Nice atmosphere and friendly staff! I had the beef on weck, which I was very excited for because I've only seen it served in the Buffalo NY area. It was pretty decent if a smidge disappointing buuuuut I really love beef on weck sandwiches so I'm a little bit picky. Great sweet potato fries and very reasonable prices!

We went for a private party in our own room so I don't have a lot to judge on,bur here's what I got... It has a pretty big public area, with a few private rooms also. The servers were on it, on a Friday around 7pm when all the private rooms and the actual bar were all packed. Huge selection of beer, in case you couldn't tell by the name. On the way out I saw apps being served, they all looked really good and they have free darts to play. That's all I got. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Will update if I return.

Great beer selection. Great variety of food. I ordered the dirty wings. They were great! I'm talking big meaty wings, a little spicy, great flavor. I also ordered a burger. Most times when I ask for a burger done medium it comes out well done, but not at district tap. The service was a little spotty. Once I got the server's attention, whatever I asked for was brought out quickly. We asked for an extra beer menu, but never received it. Some small issues, but the food was good and the beer was cold. We will probably return.

Loved sitting outside. Waitress seemed to forget about me. Sandwich got cold waiting for my roasted garlic mayo. When she brought it to me it was orange and spicy. I have had this sandwich a few times and I know mayo is white. But I was there for my lunch break and didn't want to wait again for the right stuff so I just ate it. Had to ask another waitress to send my waitress out so I could get my bill. I have been here a few times for lunch and service ia always a lite slow but today was slower. Considering it was just me I thought I could be in and out in under an hour. But I wasn't.

I attended a large private function at the Tap. They did not have enough seating for the size of our group, but most people seemed to prefer standing anyway. There was a large spread of appetizers for food and all were very good. Servers and bartenders were plentiful and very accommodating. Our organizers tried to have a brief program, but the noise level was high and the rooms did not have working sound systems.

Had late dinner here last Friday. Staff were awesome and never wanted for anything. Food was to notch and they have a lot of choices. Speaking of choices, they have so many beers on the menu it was really hard to decide. The waitress was very informed and helped me make my choice which was perfect. Definitely will be back.

One of the BEST restaurants ive ever been too. Amazing food and I can't wait to go back. My friend had a food allergy snd they took it very serious. The cook even came out to ask her a question. Also had an awesome band, Stella Luna and the Satellites when we were there snd we listened on patio. It was amazing!!

At a large business dinner I order from a small menu the salmon with mashed potatoes, veggies, and the carrot cake was very good. The building had a large sports bar feel to it with some TVs where we sat at bar high tables with high back chairs. The other side of the building had a large open wall to a nice patio.

I am visiting from out of town and came here part of a work event. Being vegan I an always prepared to go hungry, but I was pleasantly surprised by the options available here. They even have the impossible burger, which was delicious. The game room was fun, and I enjoyed doing the beer flights, and sampling many of the local flavors of beer. Overall a nice experience m, good food m, accommodating staff. I would come here again if back in town.

Good food, reasonably priced, and well stocked beer menu from local Indiana Craft Beers. Liked the updated look, and plenty of room to get a table or drinks. Favorite dish was the Mac and cheese- seems to be their signature item. Had pulled pork in it. Delicious!

The food was served fresh and hot. The service was great. The server was stretched kind of thin. With that being said, the server was very attentive and was always at the table whenever we needed something. We never had to flag her down for anything. The check was delivered in a timely manner. Over all a very good experience with great food and cold beer.

Great place for some bar food and a beer. Great beer selection, a lot of draft beer. I had the chicken tacos and they were pretty tasteful. A little to much salad and not enough chicken but overall pretty good for $10 ( tacos are the special on Tuesday).

This place has fantastic food, drinks, and music. My favorite menu options are actually the appetizers. Their sriracha buffalo tots are absolutely killer (And despite my several attempts in my own kitchen, I can't quite match how creamy and flavorful their sauce is). I also love their fried pickles. As far as main dishes, I always get something different, and I've never been disappointed.

We had an event catered in their group room. The space was really nice, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It's not the easiest place to spot from the road, though, so you probably won't end up there unless you try. But you probably should.

The food and beer selection is good. We were quoted a forty-five minute wait. After an hour of waiting, and multiple groups being seated that came in behind us, we asked the hostess for our status. They never put us on the list to be seated. We were walked into the seating area and passed six open tables. We weren't compensated in any way, and the staff seemed annoyed at the situation. What horrible customer service. There are plenty of places to eat in Castleton. Choose somewhere else.

Came here for a private catered event. The staff was very good at keeping the food stocked and tables cleared of empty cups and plates. Lots of beer options in addition to the full bar. I thought the food was good, however I'm not sure how it compares to their dine in menu. They offered club sandwiches, shrimp cocktail, veggies, pulled pork sandwiches, and wings. As I said, food stayed stocked and warm. Staff was very efficient.

I had a great time at The District Tap. Went there for a surprise birthday party so we had about 40 people all together on one of the back party rooms. Staff was quick and friendly throughout the entire party. Food was good (the guacamole and salsa are fantastic starters). They had. A good selection of beer as well. I would definitely recommend especially for someone looking to have a party.

Tv’s abound..Sports bar/woodland/Industrial/Patio feel. Plenty of draft options. Not sure what food they’re known for (neither was my server) but I had the Monday night special (Philly Cheese Steak) and it was good.

The waitress we had was named Rachel. I wish all waitresses were like this, not her fault but are fried pickles came out a little late and she had the manager take them off our bill. That is the way you treat people great job Rachel keep up the good work will be back and sit in your section. The pickles were great. Dirty wings were great.

Great restaurant! Wonderful vibe! I had a chance to visit this restaurant while I was in Indy on business. I thought the food was good - I had chicken and waffles. When we visited it was trivia night and we stayed for a short while to play. My only wish is that they had more healthy choices. Regardless, I would plan to visit again.

Good food and drinks. I have to commend the server as she was the only one there at the time and yet she managed to serve the whole place while keeping a smile on her face. Most people would have crumbled or been a bit testy but she did a wonderful job.

Not a bad place at all. Menu was definitely different in many was. Huge draft selection to choose from! Staff was pleasant but a bit on the slow side. It was right at dinner time and there alot of business people in there so the atmosphere was great and upbeat. There is a large outdoor patio to sit as well. And yes, kids are welcome!

Known as the short pour expensive drink pour. A sure way to deter repeat clients. So so frustrating to pay for a drink to find a micro pour. All, 2 inches of drink pour is NOT going to break you. Simply pour a fair drink so as to increase ur attendance as u become a good pour vs. A micro drink bar BAD pour drink bar

Had the super food spinach salad. We were in a party of 11, which is much different now than it was when I used to wait tables way back before computers and food runners and expeditors and so on. My point is to preface my commentary on our server. I didn't observe that our server was in the weeds or overwhelmed, and there were a number of opportunities for good face-to-face interaction between myself and our server. I am (as most "restaurant. veterans" are) deliberately interactive and polite with all restaurant staff when I dine out, unless they invite a different level of behavior. For some reason, I was somewhat invisible to our server, so a portion of the gratuity for me was similarly lacking. Food all around looked good, service gets a C+, and the strategically loud music being played was as usual annoying as it is in all restaurants that do that.

Great spot to grab beers and a decent pub style meal. Can be crowded, lots of private events and many games on when we were there so plan for that eventuality. Beer selection pretty decent, food was good. Dirty wings are a must order, we went through three plates between 4 people. We will be back next time in Indy.

I really wanted to like this place, as I had heard good things! The firecracker shrimp was a great start, but then I got the burger with jalapenos of which I forget the name. I ordered it medium-well, the server must have thought I said medium-rare because it was tough...even my friend with me who likes burgers on the rare side thought it was a bit much. But, I've learned from the past not to send items back. The sweet potato fry portion was also very small. And the food took like 30 minutes to come out, though they did have a very large private party I think.

Really great service. The ad doesn't lie- they do have damn good food. We got the fried pickles with a horseradish dip my husband loved, I got the impossible tacos and my husband got the French dip. All of it was delicious. My husband did say that it could have been a little bigger. The tacos (and many other items on their menu) were vegetarian. Prices were about what we would expect- $10 or so for burgers, $5-$10 for apps. We were able to sample a few beers before deciding on a Traveler Aloha and a TinMan Apricot Sour. The beer menu is impressive both in size and the fact that many of the beers were local to Indiana. All in all a great dining experience and a place we will definitely come back to when we are in Indy.

Really good spot to relax, get a drink, and have some good food. Beer selection is top 10 in the city. Menu has a great selection of that's just a little bit different then you would expect. Example: the piggy mac mac n cheese. Word of warning: this place gets very busy on the weekends. Standout food item: Dirty style wings.
