REVIEWS OF Wasabi IN Indiana

The sushi is pretty good for Fargo. I have to say I'm spoiled rotten as I spent most my sushi years next to the bay in California. I will definitely visit Wasabi as it's the best in Fargo!

Elizabeth Eichholtz

I won't eat sushi anywhere else. Each time I have eaten elsewhere after trying wasabi, I am let down. If you want fresh sushi, try the lemon head. It's unbelievable.

Scott Targett

Amazing food

Brooke Palmer

Great food. Chicken lunch special for less than $10. Real food at a great price!

Judith Cooper

Long time customer. The food is good but the service is terrible. You may have to wait an hour for a chef and have to wait almost that long for drinks. The restrooms are very dirty. My last visit was my last.

Jessica Hammer

We waited for an hour before the chef even started on our food. The prices are too high in my opinion. And the portions are small. The meat and rice were good, that's why I'm giving it 2 stars. Cost us, 2 adults and 4 kids (2 of whom shared an order, $80. More than likely we won't be back.

Alora Westra

Not quite as impressed as usual . I love the spicy crab salad, usually a meal for me. But served on a small saucer this time and not in the nice deep Asian bowl. Just skimpy. Edamame was great, but miss the small teapots for hot tea. The Asian ambiance missing by just giving us a cup of hot tea. Just dissppointed

Nicole C.

I ordered a vegetarian sushi and they served me one with fish in it! If I were allergic to fish, I could have died. The manager was notified of the server's error and did not offer to give us the vegetarian sushi. Instead, they took $2 off of the sushi with the fish that they had served us. I don't eat seafood so this was very upsetting. The servers need to know their menu items better. Don't go here if you have food allergies!

Steven Dodds

Service and food are excellent.

Pathetic service. 20 minutes to sit down. 10 minutes to get our drink orders taken. Waitress was incredibly rude when we asked simple questions. We were treated like we were invisible. Never got refills until we got up and went to go get a waitress because they wouldn't even look at us. Then try brought us the wrong drink after I clearly said what I had. They were only friendly when it was time to pay the bill. Easy to say that was my last trip I'll be taking there.

Per Hancock County Health Department: Feb. 11 2019. Horrible horrible service. Not only did my debit card get compromised after using it at this location.. asking for extra soy sauce for my $27 in sushi was "too many" per the owner. Never going back to this place. If you do, take cash!

Darryl Cooper

Happy Birthday to you George Lynn have a good one

Brianna Todd

I've been here twice and the first time was much better. The lobster and filet was great... Steak was like butter. But the regular steak hibachi dinner wasn't nearly as good of quality steak and was very chewy. So I'd go for anything but steak hibachi unless this was simply a fluke.

Brian Conboy

Walking ten minutes after opening it seemed they did not finish cleaning from the night before. Not the case though, the place is just dirty. The menu was sticky and grimy with a hair and an eyelash along with dirt under the plastic. The leather borders of the menus were worn through and cracked. All of this predicts the cleanliness or lack you don’t get to see. Mackerel is part of 4 recipes, but they don’t serve it because it doesn’t sell. If that’s the case, then update the menu. Ordered Sashimi with the Japanese names and the waitress had no idea. Ordered three items with the first being the seafood sunomono. One bite and the fish was clearly spoilt. Spit it in the napkin, paid the bill and walked out with not another bite. Gross little place.

My new husband & I wanted to go out & celebrate our 1st dinner out as newly weds & we decided to splurge h get Hibachi! We were very disappointed! The food was good, but the service was bad. The server & the chef acted like they didn't want to be there. The chef didn't do any tricks & the only time he interacted with us was to ask how we wanted our steaks cooked. Very disappointing. We won't be going back to that one. One of the main reasons you go to a Hibachi Grill is for the experience of the chef throwing the eggs in his hat, doing tricks & fires on the grill. Wish we would have had the other chef he seemed really fun. The people that were seated with us felt the same way & even tried to express their disappointment but weren't understood as no one there could speak English. We will for sure be making the drive to either fujiyama's or Benihana's.

If i could give 0 stars, I would. I have a medical alert service dog. I've rarely had an issue with restaurants and most places are accommodating and don't make me feel weird or singled out or different and even bring a water bowl without me asking. Just a regular customer ordering food, with my dog laying down under the table where you can't even tell he's there. Not this place. Me and hubby walk in and immediately the hostess asks, "What's wrong with your dog?" Ummmm, he's in a vest? In big bold lettering, SERVICE DOG? She just kept staring and then finally asked how many people we had and what table we wanted. We sit down and she brings the lunch menu and them takes it away a few minutes later, leaving us with the expensive dinner menu. And then she comes back in and tells us to move to the other side of the room because of my dog. It was rude, but we moved anyways. The waitress comes by and tells us "it's better we moved because of my dog. People will be walking and they'll see him and he needs to stay hidden under the table so he's not in the way...because it's better." I was heartbroken and immediately pissed off. Not only was it a Tuesday at 6 pm, there was no one in the restaurant besides us. I'm used to the stares and the questions and comments, but never have I been moved and hidden away because of my dog...because people will see him. The meals are around $15. I didn't even order a drink before deciding I would not eat there. The staff is rude and condescending, and I will never step foot in there ever again.

Food is good here. Quality seems to have gone down slightly in recent years (steaks seem to be not quite as good of a cut as previously). They used to give each person a couple of small shrimps as a complement to their meal, but they stopped doing that a couple of years ago. I would recommend NOT coming here on a Saturday night. We are here right now and have been waiting almost 2 hours at our hibachi table. They slowly served the drinks, then the soup, then the salad. Now we are done with all that and are just waiting on a chef to be available. We got here at 6:50, waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Now it's 8:35 and we are still waiting on chef. Again, would not advise Saturdays. Hopefully food will be good. The seasonings also seem to vary depending on which chef, etc. Sometimes rice is very bland, other times pretty tasty.

Janelle Mayer

I, personally, love this place, because it has really good quality sushi. I've tried the Hibachi, which is also very good, but the sushi is what I always come back for. The sushi area always features chef specials for that day, and the ones I have tried have been great. It is a bit pricey for the amount of sushi you get, but the quality and tastiness is very high. The main criticism I have is their friendliness. Half the time when I go, I get a server who does not really smile, act welcoming, or seems glad that you are there. They treat you in a very unemotional fashion and give only the basic services expected in a server. This lack of good customer service could easily earn them 3/5 stars but the food is just too good!

Alec Lockett

Awesome place!

Friendly staff

Went there hoping for a meal, sign said open, door was unlocked. But there was no one there. We left, so did some people who were in front of us.

Richard Jones

The food is excellent

Sue Baxter

This is the only sushi place I know of in Greenfield, IN and I sure wish there was another. The quality of the food has went down hill bad. The service sucks and they are all rude, even the owner! I will NOT come here again! I'll make the drive elsewhere!

Susan Strong

Service was awful and food just so so. Very bland!

Michael Lewis

Benton Mullins

We went there for a little Christmas dinner and the service and food was great. The cook was professional and very entertaining. The visit took a turn for the worst when we got our bill and they put a 15% inculded tip. The owner told me that after six people they inculded a tip automatically. There were only five of us including a child whom we didn't order anything for just shared our food. There were four other people at the table and they charged them as well. Three separate groups charged together as one so they could force a tip. I love this restaurant and now I will never go back.

Good food but not show-stopping. Kind of an odd atmosphere, there is an odd smell I couldn't quite put my finger on. The chef we had didn't really have much personality to him, didn't really have tricks up his sleeves like the others did. Just seemed like he wanted to go home. The waitresses were nice, maybe a little forgetful.

Chad Roots

Food was good and chefs were nice. Waitresses were rude and disrespectful. Place is often dirty and the cooling (HVAC) is always in adequate. One sink in the restroom was inoperable. If it weren't for the chefs on the hibachi, I would never return.

Angela Avers

Really terrific, affordable Japanese grill

Timothy Parsons

Horrible is the only way to put it! The chef was great but the staff, including the GM or owner (not sure what she is) just ruined what could have been a great time. And, the food was just so so but as I stated the chef tried. Never will return.

Jerry Johnson

Nice place to eat. Very amazing chef. Only problem restroom had a a mold smell.

Edwin Jones

I love the sushi bar tucked away behind all of the action in the Teppan room, small friendly staff, professional, excellent quality food...laid back appeal!

Piercat

Small portions for the price compared to other Japanese Steakhouses, but food tasted good. Hostess and server were rude like we were inconveniencing them by coming into the restaurant an hour before they closed. Grill was not clean when we were seated. Chef did a wonderful job.

Aaron Jackson

Very good service.

TJ Lightle

Ashli Elizabeth

VERY slow service. We were the first ones at our table and they made us wait nearly an hour before the table started filling up, and then they took THE OTHER PEOPLE'S orders and finally served everybody together. Food was alright. They claimed to serve a TON of rice with their food, but it was a modest amount. Facilities were mildly dirty. Again, took forever to get our bill and we finally just paid in cash and left before the lady came back. Too slow and understaffed. We won't be coming back.

Ashley Wilson

Just ate here for the first time tonight. We weren’t impressed and won’t go back. We tried it because it’s a few minutes from our house but we will drive to noblesville for Koto anytime we want hibachi. The portions are not worth the money. Koto gives you larger meat portions and your meal includes 2 shrimp and lo mein noodles as well for the same price. Rice is way better at koto too. They gave us like 6 pieces of chicken and the same with steak and hardly any vegetables. The soup was half full and salad dressing wasn’t good. Disappointed.

Fixit Mug

Fun and formal

Slow and bad service still got food though

Doug Johnson

We had the hibachi. Very good food and fun chef.

Tiffany Shanks

I truely love this place great food but at times the people who serve you are rude.....

Amanda S

The sushi here is so good AND decently priced!

Mike R

Great place, definitely a small family owned restaurant. Service was good and friendly. The grill was pretty cool nothing over the top but the food was really good (steak and chicken hibachi). Would recommend going here for a solid dinner.

toxicyummy

Typically good food..tonight was a Monday and they only had one chef we were told. He did ok, for being a new chef. From the time we were seated until we left was 2 hrs. All In plan on waiting unless you only have 2 in your party.

Virginia Mitchell

LOVE this place!! Their food is wonderful! Besides a somewhat skiddish waiter, this place is a go to! Never had a bad experience and we've visited multiple times. Sake always good, sushi delicious. I'll continue to visit this establishment!

Kevin Walker

Love the sushi! And the service is always great!

Jordan Storch

Love it.

Jamie R. Stout

I always love eating here the staff is very friendly and helpful. The sushi is great and their hibachi is delicious. Their udon soups are wonderful too, and HUGE. I can never seem to finish them, there is just so much in them. I've seen the staff really go above and beyond for patrons here though and they're great people. So if you like good food and great service definitely give them a try.

Alisa Hindman

Employees were very rude and the waiting room smells like mold

Rickey Spencer

Very good cook, Entertaining, staff was very prompt for cooked Nicely taste was great! Will be going back!

Horrible customer service! The waiter kept forgetting my husband's beer. After 20 minutes the hostess noticed he didn't have a drink nor did anyone at our table have soup or salad. After being told, our waiter brought salads. We never did get soup. The kids meal doesnt come with soup or salad. It should for the price. The cook came out after a 1/2 hour or so. Food was good, not as good as Kabuto in Greenwood. There you get more vegetables like squash and zucchini. And the rice has corn mixed in with it. Kabuto is a little less expensive also. We will stick with out regular hibachi.

me and my fiance come here atleast twice a month ATLEAST and we always get hibachi and order sushi, deff have no complaints.

Austen Gray

They took my money that was left over from the check without asking. It was only $7, but I would've rather left it as a tip instead of being stolen from. Plus she doesn't even deserve the tip. It's ok. It use to better better (it was never great). The service is slow, the food is ok, and the portions are small. Go to Indy for a better sushi spot.

excellent food and entertainment

Jacob Myer

Awesome food at decent prices in an intimate atmosphere. The big sushi combination platters are a steal. Can not attest to the hibachi myself and I can rarely bring myself to give five stars.

Amanda Franklin

Awesome is all I can say you won't be disappointed

Brandon Fancher

Great food. Service kind of slow. Carryout also good.

COX

Reading some of the negative reviews posted before mine. Either the management fixed the issues or these customers are just inexperienced with this style of restaurant. The service was immediate, the food was amazing. And the portions were perfect for me. 6’1” 200lbs. And I finished my plate at least 10 minutes before everyone else! Kudos to Wasabi! The prices are also about 20% cheaper than Fujiyama located 20 minutes away in Indianapolis.

When paying by the roll, you expect a level of quality. This place's level is apparently below even that of a buffet. Overpriced. Faded/discolored fish. Unfriendly customer service. (handed me a menu while asking me if I'm ready to order just to start) I've been here twice in the past few months. Not going to waste my money giving them a third strike. I honestly feel like I could get better sushi in a grocery, and I watched this get made.

MIKE BECK

was very good. On vacation and needed a sushi fix.

Chandra Buck

Utterly disappointed. I was always pleased and impressed at the previous location, however it seems they forgot to pack some essentials when they made the move ( quality and customer service). We sat ourselves at the sushi bar and were greeted by the person making the rolls. There was no paper order sheet like the previous place. The server who brought our water did not greet us or bring napkins or soy sauce cups. We were asked 2x if we wanted miso soup to which we both replied ,"yes please" , when we got it ten minutes later it was barely warm. We got our app but no napkins or sauce bowls so I got up to find some napkins at the server station. We ordered nigiri and didn't get it. The menu is very small no dumplings, squid salad or yummy roll. Our server definitely wasn't with the program the cook seemed frustrated. Our debit card sat for quite a while when another server helped us out. Over 40 bucks for 2 rolls and an app, poor experience and left hungry. Wasabi is dead to me.

Gerilee Jenkins

Always great!

grama pete

We have eaten here many times and it was always great food. However, we brought an out of town guest here a couple weeks ago and the food was terrible. The scrambled eggs were so overcooked and scorched they were brown. The cook put the thick sauce that's used on the chicken, on the rice?? The vegetables were overcooked and the chicken was tough. The steak was fair. Very disappointing for the high prices. I hope it goes back to the quality we used to get.

Tom Bosley

Awesome food. Great service! Family oriented. Friendly with great attitude!

Ronald Cassell

The food was good, however, unlike previous visits this cook did not put on a show. He simply cooked with little to no interaction with the guests. We will not be back.

Not a huge fan of sushi but I like that Wasabi is like the Chipotle/Subway of sushi and you can pick and choose what you want in your bowl (as opposed to pre-rolled sushi. The staff was also extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

Kyle J

Delicious food here! I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. There wasn't anything we ordered in our group that wasn't really tasty. Smaller menu than some sushi places I've been elsewhere, but it's hard to get upset when everything on the menu is delicious! Will happily come back again next chance I get!

MC Always

New place, same issues. Its ashame they cant have their menu online. Try to download and it refuses to download. When I went there to eat, I experienced the same issues as before. Decent food, slow service, way too high of prices. However, with that being said. There aren't many better places in town.

Maria Hersch

Biggest mistake ever moving. The quality of their fish is low, the portion sizes all around are much smaller while of course the prices are raised, and menu options are now very limited. Service isn't much to speak of either. Wasabi used to be THE place to go in town. Now any of the all you can eat places are a better option. Very sad.

Peggy Davis

It was very clean and pleasant! The food was a delicious and very filling. Would recommend and go back and take my family.

Penny Keller

A great birthday dinner!

Denise Wicker

Happy mother's day lunch

Dave Bone

The food was good but the service was SO SLOW! Don't go if you are in a hurry or have a limited time for lunch as you will be there forever!

Rob Bradley

Hibachi food was well prepared and tasty and service was fine. Normally this would give them 4 stars, however, the place was filthy. The exit sign in the picture was at the front entrance! With the front of the house this soiled, what does the kitchen look like?

James Ritter

Came in here due to the fact that I love the one at 82nd street and have been a loyal customer there for years. But wanted an alternate so I could avoid castleton. Unfortunately the Castleton commute is well worth it in comparison to Greenfield. The service is terrible. Had to seat myself on the last visit. The wait staff doesn't seem to enjoy their job and rarely visits the table for refills and such. Sad to say but they need to either rethink their strategy at this location or just leave it up to Castleton. Sorry.

Erin Wigger

Never got to eat here. It smelled amazing from outside but we came in & no hostess came to see us. We saw greasy/dusty stalagtights hanging off of ceiling tiles and the front lamp above the register. Oof!! If you cant clean dinning area & entrance, what is the kitchen like? We left.

The Nigri/Sashimi Combo is amazing

Matt Stout

Very good sushi, but as someone else said, it seems easy to be forgotten about in the first booth near the entrance. Maybe turn that into waiting benches instead? Otherwise, love the place.

Tyrone Grandstrand

The new location is beautiful, tidy, and cozy. I enjoyed two simple sushi rolls over lunch. The service was fast and friendly, and the food was great. I plan to stop by for lunch again soon!

I loved the steak! Very tender. The rice was very good. I liked the show!

Decent place. Only sushi hibachi place in greenfield. Food is always good but the cleanliness of the restaurant isn't the best. Don't look at the ceiling if you eat here....

Brandan Holmes

My wife And I went here for lunch today. We always enjoy it and the sushi is always good.

Michael Hilton

All the foods natural flavor was over powered by an excess of teriaki sauce. Both filets and grand daughters steaks were over cooked as well as the lobster. I ordered an adult beverage but I think they forgot the alcohol. Best part of the meal was the mint by the register.

I've been here twice now with my wife and 5 yo son. Our son has a proven severe dairy and egg allergy. It can be a challenge to eat out especially when everything is cooked together. Both visits were uneventful. The first we told the waitress up front of the allergy and she said to tell the Chef. We did as she asked and he took it seriously. Our boy got steamed rice and his food cooked separately on the hibachi. Second visit and chef took me seriously as well. He ordered steamed rice immediately. He did forget halfway through and buttered the chicken. I didn't have to say much. He ordered new chicken be made in the kitchen. Shortly after, he went back to the kitchen and returned with fresh chicken which he cooked in front of us separately on the hibachi cleaning his tools as he went. We will be back. Great food, great people. Thanks!

Cars B

Pretty disappointment this is the only sushi place that I've found in greenfield so far. Sushi way overpriced and honestly I'm not thrilled with their customer service. Spend the money on gas and go elsewhere.

Bob Andrews

Worst experience in my life took my mother in there for Mother's Day as the workers what was good she went to the manager the manager yelled at us and we walked out it's natural for someone to ask when they've never been at your restaurant beforevery rude very upsetting to my mother

I am disappointed. Not in the food, but in the management by the owner. My husband and I visited this establishment for the first time with our two young sons. One of our sons has a potential egg allergy, however we wanted to experience the hibachi grill. Knowing eggs are incorporated in the fried rice, I asked our waiter to make sure no eggs were used in the food preparation. We also let our hibachi chef know about the allergy, and asked him repeatedly not to incorporate eggs into the dishes. He started his routine and the boys were mesmerized. The chef began to crack eggs and I became concerned. After a few minutes, I realized the chef had no intentions of creating a non-egg dish. I discreetly approached our waiter and the owner and asked if they could recreate a dish in the kitchen for our son. A mistake on their part should be fixed in my mind. I wasn't upset and just thought the chef had forgotten due to his normal routine. The owner questioned why I hadn't let our waiter or chef know. I informed her that I had told both several times. She reluctantly agreed to make another dish in the kitchen. While we were waiting, the chef tried to put the egg fried rice, chicken and vegetables that had been contaminated with the egg protein our our son's plate. We repeatedly put our hands in front of the plate and told him our son could not have eggs. The chef served our other son and he eagerly began eating his food. Fifteen minutes later after everyone except my egg allergy son had their food, our waiter approached me and said his boss wanted him to take the plate of food our other son was enjoying, or we would have to pay for the recreated dish and the dish in which they made the mistake. I was in shock at the absurdity of this demand. The waiter took the plate from my son, who is 4, and abruptly and left. My four year old was left confused and hungry. Ten minutes later a new non-egg dish was delivered. The boys quickly ate and then we left. I am understand people are not fully aware of the severity of egg allergies, but to take a perfectly good dish from a 4 year old just to toss it in the trash due to a mistake on the restaurant's part is absurd. My four year old didn't deserve to be treated that way. We will not provide any more business for this unreasonable company. I've also let our friends and family know of the poor management and business practice. Very disappointed.

Great family environment

My family has visited this location many times. I’m really disappointed in the subpar food quality and service we have received the last few visits. Tonight we ordered the mistake roll, beef nemataki, spicy crab salad, the fantastic roll and udon noodles with beef and vegetables. The mistake roll was great as normal but I was disappointed in the fantastic roll. It was placed in the same container as our mistake roll (which is tempura fried) therefore the salmon, yellow fish and tuna were warm instead of cold. The white fish did not taste fresh. Our udon noodle dish was tasty but the beef nemataki was tough to chew and soggy in the center. We both enjoyed our spicy crab salad but next time I would ask for less/no tempura flake. Our food was at a table where guests were waiting to be sat for the hibachi table. They seemed understaffed and we had to ask multiple times about our carry out.

Jaylynne Flannagan

My family loves wasabi. We went today (saturday) around 5pm. We didn't have to wait more than about 15 minutes for the chef to come out and start cooking. Our chef's name was Anthony. He must have been new because all the tricks he tried he failed at. We go for the food, not the show, so we were not worried about it. However, we definitely got smaller portions this time than every other time we have gone, which we did not enjoy. The food is always good though.

Excellent! Staff and food!! I'm vegetarian and there's usually limited options on the menu. I asked the waiter for suggestion and he was kind enough to pass the question to the chef. Chef made me two absolutely delicious rolls, looked great and tasted even better. I'm coming back whenever I visit Fargo!!

Te Buss

Always great food.

Good food and fun hibachi cooking show.

Wasabi is easily the best sushi in Fargo. Get the broken heart roll. Great new location right off broadway. Decent beer and wine selection, including some local beer (all in cans). I only wish they delivered, then they would be perfect!

Brigette Jones

Great place! Very nice people, and good food! I get lunch carryout often, and am never disappointed.

Courteous and friendly service. Delicious sushi! We had the edamame tossed with Poke sauce. We ordered the dragon, broiled eel and spicy salmon rolls. I definitely recommend Wasabi to Sushi lovers and will come back if I’m in Fargo again.

The sushi didn't taste bad. It was pretty standard. The service, however, was terrible. Our server seemed impatient, complacent and was very short with us.

New location needs a lot of attention. We have received terrible service, as well as watched customers get up and leave because they were not served. It’s not particularly busy in here, however it looks to be short staffed. We’ve been waiting an hour for basic rolls while other tables have sat after us and received all of their food. Super disappointing. Wasabi used to be my favorite, not I am not sure I will return. I hope the service, menu, and timeliness improves with time.

The habachi was really good, but the sushi was off. It seemed okay, but it was room temperature.

Went on a Friday night, knew they were going to be busy. No big deal. But there were 2 of us. Waited a half hour to sit down. Then once the table filled up (total 8 people) we get our drinks, soups, and then finished our salads. So we are waiting for the cook to come out, and she sits TWO MORE people at our table when there is a clean table across from us. So then we have to wait longer for the chef to come out. So chef comes out and he must be new or something because he put YumYum sauce on the rice?! Little to no soy sauce and teriyaki sauce. Chicken and steak was dry and then added sesame seeds??? Not sure if all chefs do that but did NOT like the outcome of my food. He took his sweet time also. Table in front of us the chef was out about 15 minutes after ours and he was done before ours. Not happy. Server was slow as well.

Good food. Wish we could have sat at the hibachi bar but other than that it was good!

Very good sushi! Much better than I expected to find in Fargo oh, and I have sushi all over the country. I had the 911 role which was excellent. The miso soup was also better than average. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys seafood or sushi.

Some of the best sushi in Indy!!

The service has gone down the past few months I feel, I've went to dinner there atleast 5 time and lunch once. The Sushi is good quality for the price. The waitresses on the other hand are not aware of the type of sushi that are serving that you ordered.

Love this place!!!! I've never had a bad experience. There is a wait to fill up a table and that can be annoying if you're in a hurry but I always go to the back and I go at lunch time. It's less expensive for lunch and you're served quicker in the back if you're ok with not getting the show.

Went in hoping for the "habachi" experience, left severely underwhelmed. Take the time and go somewhere else. Small portions, only 1 chef, slow service, inconsistent flavor, and over priced.

Our favorite place in Greenfield.

Had the California and yellowtail rolls. Food was a bit uneven in terms of taste but was alright. Service seemed a bit uneven too but the main lady checks with you in case something goes wrong. Decent place, not the best, not the worst.

This place is excellent. Young Sushi Chef and very talented. Had Albacore, rare in the midwest to begin with, and slightly seared. The special rolls, and there are lots of them, are done very well and generous with high quality fish. I travel nearby for work and will frequent and take home going forward. Excellent sushi and i've had it all over the US, including vegas and Newport Beach. It's one of the better i've had anyplace. Yes, the servers are overspread. Don't care w/ fish like this, i talked directly to him and yes my iced tea took forever but who cares.

Went there on Christmas evening. They only had one cook. Stood waiting for half hour Then realized only the one cook. Were there on Friday night same problem. Went to leave and the lady who seats you was very rude. We won't be going back anytime soon. So sad they do have good food.

We've been numerous times and never treated so rudely as tonight. We took a party of 16 for my son's birthday, we waited past our reservation time and refused to seat us before everyone in the party arrived. When we were sat around the grill it was dirty (I had to request them to clean it before they cooked). It took an hour to start our meal when they did they still got our order wrong. They usually do a show as they cook the meal. He did not at all, didn't even bother to respond to our questions. This was the only place my son asked to go for his ninth birthday dinner. When I asked if they would sing him happy birthday the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude and said nd I quote "someone already told me, OK!! I ALREADY KNOW!" Most of our party had never been there and their first experience was awful. From here on out my family will make the drive to Kabuto in Greenwood.

Really good food. Most of the staff is friendly.
