate at the one in Columbia, MD, all those years ago. Freshly prepared food, huge portions, and an entirely separate gluten-free menu with plenty of choices. We had the egg drop soup, fried rice with chicken, and Hokkien street noodles...all tasty and reasonably priced. Sadly, there are no gluten-free desserts. But we hope that changes in time.

Excellent experience here. Requested a booth and manager immediately asked someone to clean it and prepare it for us. The drinks and food were served fast, and the meal itself was excellent. I'd rather go to Dragon Cafe for about $30 total. Save your money. A buddy of mine put it quite nicely. "PF Chang's is the Cheesecake Factory of Chinese food. Way overpriced mediocre food." Except PF Chang's doesn't have cheesecake to redeem itself...

This is our special occasion place. Food or Service never disappoints, it's just a little pricey but it's worth it. Avoid sitting next to the doors during colder weather as there will be a chilly breeze every time someone opens them.

I asked for chopsticks and server brought them to me without being wrapped into napkin or something like that. 2 and half stars would be more appropriate but since there is no option for that I'm giving them 3 stars. I would no go there again anytime soon simply because some local Chinese buffet food is most of the time better than food in this restaurant.

P.F. Chang’s is a great chain, but this location does not put in the effort to be as good as other Changs in other cities. Despite being assured every single time by the take-out person that our order is correct, it almost never is. It’s gotten to the point where we probably won’t go again—just silly. Also the food here seems to be pretty greasy compared to other PF Chang’s. Not sure why that would be, but we’ve both noticed it over time.

A group of friends and I are all allergic to gluten. We ordered everything gluten-free, mentioning multiple times that it was GF. The restaurant was pretty empty, so it's not like they were rushing our order. The waiter brought out egg noodles and kept saying they were gluten-free. We asked for rice noodles 3 times before he finally brought out the right noodles, because the first 2 plates weren't GF. My friends took a few bites before we found out because the server assured us they were fine and asked the cook. As we spoke to a manager, he told us that he looked on our receipt and saw that the rice we ordered wasn't GF because the server didn't care to change how he rang it up and it was cooked normally. We all went to the bathroom and threw up, in tears. We're so sick and will be for weeks. They told us they would pay for our medical care but my friend called and they haven't responded.

We can see where this place gets busy quick we were first in for lunch. Waitress was amazing, and we let the manager know at the end how great she was. Food is amazing! Once you eat here, all the frozen junk and “fast food”, will be a second thought. Roomy, clean, lemonade was even excellent! Before ordering please note: If you oder below $70 don’t expect much AT ALL. Food was cold (my husband picked up on time), sauces were missing, half the order was wrong or not in the bag at all (still got charged for it) and lastly no flavor to the food. And this happened now for the 3rd time if we don’t order above the $70 mark. So if you want a nice dinner to go for you and maybe one other person, PLEASE MAKE SURE TOU EAT AT THE RESTAURANT because pick up orders will be a BIG disappointment (if you don’t spend over $70) Not sure what happened over the years but it’s really disappointing since this was our favorite restaurant.

We ordered our food to go as we sat at the bar and had a few drinks. Once back with our food we were unfortunately very disappointed. Food was mediocre at best. Portion size was not comparable to the price whatsoever and in fact it was almost as if they had ripped us off. One of our entree’s was missing half of the ingredients. After enjoying a great meal on the evening of 7/23/18, we forgot to grab the leftover sack from our table when we left. After realizing this about 20 minutes later during the drive home, I turned the car around and called the restaurant to see if the leftovers had been thrown away. As I expected, they had already cleared the table and thrown the leftover sack away. The manager not only apologized but insisted on preparing 2 new dishes for me. I was completely overjoyed as I didn’t expect that at all (after all, it was my fault for forgetting them in the first place)! I can’t recall ever experiencing that level of customer service at a restaurant in the past. I want to thank the manager and the wonderful staff at PF Chang’s for going above and beyond my expectations and making our dining experience one of the best I’ve ever had! Not only is the food delicious, the wait staff and management are top notch as well!

While it is a bit pricey, it's about what I expect for the area. Food came out hot and timely. Overall, it was tasty, but I feel like the fried rice could use some work. It had a sweet flavor that seemed weird to me. Not bad, just not to my liking. Pork steamed dumplings are really good, as well as the crispy honey chicken. Our server, Sean, was the perfect balance of being attentive but not overly so. Job well done on his part. My friend loved his Mongolian Beef.

My girlfriend and I wanted to have a nice dinner so we went here only to have them seat us in a corner and forget about us. It took the manager 30 minutes to realize that nobody even came to ask what we wanted to drink. We were not provided silverware, napkins, or even sit sauce. When we finally got our food it was cold AND overcooked. The manager only gave us a free appetizer.. After having an increasingly horrible experience and nobody owning up to it, that will be our first and last time at the restaurant.

Just visited P.F. Chang's in West Des Moines for the first time. The atmosphere was great and unlike any Chinese restaurant I've seen. We were seated and waited for about 10 minutes for a server before my mom asked a server nearby if ours was coming. There must have been an error in seating, but he was very apologetic and said that he would take care of us. The food was amazing and extremely reasonably priced. I would recommend the Wall of Chocolate for dessert! At the end of our meal, our sever brought our check and gift cards for our wait, it was so thoughtful and I applaud them for their amazing customer service. We'll absolutely visit again soon and make sure to request Cedrick(spelling?) for our server!!

I ordered sesame chicken and crab rolls at 1:30 (not during busy time)and I am extremely dissatisfied. I asked for NO ONIONS( due to allergy) and got them anyway. I also asked for chopsticks and sauce on the side and got nothing. Total waste of $38.00

Great place to eat if you have food allergies. They have one person handle your food and will make you a wonderful meal that you will love. This is more expensive then most restaurants, but food is worth it. Portions are large enough for 2 meals or to share. Also, you can make reservations anytime.

The restaurant has really gone down hill, it used to be our celebration place but now it is dirty, overpriced, and loud (multiple tables with kids playing videos at full volume). I ordered my favorite tea, white tangerine, only to be told they were "moving away" from teas and the only hot tea they had was green. Very sad, this used to be may favorite restaurant.

We went in for our anniversary dinner last night 12-1-18 and we arrived around 6:15 and gave our name for 2 people. The hostess’s indicated in would be between 25-30 minute wait and suggested we eat at the bar I said we can wait but will go to bar for an appetizer and we still wanted a table. 35 minutes go by and we are still waiting so we ask what the time will be when the table is ready and the hostess says we do not know now people aren’t leaving they are staying longer than 2 hours. So we wait another 30 min and then over hear the hostess tell another guest that just arrived it will only be 15 minutes. We go up and say we have been waiting over an hour and they finally sit us. We waited another 10 minutes before anyone came over and greeted us or took our drink order. We ordered and a different person brought us the wrong food and didn’t even bring us half of it and the guy said I’ll see what I can do. The waitress said it wasn’t her fault since the white rice wasn’t made and asked if we still wanted the white rice and fried rice and we said we did and she said well it’s going to be another 15 minute wait on it. We waited. Why no one told us this when they brought us our food we have no idea. They said nothing we had to mention it. We had to waive our waitress down several times because not one server asked us everything ok? How is everything? Or do you need anything else? They just put the stuff down and walk away. I realize it’s busy but be more realistic with customers on wait time Etc. what a horrible experience for my anniversary. I will never go back unless it’s take out.

Our drinks were never empty, he made zero mistakes (we had a few different requests), and went out of his way to accommodate our picky toddler. The California roll sushi with seared Ahi tuna (I don't remember the name of it on the menu) was delicious, and P.F. Chang's has, by far, the best hot and sour soup I've ever had!! Thanks Kent for a great job!! We've been to various locations in multiple states. This was definitely our best experience. We will be back!!

P.F. Chang's is a great place to go. I say that everyone should at least try something from their once in their life time. I expecially recommend the chicken lettuce wraps. They are awesome and delicious. There is also other great thing their too! Also if you have a peanut allergy than you are ok because most of their thing are actually not made form peanuts, which is very good for our family because my baby brother has a peanut allergy. When we told our waitress that he had that she was very caution about it and even gave us a list of all the non-peanut meals. That was very helpful and nice of her to do that for our family. I recommend this restaurant to any of you people who love great service, tasteful food, and great drink too!! I rate this 100 stars out of 5! This is a lovely place. Now after reading this you should want to have this wonderful food and drinks in your mouth!!

Took the wife here for a late lunch on her birthday. Since we have been to China this is a close second. No MSG or Gluten in the foods. For $55 excluding tip we purchased the changs for 2 and a side of chicken lemongrass dumplings. The choices we had were Mahi Mahi, Kung Pao Chicken, and a chicken lettuce wrap. Then the dessert. We were very surprised at the great quality of food and service. Definitely will eat there again! Thanks for reading.

Just an FYI, you may sit next to or around dirty seats if eating a late lunch early dinner and if you point it out you will find out if they have no wine glasses on the table it is a hint the table is not ready for guests. Before my waitress mentioned this hint to me when I wanted to be nice and point out the dirty seats in my view I witnessed a person of the management staff trying to sit a family with 2 young kids here. Everyone needs to be on the same page as dirty seats were present and in view for my 1 + hours for an early dinner. Like the hint but dirty seats that long is not acceptable. Lettuce wraps were amazing as usual. The drinks were good as well. We were up at the bar so we were able to order right away. Got our lettuce right away. The cream cheese wontons were barely filled however. I like a lot of filling in mine.... especially for that price. Also the noodles were dry and lacked sauce. Went for dinner on a whim last night and was not disappointed. Everything from start to finish was phenomenal. Our waitress, Apryl, was so attentive and helpful. First time there and we will definitely be back. Even spoke to the manager, James, and he was polite even asking what we had for dinner. We had the spring rolls, the lettuce wraps, shrimp with lobster sauce, walnut shrimp, and some sort of banana dessert. Prices are a little high but overall it was totally worth it!

Made reservations online for my girl friends and my 2nd year Anniversary. Upon arrival we were seated immediately, this was my first time to P.F. Chang’s, the atmosphere was very welcoming. What really made the night was the great service from our waiter and the absolutely fantastic food. Drinks, appetizers, and our entrees came out in a timely manner. The staff also made a kind jester to us on account if it being our Anniversary. Definitely deserving of the 5 stars.

In the mood for over priced, mediocre Chinese food? Then you will love PF Chang's! You can find better food at reasonable places at a number of other locations. The only reason to come here is for the atmosphere and it's proximity to the Jordan Creek Mall and movie theater. That said, I would suggest Bravo next door or even Cheesecake Factory for a good date night. Both of which match the atmosphere but offer superior food.

I ordered the spicy tuna roll sushi plate as an appetizer, and when it came out I was rather shocked to see that the tuna is chopped, like what you would find in canned tuna. The flavor wasn't bad, but I feel a place as pricey and 'high profile' as P.F. Chang's should have a clue and know that sushi is made with whole, raw, high grade tuna. When asked, the server told me that the tuna "kinda comes like that, so we just chop it up." This makes me question the quality of the tuna they're choosing to purchase.

Service was excellent. Food was lukewarm at best. Brown rice was dry, kind of lumpy too, and not hot either. Plates were cold therefore food cooled off very quickly. Portions are a bit skimpy for price point, can't really share much. (Thought we would get soup, salad, or fortune cookie). Didn't voice my concerns to waiter cause in bit of hurry and thought about the dining experience later. Haven't eaten there in quite sometime but felt it wasn't as good as I remember. First time there. Always wondered what the big deal was about this place. It was nice! Very clean, well decorated & presentation from start to finish was great. Food options were good but everything on their menu was different than what you would normally order somewhere else. Their general chicken & orange were named something completely different so it was a little confusing. I could see how a new customer may have hesitations about eating there when they don't know what things are. My meal was excellent, good-sized lunch portions & the price was very good as well.
