REVIEWS OF The Eagle's Nest IN Indiana

Alex O.

The view was fantastic. The food was mediocre. The price was out of this world (read: ridiculously expensive). I could have easily spent half the money for my steak anywhere else and it would have been just as good or better. Come for the view, but maybe just have a drink? The food is not worth the money.

Troy Turner

Great food and friendly service.

Jalynne Hopkins

Good view and concept. Nice design and decor. Limited menu. Server Mya was hard to hear the entire time and didnt get the hint to speak up though we kept asking her to repeat herself. The chicken was delicious. Personally was not a fan of the almond butter noodle dish

tyron smith

Lovely place. Great view. Very romantic and shrimp & grits are to die for

Owen Heritage

Great food and lovely ambience.

Tracy McGraw

It was my first time going and it was nice

Aleksandar Benic

5* for the view and experience. Service is great. Food is okay.

Michael Chaka

Sitting here right now actually. The view is nice, but the staff are not friendly or helpful. The restaraunt isn't even half full, yet we aren't allowed to sit by the window because we were only ordering drinks (again, tons of seating available). Several wait staff with 'greater-than-thou' attitudes. View is nice, but probably not worth the attitude

Lara Sargologo-Hunt

This was our first time at The Eagle's Nest. We met my cousin who was in town for business. We ordered appetizers, salads and dessert. Everything was delicious. Angel was our server. She was amazing. We ordered the cheesecake at her recommendation. Oh heaven. The view is beautiful especially at sunset. We will definitely go back

Curtis Lyons

OMG THE FOOD, THE VIEW, THE AMBIANCE, THE SERVICE, THE WHOLE DAMN THING I WAS AWESOME

Robert Hays

Food was tasty. View is pretty and the rotating restaurant concept is neat. Service was nice/pleasant but seemed quite slow even though restaurant was pretty empty. I couldn't figure out why it would take over 30 min from sitting down to have appetizers and soups/salads served. A pleasant experience but not an overall 5 star restaurant in my one experience. Maybe others have experienced faster service.

Jed Fuller

Good food great views of Indianapolis!

Michelle Gatewood

Great food, awesome veiw, and good service.

Gail Henricks

Service really slow. We had allotted 1.5 hour for dinner. We ran out of time for IRT. had to skip dessert which was included in the Valentine's menu. Didn't offer a go box. Not worth the money.

Willie Farmer

Food was excellent great service.

Gtpbuilder

Incredible view that rotates while you eat AMAZING food. It's definitely a perfect place to surprise your wife for your 10th Anniversary. Highly recommended. One of downtown Indianapolis' hidden gems... in plain sight.

Kenneth Martinez

Great of course! Filet Mignon was awesome

Nikita Long

Loved the waitress and it was very romantic for my anniversary

Matt Roth

I took my father to the Eagle's Nest for his Birthday, we had high expectation and they were all met. Although there are many great steak restaurants in Indy, none have the view of the Eagle Nest. If nothing else, the view of Indy makes it worth it. The Naked Ravioli was great. My father had the seafood chowder whereas I had the French Onion Soup. Although both were great, the seafood chowder is nice and meaty. We both had the prime rib which was great. We will definite come back here for special occasions.

Danielle Wade

Good food, great service!!

It was sooo much more than we expected! (Not the bill, the experience!) Super relaxed atmosphere! And, it was quiet, unlike some of the other high-end restaurants in downtown Indy. Our server Trace, was Amazing! He helped us choose a proper wine for our taste and threw in a complimentary dessert since it was our 10 year anniversary. The food was fatastic with great flavor and ample portioned! We did the full scope of dinner there: App's, bottle of wine, entre & dessert totaling $190. We were there for the experience, so we good w/ that bill. I recommend it highly for the experience great food! And, if you want the best server there, ASK for TRACE to be your server!

Danielle Weaver

Fun place

This restaurant is amazing! The views are amazing (even without rotating). The drinks are very well made. They give you two different kinds of breads and both were amazing (I think they switch them out very frequently). I recommend making reservations to eat but they have a lounge for drinks.

Sarah Alasbahi

My fiancè & I came here celebrating our anniversary. We had a great experience. Food was very good along with our service!

Scott Griner

We loved the one of a kind atmosphere of the Eagle's Nest. The platform of the restaurant rotates to give patrons a 360 view of downtown Indianapolis. The dinner was delicious. We had a party of 6 and the service was fast. We were never rushed. We had a great time.

Milton Neeley

This is a rotating Restaurant on top of the Hyatt Hotel. The food is excellent and expensive. Like everything in Indianapolis.

Michelle Preston

It was a terrible experience. So I wanted to take my mom there to get some desserts and some drinks and we was dressed up nice of course. But when we got there and ask for a table they said “that’s part was closed” since it was busy”. So I decided to call up there and the host said no we have a open spot for y’all. “But didn’t they say it was closed” and then she said yea my “manager picks and chooses sometimes” that is so embarrassing. We have the money to pay. I think it’s funny

Vero R

Really nice restaurant! The food is delicious, fair portions. The service was a little bit slow but the waiters were very friendly. $$$$

Gary Sosnick

Everything was very good.

Krista Gibson

I took my boyfriend here for dinner. Neither of us have been here before. Best service ever!!! Maya was the bomb watriss. Food was amazing! The view was outstanding. We will defiantly be back. Thank you for making our night unforgettable.

Megan Anderson

I took my boyfriend here for our anniversary a few days ago! It was both of our first times there. It was breathtakingly beautiful. The staff was some of the friendliest and happiest I've seen anywhere! And that prime rib... there's a reason that it's their signature piece. Please go, have a glass of wine, and gaze over the Hoosier capital with your loved one, it's worth every penny.

Brandon Stokes

My wife and I came for our anniversary, it was the most upscale thing we've seen since coming from NY. I highly recommend the NY strip steak it was honesty the best steak I have ever had in my life. Cooked at just the right temperature and served fresh. My wife got the chicken and also was magnificent highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to wow their husband or wife go to Eagles nest.

Andrea Perez-Phillips

I read some of the reviews and was a little nervous about going to this restaurant. Yeah so I'm glad I ignored those reviews. My husband and I went here for our anniversary. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, the service was excellent, and the view was spectacular! The crab cakes were amazeballs! Lol..yep, I said amazeballs. My husband had the bone in pork chop and I had the duck breast. Both were delicious as I mentioned earlier. Our server Mya (I think that was her name) was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us great suggestions as what foods would pair well with our main course. We went on a Sunday night as opposed to a Saturday night when I'm sure it's a lot more busy during dinner. Definitely check this place out. My husband and I absolutely loved it and we will be back.

Tyson Danz

My wife and I had a great experience at this restaurant. It is very pricey, I would say the average couple will spend $120.00 to 150.00 just on their meals. Our total came to $114.00 due to the waitress comping our dessert because it was our Wedding Anniversay. If you are a drinker, I would imagine your bill to be much higher. The view of the Indianapolis skyline was wonderful and since the Eagles Nest is a revolving restaurant the view was always changing. The wait staff was very professional and polite. Christine was our waitress and she took very good care of us from start to finish. I would highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions or if you just want to dine while watching the Indy skyline.

Sarah Brown

My husband and I came to The Eagles Nest for our first date night after our daughter was born. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the atmosphere and views were everything we’d hoped for. Our server was personable and helpful with all questions. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Indianapolis for couples.

Lindsey _kn

Always lovely. Be prepared though, good food costs good money

J Graf

Wonderful place to go and relax and enjoy the view.

Catie Pepper

Great place to grab a drink and relax. We go there a couple times a year to just unwind and watch the city go by (literally). Not many food options. Comfortable seating (chairs and couches). Drinks range from $10ea to $16ea

Carol Sylvester

Just was fun. Great service

Matt Haseman

Terrific view, terrific food and excellent service. Visited here for a late night drink and desserts. Loved it.

Doug Maheux

Food was tasty but even though there was only a few diners it felt like service was very slow.

Ellie Sellars

A marvelous evening!

paul terhune

excellent meal, great view

Beautiful Bean

Absolutely Beautiful, dishes do take a while but it just gives you more time to see the view. It moves slow but then seems move to faster the longer you sit. Went there twice and Zach the waiter is good he recommended the strawberry lemon shortcake it was delicious!!!! Hands down the best restaurant in Indy !!

Haley Whitley

When I made the reservation, I was expecting a much better experience. When I made the reservation, I talked to the host and she asked me if I was celebrating anything. I told her our close friends were expecting a baby. We arrive; we were seated promptly. Great view! Clean tables! Our waitress wasn’t horrible just rude. She came over to introduce herself and said “someone is expecting a job promotion.” My husband said “No” before he could say anything else she cut him off to say “yes you are. I can show you the paper.” Very rude and dry like. My husband very politely responded with “my friends are expecting”. She said okay and walked away. She did keep up with our drinks. And the food was delivered promptly. My rice was cold. And way too much fat on my prime rib. My husbands rice also cold. And even though the waitress was rude, she did do her job. I don’t want to discredit her all the way. I was disappointed this happened at the start of the night. Kinda gave the whole experience a stigma.

Spencer Sitcler

Awesome time!

Seth Damas

Went here for the Devour Indy Menu. The exceptional service was the best part. The portion sizes were good too, however, the quality of the prime rib, brussel sprouts and even the garlic potatoes was waaaaay below where it should be for a restaurant of this caliber. BE ALERT and look at your bill before paying! It was just two of us and even though there is still a place for gratuity, 20% had already been added to the bill! One of our least favorite Devour Indy experiences.

Carrie Sanker

Made reservations..Was looking forward to our anniversary dinner....We even mentioned it when we made reservations...We were sat right away...our server Danielle was abrupt and not really friendly...didnt take time to tell us about specials or ask what brought us in tonight there was nothing....you can get the same view from going to the memorial for free..so the view is nothing to brag about...the food was ok..my chicken was dry, husbands prime rib was fair..the Brussels sprouts were cold...our salt shaker was empty, we laughed that they could sell a 10 dollar bottle of sutterhomes wine for 34 bucks..but we knew it was going to be pricey...BUT the best was when my husband's chair broke..completely reclined all the way back..Told the waitress..she did NOT say oh so sorry or let me get you a new chair..nothing other then we'll have to make sure we get rid of that one...we had to laugh..what we thought was going to be a nice romantic anniversary dinner..was a complete fail...but we did get a story and some laughs...it was a very costly story but none the less...unfortunately, I would not recommend this place...so many other options in the downtown Indy area!

Arianna Jones

We were on a vacation in Indianapolis. Our server was very polite and the service was awesome! Food was very good and cooked well. Dessert was fantastic! Will be a top pick next time we visit.

This weekend was our first time dining here. What we learned from our experience was that apparently people come for the rooftop view (which indeed is nice) and not for the service or the food. We had a 6 p.m. dinner reservation, and told our server that we had to be out by 7:30 because we had tickets to an 8 p.m. show; she assured us that that would be no problem! But it took almost an hour after ordering for our food to arrive, and also a full hour to be offered any refill at all on my iced tea. For a restaurant costing us $100/couple to eat, we received very little attention, and at no time did our server or anyone else apologize for the delays or even stop by to say "Your food will be coming soon." My signature-dish Prime Rib was nearly half fat, and came with three grilled brussels sprouts cut in half and some admittedly excellent garlic mashed potatoes. After our food had finally come, the waitress didn't collect our credit cards for payment until 7:50 (and remember she'd originally said we could be out by 7:30)! Consequently our party almost missed the beginning of the show, and made it only because the theatre was close enough to rush there on foot. Note: The nut/raisin bread (one of two options in the bread basket) was quite good, and the man whose job it was to refill our water glasses was excellent about reappearing to top them off as needed, which we appreciated. Consensus: If you want to go mainly for the city view, do so -- but definitely not on a day when you need to be anywhere afterward. And if you're thinking of going mainly so that you can try the Signature Prime Rib, I recommend you eat somewhere nearer the ground, where you're likely to get a better prime rib and to receive it sooner.

Ryan Ferreira

Nice view, brie cheese plate was good also.

Bubbles4112 .

Went there last night. Atmosphere was nice, the rotating part was alil freaky but cool, food was excellent & the waitress (Danielle) was nice. The service was attentive getting used dishes/utensils, refilling water, & course spread out. Will be going again.

Paige Marco

My boyfriend & I had reservations last Sunday night & we were very happy with the whole experience! Mya was our server & was very knowledgeable about the menu & offered to answer any questions we had! (As a server myself, I have to appreciate the upselling on salads & drinks LOL!) Meal was pricey but as some reviews have said, you’re mostly paying for the experience. We got to see the sunset over the city & it was such an amazing viewl! Will definitely be back!

Andrew Lantz

This place was amazing! I have a son who is turning 9 and wants to be a chef. He chose a fine dining experience instead of a party and i put that on the reservation. He got to meet the chef and the chef took him back to the kitchen to help cook the appetizer. He was speechless. A moment he will never forget. Chef Dakota was truly excited to work with my son for this experience. The food was amazing and my son was able to try about 8 new foods which he loved them all. He got to witness great service thanks to Trace who was an outstanding server and went well above expectations even for a place of this level. Thank to to the staff of the Eagles Nest, trace, and Chef Dakota.

Robin Pierce

Very nice atmosphere food was good.

Veronica Hilton

The food here is okay, but it's not fine dining. Definitely not worth the price. The pork chop was flavorless and unseasoned, the duck skin was soggy, and the sauces were overly sweet. Plus the server kept asking to take plates away that still had food on them. If you want a fun novelty experience, you can't beat the view. But that is the best part of the meal, by far.

Golam Mohiuddin

Overall it was a below average experience for me and my wife. We went there for our 1st marriage anniversary dinner. My wife ordered a surprise cake for me couple of days before our anniversary date. But on our dinner night, after we arrived at the restaurant they suddenly told us that their chef left early and they couldn’t prepared our surprise cake!!!! I have no freaking idea why they didn’t inform us earlier! In that case we could go to some other location. Such a poor display of hospitality and mangement. It was just spoiled our anniversary dinner. The food was pretty average. Nothing special at all. The only good thing about this place was the location of the restaurant and it's 360 degree revolving floor. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone for any special / personal event in future.

Takunda Mudarikwa

Great service and food. It was my first time there and will definitely be going back soon!

Alena Van Arendonk

Summary: Nice scenery, but totally average food & inexcusably slow service aren't worth the trouble. Details: We were seated at 6PM, and informed our server that we were concerned about time, as we had to pick up our theatre tickets (across the street at IRT) at will call by 7:30. She told us that wouldn't be a problem. We ordered and waited. And waited. And waited. At 7:15, when we once again expressed concern about the time, our server told us our food would be right out. It was actually put on the table at 7:21, over an hour after we'd ordered. Two of the steaks weren't cooked to the right temperature, but we didn't have time for the kitchen to fix it, as by this time we were already late. One member of our party scarfed down her meal in under 5 minutes and ran to the theatre to make sure our tickets weren't resold; the rest of us chewed quickly and immediately asked for our checks, since the play began at 8PM. We didn't receive the checks until 7:51 -- more than 20 minutes past the time we'd told our server we had to be at the theatre -- and then had to wait on credit cards to be run, with the result that even with immediate elevator service and running to IRT, the curtain chimes were ringing before we made it to our theatre seats. At no time during the entire evening did anyone at the restaurant tell us the kitchen was running behind, or that they were unusually busy, or even apologize for the delay that almost cost us our tickets. As for the food, it was... okay. Perfectly edible, but not as good as you'd find at other local landmarks (St. Elmo, et al.), and not worth the premium price. My prime rib was more than 60% solid fat, and the vegetable servings were small enough that I actually left the restaurant STILL HUNGRY and had to get a snack at the theatre. I should not pay $60 for a meal and leave hungry! I enjoyed the aerial view of the city, but I will not bother eating here again. There are too many good restaurants in Indy to waste time and money on a mediocre experience like this one.

Zack L

Mia was our server assisted by Julian, both were fantastic. They were fun and always ready to make sure we had what we needed. The food was what I expected for the price, and the view was wonderful. Would recommend this place to a friend for sure.

Eagle's Nest what can I say it was a fantastic experience! Great view, great food and our waiter Trace did an exceptional job! The guy deserves a huge raise or a Maserati!

Judy Wilton

Went here for our 8th anniversary and had a great experience! The food was great and we had one of the most sweetest waitresses that we've ever had, it was the icing on the cake. Unique dining experience with excellent service!

Rebecca Johnson

Great atmosphere. Quiet dining and beautiful view. Food and service was great as well!

Had a nice dine & wine . Nice view as it covers all the 360. Also appreciate your service for some billing concerns.

Debbie Lesniewski

A very elegant dining experience. Our service and meal were exactly what we expected. Over the top!

Spencer Sitcler

Awesome time!

Ray Turpin

Great foid and service

Katy Bartley

Great food, wonderful views

Jacob Hoggard

Amazing view, hospitality, and of course great food!

Stephanie Schmidt

What a neat experience. Drinks were good, wait staff was attentive, & the views of downtown are amazing! Couldn’t recommend more!!!

Ricco

Kind of disappointed. The atmosphere was fine and the service was good. The views are very good. But the filet my fiance got and the prime rib I got were both overcooked. Certainly edible but not of the quality I would expect at these prices.

Stephanie Hoskins

Loved everything. From our greeting to our dinner presentation. Made our date night pleasant. Will be returning soon.

Ron Crider

Great place and fantastic atmosphere. Love the prime rib.

Justin Gross

This restaurant truly is a place everyone going to Indianapolis needs to visit. The views of the Indianapolis skyline and landscape are stunning. The rotating section gives you a full 360 view every hour and a half. The food, with its very tiny selection, was good but not what I expected from a $50 per person not including drinks, appetizers, or dessert restaurant. I have had better food at Applebee’s for a quarter of the cost. The service was not what I expected either, I did not get a prim and proper vibe from the staff and from the restaurant. Prim and proper is what I expect from a restaurant where your average bill will be over $100 for two people. From other reviews I have read the main attractions are the drinks and the views. If you don’t mind the cost and want a great experience I definitely recommend visiting, but I don’t plan on coming back anytime soon.

Matthew Guinn

I highly recommend stopping at the Eagle's Nest if you're in Indy. It's at the top of the Hyatt Regency Hotel and it rotates around with breathtaking views of the city. We only stopped for drinks and dessert so I cannot speak to the food. However, the Bartender, Aaron, was very professional and friendly and even brought out a sample of Buffalo Trace that is made specifically for Hyatt hotels. The cheesecake I ordered was delicious. Overall the cost was lower than I was expecting for as nice of a restaurant that the Eagle's Nest is. It's a can't miss experience.

boaz escobar

We were out on a date today we have hear about this place for years, it was definitely not what we expected the food was good and some of the view was good also but not as hype as we thought it was going to be. The waitress was very friendly and nice she did a good job, theirs no parking just for here so you have to find parking, you cannot see the circle center from up there also and that was a very sad moment when we found out. It was okay we don’t know if we would return or not.

Amanda Masek

Loved it. Amazing waitress. Great food. Portions were a lot bigger than what I expected so no one left hungry. I did the small prime rib with white rice and mash. Dessert was the snickerdoodle cheesecake.

Brian Terhune

Eagles nest was excellent. We had Christina as our waitress and she was awesome. Food was perfect and the view cannot be topped. Save room for the toffee and truffle desserts as they are worth a trip up 20 stories for just these by themselves. If you have never been to the Eagle's Nest, book your table now and bring your camera. Happy dining!

Eghe Lenze

Enjoyed our meals. Great experience and atmosphere. Mya was our server and she was amazing.

Ted Brockly

A great place to eat.

Travis Cole

You pay for the view. The food has been good the 3 or 4 times we have been here. It is expensive, but not too overly so. Service is usually pretty good. Has to be the most romantic place overlooking the city. It is really neat on a snowy night.

Carrie Hudson

we were on an anniversary date and have been very excited. The food was great, the view was beautiful but the service wasn’t fabulous. Our server himself was very personable and kind but he has way too many tables. We didn’t get the attention we would of liked but overall recommend.

Elizabeth Lopez

Absolutley wonderful staff and food. Beautiful views of the city.

Shelly Aldrich

Had a nice time here would recommend to anyone to visit food great service awesome made reservations and was accommodated very well.Greeted first thing very inviting.

jmaster 720

Dirty space and very mediocre food for way too much money

Bobbi H.

Nice ambiance, nice staff, great views, and good drinks. However, we were a party of 2 and it took over an hour to get our food. Other tables had arrived way after us, 2-6 people, and were getting their meals before us. Some even left before we got our meals. For the price of this place, they should be doing better with this. No explanation or apologies were given. We weren't impressed. Food was decent though.

Helen Brent

Retro feels with the rotating top!

Trinia Tabb

Beautiful view, very limited food menu, no cocktail menu

Amy Hill

Wonderful service, delicious food and great views!

Justin Brummett

Quite sad. First time there and service was horrible. Super slow. Non apologetic management. View is nice of course but otherwise not going back.

D Clarkson

Meh. It was alright. My dinner companion (wife) made it 10 stars for me. Took 2hrs for 1 rotation but we was there 2 hours so that worked out good. Both of us had the prime rib, it was just ok. Crab cakes were awesome. Wait staff was good but understaffed. View was neat. Would do again.

Henry Dawson

Excellent meal fabulous service wonderful restaurant you have the opportunity enjoy the experience

Ashley Higgins

I've been wanting to come here for the longest, and it was well worth the wait. The service was great, the food outstanding. (Try the duck) And the view is the best in the city.

Dean Willaredt

Fantastic prime rib, so very tender and flavorful. Shrimp-cargot (prepared like escargot) was impressive. Very nice caprese salad. Very nice wine menu (I like the Decoy Cabernet Savignon). Service was excellent and the sunset views are amazing.

Austyn McCance

Per the review earlier, the “service fee” mentioned is automatic gratuity. We went for devour Indy, the food was ok- probably would have been upset had we paid the actual menu price, but it was discounted so I’d say their food was just eh, ok. They were quite obnoxious about moving our silverware around- it seemed like every time we moved something on the table, a waitress came around to “correct” us. I would most likely not eat there again as there are Other great places downtown to choose from.

The food and service was AMAZING! Our server Christina was very knowledgeable of the menu selection and recommended the best options according to our interest. It was my birthday dinner date with my husband and my first time coming here. Beautiful experience and wonderful staff. Wished I got a larger portion of good for the money.

Marketta Mitchell

Love this place!! Food Delicious

James Kreuz

The view is great but the staff is stingy and a bit rude. My friend and I came up for drinks and were told ‘No you can’t sit wherever you want. You can only choose from among this (very small) section because we are too busy.’ However the place was nearly empty! Very slow and not busy at all, most tables were empty. Also when we went to take 4 pictures of the capital view, we were scolded as if we were children! Even though we were paying customers with drinks in hand. Not cool.

Dino Argiropoulos

Nice food, excellent view

Alton Wilson

The Baked Brie is amazing and Kyle, the bartender's service was phenomenal. He made me feel at home, plus he makes a mean cocktail!

Doug Porter

For a fantastic experience with exquisite food and service that's out of this world, consider the Eagle's Nest!

Joshua Cole

The service was really good but thats its only redeeming quality. The food was either overcooked or super tough. The arugula was so bad that I spit it out onto my wife's plate. The view is kinda neat if you like looking at dirty rooftops.

Ann Jacoby

I was super excited to go up and do dessert and cocktails there after seeing Lion King tonight. Arrived at 9:40 PM...people at tables with food in sight and a waitress with fresh cocktails in hand walked by yet we were told kitchen is closed. Way to disappoint your hotel guests who were super excited to check it all afternoon.

J Y

Amazing food paired with amazing views of Indianapolis. Top of the line wait staff never leaves any stone unturned. Reservations are recommended for peak times and days but you can walk in. Business casual dress code.

This restaurant is definitely a must visit in Indy. The views are spectacular as the dining room rotates. The menu is a bit limited and on the pricey side but well worth it!

Kayleigh G

Enjoyed our dinner. The salted caramel bread was delicious and the signature prime rib was extremely tender. Enjoyed the view from the rotating rooftop. A fun novelty worth doing once.

Cindy Kealoha

We had a great time at this restaurant. The food was delicious. The view was beautiful. The service was great. Renae was very knowledgeable about the food and the area. She went above and beyond to help my friend and I capture a great picture of our time there and helped make our experience memorable.

Isaac Puff

This was my partners and I first time dinning here. It was his birthday and we wanted to try it. We will not return. The service was mediocre and the food was sub par. The server started by asking us what we "wanted to drink".. It felt like a diner. No suggestions, no menu review, just not what i would expect. My husband steak was undercooked, but the server never touched back so he got frustrated and just ate it. The only good thing was the drinks. This place needs a menu makeover and the staff need training. She didnt even tell him Happy Birthday after I put it in the reservation and said Happy Birthday to him right infront of her. The manager walked past our table but didnt stop. As we left he was sitting at the host stand. Im not suprised at the lack luster service, after seeing him sitting there. He didnt even make eye contact or thank us as we waited on elevator... he just looked at the ceiling. I served tables for 10 years and I couldnt believe how unimpressive this place was. They need to do something.. unless that are happy with 1 time guests. My coworker said the nest had went down hill..and she wasnt kiddn DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Patrick Oliverio

I was told to try this place out. Overall really good experience. The food was good, steak was cooked the way I asked, and the cheesecake for dessert was also very good. The mashed potatoes were also good. It's a bit on the expensive side, which I was told beforehand. They should take a little time to clean the windows, though, because they were a little dirty from hand prints and smears. Otherwise it was a pretty awesome view and good food! The waitress was very nice and helpful. Not the biggest food selection on the menu. They have a pretty good drink menu, though. Didn't take too long to get our food (probably 45 minutes or so) and we had an appetizer (the hummus which was awesome with the warm, grilled pita bread).

Mobolaji Ayotomiwa

Great city view. Food is on point too.

Karen Eddy

We've been there several times over the years, usually saving it for special events. Last time we paid over $300 with fewer people. It is pricey, but the quality & portions well worth it. We've had very friendly service & never felt rushed. HOWEVER, I called tonight only to discover they now have a voicemail system...not professional. Then when the woman called me back, she wanted my credit card number, since it was gor a party of 7, and I failed to call 48 hours on advance, as my card would be charged $25 per person. First I told her of course I'd call ahead to cancel, but was insulted with the idea of such an outlandish fee. There are plenty very nice, classy restaurants. I won't go anywhere I'm insulted.

Anita Cavanaugh

We had a wonderful time as we were able to have a nice intimate dinner to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary..the service and food was excellent!!

Garrett Dickerson

The view was great & I left full with leftovers. However, the food was not bad, but it wasn't great, especially for the price.

Michael Cunegin

Great location, wonderful food, perfect employees. I would tell anyone to visit this location.

Steven Foster

Awesome view and good service

Kyle Kent

We went here for a 2-year anniversary. Reservations through Open Table went smoothly. We got the escargots as an appetizer which was really tasty. We asked the waitress if she knew any restaurants that offered foi gras or liver pate, and she told us that we just missed the liver pate as a special. The chef then made it for us anyway! Really appreciative of that. We ordered the elk and the duck, both were excellent. We love the food and the view, so we'll certainly be back.

Laura & Ted SowinskI

The service and food was wonderful and we really enjoyed the view.

Kok Yuin Ong

Service was exceptional!

Melissa Bloom

Spectacular view, wonderful watching the city Rotate by... BUT the mashed potatoes are completely out of a Box no joke $45 Cut of state was asked to be medium rare but it was up noxiously pink still mooing had to be sent back TWICE absolutely not food savvy Service is worse but is worth the experience this is the only reason why this place is still spinning lol...

Dre Vaulx

Over priced food and hidden charges($43 service fee)for using devour menu instead of regular menu. The food was not good and waitress got upset that i sent food back. My salmon was raw and asked to recook and they just boxed it up and did nothing to fix it. The ventilation system seemed like it was pumping fresh farts throughout the night as well. The only highlight was the lady that refilled water and bread she was a delight so we tipped her. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

Ray

The food, atmosphere, and view is simply amazing! The staff left little to be desired, especially the gentleman that was standing at the hostess table, he was rude and arrogant.

Sui Tial

Amazing place .

Matt Detch

This is still, and probably always will be, one of my top 5 places to eat in Indy. However, I've noticed over the years the quality of the food itself has started to be below what it used to be. I've started going more for the scenic vistas, bc on a clear night, it's simply beautiful. Let's start with my Grey Goose bloody Mary. They have a fairly unique and tasty base they use. Lightly spicy, but with a citrus aftertaste that's pretty unique, for me anyway. I believe they were $18, with the up charge. I'd guess you get about ten oz of total liquid, give or take. If there was one oz of vodka in it, I'll eat my hat. Shrimp cocktail app. $16 for 4 fairly large shrimp in a martini glass. Now let me say I've never ordered this before, and I never order shrimp cocktail in downtown Indy bc it seems as tho there's a competition among restaurants to see who can burn the biggest hole into your sinuses with horseradish. But, I thought I'd give it a shot and it's no different. Five seconds of pain per each bite, AND it comes with an extra side of horseradish! Smdh They took duck off the menu, another reason I would go bc it's amazing. So I went with my other desire...16 oz Prime Rib, medium rare. It comes with their mashed potatoes, which have always been, and still are amazing. The other side is caramelized brussel sprouts which I didn't think I'd like so I asked to substitute for a truffle mac and cheese. "Sorry, no substitutions but I can 'add' a side of mac". Well duh...I'm fully aware you can add a side for $8. Oh just go ahead and it. Don't quote me but I believe the 16 oz Prime is $36, with the two sides. Now I've worked in the restaurant business for many years and I worked for a restaurant that used the absolute best grade beef ONLY for their prime rib. It was a thing of beauty and every piece of a med rare slice could almost be eaten with a spoon. To cut costs as years went by, they downgraded. Though it was still 'good' it wasn't excellent. Eagle's Nest is no exception. Although the rosemary based herb crust is still to die for, the meat itself is just 'good' not excellent. Again, the mashed potatoes are still great, and to my shock, the brussel sprouts were caramelized in a sort of bacon 'grease' and were quite good. Which was a good thing bc the mac and cheese, with its spiral pasta baked in an oversized ceramic bowl, left much to be desired. Since the last time I went, they've also changed the bread they bring out, but it was very very good. The server we had, seemed very stiff and robotic. If she said the word 'absolutely' one more time, I'd have screamed. And maybe they've started a new thing, but we only saw her one more time following her taking our order, and that was to ask about dessert, which I declined, and then immediately giving the bill. There were 'server assistants' that did absolutely everything else. Appetizer, bread, meals, water refills, clearing of plates, even inquiring about the enjoyment of the meal, never her. So look, I'm not rich. I come here, at the most, twice a year. I've learned to just roll with whatever bc I go to take my girlfriend to watch the sunset and then watch the city light up. It's truly beautiful each and every time. But what I will also say, ten years ago, more or less, I'd say I actually went for the food and that's simply no longer the case. I spent, with tip, $170 for the two of us. I sadly must say I am starting to rethink my trips here bc of that amount. It's becoming, simply, not worth it. If you're wanting incredible, and I mean INCREDIBLE foods, and possibly for the same amount, if not less, and all you can eat, head to Fogo da Chao which is my all time favorite restaurant in Indy for food. For atmosphere, along with crazy good drinks and food, Ricks Boatyard Cafe on the westside of Indy.

It is expensive but food is good. You pay for being in a revolving restaurant... which is excellent.

Samual Montgomery

Great food, awesome service and an amazing view.

Dan Horvath

The atmosphere is nice, after all it is a rotating restaurant with a great view. The food was just ok. Went for Devour Indy, I got the chicken breast, wife got prime rib. I thought the French onion soup and the mouse cake were the best parts. The entrees could use some improvement.

Miss Andrea Reads

This was our 2nd time here. We brought friends from out of town for a late dinner. I think we were the only table occupied. Our server Mon was friendly, prompt, and gracious. We started at sunset, which was beautiful. We didn't make it all the way around, and I'm sure we were there at least 90 minutes. The complimentary bread was so unique, very good. I wanted to order the bulgogi, but I don't care for shrimp, so the chef made it with NY strip instead. I haven't had such a wonderfully tasting meal in a while. So delicious. Thank you, Chef! Sorry for the dark-ish photo.

Mike Zimmer

Slowest and worst service I have ever received. Avoid if you want to eat in a timely manner.

Mandy Hite

My husband and I went for our anniversary, it was ok but I'm not sure we would go back. The steaks were both overcooked but still had great flavor, the asparagus and mashed potatoes were great! The bread was my favorite part haha. The view was great, the drink was not great (had the sangria) our waitress was very friendly.

Hattie Moore-bradley

Food was not warm enough for me I don't know if it came from the kitchen that way or was it our waiter?

John Hague

Great view, great food & service. Make a reservation. $$$.

Brian Neher

What can I say, absolutely amazing! Great food, great service and great views. Our server was very attentive and knew how to read the table, she knew that we were going to be there for awhile.

Prik 30

Excellent food with a beautiful 360 degree view of the city. Professional and very friendly staff that make every encounter personable.

Rodney Campbell

Definitely a place stop in indy.

L Warner

Our waitress seem a little distance as if she really didn't want to serve us now this was not our first choice we came here because the place we went the wait was too long. I feel she didn't come to our table enough we where just sitting for long periods of time waiting for water, appetizers and our main course! We visited 2/15

Kate Borg

Great food and fantastic view. Be prepared to spend a lot of money... but worth the experience.

Lauren Binns

Just got drinks but the service was friendly, great atmosphere

Brandon Lowell

Food was great. Scenery was great. Waiter was extremely inattentive, had to a long time to get a drink refill. When asking for the smaller glass of wine, the larger size was brought out and were charged for the larger size. Obviously, people at the table behind us were friends of the waiter. Their conversation was loud and of extremely crude nature. Nothing was done to improve the atmosphere. We had made reservations for a special occasion, and this ruined our dinner experience.

Great prime rib and cocktails. View can’t be beat either.

Kimberly Holt

Loved our dinner, the atmosphere was amazing and the view was to die for ♡

Rachel McFadden

The shrimp-cargo was amazing! Excellent service! We'll definitely return!

Rodney Turley

Obviously this place has an amazing view and over looks the city in every direction. From my understanding the speed at which this restaurant rotates is adjustable. We sat down down and were served for the entire 1.5-2 Hours as this restaurant completed it's rotation. Service was awesome and never stopped. I feel the only Improvement this restaurant should consider is portions. I understand overhead for a location like this is considerably higher than anywhere else you will go understandably so. If you are looking for a place to take a date for a romantic night, you should consider this restaurant.

Darnell Zanders

Slow service, bland food, and overpriced. I will not be going back.

Cassie Flynn

Everything we got was absolutely amazing! Meatballs for an appetizer, bread after we ordered dinner, I got the brown sugar pork chops which didn't quite taste like brown sugar but was still juicy and tasteful. My boyfriend got the sirloin and next time that's what I'm getting, super tender and juicy. Mashed potatoes are my fave! Renee is super friendly.

Laura VanArendonk Baugh

Overpriced (for both food and service) tourist trap. We arrived at 6 with a reservation and informed our server that we had a hard exit time, as we had to pick up our theater tickets by 7:30. We had plenty of time! but that's a common dining courtesy, and this would normally be when a server would inform diners of any potential recommendations ("this one comes out really fast, but you might not want to go with this other dish as it takes a bit longer") but ours just said sure, thanks for letting them know. Over an hour later our food had not arrived. Bread was delivered, but we had to flag someone down for additional drinks and butter. We were starting to get nervous about our tickets, which would be released to general sale if not picked up. When our dinners finally came, about 7:15, one of our party bolted through her meal and then rushed out to collect tickets. The rest of us ate (at a slightly less-ridiculous pace) our mediocre food. I'd ordered my steak medium rare, and it came medium well -- but no way was I going to ask for a replacement and miss eating entirely. My green vegetables were overcooked and limp. The horseradish potatoes were tasty, but that's a lot of money to get good potatoes. (My sister ordered the prime rib, which came more than half fat and with few vegetables. After a $60 meal she got a snack at the theater because she was hungry. That's not right. She's a petite actress who eats reasonable portions.) Now that we'd hit our hard exit time, we asked for checks. We could watch our server moving around and not going to print them. By 7:48, they still hadn't come. I pulled cash out to leave on the table and stood to go, putting on my jacket, and then she came to say checks were coming. My husband told me to go ahead and he'd pay. At 7:51 I left the restaurant, with them still waiting to pay. They did make the 8:00 show, only because the show started a few minutes late. I get that stuff happens in a kitchen and I'm pretty flexible -- but not once did anyone stop by the table to say things were moving a bit slow, I'll check on your order, can I get you a fresh water while you wait? Not once was there the slightest acknowledgment that we'd waited an hour for food and had definitely missed our exit time. The restaurant wasn't over-busy, it didn't have the look of missing staff that day, they just didn't check in or care. In a city known for steakhouses, there are much better options for the same price range.

Michaedl Freeland

Excellent dining experience. My waiter was attentive without hovering, and as knowledgable about the menu as he could have been given that he had only been there two weeks. The place was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. Food was well prepared, excellent prime rib, properly roasted brussel sprouts, way above-average espresso. The beer selection was all local craft beers, with nothing I'd ever had before, but I lucked out with a decent amber. Being a hotel showcase, there were no bargains here, $70 before tip, but the evening exceeded expectations.

Angela Happel

Went to Indy for software conference. Hit Eagles Next for drinks and and small plates. Staff was great despite not having reservations. Ahi was amazing as was wine selection and cheesecake! I don't think it was overpriced as some claim. You get what you pay for and as a current Charlotte resident, I was pleased to find this kind of fare right in my hotel. I will be back next time I am in Indy.

Allison

Excellent food and service
