This Restaurant is included in the category of Indian restaurant.
Decided to try this place and suggestions of other reviews. I ordered the lamb naan which with tikka masala. The tikka masala on the sandwich had a light taste and flavor. The meat was not as supple as I have had in restaurants which made it hard to chew. When mixed with the mint cilantro and spicy mango chutney, the sandwich was very flavorful. The portions are definitely good.
This is not authentic or good please see India Sizzling in Fishers for authentic Indian food, this taste like money is the main goal
There were multiple files around the food which was a red flag. Also the employee that was waiting on me was quite rude.
Fantastic spot for lunch, lots of vegetarian options, and just the right amount of spice.
We have there Muslim food
Worst food in the name of Indian cuisine, biryani is worst of the worst. Biryani rice is broken, worst taste, chicken pieces are mixed with some colored rice to name it as biryani.. Anyone who know an authentic biryani will not buy this even for 0.5$ price. Never again to this restaurant. This is not at all Indian restaurant..... using name to get business running ....
Not open yet
Food taste was not good
Great flavors and value for the price! Plus...an Indian Pizza? Awwwww yeah!
Great vegetarian and vegan options but seasoned with the taste of India!! Awesome place...warm people.
For the first time had samosa chaat, which had a very tasty chicken filling inside, they served it with curd and tamarind sauce. Their berry lassi is a must try drink
Not many of these in Indy...family owned and operated. Go support your fellow man #resist #lebron
Good, fast Indian food. Friendly staff.
Food was a really interesting take on Indian cuisine. I typically frequent India Garden but decided to switch things up since this was a more "fast food" style of restaurant and I was a bit crunched for time. Food was great and the people were friendly. Sort of like chipotle but for Indian cuisine
Not restaurant quality... Rather a rookie cooking
Amazing food! I've been looking for a nice over the counter Indian restaurant and have now found one! All the flavors were fantastic and the owner was super friendly! This was their first day here and everything was just great!
Food looked pretty good, but the guy behind the counter was very rude. So i left without ordering anything, and will not be back.
Nice place. Staffs were very helpful. Food was good and inexpensive.
Nice ambience but not authentic food at all.
Sweet curry, absolutely not a punjabi authentic food place. Good for few food flings.
Super nice and great food!
Amazing authentic Indian food with great service and a fun ambience!
Great place! Food and staff amazing
Wow. Just. Wow. Amazing food. Great service. Clean eatery. Hope this place is successful so they can come up to the carmel area! Good luck guys! You’ll be seeing more of me for sure!
So yummy. Really surprised this small place packs so much punch in their food.
My wife loved the pizza naans, rice bowl, and naanwich. The was great but grub hub was terrible
Taste was ok while I was eating there. But its stale food (chicken). I still feel that effect after 5 hours. I do not recommend eating non veg/chicken at this restaurant.
Simple, but modern ambience. warm hospitality. fresh, tasty food. definitely a place for both indans and non-indians. Cuisine with a personal definition. a kitchen flavored with passion.
Nicely done.
Chipotle version of Indian food. Friendly staff. Good food. The best part was that the curries taste was as Indian food should taste. No tone down in spices or flavor. Great place to get a quick bite.
Interesting concept for an Indian restaurant. We tried the rice bowls, naanwich, and Samosa Chaat (which is a "side" but really a full meal in itself). You can chose between protein (chicken, lamb, paneer, chick peas, shrimp), then what curry sauce you want that protein in (tikka masala, saag, etc), and then veggie toppies and sauces like you'd have at Subway. So there's plenty of vegetarian options as well as halal meat. Personally, flavor wise I didn't think the food was THAT great-- definitely was expecting more flavor in the chicken. But the concept is nice and service was really great. It'd be nice if they added like taco/burritos with the same South Asian filling and had spice toppings available on the tables (Chaat masala? Hot sauce?).
I was in for dinner last week and staff had a horrible attitude and responded rudely when i asked questions about the menu. It was my first time coming and i probably wont be back. the chicken looked dry and seemed to be days old so i asked to see the lamb and it was sitting in a pool of oily water.. went with a chickpea rice bowl and the taste wasnt horrible but definetely not up to par with any other indian food ive tried also didnt look very clean
Amazing food ,great decor and exceptional chai
The customer service is terrible. The woman with the dark hair pulled in a bun gave me a nasty attitude when I asked about the menu, rushed me through my order, rolled her eyes when I decided to order biryani and was all around incredibly rude when all I did was ask her questions about the menu. I do not recommend eating here until there is better customer service.
Good and fast.
I went in with no pre-notions but, it was everything I expected and more!!! Everything I had was full of flavor, great portion size, quick, great customer service! My new fav spot in town!
Great idea for Indian food. But food little too spicy. Need tone it down a little
Indian flavors in a fast food style! Food was very good and the person making our food was knowledgeable and helpful. Also the men's restroom has a baby changing station!
This place is amazing, staff is very knowledgeable about what is in the food and offer samples to taste. The restaurant is clean!! Always recommend.
Tasty food
Good varieties of Indian food with some modern touch
They serve frozen samosas which are bland. PS (after owner's reply): I am pretty sure it had the same taste as the frozen ones that I get at Indian store and it also didn't taste fresh. Upon asking the guy at counter, he looked baffled and didn't know how to answer or what to answer which confirmed my suspicions. But still as owner suggests I can try again. No offense here to anyone but I want to be honest of what I experienced in my reviews irrespective of the place. Thanks for the response
The food tastes good, reminded me of Brick Lane in London, and the inside was decorated in a very unique way. The service was lacking and the food didn’t look great in the line to order. Hopefully my next trip is a little better, I will definitely be returning. Random gripe, the soft drink cups are small.
The food was somewhat cold, but the naan was hot and flavorless. It was like eating white flour.
I like lamb masala with Madras curry. It's delicious. Must try
I went in for an interview and now I have a job. Super Glad,
Amazing food .. must visit...worth for money you pay...
Delicious Indian food!!
Wow....Excellent food! The rice bowl is like Indian chipotle. The pizza was delicious and mango lassi was superb. Our family is addicted! This will be our new favorite spot to eat. Also, glad there were plenty of vegetarian and no onion/garlic options for our family.
Great place to try out some new Indian food.
Excellent service and food.
Just ok food, it's better to go eat Chipotle
Best halal food restaurants in Indianapolis, Everything is delicious. Food was fantastic, excellent service.
Great
Good selection and great portion. Simple food mix and match concept
First time eating here, I had the Tandoori Chicken Naanwich. I will definitely will be back. Food was great, staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions.
Nice place & friendly staff. Loved their food a must try Indian place.
Tried this place twice. Food just isn’t that great.
Great Concept! , moreover, executed very well!. Food was great, Naan pizza was slightly burnt, but tasted very good! Would love to visit more often, however a bit too far. Look forward to more locations (Carmel).
Long family tradition of business experience & hosting makes Garg Family bring to this place a great management, details to each dish & atmost customer satisfaction... absolute got to go place
Not what I expected at all. It's like Chipotle and a really odd cafeteria.
Place was dirty, flies were around the food... poor customer service... I WOULD NOT recommend!
The food is fabulous and the staff are so friendly..this is a new go to for food lovi g how close it is.
Nice meal, beautiful ambiance and very friendly waiter (the black girl). I will definitely come back because of her.
Wonderful flavors!
The food was delicious and management was really nice.
Recently went to this place for a small get together, this Indian outlet is a must visit, we took naan pizzas, rice bowls and naanwich which they said are their speciality. And really all these dishes were unique and very tasty.
I like the ambience and food, both. I ordered Naan Pizza with Paneer and it was really good. They also have variety with toppings and chutneys. It’s worth the money.
Very good food with friendly service.
Super friendly family owned eatery! It is almost like a Qdoba style setting in getting your food, so you get all the things you like! Well priced, and super healthy! Chai and lassi is to die for on a hot day!
Really good Indian food, Chipotle style. Very flavorful, rich and aromatic. The ambiance is good, with seating in 'auto-rickshaw' style seats. Pricing is pretty reasonable, and the food is definitely value for the money. They have both vegan and vegetarian options, a must-go for anyone in the area.
This Indian outlet is really close to my office, we tried out this place for lunch, we took naan pizzas and rice bowls. Trust me these creative dishes are must try ones. Would be visiting them again soon.
Great authentic Indian food with incredibly fast service. Nice unique atmosphere inside. This will become a lunch staple.
This is gonna be a bitter sweet one cos the I had both the worst food experience and the best here. The chicken Biryani they serve is without a question the worst in existence but their chicken tikka rice bowl is really really good. Please guys, take your Biryani off your menu and save another unsuspecting customer some pain.
I had a shrimp rice bowl and a side of Naan. I was provided very friendly service, the food was yummy and the portions are generous. They have repurposed rickshaws for some of the seating. It is clean and inviting. I look forward to going back to try other offerings.
It was a disappointment. Food is bland doesn't have authentic taste to it, just smells good. I ordered rice bowl with tandoori chicken and tikka curry. The concept is good but lacks flavor. Review Updated: They have improved their menu specially Tandoori chicken now tastes much better than what they used to offer.
Great
Omg!!! Ssooo freaking fire. I walked in thinking it was some type of other food, but then I saw what it was.. looked very interesting. I stayed and ordered food because the nice beautiful young woman with the pink glitter eye liner on her eye lids was super friendly and welcoming. The nice young man rang me up. They both put me up on game with what I should get. Had a lamb Naanwich
Awesome place to eat! Great food ❤
Great, Unique, and tasty! Don't be afraid to ask for help on your order!
I ordered Biryani and it was the worst biryani I have ever seen. Nothing more than fully cooked rice mixed with big chunk of curry.
I tried their ‘nan-wich’ and rice bowl, which were very good.
Good concept of presenting desi food. Will definitely visit again.
Food was cold, horrible customer service
Saw one of the guy working there doing something improper while serving. It was disappointing!
Pros: Service was nice, hence the extra star. Cons: I got the Naan Pizza. Interesting concept, but as far as taste, I give it a 3.5 - 4 out of 10. I love Indian food and I love pizza, but this just didn't do it for me.
This place is the essence of India. It has the feel of Indian fusion in an American style walk up and pick your toppings style restaurant. The food is just outstanding. I had an Naan Pizza that was made to order with all of the toppings that I picked out huge list of of about 14 that were all on the cool tv menu boards that they had hanging from the wall. Also the mango lassi had a distinct taste from India, that I never tasted until I tried it here at this restaurant. The colors of the restaurant and the rickshaws as tabels were the icing on the cake to make me feel like I’ve stepped into a little bit of India. Just a wonderful pace to get some really tasty authentic Indian food and a bit of Indian culture as well. Well done to the owners of this place. A returning customer for years to come.
Everything was great except for the chicken. If you're not going to cook chicken to order, then cooked, chopped breastmeat is not the best cut to keep in a steam table. The lamb and sauces are awesome.
A Chipotle for Indian food, but with more authenticity and fresher menu...oh and not to mention, RICKSHAWS!! You can choose from naan pizza/tacos, naanwich, and a rice bowl. Portion size is generous and they don't skimp on toppings either- you can get as many as you want, including chutneys (as a Chaat fanatic, this is paradise). The workers are genuinely friendly and recommended the berry lassi, which was a much welcome change from mango lassi. 10/5 stars!
Totally new experience with Indian food!!! Just like chipotle or Qdoba..... Also the taste was amazing!!!! Just loved it!
Awesome Food with the excellent service, tried Garlic Shrimps with tikka curry it’s taste great must try this
Fresh and tasty. Good vegan options.
A great place for a family outing, tasty food, not at all costly, we ordered a chicken tikka rice bowl, we loved it.
Placed an order for delivery via grub hub. As per the manager or employee said that driver waited and no one came to pick it up and they also called me. However, I didn’t get one call.. or voicemail. Also I was waiting on the food as scheduled, no one was there. I called them and they inquired and they refused to come back. The point is I m literally less than 5 mins away from the location, its just I couldn’t leave my workplace because I work in a hospital. It was embarrassing cause I actually ordered food for my colleagues.
The food was too good. The staff member "KT" was very much helpful and waited for me to pick up the order even after closing time.
Great modern take on classic dishes and always delicious! The naan pizza was love at first bite and there are many food combinations to try! Staff is super friendly and very understanding. We got some burnt food and they didnt hesitate to remedy the issue. A must try if you're in Indy!
You're not living your best life if you're not eating here.
Competently executed Indian food in a fast casual concept. Or as the manager suggested on the way in, "Indian Q'Doba." It's an excellent combination for a quick, tasty lunch downtown. You can grab a rice bowl, naan pizza, or a naanwich with your choice of protein, sauce, and veggie toppings. What I liked most was that I could get my dish topped with fresh green chilis. I also snagged a potato samosa with the classic combo of minty green chutney and brown tamarind sauce, and it was gone before I knew it.
If you like americanized version of Indian food then this is the place to go.
Chipotle with an Indian twist!
good food
Very good
It was pretty good. I would eat here again. I got the bowl. The Peshawar cheese was good. I sampled it, but did not get it for my bowl protein. Would be interested in trying the naanwhich and the naan pizza.
Build your own meal makes for nice variety, can be a tad intimidating if you're unsure but the staff is good for recommendations.
Best Indian food outlet
Amazing service and food! Quick and affordable meal! I willl be going back for sure! The rice bowl was delicious and the mango lassi was to die for!
Creative way to have Indian food (similar ordering style to Blaze or Qdoba but Indian)! Staff were helpful in picking good flavor combinations as you went through your options. Interior is also fun--you can sit in tuk tuks.
Great food, nice proportions. Look forward to going back.
It's an "Americanized Indian restaurant". The set up is more like a Order (from a listed of predefined items), Pay and Pick up (something similar to the famous fast-food chains such as Subway, Wendy's, KFC, McD's Burger King etc.,). Being an Indian I won't prefer to eat in here. This pace, though serving Indian food, loses its identity of a true Indian traditions.
Good India food
Loved the Lassi but tables were not clean.
Surprisingly good Indian/American food.
If you've ever been to Sushi Boss (right next door) you get the concept of Tandoor&Tikka. Mix and match the various flavors of India to design you're own meal. All that I've tried has been very good, with flavors being the best that one can get from a fast food restaurant. Definitely worth it.
Chipotle like concept. They have nanwich and nanpizza... Sandwich and pizza made with nan... Sounds interesting. We tried rice bowl. Unfortunately, the rice was dry and most of the food was cold. And they are a disgrace as an indian place when it comes to spice level.
Yum
Very Bad experience
Very sub par flavor. And they're not "mimosas" lol. Go to the other place instead.
Great environment
This place will not pay you if you work for them!!!!! They won't even have you fill out tax papers!!!!
We arrived around 9.30pm to have dinner with my wife and kids. After we ordered, 5 minutes later this rude lady (white black hair) came from the back...she told us that we will had to leave at 10pm because the restaurant was closing. She was annoyed with us ordering food. Extremely unprofessional and unwelcome...food was ok but she needs to remember that she works in service...do yourself a favor and hire people that give a shi... about your business.
It was pretty good, I will be back to try more of the menu.
Casual and unique way to eat Indian fusion food. Based on LT’s recommendations we tried the naanwich - chickpeas and paneer with saag curry- and the rice bowl - tandoor chicken with tikka masala and korma. For the affordable cost we were impressed with the size of the servings and have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We also tried several chutneys and the chicken samosas. Everything was yummy. We washed it down with some craft beers. If anything, my only recommendation would be to add more local beer selections. We’ll definitely be back to try more combinations of proteins, curries, chutneys, and to try to naan pizza!
Indo-American fusion food. Fast service.
Every thing was more than I expected and waiters gave what you was ready for without bothering me to much.
We stopped here for lunch on the way to Missouri. It was like Chipotle for Indian food. The interior of the shop was nicely done as well. Some of the toppings were not really Indian and I was wondering how it would all taste! Tasted better than I thought it would! You have the option to get half of two curries for the rice bowl. We got the Tandoori chicken as protein and that wasn't even close. The meat was like white and minced. I got the Turmeric ginger shrimp and loved it.
