The bowl of mussels, was delicious. The duck entre was delectable. The virgin mojito however, is why there is only 4 stars. Being mocked for asking for blue agave to make the drink taste better is not going to improve ratings... The french pressed coffee made up for the embarassment... 4 of 5 stars... because of one person's attitude

Food was on point! Beautiful presentation mirrored with outstanding taste. Braised pork gnocchi was so amazing that I could have had it for my meal! Scallops perfectly cooked (extremely hard to do). I highly recommend the brown butter panda cotta with apple and granola. Melt in your mouth deliciousness! The ambiance, the service are both incredible but only second to the food. Chef Andy and his crew are masters of their talents resulting in a celebration for your taste buds. It’s an experience one must not miss.

Classy place, awesome food, fun atmosphere. Chef Andy and Carrie can cook for me any time, especially when it comes to pork. Chef Andy pork dishes are spot on, every time. Never had a bad meal. This is our go to place for New Years Eve as well as Course Wine or Beer dinners.

The limited menu for valentines day was delicious. The cooks are very creative with their choices, and I love seeing what they come up with. The staff was very friendly as well. As it is on the pricey side, we can only come for special occasions, but it is worth it in the end.

Delicious. I could literally cut my steak with a butter knife. They were very accommodating with food sensitivities. My only complaint was the music was WAY too loud. At the back of the restaurant I could hardly talk to the person next to me without yelling.

We ordered the mussels, rabbit, and duck and everything was delicious! The mussels sauce was super flavorful and the sourdough bread was soft and chewy, perfect for dipping. But seriously I could drink that sauce. The duck was cooked perfectly, crispy skin and medium rare inside. My coworker got the rabbit, which we liked better than the duck but he wasn't too keen on sharing given it was so tasty. Ended with the smoke and rhubarb dessert, first time having smoked ice cream and still in the fence but fun to try

Cobble Hill Restaurant is the best dining experience in the Cedar Rapids area. The staff offers gracious and warm hospitality as they greet you at the door. There is a lovely "living room" feel as you first enter the Restaurant where you can enjoy a mixed drink prepared by well trained mixologists. Some of the most interesting drinks ever such as the Corn Jack--a seasonal drink when the Iowa sweet corn is at the height of readiness. The main course has a variety of options, usually beef, pork, fish or vegetarian options. The service staff are all very professional, attentive, friendly and helpful.

Came here with my boyfriend for the first time, and we had a truly lovely experience. It wasn't overcrowded, the ambiance was nice, our waitress was perfect, and the food was delicious! It really is a great place to go for a special date night.

If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would. They take absolutely every step, through service as well as food, to make sure that you have the best dining experience possible. Our cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and dessert were all amazing. In particular, the duck breast entree I ordered was one of the most rich and flavorful dishes I have ever had. Our server was kind and helpful without being intrusive. The atmosphere was also perfect- Busy on a Friday night, yet still welcoming and relaxing. Look no further if you want the best possible dining experience in the Cedar Rapids area! We will definitely be returning soon.

Excellent food and world class cocktails. Nearly everything on the menu is something that I would normally be cautious about ordering in this area, but the duck, lamb, and fresh oysters were as good as I've had anywhere in the country. Our party also had several cocktails that were well constructed and unique, and we appreciated having NA drink options that were actually good, not just Coke or Sprite from a bar gun. It's not cheap, but for the quality of what you get it is well worth it. Easily one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Cedar Rapids.

Let me start out by saying my flat iron steak tasted great and the service was incredible. But the ravioli wasn’t so good and I wasn’t that crazy about the dessert. But the worse thing about Cobble Hill is the pricing. To me it’s over priced for what you get. Especially since the portions are so small. A great place to go if you are dieting because you will leave feeling hungry even if you eat dessert. Some people said this place was romantic. It isn’t. It’s nice but it is open seating. I can not recommend this place. I doubt if I will ever go back. There’s something missing in the experience for the price you pay.

Best food in Cedar rapids by far. Great coffee and the chicken was delicious. The steak was slightly on the colder side but not to bad. The sorbet had a nice texture. The macaron was just the way it should be, crunchy on the outside and the buttercream wasn't to sweet and the flavor(Sherry) was perfect. The service was quick and very friendly. All around great place. Nice place for a date or special occasion. Bit pricey but overall worth it.

If you want fine dining in Cedar Rapids, lets be honest, the choices are rather limited. This is a great place to go, I might call it the best (and my favorite) restaurant in the metro areas (I come here whenever I can). The atmosphere is warm and feels very spacious. The food is fantastic, from the ingredients to the presentation, and I've never had anything less than exquisite service here. The drink menu is well thought out with a combination of international and local tastes alike. Cobble Hill aims to please, and their dart lands right on the bullseye.

A unique place for gathering. Staff is different in a good way. The way they present themselves alone when they serve you sets them apart from other places. They have a diverse menu and great wine selection. One of few places with good oysters.

Ate at the bar as on a business trip. Bartender knowledgable, efficient and a good host. Food sort of nouvelle cuisine, not huge portions but elegantly presented. In fact, I was glad not to get huge portions. Absolutely delicious. Not too many items, but a good selection for carnivores to vegetarians.

WOW. The DRINKS to DESERTS ARE AS GOOD AS ANYTHING WE FOUND IN PHILLY AND NYC. We've lived in Iowa City for 2 years and this is THE BEST restaurant in - at least - Eastern Iowa. Service is impeccable and the food is incredible. My sister, her husband, and my wife are total foodies and raved about this place for weeks before me - a fast food person - even went. When it's so good that it cuts through my bland taste buds that's saying something. Just go look at the menu and see for yourself. It's expensive as it should be. It's that worth it if you want excellent food and drinks.

A true world class gem. I'm from Dallas and I have very high expectations for my food and cocktails. I came to cedar rapids with lowered expectations. Cobble Hill has exceeded my expectations by far. The food was great. The cocktails are exquisite. They are the perfect balance. Not overly sweet and not too alcohol forward. If you're a negroni or Manhattan drinker, this is the place.

The ambience was cool and quirky (think mismatched plates, chalkboard wall pig drawing) while still feeling upscale. Our waiter was attentive even as we were the indecisive table that required three check ins before we were ready to order drinks. When he was gone for awhile, a woman from the bar stepped in, checked on us, and handled our drinks. So in other words, the service was top-notch.

Lovely eclectic atmosphere. A bit noisy, but very European look and feel. Great service! The French onion soup is the best I've had. It is pureed and very creamy, served with a bit of flair in a small pitcher, poured at the table. Our group of eight were all quite pleased with their entrees and the service. A great restaurant! Amazing Food. Amazing Service. Environment is nice. but I know I'm being picky when I say this, the lighting wasn't awesome. Different color temperatures, and a couple of bulbs missing. But I'm reaching right now. Overall, it's a high quality place to eat when you want to celebrate life, a birthday, or have an excuse for a fancy cocktail. They have truly helped elevate the restaurant game in CR.

It's very pricey, but very good and the staff is always excellent. Every time I go there, I think "Why am I paying this much for this little food? I could fill half a shopping cart and eat alright for a week with this much money. I'm not coming back again". Then I go back again and don't regret it. Google tells me it's been three weeks since I've been here, I think it's almost time for another visit.
