As you know, we do not usually bother to set tatings when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Thai restaurant.
The lunch menu is mediocre. It tastes like they just put it together to get it over with and have no consideration for taste but it looks wonderful. The waitress was a little rude but I think it was because she it wasn't able to express yourself correctly
We love Thai food and this is one of the best around me and my wife go here all the time.
Different than your typical Thai joint. Not sure if it's more authentic, or less... but Thai Cafe in Broadripple is omfg amazing all the way around.
We love the food. The waitresses go above and beyond to make sure you like your food!
Great lunch menu. Food was awesome. Service was a bit slow.
Bad service! They took my dishes away while I was still eating. And don’t order panan sea food which they make way too sweet.
Thai Kitchen has amazing food. Had the red curry, today, with tofu. It was amazing.
First time and definitely won't be my last... outstanding
Excellent food. Polite and helpful staff
Enjoyed my curry chicken and the spring rolls. Was disappointed my server forgot our Cokes and didn't see her at our table until after our meals arrived so we didn't bother asking for them. No wait on a weekend night that we went!
Food was awesome and the service felt like home, I highly recommend.
My favorite lunch spot!!
I like this place... Solid, authentic. They don't tone it down when you ask for the heat, which I very much appreciate. Decently price and good lunch specials. Make note, they do close between dinner and lunch.
I was promptly greeted upon my entrance. I ordered crav rangoon, thai sweet tea and duck curry. My food came out quickly. EVERYTHING was deeeeeelish! I could drink the duck curry juice just by itself. My nose was running from the curry, which was medium, but that was nothing compared to the taste.
The green curry is top-notch, and the price is pretty standard. Huge portions and quick service, too!
The food and service were good.
This place was great! It was our first time to eat at Thai Kitchen. We have eaten at four or five others in town, but this is now our fav. The menu is very similar to all the other Thai places, but Thai Kitchen has an insert for their menu offering many dishes we have never seen at the other places. We both got green curry dishes and they were fantastic. A lot of soft shell crab curry for only 15$. BTW when you ask for "hot" you will get actual HOT. It will not be some "hot" in the middle of an arbitrary scale. Enjoy!
$$. Thai Kitchen Restaurant is a highly refined, very authentic and traditional Thai restaurant that delivers fantastic food and highly enjoyable dining experience with their great service. They offer a decent size lunch menu with 18 choices, very large dinner menu, with an amazing selection of appetizers and really good soups and salads. Their entrées represents a truly impressive range of Thai cuisine, in addition to the absolutely amazing chef specials including, for example, soft-shell crab curry, roasted duck curry, eggplant delight, mango curry, Panang seafood hot pot, and Bangkok seafood.
Beautiful presentation, ample portions, reasonably priced. The only beef I have with them is that their spicing tends to run a bit on the hot side. My mouth is still tingling.
Friendly environment, with tasty dishes.
The food was good and the waiters were accommodating with my special requests. The waters could have used more leadership when trying to pay the bill and they were a little slow
Small, cozy, with nice decor. A little slow but definitely worth it. I was asked if I needed a thing by at least 3 different people. The food was wonderful. Very good flavor profiles. I had the volcano chicken and curry duck along with crab Rangoon and lemongrass soup....oh and ginger tea. I was asked what temp so I got hot. And it was spicy but not overly hot. This place is a keeper! I will be back soon cause the menu has a to of options!
Great atmosphere. The food came out fast. The food was authentic and tasted great. Portions are large for what you pay. Highly recommended. ..
Went here for lunch. It was pretty good Americanized Thai food. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered my dish (Pad Thai) medium spicy since I didn't know how they usually spice food, and it was absolutely not hot at all. If you like spicy Thai and eat here, be sure to go hot or more.
Really good food
Amazing Thai food and a great variety. My husband and I go every other Friday. Love my Thai Fridays!
Great thai!
Yellow curry on point, the calamari was hard and tasted dry.
This has our fav wait staff and food. Always get great service.
The decor of this place is not what you would expect. There are dark table cloths and red booths. Jazz music on the background. Very unexpected surprise for a strip mall place. The food is very good and fresh. I really like their elephant garlic and pepper dish. I have not seen it on any other menu in town.
This is one my favorite local restaurants. I've been going here for a couple of years and the atmosphere is is cozy and relaxing. The food is always amazing and the staff is always very accommodating and friendly. There are so many great dishes on the menu it is always difficult for me to decide what to get. Give the place a try it is a perfect spot for a romantic date night.
2 experiences....both really bad. Won't go back. 1st time was carry out. Employees were rude, short with me. Food only average. They made me feel like I was a major inconvenience. I have it a second chance thinking maybe I caught someone on a bad day. Went back 2 months later to dine in and 2 out of 3 people were extremely rude. 1 lady was actually nice (only reason 2 stars Intead of 1). Unfortunately, food was less than average ..a shame because they are so close to home and Thai is our favorite.
Best Thai I’ve found in the Indy area. My wife and I had the shrimp salad rolls (peanut sauce is fantastic), chicken larb (excellent), and Hawaii fried rice (I think this is their signature dish - comes in a halved pineapple). Good service but under staffed so it will be a bit slow. Regardless, 5 stars for the food.
My favorite dish there is Panang Seafood! It has this special taste of lime leaf that thai kitchen is famous for!!! Love it!
I love this place for lunch! So cheap for the amount of food you get. And it's all delicious.
Thai Kitchen Restaurant might actually be our best place to eat out as a family. Our girls both love the pineapple rice and my husband and I can always find something we want to try. Everything we've ordered has been good. The have boosters and high chairs and an outside seating area. They also have carry out.
The pad Thai with tofu is my favorite!
Yeah have to try the crab fried rice it's awesome
Great food, nice staff, Its clean but prices are high.
Absolutely love!
Very good food
My favorite restaurant in fishers and favorite Thai place hands down
Very good Thai food!
My favorite Thai place. Yum
Unbelievably rude. We made reservation for 7 but showed up with 12 people. It was very early dinner time. The restaurant was almost empty, just one table had customers, so there should be no problem to arrange seats for us. However, the fat woman (owner or head waitress?) was not happy, simply because we had more people showing up than previously reserved. The place was so tiny that we had to sit at two tables. The fat women murmured "this is stupid" while setting up tables for us, in front of our children (they told us after we left). When the kids wanted to switch table with adults so that they could have their own corner, the fat woman threw the menu to the table and walked away. Other than the fat woman, the other waitress seemed to be reasonable and nice. They smiled to us all the time. However, we had seen and heard enough from the fat woman. We could not stay a minute longer and would never come again. Later we walked to the Korean restaurant next door. We were treated like Kings and Queens.
It’s a decent Thai restaurant in Hamilton County. Spacious, good food decent service. Cleanliness might be an issue. I found hair and fly in food on two occasions. I have been to this place at least 100 times though. You can walk in without reservation but on weekends , it gets busy. I like warm Sake , it’s soothing and pretty strong. Singha beer is good too. Chicken Volcano is fried but it’s tasty. It’s on spicy side but you can request to make it mild if you don’t like hot. They don’t have potsticker which is very common at other Thai restaurant. Also spice tray lacks all the spices that Thai Reataurant’s are known for. I have been to fancier better and more authentic Thai places.
I ordered the Pad Thai.... And i kid you not... It was so delicious! So much flavour! My husband ordered the Red Curry with Pork, and after the first bite he couldn't stop telling me how amazing it was. I'd come here again and bring guests and family from out of town Great job guys!
One of the best Thai foods I have eaten and I eat a lot of Thai. Don't forget to get the lemongrass soup hot and spicy.
Indy's best Thai food, hands down.
Best Thai food on the north side of Indy
I am disappointed to say the least. I found the Tiger Garlic and Pepper (Pad Kratiem) to be uninteresting, non-flavorful, and certainly not what I would expect from a Thai restaurant. Thai cuisine is known for primarily valuing 2 things: intense/interesting flavor and color presentation. This preparation valued neither of these things. It reminded me of something one would get at Panda Express. Non-flavorful slices of beef soaking in water. Yup, water. Oh, there were some vegetables in there. Here's the grossest part: iceberg lettuce. Have you ever seen chopped iceberg lettuce floating in a "broth"? Yup, it's as gross as it sounds. I honestly don't know what they were thinking sending this out. I paid $12 for this and in retrospect I wouldn't have ordered it if they paid me to. And regarding Fish Sauce...if they are actually using Fish Sauce to cook with (which I could not perceive in my dish), then they are buying the lowest quality, 4th or 5th pass version on the market. They did send a little baby container of some liquid along with my meal. If it was Fish sauce...yikes. The most disappointing aspect of my meal was actually what I would think would be the easiest to get right...the heat (spice) level. I set out today with the goal of torturing myself with some super spicy food, and naturally Thai comes to mind. I am accustomed to Thai restaurants offering mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and Thai hot. I have a high tolerance for heat. Usually, 'extra hot' is pretty intense at Thai restaurants. Today I asked for "Thai hot". I'm not exaggerating when I say that the spice level my food was mild to (maybe) medium. I thought "they must be joking". I called to ask, and they said that's "how hot Thai hot is here". What? Then why don't they just offer mild, medium, and hot? Why even claim to offer Thai hot. YOUR FOOD IS NOT SPICY. I'm willing to assume that I just happened to order the worst dish on the menu. Some of the pictures on the Google Business listing look amazing, so I'm honestly not sure what their deal is. Here's what I would recommend if you're going to try this place: Try your dish and if it's not what you were expecting, receive a refund. And if you're looking for a certain spice level, when you're food arrives (especially if it's take-out) taste it. If it's not the spice level you asked for then ask for a refund. Refunds motivate change.
LOVE this place. The pad Thai is amazing!!
From the appetizers to the entrees, what we ordered today are all very delicious. That's very surprising! Even their seafood is very fresh. Recommend for everyone to be here and give them a try.
You cannot get a bad meal here. Food is great, service is great.
We have enjoyed Thai Kitchen for many years. We have found a variety of dishes to our liking, always with the measure of spice we request. Lunch specials are a nice deal, with soup, spring roll and rice accompanying the main dish (other than Pad Thai, of course, which is rice noodles). Decor is upscale and tasteful, with great music in the background (Sinatra and the like). Highly recommend!
It was a Korean restaurant, service and food were excellent, will be returning soon.
Best clean traditional Thai.
Great food and atmosphere. We go at least once a week!
Good place with nice food
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere and the best service I've ever gotten in Indianapolis! What did I order? Crab Rangoon and Chicken Pad Thai. The Crab Rangoon wasn't what I'm used to, it was full of awesomely different tastes and textures with a mildly sweet and spicy dipping sauce. The Chicken Pad Thai was cooked to perfection, super spicy (because I asked for it that way) with (I think) peanut crumbles on top and a cute carrot carved into a flower (yup... I ate it, don't judge me...) All in all? I think I could die happy now.
Used to love this place. Wish I could leave 0 stars. Never have I been more poorly treated by a restaurant in my life. I ordered a Thai Fried Rice with Chicken for carry out. I got home and I received a Pad Thai with Chicken. I called to ask for a refund and the cashier argued with me. Literally argued with me saying that they repeated the order and I confirmed. I kept asking for a refund and finally she refunded me. She then ended it with saying that i shouldn't confine the order. I don't recall the order being repeated in that way, but regardless if what I ordered was given to my incorrectly, I shouldn't have to be told that I was in the wrong. Never have had customer service like that before and will not be back.
Great Thai tea. We had the papaya salad, Tom yum soup, taste of tilapia, and puket seafood. Everything tasted great.
Most visits have been excellent, their Pawn this one food quantity and quality or lacking. The service was absolutely the worst? I wish I wouldn't have had to pay for the food, but at least I had the option of not tipping. And I'm normally a very good Tipper.
Had tofu Tom yum soup and tofu green curry and both were excellent. I highly recommend the Tom yum. I was shocked to find some of the best Thai food in the Indy area in Fishers.
Great place, I'd highly recommend! We visited for the first time for lunch today and it was delicious. The lunch specials come with a small bowl of soup, small salad and a spring roll. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken, mild spice, and it wasn't the least bit spicy, so I will probably opt for medium next time. The patio was nice, shaded and relaxing and the service was good, too, even though they were quite busy.
I would have given them a 5 start... they don't support the troops!
Please try the papaya salad, Thai hot, if you dare! It's refreshing and light
Hands down the best orange chicken I've ever eaten. I was literally surprised by how delicious it was. If you decide to eat here make sure you try it. Get whatever dish you like but for the love of all that is holy try the orange chicken as well.
Food and service were good not a wait to be seated on Wednesday early evening.
Great for lunch.
Their Thai tea is amazing. Prices are a bit high but the portion size is good.
The food is always great
We eat here often. The food is excellent, staff is friendly and ambiance is good.
Best pad Thai I've had outside of Chicago.
My wife and I love Thai food, but we’re disappointed with our take out order of red curry and pad thai this evening. The price was on par with other Thai places in the area, but the portion sizes were upsetting and arguably smaller than or the size of lunch orders. You may get a more honest or better portion going inside, but we’ve had better luck at Thai Orchid on 82nd or Thai O’Cha on 141st with take out orders. We will not be going back.
Best Thai food you'll find! Owners are awesome genuine people!
Great space good food 8/10
Excellent place for Thai food. Service is quick and I've never had to wait long to be seated.
Had the drunken noodles lunch special with a Thai tea. The eggroll, salad and soup that come with it were nothing special however the drunken noodles were good and nicely seasoned and my tea was yummy. The paper flower was a nice touch. Recommend it.
Hospitality was great amazing restaurant definitely will go back
Atmosphere is always welcoming, the staff is friendly and helpful and the food is plentiful and tastes amazing. Plus, the price is very reasonable. Great place, would definitely recommend.
Quite possibly the greatest Thai establishment in the greater Indianapolis area. The staff are friendly, the ambiance is welcoming, and the meals are amazing. I really enjoy each and every visit to the Thai Kitchen, and I highly recommend everyone stop in if even for the wonderful scents.
Volcano chicken is amazing.
My favorite Thai restaurant to date! Great food, friendly staff and a slightly romantic vibe.
The food is amazing and the iced green tea is just as I remember it in Thailand.
Amazing food and great service. Recommended.
Such goodness! We arent from the area but we've been back 3 times and is a must stop now whenever we are nearby!
Very good Thai food that doesn't skimp on spices like some restaurants will do. The prices are average for Thai restaurants with entrees being $10-$15 each. The appetizers are where they get you though as most are $8 for a somewhat small portion compared to other (Thai & Vietnamese) restaurants around the city that can be had for less money. Overall, one of the better Thai restaurants in the Indianapolis area.
Clean foods good taste
Very tasty food. Great atmosphere. Good place to get your Thai fix.
My favorite Thai place! Great for client lunches or date night. My go to is the Chicken Pad Thai and love the spring rolls. I have accidentally eaten a whole order before making it home. Lunch here is the best because you get a soup, side salad, and spring roll with your meal.
Delicious food. I work across the street and it's dangerous! Dinner portions are generous. Very tasty. Seating probably needs to be expanded based on what I've seen during lunch rush hour!
Food was good but service was very slow.
Great food! Nice atmosphere. Loved
Wife love it, think it pretty good too.
Best Thai food in the Indy metro
Very nice food. Coconut soup is one of the best thai soup I had till date. Good chicken fried rice
Yet another wonderful experience dining here today. Asked for the chef's special "Roasted Duck Curry" . Food was just mind blowing. Staffs were very friendly. Had a wonderful peaceful Dinner with family on a Saturday night. Thai Kitchen people - keep up doing a good work and serving excellent food as always !
Nasty food. Noodles pasty not light and airy.
Great food and great time.
Delicious food, great lunch value with soup, salad and your dish of choice with a roll. Super friendly service!! I will be back
great food... quick service... busy restaurant.
We are from Muncie, IN and husband was injured at work and was sent to Indy, Fishers for care. The trips we took, which were many, we decided to try this Thai Restaurant. We made our trips enjoyable by stopping here every time. The food is EXCELLENT! Best Pud Thai! Now we will make the trip there just to enjoy their food.. :-)
I am never gonna turn down Thai. I'm not the most discriminating eater, but this is tasty! I got a basil green bean dish & eating partner got pineapple fried rice. Both were very good. I have other favorites in Indy, but Thai kitchen is solid. Packed, but still good service.
Good food. Spring roll a little thin and greasy.
One large plate of pad Thai.. steaming hot and very filling.. this is going to be my new Thai place.. must check it out and wasn't crazy busy.
My boyfriend and I always try to dine at different restaurants that we have never tried before. I must say I was very nervous about this place, but when we walked in it was magnificent. It transports you to another world, I no longer felt as if I was in Fishers, IN anymore! The staff was very wonderful and friendly and the food was well priced for the content and for how delicious it was! I have to say I was very very impressed my boyfriend and I will be going back very soon! If you have not eaten here before you sure need too!
Fabulous food and friendly service!
The curry here is amazing. I am constantly craving it.
Great good. Lived the Thai tea.
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Ordered Green curry Thai hot. It was spicy and you could taste the fresh Thai chilies in the sauce, a definite plus, my face blushed a little but if you like eye watering hot you might want to ask for extra Thai or something. Slight smoked in tobbaco smell to the room(there is a tobbaco shop next door and I suspect that's the culprit) but it did not negatively effect my experience.
Excellent food fresh made to order w any true spice rating
Great food. Spice levels and food felt very authentic. Will return soon.
Never had a bad meal or experience. Absolutely love this place
Just your normal Thai restaurant. The curry was great but the appetizer plate was a bit disappointing compared to the price. All in all, Thai Kitchen Restaurant is a good place for Thai eats.
Great tasty food. Bit pricey for Asian food.. Good wines. Nice ambience of the place.
Wonderful pad see ew and soft shell crab green curry! The portions were huge, food was delicious, and prices were below average for thai of this quality in the area. Would highly recommend
Good food
Best Thai we've found. Wide selection of food, beer & wine. Great service. If you know Thai Orchid on 82nd, this place is similar - but you'll want to order less spicy than you do at the Orchid. Orchid's "hot" is the Kitchen's "medium." The Kitchen offers hotter and tastier.
Agree with other reviewers. Very good food and service, nicely decorated, no complaints. We had riast duck curry and Thai fried rice. Both were excellent. My wife rated the duck a 10. Unheard of!
One of my all time favorite Thai restaurants. Love the food, atmosphere, and the super nice staff!
My favorite Thai in the city
While this place is expensive, it is totally worth it! Food is very authentic, and is not dripping with briefs like Thai restaurants sometimes too. It is far, far above average for a Thai restaurant and for Fishers. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Great food very clean fast service
As always great food
Very good ... First visit and will be back!
I only order Pad Thai, no meat or extras, on my first visit to get a base feel for the restaurant. The Pad Thai WAS FABULOUS!!! The Spring Rolls we're excellent. I recommend Thai Kitchen for anyone who loves or wants to love Thai cuisine.
Our favorite thai place. Try something different each time and always enjoy. Great atmosphere with friendly service. Highly recommend.
Our go-to Thai place... spiciness level is sometimes not as spicy as we ask for, but I suppose most Midwest palates can't handle it, so they tone it down or something. Either way, you get what you pay for with this gem. Always very tasty and generous portions. Always friendly and prompt service, as well.
Move from California, can't find any good Thai foods around here till this one. Love this place!
We waited for less than 10 minutes for our food! The staff was friendly. The food was good, but there are definitely better Thai restaurants out there
Looked nice from the outside but they only have beer and wine so went someplace that had real drinks.
Tasty Thai food. fast, friendly service.
Great Thai restaurant priced about right. Fast, friendly service too! I had the Drunken Noodles and got just what I expected based on the multitude of Thai Restaurants I've tried. That is to say great food without the " What is this?" that you sometimes get elsewhere.
Had amazing food. Nice service. Really cool decor and comfy seating.
The restaurant is very clean and surrounds one with organic decor and beautiful lighting. The lunch food is very fresh and tasted great. I ordered medium heat and it was just right for a whimp like me. Just a little kick. Servers pretty busy but our food was at table quickly. Great place to talk. Not LOUD...
Thai kitchen is probably some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The spicy basil salmon was incredible and the atmosphere is so cute. Our waitress was amazingly attentive and very sweet. We will absolutely be returning.
