Nice little place. Fast, friendly service. The sandwich was tasty (bourbon/bacon and steak). The fries were crisp and nicely salted. They have a few tables to eat in. Place was clean and not very noisy. They also have 2 booths that were very private. Will go back again.

Wow! One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I had the delirious dagwood and the totally loaded fries. Ther fries were LOADED with toppings! I would definitely recommend and will take my family here when they visit. The staff was great and the restaurant was in perfect condition!

As a child in Florida all I ate was Steak escape when my parents worked in the mall when we moved to Indiana we were sad to know that there wasn't any steak escapes in Indiana and when we found out they finally opened one we were excited and decided to eat there and we were amazed when we tried our food I highly recommend that you try Steak Escape

The best Philly Steak I've had in Indy, and fast, friendly service. Sirloin and chicken breast grilled fresh before your eyes. Several cheeses to choose from including true Philly style Cheese Whiz, and delicious bread, baked in-house.

The staff is nice and the place is clean, but I was very disappointed with the sandwiches. We had a classic, bourbon, triple cheese, and the one with steak sauce. The biggest issue is their sauces. The bbq and steak sauce ruin the sandwiches, not that the steak was that great. We did also have the buffalo chicken fries and loaded fries, which were adequate. Penn Station is a million times better.

Nice place and people. I have only been here twice and second visit is my last. When I've gone they don't have many customers and I just asked them about opening a second location, they'll be lucky if they can keep the one they got open. The food I had was fine, but sorry, they are not better than Penn Station. I love banana peppers over green peppers and I'm not much of a fan of BP on pizza, but I love it on PS subs and I need my pizza sauce! I tried putting marinara sauce on my sandwich I had at home as a substitute; not the same.

I used door dash with 2 other resturaunts tonight firehouse subs and then jersey mikes. Firehouse messed up my order so I got a credit back and used it for jersey mikes. Jersey Mike's ran out of bread! So I went with steak escape 15 mins before closing. And guess what they got it all correct and they were quick!!! Thank you!!!

I'm from Philly & these guys have the best cheesesteaks in Indianapolis! I was born & raised in Philadelphia, so I take my cheesesteaks very seriously. So many people overload them with ingredients that aren't true to a real cheesesteak's roots! If you aren't able to go to Philly and want to try a damn good cheesesteak, go here and get the OG Philly. Gotta have it "wit Wiz"!

First of all, you guys are extremely rude on the phone and I yhiughtbud found a great place to order from. One of the girls made a snide commoner about your establishment not being pizza hut because I like pepperoni. This most recent time, I was hung up on twice.!!!! He hasn't even got my address or card info. Then they got my order wrong; which I found to be almost impossible, due to the sarcasticly slow movement of the conversation. I had to repeat myself multiple times and he repeated it back to me. I'm not understanding what the issue is..

I noticed the Steak Escape when going to BW3 for my wife. Got a menu to study, as eating is one of my passtimes, lol. I visited it the next day. Looks like a clean, efficient operation. Ordering was a snap. I used a coupon from the Discover Indy coupon book. Supposed to be buy one get one free but the cashier only took the amount for a small sandwich and not the Regular sized one. The manager fixed it but I wonder if it was a mistake or not. Anyway, I'll check closer next time. There will be a next time. The Triple Cheese Cheesesteak was good and very cheesey. The fresh cut fries were good. All in all, very good but for Cheesesteak and fresh cut fries, I like Penn Station much better.

Placed an order through GrubHub and after an hour my food was delivered with cold fries and cold "Philly Cheese Steak" that was made with ground hamburger almost no green pepper and melted velveeta. Delivery guy was nice, but I don't think the cook knows how to make a Philly..

This place is as close as you can get to a real Philly cheesesteak with and Cheese wiz! The food is great, priced well, but what makes it even better is the people that run and on the place. I’m always impressed by how nice they are and no matter what they are very friendly, helpful, courteous and they do a great job. It’s a little hidden gem for a great little meal. Do we eat there as often as we can and great for take our for work meetings or a quick but amazing lunch. Personally, I think it’s the bread but really I know it’s the people that make the difference.

This is one of the nicest teams and cleanest steak and fresh cut fry places I've tried in awhile. The veggies are really fresh, the bread had to have been freshly made today and wow did they make sure my mom who needs room for her Walker was settled with everything she needs. A treat all the way round. Her doctor says many of his staff love this place and I know why.

This place puts Pen Station, Subway, Jimmy Johns and any sub place in Indy to shame!! I can’t stress it enough, literally the best place to eat. I thought over time I would get tired if I kept coming here to eat on a weekly basis but I was wrong. I come 3 times a week and still never get tired of it. The food, the staff and the atmosphere is great. The fact there is only one location in Indy surprises me still. I live in Avon and I still manage to drive to this location to eat the food. I always get the Black and Blue sandwich which is my favorite to eat. Ohh again!! There is no sub place that is better than Steak Escape, not even Philadelphia steakhouse.

I'm in Indy on business. I checked out Google and decided to try this placed based on the amount of positive reviews. Customer service was outstanding. The staff was very nice. I'd say the price point is mid range. $8.99 for a large sandwich, $4.49 for the loaded Bleu fries, and $2.49 for a reg soda. With tax I walked out paying $16.75. The Cajun Bleu fries were a bit too salty for my liking. The sandwich was good, however it needs a little something extra. I believe the steak requires some seasoning ( kinda bland). The bread is fresh and soft as aforementioned in many other reviews. Overall a the sandwich is decent and worth a shot.
