My goodness!! I ordered chicken strips with fries and a salad, a soda and dessert for only $8.95!!! The chicken strips were sooo big I. Ould only eat 2! The staff were all very nice and it was the cleanest restaurant I've ever eaten at!!

Absolutely fabulous food, awesome staff, super reasonable prices, and huge helpings of food! Stop there EVERYTIME we are in Maquoketa! They take great care of my Grandpa Hayward who goes at least once a day for his coffee! 6 Stars for that reason alone!! If you've never been there, GO! You will NOT regret it!

Eat there 2-3 times a week. Good food, large portions, pleasant personnel. Staff care about the customer and willing to go the extra mile. Best ribs in town at an believable price Would recommend to anyone. Gaurantee not to leave hungry.

You can eat really a lot in just 8 dollars here. Staff was kind and really helpful. Good service. Good food. The pan cake was good. I had the Choco chip pancake. Their omelets are pretty good. They serve in good quantities. Do keep that in mind before ordering!

Grr.. disappointed.. even more by the super awful service, than the half-cold, on-the-way-to-spoiltown tasting food. If our waitress spent even half the time and effort into her "service" job as she did watching Dr. Phill, she would have been fabulous in comparison to the food. I used to be a waitress, I was good, made fabulous tips. I know the ins and outs, do's and don'ts of the job.. maybe I'm judgy because of that..maybe ppl like her got me fired before.. maybe all the don'ts I observed (especially sheer laziness) just peeve me so much..any which way, I had to calm down a couple of weeks to be as kind as I have been. Had I been her boss in there incognito, she'd have been fired 5 min after my arrival and observation and I would have finished her shifts out. Don't bother with this place, try in Dewitt.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. We were greated as soon as we stepped foot in the door and they made us feel welcome! Stopped here before seeing Maquoketa Caves. Friendly service and delicious food with large portions and very reasonable prices. The House salad dressing was wonderful! Owner was friendly and greeted all the guests. Server was attentive and friendly.

Prices great. Food great. Staff great! Huge plate of ribs that came with potatoes, shrimp, salad and dessert for 10.45! Turkey club was biggest I've ever seen and came with soup and not much extra to add cottage cheese! All for under 25 bucks (with 2 drinks)!

Ordered the roast beef Philly, which was huge! and delicious, and the house chicken strips which came with 5 of the biggest chicken strips I've ever seen for only $9! Definitely recommend to anyone.

i give this restaurant 2 stars only becouse the waitress was nice and friendly and the place was very clean and friendly but the food was very bad there steak looked like cheap steak and tasted like cheap steak i ordered the whole catfish smelled spoiled and tasted real bad corn was dry and over done and what can i say about the mashed potatoes and gravy just bad they did try to made it right but i would never eat there again
