It's your average buffet. They do have sushi and above average ice cream. However, you pay more for those things. Worth it if you are looking for a broader range.

Extremely clean place. I've tried so many Asian buffets and this one is by far the best so far. Lots of food options and it's really good. If you have someone with you who doesn't like Asian food that's no problem here. They have food from seafood to Asian food to pizza and chicken to fruit and dessert. They have a small habachi grill and sushi options. Everyone is nice and the service is fast.*you need to grab your own food, but they get you refills like no tomorrow.*

They do offer crab legs on Sunday's but they only bring a few at a time so one or two people can literally take the entire pan. Not cool Asian Buffet!!

Found a thick black hair in my chicken. Confronted the workers about it and got told that "customers can get their hair in their food all the time." When I dont have black hair and neither does my friend who was with me. They said all they could do was change the chicken *or* give us 10% off of our $22 bill. Ridiculous.

Asian Buffet has delicious hot and sour soup. The buffet tables are well kept. Hot food hot and cold food cold. The server told us to let them know if we needed some dish replenished on the line. Many Chinese items such as sweet and sour chicken , chicken and broccoli, pork ,beef, seafood as well. Very good baked seafood. Lots of lobster in that. We found traditional appetizers such as egg roll and crab Rangoon. Asian Buffet has salads and fruits. Small assortment of deserts,but they do have hand dipped ice cream! Menu changes so we plan to visit again.

On the weekends you get charged for their ALL YOU CAN EAT CRAB LEGS, but good luck getting any. They bring them out every 15-20 min and gone in 1 minute. Other than that issue.. the food is great. You have choices between the buffet, the grill or sushi bar.

The building is old and air vents dirty. The air is so moist that it breeds mold which you can smell. Food too salty and poor ingredients. Tough meat, poorly cooked. Not worth visiting any more. Go down the street to the other Chinese restaurant.

Used to eat here twice a week until today... was cheap easy and quick. If you ever needed them to make something they would because I take a late lunch usually. Well today water from the ceiling dropped into my food. Didn’t make a big scene or say anything just asked to be moved and got a different plate. At this point kind of lost my appetite for the situation. So I got up to leave and just asked for a slight discount because I mean it ruined my meal. Nope. So won’t go back there anymore especially in the rain.

It is winter and the building was very cold inside. The food was edible but I would not like to go back. The lo main noodles were just spaghetti noodles and soy sauce. My stomach started hurting just an hour after leaving. Would not recommend.

A typical reasonably priced Chinese buffet restaurant. The hibachi and shrimp items should get a special mention along with the sweet and sour soup compared to the similar type of other buffet restaurants. The beef looked fresh in the hibachi section. The restaurant also got BBQ pork ribs which is not common. Overall a good place to eat. Price was around $24 for two person including tax in dinner.

Came on Sunday afternoon. They have an average selection of food, but were missing some staples (I.e. beef and broccoli, salmon, etc). The food they had was blander than expected. The restaurant only had about four tables, and the staff still struggled to keep items replenished on the buffet. The staff were friendly and attentive. This buffet was overall decent.

I have been here a few times now and usually don't have an issue, but this last time I went I found a hair in my food! The good they removed the entire pan of food that the hair was found in once we told them that was necessary... the bad, they didn't comp the meal. I felt like if I found hair in my food on a buffet that you might want to give me my money back as I'm not eating anymore of your food, but they gave us 20% off. Well, needless to say, but being said anyways I doubt I'll return to this restaurant. * I know my meals don't need to be compt for that, but I feel they should have done a bit more than just 20% off and no apology. Most my review are good, so I feel a bit bad for a poor review of a place.

I live in Cedar Rapids. I have tried many chinese restaurants there, and I haven't found one that has decent food. I visit Osky frequently, and we have to go to the Asian Buffet once, if not twice. They're food is always fresh and hot, any time of day. If it's not quite as fresh as it should be you being it to their attention, and they replace it in about 5minutes. The staff is very courteous and attractive. It's now the only place, that I eat Chinese food!

You can dine in, carrying out or delivery. I use the delivery option a lot. It's a very nice atmosphere and very cozy. Im actually going to order delivery tonight. They have stuff like Mongolian beef, almond chicken, orange chicken beef and mushrooms. They have a buffet, all you can eat. So if you like Asian food, I suggest that you visit Asian Buffet. You won't be disappointed.

Food varies widely in quality unless delivered- Which is the best route to go here, unless you just want to stuff your face for an hour and a half. Service is alright, if you go in with the understanding that most of the staff that you'll interact with don't fluently speak English, and may have to have some things repeated. As well as the English tongue tending to butcher their terms, phrases, etc. on the menus and whatnot.

For the second time in a row, I've found a hair in my food/on my plate. Last time they claimed that the hair was me or my sisters (both blonde) when the hair was thick and black. They gave me $1.00 off of my $20 order and didn't change the chicken. After going back again hoping something had changed, I found a hair on my bowl. Also witnessed one waitress flipping her hair around all of the food, and another eating food straight out of the pans with her bare hands. Disgusting.

This is slightly above average very-standard Asian food, with a few nice touches. Their sushi was actually good quality for buffet sushi, and they had small egg custard puffs that were divine. This is an excellent buffet. They have close to 10 different types of sushi, a large salad bar area, 3 or 4 steam tables with hot food plus a cold table with desserts. Additionally, they also offer a hibachi grill. It's a 45 minute drive from my house but this is my preferred buffet as there is a large variety of offerings always available. It's easily accessible from I-29, I-35 or Highway 269 off Barry Road. I have recommended this place to several friends who also say it's worth the drive. I wholeheartedly recommend this buffet!

Maybe I've been spoiled by buffets in the past but my experience here left me with over and undercooked meats and noodles. The sushi selection was basically non existent however my expectations for that at a buffet aren't high to begin with. I'll give it two stars for being clean at least.

Staff was kind and generous. The food was amazing. Ever fried item tasted like it should, you can tell they keep their fryer oil clean. Hibachi options were simple but fresh. Desserts were amazing. Great prices, especially before 4pm. Best Asian buffet I have ever found! Even our picky youngest was happy to try lots of new things. Excited to return!

This is a very good buffet. Lots of fried food and carbohydrates. Sushi is OK as well. Nobody speaks English though. Trying to order or communicate at the hibachi grill is not possible Unless you are in a native mandarin speaker.

This was less than most Asian buffets I've been to. Sub-standard meats and selections of foods, many of which aren't properly labeled. There's a sushi bar, but the sushi isn't labeled, so I had a hard time figuring out what was what. And the staff seem to only care about you when you first come in.

I have been here several times now for lunch and it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant appears very clean and tidy. I have always had excellent service. Took forever to get refills service was terrible nobody was friendly until it was time to pay the bill and give tips I also noticed and asked what options they had for white meat and there was only one which was upsetting cuz not Everyone likes dark meat you want more than one option when you like white meat also nothing vegetarian it was very slim pickings for a few of us I will say if you like crab legs and shrimp and stuff like that this is definitely a good place to go and the only other good thing is they were accommodating towards the fact that my six-year-old did not eat anything besides fortune cookies so they took him off the bill that was appreciated I saw a reviews that it was super clean super friendly I just I didn't see any of that

Used to go to Hong Buffet off Barry rd. After this placed opened I haven't gone back. They are usually busy so food stays warm. They also offer crab legs and from legs some nights. Also seen crawdads if you're into those as well. They have the standard Chinese food at the buffet along with some American food everything is good even the Sushi bar is always fresh. I have yet to try the Mongolian Grill here because I'm always so full from the buffet and sushi haha.

One of the worst buffets I have ever seen. Dry old flavorless unappetizing food with a scant selection of entrees and poor cuisine quality. As far as Asian American food in Oskaloosa, you're better off going to HyVee only a few blocks away. However, that's like picking between letting a dog bite your hand or your foot, either way, it bites.

They have a great selection of fresh sushi, a hibachi grill, and several different ice cream flavors, all on top of the normal items you would fine at a competing chinese buffet. For all that variety and quality, you are definitely getting a good deal.

Asian buffet has fallen down hill since the day it opened here. My husband & I decided to give it a second chance today. That is a mistake I will not make twice. When you walk in the first thing you notice is how dark in there it is. The only light source being from the buffet table lamps. The staff is is not very pleasent & very short with you. The hostess pretends not to speak English until it comes time to pay the bill. While the main area is very clean the food is lacking. It is dry & bland, sometimes even hours old. When you request food to be made new you waste 20 to 30 minutes waiting for them to bring out the fresh food.
