Beef tacos were a tad bit dry, but nothing some sauce couldn't fix. I don't know if the soft corn tortillas are freshly made or not but they taste AMAZING. I am a Mexican food lover and this place is definitely one you'd want to eat at regularly.

Great spot in fountain square specializing in Tortas, which are Mexican sandwiches. Each dish is named after either a celebrity or country. I had the Megan Fox torta which has chicken, chorizo, and mozzarella cheese served toasted. It's delicious with the avocado and big enough to leave you feeling full. We also ordered the guacamole and chips for an appetizer, an excellent choice. I lived in San Diego for a while and had authentic Mexican food often; this place is legit.

Beware, if you order “smoked pork” tacos, you’re getting deli ham tacos. Was not expecting that. Had never experienced anything quite like it. My husband ordered a torta with chicken breast and it was canned chicken breast. He said he noticed in the menu, all the tortas named after male celebrities had hot dog (wiener) on them and all the tortas named after female celebrities had chicken BREAST on them, so he said he should’ve known the chicken breast would be on par with a hot dog. Disappointing. Why disguise ham on a menu as “smoked pork”?

Really nice people serving amazing food! I lived in Mexico D.F for four and a half years and their food is the real deal. Guacamole could have a dash more limon verde, but everything else in the Guac was spot on. I got the Jencarlos Torta and it hit the sweet spot of flavors As someone who loves spicy, their home-made red sauce is not for the faint of heart. The Salsa Verde is easier to take in normal sized doses.

The tortas are fantastic, as is the guacamole. The atmosphere and menu are original and enjoyable. Located in Fountain Square within walking distance to tons of great activities. Prices are more than fair for quality and quantity. Will be going back!

I used to eat here or order takeout at least once or twice a month when I was still living in Indy, and it was always wonderful. The service was friendly and the food was delicious (and huge - I was always uncomfortably full). Definitely one of the places I miss the most.

If you want a sandwich like none you've had before, you must get it here and your mouth will thank you. Each sandwich is made fresh to order. The bread is a Hispanic roll that is large with the barest hint of sweet. I. Always get the original torte that has many kinds of meat, an egg, cheese, avocado, and pineapple. Trust me, it may sound weird, but wow does it work. The sandwich is almost large enough for 2 people. Also check out the esquites, yum! and the tamales. The sandwich prices look high, but when you taste what you got and size you'll be very happy.

I came there for my lunch hour with a big appetite! Ordered the Cuban (seemed very basic and not something that would disappoint). Jalapeño and carrots instead of chips and salsa. NO FREE REFILLS. The sandwich lead me to believe that in Cuba sandwiches are comprised of anything and everything left in the refrigerator that there restrictive government hadn't taken from you. PINEAPPLE. HOT DOG. CHORIZO. TURKEY. HAM. A THIN SLICE OF AVOCADO AND CHEESE. GREASY HOT WET MESS! Terrible service terrible menu (based on Latino celebs... + Pamela Anderson?) I left without tipping (something I've never done before)

We come here all the time and we love it. It's honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants in town, but we just had a horrible experience. We were the only people in the restaurant. My meat came out raw on my taco and I regrettably requested it be cooked. As soon as she put it on the grill I heard this giant sneeze that was not covered. I can only assume she sneezed all over my food.

My girlfriend and I are in love with this place. It has become a regular date spot for us over the years. The location is super convenient, and never very busy, which makes it a great dinner spot. Also their celebrity tortas are delicious. Personally the Luis Miguel might be my favorite.

Being Mexican-American I am frequently asked where my friends can grab great authentic mexican meal. I have a few locations that I enjoy, but quality is inconsistent and appearance deters many from entering. Tortas Guicho is an amazing I would recommend first before any other place.the interior and exterior truly represents Mexico with colors and decorations such as piñatas and music. I had the Cubana, a Mexican classic. It was huge and just what I would expect from an authentic mexican restaurant. Each bite had a surprise just because it was packed with so much flavor. I hate sour cream, tomatoes, and avocado, and it wasn't until half way I got through the sandwich I noticed it, but I did not care. The sauces pack a perfect kick of heat without being your overwhelming, and flavor was all there. I will always recommend this location for an authentic meal before anywhere else.

After telling myself for years, "I've gotta go there sometime!", the day finally came. Man! Wish I'd tried this place sooner! Food: Ordered two chorizo tacos and a veggie tamal. Chorizo: fantastic paired with the roja pepper sauce; tamal: lightly salted white corn base filled with escabeche--great w/ salsa verde. All fantastic. Staff: friendly and attentive. Environment: clean and cheerfully accompanied by instrumental pop music.

The food and service is great, huge torta menu. They also have tacos that are awesome. The fish tacos are definitely worth getting, as well as the guacamole & chips. The menu is not very big on dinner plates but what they do have is worth coming here. I'll definitely make a trip back when I'm back in town.

They primarily have tortas, with celebrity names, but they also have tacos and some other Mexican faire. I had the chimichanga, it was the best chimichanga I've ever had! Whole slices of avocado and delicious meat inside, covered in copious amounts of queso! The chips were unique, in a good way. Very crispy and warm. Salsa was delicious as well. Definitely will return!

Friendly staff and reasonable prices. The tortas are on point, but not much in the way of vegetarian options, and they mark-up veggie substitutions to an insane price (despite saving money by not including meat in the dish). Avoid burritos, quesadillas, etc as these are lackluster. Stick to what they do right, which includes the homemade hot sauce.

My husband went here for lunch with a work crowd and loved it so much, he took me back as soon as possible. Interior was clean, bright, and comfortable. Our sever was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The tortas are playfully named after celebrities, with some wild combinations of pork chops, hot dog, etc. The back of the menu contains more traditional Mexican fare of burritos, tacos, chimichungas, etc. Portions are very generous. Next time, we'll probably split one entree. They also serve beer, and randomly, snow cones. I was warned the red salsa was hot, but good heavens, it was lava! I love to eat spicy food, but this took me a good five minutes and half a beer to survive through the burn on the tip of my tongue. Quite a fun little treasure. I'm eager to try them for breakfast.

The. Real. Deal. Their tacos, on homemade corn tortillas, are otherworldly. Fresh ingredients and no-nonsense prep make this a must-try. Also, if you enjoy a good, really hot red sauce, theirs sets a new standard and is so good that I wish I could get it by the quart to put on everything, all the time. Lastly, when you place an order and the person you're speaking to turns towards the kitchen and says "Mama! Two chicken tacos..." you just know you've found a special restaurant and that you're in for a treat.
