I came here for lunch for the first time and did not have any cash on me. The lady was incredibly rude when I proceeded to tell her I just had my debit card and she said “how do you not have any cash on you” in a very rude tone. Usually all bars take debit cards as people start tabs.

This place is GREAT....I happened to stop in after the fair ended on my way exploring the DesMoines area....the name suits me & I am so glad I went in asking about food. I got a steak cooked just 4 me & had a nice red beer & their mugs are perfectly light, surprisingly, as in the plastic is.. The bathrooms are spacious, clean & bright with proper soap dispenser as well as a hand dryer & also its smart to have sensor on/off switches. Very impressed with it all! I will be back soon so I cam check up on the people i bonded with. Extremely friendly folks!

I’ve worked @ Misfits Pub and Grub for about a month! The food is amazing, the prices are great, and it just has a home away from home feel! I love being there, and seeing and talking to everyone! It’s a great place to come alone, or a great place to come with your friends... definitely would recommend anyone of any age 21 and older of course because we are all family @ Misfits!
