This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Italian restaurant.
Overpriced. Food kind of okay. Not many veggie options.
Amazing lamb chop lollipop, probably one of my favorite dish. Very juicy and tender. Their house soup was delicious too( cauliflower and spinach). Wasn't too happy with the salmon i have ordered. Could have been lil more seasoned. But their mango chutney was out of the world with just the right amount of sweet and tang. Overall very nice customer service with good food. Would definitely visit again.
Upscale but not pretentious. Food is great.
The menu has a nice selection, and the service was great!
Outstanding food and service. I'll be back anytime I'm in Columbus.
Food was excellent.... Great service we were not rushed to order, and to hurry and eat and get out. Owner takes the time to visit your table...Highly recommend..
Wonderful food and atmosphere.
Food was excellent and the service very good. Will definitely be back.
I was looking for a nice place for lunch, and found it here at Tre Bicchieri. Cozy setting, service was on point, and the chicken paresan was very good. Tucked away in the downtown area, which added some nice character. There's outdoor seating, which I'm not a fan of in such tight areas right next to the road, but I'm sure it'd be nice on a summer evening.
Not sure if it was just a bad night , had the New York Strip. Looked great good size, no flavor at all ! Ask for some A1 and I guess thats a no no. Has to salt the steak to give it some flavor. Service was good however.
Absolutely a horrible experience. We’ve been treated better at a gas station. Trey the manager was rude and the service was pathetic. Unprofessional and his personal attitude was over the top. Sat for 30 minutes and never offered a drink or anything. You could tell they had a bad night and were taking it out on others. I’m sure more bad reviews will soon follow. Never again will we step foot in this place.
We had reservations for 16 this past Saturday night. They did well getting us in, but we had to sit at 2 different tables. I would have liked to sit together. Our server Brittany did a great job getting our drinks. But, the food was very disappointing. 2 people ordered chicken parmesan and it had to be sent back because it was burnt. 3 of us ordered shrimp and scallops spinach rotini and it did not have any flavor. 3 shrimp and 2 scallops for a $25 plate. For the price that is charged for the food I expected for it to taste so much better. I had high hopes for this place but I don't see us going back.
Excellent food. Good service. Reasonable price
Staff was rude food was not worth the price
Nice private dining experience. Excellent wine list, service and tiramisu.
The short version: Terrible. Two of us waited one and one half hours to pay $60 for mediocre lasagna in an Italian restaurant that was about two thirds full. The rest: We had reservations for 7:30 on a Saturday night. It took 15 minutes for water and another 5 before our order was taken. 15 minutes after that, the bread arrived. At about one hour in, we finally got the appetizer and then another 25 minutes passed before the salad. Finally a half an hour later, the lasagna arrived. It was mediocre and too salty. I never did get my glass of wine and my water was only refilled once all night. All the heavily tattooed waitress had to offer was an insincere "Sorry, we have a party upstairs and the kitchen was behind." So apparently, they take on more than they can handle and give low priority to the dining room.
Great food!
I went there with a friend to celebrate her birthday, the service was great, the food was incredible. I had the house salad and it was packed with strawberries, goat cheese, and candied walnuts. Delicious! We will be back for more!
The scallops I had were excellent, prepared perfectly!! Many times scallops are overcooked. Loved it with such creamy risoto!
The food was amazing! We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Have fond memories of sitting outside at this cafe on a warm summer evening on a road trip in 2016. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating; food was lovely. I don't remember exactly what I had, but they figured something out for this vegetarian and it was really good. Would definitely stop in again if driving by on I-65! So much better than settling for truck-stop food, lol :)
Great food, good variety of dishes. I'm never disappointed with their lasagna. I would definitely recommend trying the butter cake!
Good ambience with nice Italian food but a bit expensive!!
Good Italian food
Have been twice. Location is nice and atmosphere is great. Food is really mediocre, however. Price doesn't reflect the dishes. Still worth a trip, though.
Made reservations last month to go for Valentine's Day. Huge disappointment, we have the Special, Beef Wellington with baked potato and asparagus and salad. The salad was so wet it wasn't edible, the food had zero flavor, the sauce didn't even have flavor. The only thing I ordered that had any flavor was the Moscow mule and it had so much ginger I couldn't drink it. Such a big disappointment, we were so excited to visit.
Tre Bicchieri does an awesome job with their annual Spay-ghetti dinner/fundraiser for CARE. Bring cash/check or pay the card processing fee charged by Square. Don't forget the raffles offered in addition to dinner.
Had reservation, showed up was seated at a pre placed table with bread and water already available. Apetizer, salad, and meal all delivered in perfect time. Staff was more than kind and not pushy. More than you could ask for a nice evening dinner. Generous portions of food also.
Wonderful service and delicious food. The butter bread dessert is scrumptious!
Literally had the worst service. My boyfriend and I came and there were only 2 servers and it took an entire 15 minutes to get some water. When the food arrived, I asked for a fork and I waited and waited....still no fork. The waitress was over at the bar chatting it up with someone else. I ended up having to use my boyfriend’s fork. Food was okay, nothing memorable. We won’t be returning.
Wonderful place to dine for lunch or dinner. Really hate to see them closing at year end. They will be missed. Hope someone steps up and buys the business to continue its operation.
Great food and service!
Very good seafood pasta dish with some solid appetizers
I misspoke earlier I wrote that did not want disability children in the restaurant. It's not that they don't. They can not accommodate children in wheelchairs at that time they may have fixed the promblem since then. They apologise for that. I guess they have new management or owners since then. I have never ate there do to that.
Good ambience, service and yummy Tiramasu
Went to this restaurant last night and I was blown away.. The chefs specialty sword fish was to die for.. My husband had the ravioli and it was so tasty, loved that fresh tomato sauce.. Can't wait to go back for a second date night. This place is perfect for those intimate romantic evenings with a loved one..
Great service, okie dokie food.
Great food! i would recommend this place
If you want an authentic Italian restaurant with quality food. Do not waste your time with this place! One person in our party not only had very raw sausage and cold noodles, they fixed it but didn’t comp his meal and my husbands potatoes were way under cooked. There were plenty of wait staff but they do not help other tables, we had to wait a very long time just for water. When a call was made later to the manager he was too busy to talk and has not called back and it’s been almost 24hrs. Very disappointing, we won’t go back don’t recommend this restaurant at all.
Like to play here. Great food.
Stopped here as we wondered through Columbus. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding. My wife, my son and I all ordered different dishes and each was delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
The food is second rate at best the wait staff was horrible and snooty they automatically add gratuity to a party more than 4 I would not have given that waitress $5 with the way she treated us we went back a second time and got more of the same
Slow service, rubber bread, item I ordered on menu but not available at 30 minutes after open for dinner service (not informed until half way though salad). Dined here once nearly 6 years ago and did not have menu item I wanted to order. I see a trend here. The alfredo was good. The tomato bisque was good. Could smell the fish on another partie's plate from halfway across the restaurant (if it smells like fish, it is not fresh). I am reminded why I have not returned in almost six years. The experience was almost identical. There will not be third try.
An exquisite experience. Fish and wine on time. Steak....
I had heard good things about this place, but was pretty disappointed. The food was good, but not worth the price, and the service was very slow. Nothing to write home about!
The staff was very welcoming. The wine selection was good along with bruschetta we ordered. However we didn’t like the salmon and the chicken linguine main course we ordered. The crispy skin was no more crispy cause it was kept over couscous which was more of soupy consistency instead of side dish salad which was mentioned on menu.
Excellent food, generous portions, reasonable prices and exceptional staff. Reservations are recommended.
Pasta was amazing! Ani the kiramosu cake too!
The atmosphere is great and the staff was very nice. Definitely better food than the chain Italian places. The tenderloin gorgonzola was fantastic!
Great evening with great food! Tony Stewart and Rico Abreu were having dinner there while we were there.
What ever possessed everyone in Columbus, In. to show up at Tre Bicchieri last night (9/13/12) is beyond me. Expected a moderately lively Wednesday night. But, despite the more-than-full house - the kitchen and staff excelled. We requested a quiet table (not an easy feat for that night) - and we took table, had a bottle of wine and waited for a quiet spot, which we were moved to as soon as it became available. The service, despite the very busy night, was good (and I know that on quieter nights it has been excellent). Despite the unexpectedly large crowd - the kitchen excelled. We were 5 people. The salmon and the shrimp dishes were very, very good. The lamb kabobs were spectacular! The dessert was wonderful. When we left, we were very happy campers. Kudos to the kitchen - there was every reason to have served less-than fabulous food that night - BUT they excelled.
Awesome location for prom. Little on the expensive side but worth it!!
Miss some of the old menu options, but really good food. The vodka sauce is INCREDIBLE!
Being an "Italian restaurant" on Washington street, it may have some reasons to over charge you. But I am pretty sure that my chicken soup is from Walmart canned food, and the bread sticks are far from fresh. Pasta is just OK. Honestly, I couldn't think of any reason that you choose here for a dinner instead of an olive garden trip.
Delicious food, and great service. Recommended.
More of a mom and pops feel. The food was good, the price was a bit more than I care for considering the atmosphere. It was a little on the stiff, want to be classy, rather than actually classy. IE: entered and was ask if we had a reservation, we stated no, do we need one. We were told no, we walked into the booth area, the seat was the same build and meterials (not color) of an Arby's. The seat was torn. Which is fine. I love local establishments (New Albany has some GREAT local dining on the river) but not for the price that was charged. IE: $10.00 corking fee should you want to take the bottle of wine you purchased with you. With some refinement, this could be a great place.
Great service. Great sitting. Only wish there were more vegetarian options.
Cool spot.
Summary of our Friday (11/30) evening dinner experience: 1. Arrived at 8pm, got a table and food orders were taken. 2. While we were waiting for food to arrive, our waters were not refilled. Didn't get bread even with the appetizer. Servers pretty much ignored our presence. 3. An undercooked, cold appetizer (walnut encrusted goat cheese - photo attached) was served after 35 minutes. The dish looks good ONLY in the photo. 4. It took us another 10 minutes of just sitting with our uneaten plates to get the server's attention about the horrible appetizer. The dish was removed from our check. 5. Entree (pasta) was bought in at 8.55 pm but we were ready to just walk out at this point. The entree was average too (common it's an Italian place - you can at least get this right). But had to eat it as we've had been starving for almost an hour. 6. The hotel manager finally walked up to us and asked about the situation. The reason given was that the kitchen was backed up on the busy night and he himself had to help out in there but we did not accept this reason as he was standing right next to our table chatting with a few other guests as we were starring down on our disastrous dinner. He tried to offer us free take out but I was mad at this point- just wanted to finish up & leave. 7. So the entree too was removed as a compensation for our wait time. Also, prices of the dishes are not all justified for their quality and service the place offers. We've been regulars here but yesterday's experience has been a complete let down.
Food was incredible! They give you bread to start out - they have olive oil at the table but I wish they gave us Parmesan cheese as well. Service was a bit slow, our server probably came to our table only 3 or 4 times, while runners or the hostess came more often to check on us. I still gave it 5 stars because the restaurant was busy, so our server had a lot to do, and the food was fantastic!! For 2 people we paid over $100, so definitely keep that in mind when looking for a place to eat!
Locally owned, good service.
If you appreciate Italian food you will not enjoy this. Parm chicken was soggy. Spaghetti sauce was too sweet. Meatballs had too much garlic. Bread was cold, plain with no butter. But the tomato bisque was good.
Fantastic food, had the seafood pasta special and it was delicious. Friend had lasagna and it was big and he enjoyed it.
Some very very tasty Italian food. There were vegetarian options that I found to be very tasty. I could also modify the salads easily to be dairy-free. Our waitress was incredibly kind and was able to answer all of our questions!
Decent place overall. A bit overpriced for the amount of food offered. The food quality and taste was good. But limited options compared to what you would usually find in Italian restaurants. The service was slow a few times. Plenty of scope scope to get better especially given the good food quality.
Very expensive
Excellent dining in intimate charming Tre Bicchieri downtown Columbus, IN. Wait staff well trained, meal from beginning to end was delicious and presentation lovely. The owner is on site to insure guests are pleased. He makes the best tiramisu ever, himself. Give it a try and you’l return often as we have.
A great little Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Columbus, IN.
